AHHH, THANK YOU SO MUCH--the toddler leg ride was something I knew I needed to include since I remember them fondly as a child. Ugh, yesss, they all have something, don’t they? :( It gets worse before it gets better but it DOES get better!

Ahahaha, there will be lots more! (maybe not 2000 pages, but certainly more than 4 more chapters! 😁)

Okay so I don't actually have many writing works Started save for one, so I can probably just talk about AUs or things I have planned to write instead? Just maybe in not too much detail so as to not psych myself out of actually writing them. LMAO

1. The Way To His Heart Is Through His Stomach, Oh God Please Don’t Eat Me: This doesn’t actually have a title yet but fuck it, may as well be that. Wen Chao ends up in a funky place simply known as The Afterlife, where Qi Rong has been moping endlessly as he waits for the day he can see Guzi again. The two cross paths and a cozy slice of life adventure begins in which Qi Rong incessantly tries to lure Wen Chao back home so he can eat him, but Wen Chao is convinced he wants to pursue him romantically. 19k words already written of this fucking thing, which features me trying to build a tiny world, including making characters specifically for this. Hopefully it’ll be done by Halloween, and yes, it’ll be shippy (and have smut. Which I do not include in my work often so do not expect much GJSHJJJSHJ)

2. Su She, Fixer of Everything: This’ll be my next big project after the one above, and it’s entirely born out of me running gags into the ground. The gag in question this time is, of course, Su She is Jiang Cheng and Wen Chao’s child. Yes, I am writing a fic of it. Yes, it’s going to be fucking great, trust me. He wakes up one day and both his parents are gone and he needs to figure out how to get them back. He is not ready for what he’s going to learn about them as he does this.

3. Revival AU: There will be a written instalment longer than the one it already has, dealing with Xue Yang’s ultimate goal in summoning who was originally meant to be Wen Zhuliu. It’ll mark a sort of end in the series, or at least a break from the main storyline (yes it has a storyline SHH). Check out what I’ve posted of it over on @xuechao ! 

4. The Winds of Winter Vampire Songxiao Trilogy: Alongside the wonderfully talented @aoxue who I have sold my soul to. We’ve teased some stuff to you guys already so I might not go into TOO much detail about it, but really, how much detail do you NEED? It’s Songxiao and they’re vampires. We are planning this out carefully so it may not see the light of day (in true vampire fashion) for a while, but all good things take time, and nothing is stopping us from making shitposts of it in the meantime! I am really excited and thrilled to have such an awesome co-parent to this AU, it’s got me bouncing off the walls and we have done SO MUCH PLANNING............

There is a tentative 5 which is the Songxiao Modern Adoption AU: Wary of writing this one still though I adore the concept to pieces and I’ve posted several art instalments of it. I’d feel more comfortable tackling this one with the help of someone who Knows More than I do, because even if I do a bunch of research (which I am doing) I’m still scared of messing up sdkfgksg 

So much Wen Chao! But what were you expecting, really!? Sit down and eat your frog dinner!
