mr.puzzles Is an age regressor. I said so, he had no childhood at all and to cope with that his escapism is not only tv shows but kids tv shows like blues clues. And another place is a nusery where he has a caregiver to love and give him attention and gold stars for drawings and ideas. Just a little kid 3-5 wanting praise and kindness all the time.

Often escaping to a nursery where he had 2 caregivers who love him dearly and allow him to cry and give him all the praise he needed. And gets sad when that escape faded away in the back of his mind, often repressing to look more adult like.

I've decided to do a little spin on a Favorite Character Bingo Challenge, only instead, I've decided to pull up Two Editions (One for Protagonists, and the Other, for Antagonists).

Because I happened to have way WAY too many Favorite Characters over the Years besides than having way too many fandoms over the years, I've decided to put up a Separate Favorite Character Bingo lists.

You might be familiar with some of them while the rest is the most that you don't know/unfamiliar with.

WOTFI 2024 Bingo results

If you didn't know @midnight1nk created a bingo map! (You can find the original post here). With these peoples ideas: /midnight1nk, /Sardix (me), @34saveme34 , @time1srunout , @porschas-palette , @yullalightk , @Nicc

Anyway, here are the results (and yes i am aware the picture looks a little off with colors but it's a printed out wersion with stars as stickers) + screenshots from the moments that I felt counted or not. And a reminder I was going off of the description of spaces and not their names. (However, If I put something in the wrong place tell me and I will fix it :), I am also always up for discussion)

Sadly we did not get Bingo but there will be plenty oportunities in the future

1. Mario ruins the show! (He did the final blow)

2. Karma (they did beat him although he didn't become something like Leggy)

3. Mr. Puzzle having a grudge against Smg4 - (I think this counts?)

5. It's gotta be perfect (IGBP) - (it wasn't really mentioned BUT this monster was present + the whole hate Smg4 gets that played an important role in IGBP) (add Photos from IGTBP)

6. Freak Show - it wasn't really said but they all got a whole makeover for the carnival show

7. Carnival-themed rap - this one doesn't need explaining (also it was a banger, I cannot stop listening to it)

8. The Bell tolls - I don't know if this counts or not, but I decided to put it here because there is like A LOT of "death" during the minigames. (I could put all the moments in here because of the picture limit)

9. Merch - I mean, it was gonna be for 100%; this time, tho mostly Mr.Puzzle teamed, which makes sense seeing his popularity in and outside the fandom.

10. Sacrifice - Meggy getting saved by Smg4 by using Mario (also my theory about Smg4 after the IGBP whenever angry getting suddenly super strong physically works, because he was FAST and you could see in his eyes the determination to not let any of his friends die again)

11. Meggy confronts - she does, in fact, confront him but doesn't really scold him for his wrongdoings. Still, I think that the interaction counted.

12. Brand new look - as shown before most of the cast gets a makeover, which are new look carnival-teamed

13. Puzzle Tune - it appears at the very beginning of the first song that Mr.Puzzle sings as Smg4 and Mario are in the boat

Now the stuff that I think didn't count and why:

1. Past arc or trauma - the trauma from past arcs wasn't mentioned unless you count Smg4 hate comments. Or Mr.Puzzles past but that's not really mentioning past arcs.

2. Park destroyed - it wasn't destroyed like Wren's lab, just got closed

3. Puzzles backstory - we got a scene where what was already shown in the Didney episode was explained; we didn't get any new info from the one we already knew.

4. Not so different - sadly, a scene like this does not happen no matter how much I wished it did. ( it sounds too good to be true.) BUT it may happen in the future.

5. (Ending) twist - Mr.Puzzle didn't reveal that he was behind the 2023 WOTFI, and I don't think Leggy 2.0 counts as a character foreshadowing, although Marty the cardboard became an actual character, so we never know.

6. Star Rating system - suprisingly it is never out right mentioned, Mr.Puzzle only mentions the destruction of his show.

7. Tenner tunnel - which I assume is just the tunnel of fun, but since it never is really shown, we cannot know for sure. It only kinda appears in the background

8. Smg4 kids - they didn't even appear in the background, so...

9. Puzzles dies - it is not his time yet, and it appears he has yet to play some really important roles in the story.

10. You saved me - to probably a lot of fans disapointment with Smg3 under control we did not get to see them interact other than fighting (Smg4 and Smg3).probably becouse of the movie being a litle shorter than usual (less than 30 minutes if you take out the merch talk) we did not get a scene with them even reuniting after being freed from the hypnotic state.

11. Dynamic change - some people would probably say that the dynamic between Mr.Puzzle and Meggy changed but from the beginning, we could see that deep inside she wanted to help or a part of her, and I do not mean Leggy (although I suppose it could count but for now I'm leaving it here)

12. Leggy's flag - honestly I'm not sure if it even appears, but it definitely did not play an important role

Bonus: They remembered the video where Smg4 became the clown king, aka where it was never resolved, so I think now it is officially canon and not just a one-time joke. (Please tell me I wasn't the only one who joticed that)

Well, would you look at that? We got 14 out of 25, not a bad score, I must say! And I'm sure we can't wait for what will come in the future

Btw this might take a WHILEE

Smg8 is from a different universe, technically he's like an alternate version of smg4 and smg9 also being an alternate version of smg3, in smg8s universe all the characters are different from the og universe but I'll touch up on them later. Smg8 just like smg4 is a YouTuber and he works hard on his memes and animations, while smg8 runs a meme/animation channel he also has an art channel which is his main channel where he works on his art and comics etc, he usually records him doing the art if it's painting or traditional or digital art and while he does this he does some commentary and plays music in the background or collabs with other people, he's a cartoonist so he mostly just draws cartoons on his art channel and he usually live streams gaming on his other channel too. Smg8 also has a little schedule thing for when he post his stuff on his meme channel and art channel so he has enough time to hang out with the smg8 crew and to go on silly adventures with them.

Also smg8 is best friends with smg9, they did start off as mortal enemies from the beginning where smg9 would try to copy smg8s videos and steal his art but after years of fighting they started getting to know each other better and smg9 stopped trying to steal smg8s stuff and they soon became best friends and smg8 and 9 would teach each other about there own art styles, something smg4 and 3 will never do in there universe.

Smg8's secret sketchbook has a state of the Cats lock on it which means it is literally impossible to open without the kitty key that was given to smg8 during the ending of the war of the cats arc in his universe given to him by the kitty god, also the kitty god gave him a kitty, his name is kitty and ever since smg8 has sworn to protect kitty just for the kitty god. (also wanted to say that kitty was given to smg8 in like almost the beginning of the start of smg8 and the crew, when it was only Mario, peach, smg8, and 9 and smg8 and 9 still looked like Mario)

ArtsyMario89's Pencil is a very powerful pencil that was used to save the universe from Bowser who tried to steal that pencil to make the whole world bow down to him, this pencil has the ability to make anything you draw in air or paper come to life, like axols pencil in a way, Artsymario89 would use this pencil to make creative arts and statues for places and many other things and one night Bowser kidnapped ArtsyMario89 and took him to space where Bowser had started making a whole empire and needed artsymarios help so now artsymario was like a slave working tirelessly on the moon to satisfy bowsers evil needs, when smg8 found out about his idol being kidnapped he immediately started asking around and found out he was in space so smg8 asked Mario to do a BLJ to space and it worked, together Mario and smg8 had to go through many weird levels and stuff to get to bowsers castle and they eventually made it but since the empire was too huge everything started to form a black hole behind the castle and Bowser fought smg8 and Mario for a bit till the hole got huge and started sucking everyone in, Artsymario89 started getting sucked in and smg8 tried to hold onto him and artsymario told him to grab his pencil and draw something big enough to seal it and he also told smg8 that he believes in him to do this just for him and smg8 was crying since that's like his idol and then artsymario89 let go and flew into the blackhole dying, to make things a bit shorter smg8 told Mario to get ready to BLJ while smg8 drew a huge sealing net thing to close the black hole and then when he closed the black hole he quickly got on Mario and BLJ'd back to earth while Bowser flew back to earth in his koopa car, though artsymario89 died now smg8 had something of his to remember from him.

Basic info about him: tophatman is the consumer of smg4 universes, his job is to consume universes that are absolutely useless, like a universe where smg4 has a mustache in his redesign or something, obviously before he consumes universes he must kill everybody in said universe and then he eats them just to make sure they don't cause any chaos while he eats the universe lol, anyway how he starts an arc is that he gets sick and tired of eating these absolutely useless universes because he has heard that the ones that are ever so slightly Relavent taste way better so he goes to smg8s universe to kill off everyone but he fails because he gets beat up really badly so he just decides to leave but in the process he accidentally slaps smg8 and 9 into the multiverse and 8 and 9 are left in the multiverse alone and they decide together they are gonna go swim around and look for a universe that could help them and suddenly when they did they found the smg4 universe, it was in the center of the universe and they swam there knowing that they could probably get help from there and then they crash landed in the universe sadly separating from each other for a bit while they are in the universe...

Me rambling about funny TV man burnout for way too long))

You know, it’s pretty unfortunate that I’m feeling SMG4/Mr. Puzzles burnout now of all times, not just because WOTFI is upon us, but also because Puzzles himself seems to be becoming what I and other fans have wanted him to be for a while: A genuine, unhinged villain with a big operation going on, and not a complete boy-failure. Yeah, I still think his “red static” faces are a bit too over the top, and I still don’t care much for the stuff with Meggy/Leggy, but at least they’re trying to make him a more serious villain liked he seemed to be before Puzzlevision.

I feel like I might not be feeling this way if “Mario get’s his mustache stolen” and the Inside Out epsisode didn’t happen, and the next time we saw Puzzles after “A Night at Smg4’s” was in “Puzzle’s Lowest Point”. All those previous appearances, plus the two videos fully focused on Puzzles in a row, plus the fact that this TV takes up more space in my brain than I like to admit, makes me feel like I’ve had my fill of Mr Puzzles for a while.

It’s like a food you love: You love eating it, you want to have a lot more of it, but after a while you grow tired of it and want to move onto something else.

Me being burnt out on Puzzles specifically is also unfortunate, considering he’s basically the only reason I’ve kept up with SMG4 for this long. With most of my favorite characters being stuck in cameo hell, Tari getting her development from western spaghetti practically erased around Puzzlevision, and a bunch of other little things, Mr Puzzles being a fun character was pretty much the one thing left keeping me engaged with the show. But I can’t have one character be the reason I’m still attached to a show forever.

It also doesn’t help that as opposed to WOTFI 2023, I feel like I know exactly what’s going to happen in WOTFI 2024: The crew’s gonna get enslaved by Puzzles for his theme park, doing a bunch of carnival themed challenges is somehow going to save the day, rap battle ensues, Puzzles looses the his park and is probably reduced to a boy failure again, there’s probably some big change, back to status quo. That’s kinda the main problem I see with having WOTFI endings to arcs: apart from 2023, they’re so formulaic that it’s kinda predictable how the story’s going to go.

TLDR: I think I’ve had my fill of Mr Puzzles for now. I might pass on WOTFI 2023, and I’m probably going to take another break from SMG4, if I decide to go back to it at all.

Absolutely! I’m 100% sure that we haven’t seen the last of him yet. The recent SMG4 community post mentions that we will possibly be seeing him again if we want more. And considering the amount of positive feedback of Mr.zestfest over here (even outside the community which to me is crazy), I’m very positive we will be seeing him again. Just not right now as things need to chill for a bit. And when he does come back, who knows what he’ll do next?

And yeah, I feel like if they were to kill off one of the idiotic lovers, it would definitely be Three. Of course, we’re talking very very hypothetical. They’ve already done so much for SMG3 (merch and development wise) that killing him off would set half of the fandom ablaze, and cause issues within the show itself. And also, I just wanna point out how tragic each couple presented in glitch productions is.

Literally haven’t seen a happy main couple yet (swag and sonic don’t count in this case). Axol literally had to sacrifice himself by making MELONY kill him. Right after they both confessed to eachother. And then N and Uzi having there own situation right now (Uzi literally scarificed herself. And she’s in space. I think, I’m not entirely educated on MD lore). Oh, and I don’t know if this counts (I’m sure it doesn’t, but just because they were close friends) Meggy and desti. Desti was killed right in front of Meggy, and she could not do anything about it other than watch. AND THE THING IS, even if desti did live, Meggy would have been the one to die based of the episode “SMG4: WHAT IF?….”. Doomed yuri goes crazy actually.

But yeah. Imagine if they were to actually make SMG4 and SMG3 cannon. Something is bound to happen, and it would not end well. Not sure what it would be, but it would definitely doom their relationship 😭

The Dead End: creepypasta/SCP/FNAF AU.

Foregoten God(name subject to change for a better one): Soul Eater/Mairimashita Iruma-kun/Monsterverse AU with some character from Sonic, Eddsworld, FNAF, Teletubbies, and probably Fire Force.

Cosmique Game (not official name yet): Homestuck/Fortuna AU.

(no name yet): Dude that get sacrifice by is parent for a god who they dont know is already dead so dude become a vengeful spirit possesing a statue and kill peaple, after a while dude enconter immortal little girl with posseded plush and after a while form a brother/sister relationship. Lot of supernatural things.

Book of Sueñmei (name in progress): collection of storys about multiple peaple mostly some isekai one, only 3 have fixed story, the water lord who is a dude that got isekai as a monster seaslug and way way later become know as a guardian of the ocean. Then we have a mouse that get isekai into a prince with the power to become a monster mouse but only the royal mage know about it. And there is a monster sloth living in some sort of reserve that wish to fly. The other are still in développement.

(No name yet): originaly was just a Mairimashita Iruma-kun AU centered about my OCs but i decide to make it is own thing. Shity summarys, 2 demon found a spaceship with animals from all over the univers and when opening one of the cage a human girl began shouting at them with a gun, shenanigan happen and they live together in an abandoned mansion wich have a portal to the human world in the basement. They also encouter space police, ghost, divinity's and monster that definitely should stay as fairytales. It's mostly a not serious story but with serious moment.

So I came up with the beginnings of an idea for an SMG4 fangame that I am never ever ever going to be able to make because I have no programming skills whatsoever.

The story starts with Boopkins showing up at the castle with a new manga that he bought from Wizard Rock who claimed it was enchanted. Some of the crew is interested, but Bob, Meggy and Saiko are pretty sure he got scammed and Mario doesn't really care because he's too busy seducing a plate of spaghetti. They read through the start, which is mostly just an introduction to the setting and villain (which I haven't come up with yet), but when they get to where the main plot would start it shows...Boopkins coming to the castle with his new manga, and blank spaces where the panels past the point in time where they are now.

Then the manga glows and sucks in SMG4, Mario, Meggy, Bob and Boopkins, landing in a grassy field in chibi 2D forms, and in Boopkins' case as a round floating fish with no legs, they get their bearings and see a fancy tower nearby just past a tutorial-y platforming section, and gameplay starts.

It'd be a four player Metroidvania (this is the point where I admit that I came up with this while watching a walkthrough of Disney Illusion Island) in some kind of fantasy setting. The four playable characters are functionally identical with unique animations, so for example their basic attack involves Mario doing his standard punch-punch-kick, Bob slashing with his swords, Meggy doing kickboxing moves, and 4 wildly flailing a keyboard in front of him. Boopkins floats around with them since he's the Exposition Fairy and he holds onto whoever gets knocked out until the group reaches the next checkpoint, or takes them back to the last one if they're all knocked out.

The tower they're headed towards is owned by a local wizard who was Wizard Rock's roommate in Magic College and asked for his help in summoning a team of heroes who could save the realm. The group obviously agrees (somewhat reluctantly in Mario and Bob's case) or else we wouldn't have a story, and he kits them out with their first upgrade; Projectile weapons. Mario gets special gloves that let him shoot fireballs without a Fire Flower, Meggy gets a magic crossbow that never runs out of bolts, SMG4 gets a wand that lets him conjure small objects formed from his imagination (memes. he's yeeting memes out of a stick), and Bob gets...a small cannon that he can shoot Boopkins out of. Don't worry about Boopkins, the same spell that brought them here and turned him into a little flying fish also made him indestructible. He's still useless in a fight unless Bob is using him as a projectile though.

Also, when the characters get knocked out they turn into little tokens until they're revived at a checkpoint, which is how Boopkins is carrying them around. They look like that high quality Beeg SMG4 in the new "SMG4 Crew" logo, except Bob's is triangular instead of round to fit the poncho look of his robes.

And that's all I got so far.

[MMD/SMG4] Tari is Kent Brockman

My first MMD animation featuring the SMG4 characters.

In this animated video, we take a look at the SMG4 Cast as they watched the live coverage (with Tari as a reporter a la Kent Brockman) of average astronauts, SMG4, SMG3 and Mario, in their spaghetti-filled space adventure but one little creature was trying to ruin the scene.

Headcanons for mr.puzzles!!

■ Mr puzzles regresses around 3-5 years old.

■ He loves to color and draw, and finger paint when he gets permission to.

■ He's a giggly toddler and often shows his caregivers his tv show ideas and his cool new plays he makes.

■ Going by he/they!

■ He has 2 caregivers to take care of him, pretty much replacement for his inactive parents.

■ He's a fussy toddler sometimes and over hit his own screen out of annoyance, and pulls often at his antennas when not able to talk

■ He's gotten easily attached to his caregivers and often doesnt leave their side feeling safe and loved around them.

■ He does impurity regress at times during mental breakdowns and when he injured often crying and coughing up a storm. Needing somebody to help slipping to fast to catch himself.

■ He uses pull ups, you couldn't put him in a diaper. He'd rather die. And hates rattles often finding them annoying.

■ He doesn't use pacifier often using a teether instead and had a stuffed bunny named Ms carrot. A light brown rabbit with crinkly ears that he snuggles with when small.

■ He doesn't baby regress often and doesn't like to admit that he is an regressor and often represses himself until he breaks.

■ He loves his footed pajamas and often wears big hoodies not feeling so great about his body.

■ He's easily sleepy and often falls asleep in his carers arms whenever he's to tired, as if he didn't just say 3 minutes ago he wasn't tired and didn't need a nap

■ He loves playing pretends with his TV shows, often self inserting himself into his favorite TV shows and getting lost in his shows.

■ Only talking in short phrases and mostly whining for what he wants if he isn't throwing a tantrum.

■ he's not a brat, he has had no parental figures to guide him so he's lost, and big feelings like sadness and anger etc hit him way more than most people. Often getting told he's dramatic by people when he doesn't know how to control emotions when small.

■ He can share not with baby regressors afraid they would hurt his toys and feelihg protective over them.

■ Can't dress himself often needing help to dress himself and hates bathes often needing heavy convincing to bathe. (His head is a tv so he's scared but his body is still in Canon human so he does stink lol)

Often his caregivers bath him when he's tired or just slowly work him into bathing and wipe his tears.

I’m not particularly one to make major response posts like these, but I feel these thoughts I’ve had have simmered for quite a while now and I just wanted to get this off my chest. To some that may know, I’m a fan of the Anime Arc cuz honestly, it was fun and hype to sit through. On the look back, it still is, even with the noticeable drawbacks. But I won’t deny that the moment we fans know is divisive is one for a reason. For some, it was bad and other say it was good but frankly I haven’t seen many properly explain why. Which is where I want to come in momentarily, give my two cents on why Desti’s passing worked on an objective level.

Initially, and I hate doing this, but I gotta respond to the most notable saying of why it doesn’t work. I’ll get to the main argument in a moment but I wanted to discuss the setup point where it revolves around the deaths of Avocato from Final Space and Gamma from Sonic Adventure. 

Now truly, I remember these passing moments fondly but I feel that comparing them to Desti’s death is noticeably unfair if we wanna talk contextually. Like if we’re taking both series to its full context, Final Space has the disadvantage where it resurrected Avocato while SMG4 kept Desti dead; the resurrection not only undercutting the weight of the initial departure but having not as much weight as before. Much as I like Avocato, having a “No One’s Ever Really Gone” approach to Final Space kinda devalued the idea that death is permanent for Gary and his friend, if only for a moment. If Desti’s resurrected later on, I’ll eat that crow, but that is doubtful. Though, if we take season 2 out the equation, it’s fair to say both deaths have their considered impacts with who it affects especially. 

I’ll express that a little later, but I want to move over to Gamma’s death where, and I hate to say this, it’s an unfair comparison all around cuz Gamma’s story doesn’t have the same set pieces as Desti’s because contextually his death was understandably sacrificial, he willingly self-destruct after knowing his true identity. Heck, you can’t even stack Gamma’s with Avocato’s because his heroic death meant something far different than the other two. Nah, I say the death reminiscent to Desti’s the most is with Aeris’ of Final Fantasy VII. But, I think it’s fair to first point out what this counter purposefully omitted: Desti’s character.

Now it would stand to believe the most we see of Desti aside the anime arc is “If Mario was in Splatoon 2”. But to say that is all to her character is being ignorant towards her character because the anime arc furthers expressed who Desti was as a character. She was prideful, no-nonsense, loves being a step of Meggy even when it means playing unfair. She was basically Meggy put to a logical extreme. In “Splatoon 2″, “Meggy’s Bootcamp”, and “Mario Showdown”, we see that seed of how much Meggy means to her as a rival and how focused she can be when it came to their rivalry, considering her the biggest threat in the Splatfest games. These traits are expanded in “The Splatfest Incident” where she is willing to her pride aside for a moment to help the gang find Meggy when she goes missing. The search for Meggy doesn’t throw away her hot-headedness and pride however, as we see in “The Inkling Disappearances” and “Mario and the Experiment” that she is more than willing to throw down regardless of what stands in her way, even to where she’s making her and Meggy’s escape into a challenge. 

More importantly, we get to see a soft side of her where she isn’t fully aloof and tries to be there for her team, or those she come to find as close as she gets. You get to see her bond with someone she wants to fight free and true to form. I say the writers did their job in giving us reason to stand with Desti, make us like her beyond being the Negachin. She’s much the better half to Meggy, the Zero of Megaman X, the being our main inkling girl strives to be in the right way. Now, I wanna talk about Aeris.

Aeris was a very cool character in my eye when playing FFVII. She’s not Tifa but she still had a badass charm to her, especially in the part where she and Cloud go a rescue/date to infiltrate a brothel that held Tifa hostage by helping Cloud disguise as a woman. It slows the game down in a good way, giving us some time to know Aeris. Like Cloud, you get to feel just as attached to her, in both the story and gameplay where she is a boss when it comes to magic. She shows herself as the one that helps Cloud shed his initial machismo and is a very considerate friend while they’re on the journey to escape Midgar. She certainly has more of a character than what most of the images on Google would make you believe. I’d say like with Aeris, the anime arc subtly make you invested in Desti. And like Desti, it happens...

Now I can say, yeah, this shouldn’t make sense. But really, as much sense as I wanted to wrap my brain around why this shouldn’t have happen, this emotionally got me every time. I say what makes this work, what makes Desti’s death worked, comparative to the previous mentioned, is how it worked it’s way both before and after the moment. For Aeris, you can feel the weight of her loss in our main characters in the story and in the gameplay where with her gone, it’s pretty hard to fill the void of what she excelled at. Put that with what we got to see of her which makes the loss all the more shocking. Which makes Cloud avenging her with his final conquering over Sephiroth all the more cathartic. Now I’m not saying Desti’s death had as much intentional thematic development as Aeris’s, but when you take into account how it is structurally, especially the aftermath, the oomph of it all feels just as real, feels respectfully impactful for what it did.

But before I get to my main point, I wanted to address another point against this case where “SMG4 was supposed to just be a comedy like Spongebob and such, this totally goes against that tonally.” Which, I don’t know what else to say beyond “Did we watch the same show?” I can understand not liking the 2nd half of the anime arc writing wise, but it’s not like the arc turned everything into a whole different show all together. We weren’t getting some Heavy Rain type melodrama shit, the tone of the 2nd half was clear, the objectives were there. It wasn’t that heavy-handed, it wasn’t that serious, they didn’t sacrifice the comedy all together for some oscar-bait Gotham brooding bullshit. A dumbass Monkey like myself could understand the direction the bros were going with that arc, regardless of whether I liked it or not. It is pretty myopic to think a series like this can’t and shouldn’t be anything else beyond a skinner box type comedy, because god forbid experimenting with the stories in lieu committing to a considerable routine most of your career to keep a certain mindset happy and buttfucking numb. *sigh* I apologize. To carry on...

I’ve talked about this before, so if you want here’s a link about the funeral scene of the arc’s final episode (quick read), but I wanna say that with Desti’s passing, they treat it with respect. They have their couple of jokes, but they don’t treat it like a joke; Desti's death would’ve been a lot more insulting to me if they didn’t take it as seriously. It showed that yeah, that shit hurt, it was not expected, and we’re with the gang as we see Meggy and them send her off, guns out. We’re with the characters where all that happens and it felt... organic. Like I said before, Desti was “someone who appeared to be distant and feisty but still had a heart. Someone who was among people that [grew to] care about her, in life and death.” Whether we consider it was for shock or not, she made her impact, it hit hard in the end, and they made the moment matter in the respective time.

And like Final Space, this affected the likes of Meggy the most, a character that had the most connection to Desti than the others, all while the others respect her grieving and trauma that came with it. Moments like “Something’s Up With Meggy” and “Mario Does the Chores” show that that stuck with her for real, and they don’t treat like some sick running gag. SMG4 mentions it not long afterward but respectably knew not to dwell on it for the rest of the year until “The Grand Festival” where it comes back as a soft, yet optimistic reminder.

Now I won’t say you can’t have your issue with the arc, I have my issues with it. But to say Desti’s death was crap was to objectively ignore the effort they put into making it a solid plot point, a solid heel turn for both Desti and Meggy. To ignore that they gave us a good character to basically just feel mad that they pulled the rug from under you. And I would’ve been mad too if killing her off was done poorly, but it wasn’t. The bros didn’t make a whole masterpiece, but they did what they set out to do and I say they pulled it off well for what it was. For who Desti was.

Headcanons for @certaincolorglitter SMG6

♡ She/Her

♡ A flip -little lean-

♡ Can be a bit of a brat at times when she doesn't get what she wants, and has low patience when little but is super sweet and nice regardless.

♡ Is a pacifier user and often uses it as a soother and had a stuffy of a rabbit to keep them company.

♡ Smg6 is known to have regularation issues often needing help to walk and to guide her while little.

♡ smg6 is super playful often playing with the o the other meme guardians and being happy to have them as her cgs/sibbies.

♡ smg6 likes to play dolls with smg4 and often plays teaparty with him.

♡ with smg3, catching a ball, dress up, and hide n seek are never off the list for playtime.

♡ loves taking pictures or everything often taking pictures of her friends and herself. Vry photogenic.

♡ smg6 does have patience issues often needing a time out or a redirection on his actions nothing to serious but she is very fussy at times.

♡ princess peach her of cg was not the best to her so female cgs are not allowed with her to often out of fear of them acting like peach. Also because she's scared of being hit like in the past.

♡ She is a big Lego user, she and smg4 make big and tall Lego buildings out of joy and when their regressed and run into them when they are done.

♡ bedtime is a fuss for 3 seconds before she passes out and gets comfy with her bunny.

♡ she loves angel milk, cheese it's, and apple slices and will eat them more when little or wanting to be little as a sign over adult food.

♡ you'll see her playing with her toys at random and see her play dress up and stuff when regressed of she'll be drawing.

♡ she's a sickly sweet regressor and her cgs adore her so much often praising her. "Good girl, good angel, good job squirter, good job little one" etc to her to help her stay small.

Little desti and flip! meggy headcanons!!!

Little desti:

5-7 little age, very much a big kid regressor and has a lot of fun running around and yelling happily out loud.

She does throw a mean tantrum when she doesn't get what she wants.

She is a great prankster in her own eyes, putting whoopsie cushions or scarying people just running around hiding before popping out saying boo!

Very playful regressor and just wants to have fun. She uses sidewalk chalk a lot to draw hopscotch and to draw flowers, etc.

She has splatguns made for little kids, nothing compared to her main splatgun, but she adores it and often shoots meggy for fun during playdates.

She isn't a pacifier user, she uses sippy cups and blankies. She has a red velvet blanket she takes everywhere it's her calm down blanket.

She had a white and brown spotted dog as ur comfort stuffed animal and a crow plushie she has when she plays pirates.

She is very creative and often times plays pretend if she's not intrecating with her caregiver or friends.

Very much needs to take naps. She gets very fussy if not given naps at the hour. Oftentimes, she will just slump over when little and fall asleep whenever exhausted.

She is a big kid meal eater, mashed potatoes are her favorite, she loves egg salad sandwiches or pbnj, chips and salad she is a big salad fanatic.

She does stomping from time to time whenever upset, but stops when told to at least 3 times.

Queen of the playground loves the playground runs around the entire thing 4 times before going down slide, monkey bars, and digging for treasure in the sand box.

I do think her eyes get really big when regressed and are a big sign that she is small. Also, she'll very much get her voice more whiny before she even noticed.

She wears big kid clothing like t shirts and pants, mostly just shorts and tank tops. But for bedtime, she does regress to 5 and often wears onesie or matching pajama sets.

Switch meggy (caregiver)

Meggy is her 2nd caregiver.

She plays with desti shooting child sized guns paint guns at her or playing hide n seek with her.

She makes sure desti gets her naps in and has seen all with destis tantrums and finds them all adorable but very annoying at times when it drags on.

Not at all a stern caregiver, but she does get very bossy when desti gets grumpy with her.

She is pretty much like a big sister to desti and keeps her happy.

She buys new jammies and outfits for desti at random and buys her a good amount of toys.

She throws a sick birthday party for her little one just whole thing with a cake and all her friends.

She has a lot of fun doing desti hair, putting them in pigtails,buns,ponytails, brushing it down and out, etc. She adores her hair and loves being able to do it she thinks she looks so pretty.

Running around with her on her back giving piggyback rides.

Is the reason why desti eats her greens because she can not cook to save her life without help and will opt to make salad than to make other hard meals.

Neat freak at times but gets desti involved to learn to pick up her toys etc.

5-8 year old little

Big kid and older sister to desti when 8 years old and little sister to desti when younger than her.

Very playful and giggly, playing tag and running in puddles and mud with desti.

Picking up rocks and seashells at the beach and playing in the sand, making sandcastles. (They can not play in the water.)

Often when older helps desti put on coats and jackets and does her hair to her best ability and desti always loves the charms and hair lips pins she puts in her hair.

Big sticker user her entire face would be covered in stickers if it wasn't for desti taking then off her face out of panic.

Very messy regressor often get hurt while little by accident and needing bandages.

She likes soft foods a lot and eats mashed potatoes and smoothie bowls a lot.

Candy eating loves showing her tongue that is green or blue from candy. Has a treat jar because of good behavior.

Angst headcanon//

Meggy would regressor more when desti did die in canon and would become very emotional when regressed.

Getting very emotional and upset when little hearing destis name or seeing her toys or blankie or stuffed animals.

Oftentimes, the day she died, she died, crying when little to desti, saying she missed her sister.

And when in caregiver space have very bad empty nest syndrome and feel overly upset that she doesn't have a little.

She would often take 4 when regressed to caregiver or mario to caregive for when she is ij caregiver space like this. They both don't mind at all but it did scare them a few time when she did this.
