I love how she told them to fuck off and leave her alone and lied and said she’s hormonal and upset bc she’s on her period and they both went ‘but you had your period last week!’, then she makes a comment about her being on the pill messing all of her hormones up and then both Ben Lulu AND Polchak go ‘and you are on the pill because? you think your girlfriend Orian might knock you up?😂😂😂’ and then Lia, the queen she is is yelling at them in return: ‘WOULD YOU MIND GETTING OUT OF MY WOMB, PLEASE? ENOUGH!’

I decided to rewatch Taagad on a whim so if I live blog about it, I’ll be using the tag ‘live blogging tr’ so you can blacklist it! But I am tired so chances are I won’t live blog it lol

The scene where Rotem says that now that Daniel has left she feels she has no family left, and THEN the scene of Lia and all the boys visiting her at the hospital during their VERY first weekend off, coming to support her straight off the base, without even changing to civilian attire first, no, they are all there with their madey alef on, and then they are spending shabbat together, being there at the hospital with her, instead of going out clubbing/seeing their families... them singing shalom aleychem all together, doing Kiddush and se’udat shabbat together, like your average Israeli family on Friday night, then them goofing around, getting drunk together... and Rotem saying happily ‘you guys are my family now’ and Lia replying ‘yes, we are. We are your family’.......... be still my dying heart.

Rotem genuinely smiling softly for the first time in forever at the sight of her found family... Lia being emotionally mature and HONEST for a change... all the boys ditching everything just to support Rotem...... my heart.

The contrast between Rotem’s initial feelings of loneliness and desperation vs. her genuine happiness when she realises feels at /home/ with her found family, because they ARE her family now, Lia with all of her dysfunction and complex character, and the boys with all of their stupidity and shenanigans, they are each other’s family. Yeah, they are a bit broken, and yes, they’re slightly dysfunctional, stupid, and also traumatised, but nonetheless, they are there for her and will always be. And seeing Rotem realise that, and the contrast between her epiphany to her earlier feelings of despair is just so so good.
