Since there's emori daisybells

How do you think daisybells would work in the little mari au?

Unfortunately, daisybells would not work in the little mari au without some adjustments— Basil would have to be older, so Flower could complete the age swap too. However, if Basil were the same age as Sunny and Kel, I imagine it’d look something like this;

Flower in headspace wouldn’t be a party member, but would probably be running around all the time, getting distracted by pretty flowers or butterflies etc. She is often found running towards Mari and the party, trying to catch up!! Although this Flower is more energetic and extroverted due to being the younger sibling this time around, she is still very caring and worried about her loved ones. She carries lots of of water bottles and juice to add to Mari’s inventory- she doesn’t want anyone getting dehydrated!! She very clearly has a crush, but she never acts on it. She doesn’t know how to flirt even in Mari’s dreams lol

In Faraway, Flower would probably start a book club. Presumably no one joins, but she tries to invite Mari anyways! Even if it’s just the two of them, Flower is desperate to reconnect- and what better way than through shared interests? Mari won’t open the door, so it ends up with Flower always making an extra copy of whatever she’s reading to leave on the front porch with a sticky note. Flower hears the piano every night, which she finds comforting since it proves she’s still alive. When Mari does eventually come outside though, Flower would immediately try to cling to her side, showing her all the changes she’s missed, asking lots of questions, and trying to buy her lots of food and treats and what not around town hoping it’ll make her stay.

Although of course Flower couldn’t be canon due to pre-set ages and also the fact she’s not real, (lol), this was fun to think about and draw, so thank you very much for the suggestion!

I’ve updated the character sheets for Rainy Day AU, since I felt my art has improved since I made them lol (you can find the original sheets here and the other place sheets here)

Individual characters under the cut!

This is an OMARI au, with some of my own little ideas. It also takes inspiration from zipsunz's little mari AU.

the premise of this AU is that the incident never happened. sunny was stressed out and considered it, but his fear of upsetting his friends and mari overruled it.

because of this, the recital still happens! it goes okay. Sunny's twelve so nobody expected him to be mozart, so it really didn't matter to most people that he made mistakes. Kel even worked up the courage asked him out afterwards! Everything seems to be perfect, until they get home.

mari is upset that sunny didn't do well. back at the house, they get into a one-sided shouting match at the top of the stairs that ends exactly as how you expect. aubrey, who planned to come over for a sleepover that night, witnesses the fight. her choice of cover up is the same as basil's in canon

the ships in this are rosemari and suntan. hero and mari aren't necessarily a couple anymore, but they never really broke up, so it's kinda complicated. they still very much have feelings for each other, but mari's guilt and hero's closeness to sunny make things difficult.

I really like the idea of the OMARI au and the two MARI's interactions

Hai just some random headcanons n infos of my omari au, enjoy this shet ton of texts and cringe- (⁠•⁠ ⁠▽⁠ ⁠•⁠;)

•this au takes place where autumn season is almost coming. Instead of hanging out usually with the friend group, Both Mari and Sunny focused on their recital but whenever sunny practices he doesn't seem to be improving, he gets very upset and frustrated and he's downing himself, it doesn't help his lingering mental health.

•The friend group visits the Sachiko siblings, to support them and just checking in or maybe, have sleepovers and movie nights if not busy.

•Mari plays the piano very well, her tutor doesn't quite have a problem with teaching her anything, she adapts it very fast. Sunny on the other hand still takes tutor sessions, slow learner but atleast hes not quiting (spoiler alert he did..)

•their parents especially their father always compare sunny to Mari..

•Sunny noticed that his parents always gives Mari lots of attention, when she feels frustrated they always try to calm her down. when she feels sad they always try to find a way to cheer her up. They do sometimes do all that to him but not a lot, despite that he just tries to not care at all, although, there's a bit hint of sadness and anger he feels inside but he will never hate his big sister for that, she's literally perfect.

•Sunny always put his feelings aside for other people, he always put others first than himself. He never knows when someone is taking advantage of him, like walking over him like a dirty rug.

•He feels miserable and also worthless, at some point, he wishes to sleep and never woke up, maybe disappear. He doesn't know why it was never good enough? He tries to study to get good grades, tries to be friends with other people. But still it was never enough for them.

•The friend group never notices there's something wrong with Sunny not until He starts to distance himself from the group but some of them tries to talk to him. Sunny would still talk to them but not much. They assume he's tired from his practice or just tired which they understand, for basil tho, he feels like there's more to it than that.

•Basil is most affected by the way Sunny's behaving. He shouldn't think too much about it but it's been months n weeks he's acting like that, he make a attempt for sunny to open up to him but alas nothing, he doesn't want to make it look like he's forcing him, he always let Sunny know that he will be always there and ready to listen to him.

• Kel is the same as the og but he's sad inside, he's close to sunny not the way Basil and sunny are but sunny is his first friend from the neighborhood. He just guess that Sunny's not in the mood or he's just sad, that's why he tries to make him smile maybe a chuckle from him.

•Aubrey doesn't understand why Sunny's like that, he doesn't hangout with them, she knows that it's because of his tutor sessions with the violin. She's a bit upset but she tries to be more understanding than being angry.

•Hero as the big bro of the group, hes sorta like fixer, especially when a little fight happens with aubs and kel, "Maybe he's tired, we shouldn't bother him". He'll cook some food to the group maybe bake some sweets that sunny likes, in effort to make him feel better also for Mari ofc.

•Mari, they thought she knows what's going on with sunny because shes his big sister and she supposed to know what's going on with him. She does have (a bit) toxic positivity and always aims for perfection, she's a good sister tho but she just doesn't look too deeply on what's happening with sunny.

She didn't realize their parents act differently towards him and it's slowly making him break..

"Oh, you just need a bit of rest, lil bro"

"Come on, i know you can do better than that!"

"Hehe mom and dad are excited for our recital even our friends!!"

"I want everything to go perfectly"

Maybe, if she only did none of this would ever happened...

•Sunny, Please wake up!! WAKE UP!!

She begans panicking and tears streaming down on her face.

"I-I M SORRY!! Please.."

"Don't worry you'll be okay.. the ambulance will arrive and you'll wake up in a hospital and everything will be okay.. so please.. don't leave us.. don't leave me.."

The sounds of the ambulance are getting closer.

•Basil secretly likes sunny more than best friends, he's oblivious and thinks that "well, he's my best friend ofc" He sorta talks about this feeling with Polly and his grandma (?). She's like "sweetie, i think you have a crush". He realizes he loved him when he's gone but why did he realizes that when the owner of this feelings are gone?

•Also the sunflower necklace he's wearing sunny gave it to him on his bday, the handmade tulip hairclip he's wearing tho, he's supposed to give it to sunny after the recital but ermm.. idk.. good luck with that..

• Why did you do it?? Why?? Why Sunny?..

Please.. i can't-

He begans to sob uncontrollably while his best friend's unconscious body lay on the bed while waiting for the ambulances arrival.

He feels his whole world fall down..

PURSUITSWAP/OMARI PURSUIT AU

uh so like this is gonna be incoherent. but. Pursuit au but it's the Omari timeline? If that even makes sense?

So Mari takes the place of Hero (Insidious bastard role)

Hero takes Kel's role (Looking for the one that's been taken)

Kel is in Sunny's role (Little sibling that gets kidnapped)

And Sunny is in Mari's role (Dead. Womp Womp.)

Basil and Aubrey can swap, cuz that's what happens in Omari usually.

Keith gets gender swapped, cuz theres no characters to swap with him lol (he's Mari's friend instead of Hero's this time).

Obviously the character relationships and motives will be different this time around. Maybe Omori swap with the hallucination Mari from the og? But like. Mari hallucinating with the motive I have for her seems kinda. Off? IDK the idea just popped into my head, I'm probably not gonna elaborate.

WIPs and abandoned projects (March 2021-December 2023)

The song playing in the intro and outro is Dianthus Nardiformis from the Dreaming Mary OST.

19: March 2021. Okay so this one's not actually a work in progress. I made this on my 19th birthday, the joke being that the singer just says 19 then it ends. I think I thought it was kinda dumb so I didn't end up actually posting it. Also features a sona I had before Cress that I never really got attached to, so she was barely used. Song is 19 by Old 97's.

Lonely Holiday: July 2021. This has the honor of being the first OMORI mv I ever attempted. I started this on a whim while bored out of my mind dogsitting for a couple weeks, and I kinda just lost interest in it. Dunno if I'll go back to it. Song is Lonely Holiday by Old 97's.

Numb: July 2021. Another one I started while dogsitting, and another one I kinda just lost interest in, but I absolutely want to revisit it someday because it's an idea I've had for a while and still really want to do. Song is Numb (Linkin Park Cover) by Robyn Adele Anderson.

The Artist: December 2021. I stopped working on this one because doing everything manually frame-by-frame got really annoying and I started to hate working on it. I dunno why I did the zoom in manually but it looks bad, lol. The entire MV would have been just this verse of the song because I thought it really fit Basil and Omori. Tbh I still like how this looks and I may come back to it. Song is The Artist by The Hush Sound.

Higher: February 2022. It's the animation meme. I actually posted this wip a while ago but I'm still gonna include it here for completion's sake. This was really just storyboard practice, so I don't have much of an interest in completing it beyond this. It's Omori Strikers AU (my omori x persona 5 crossover au) and it's basically about Omori's identity issues due to being Sunny's Shadow. The quality's really bad on this one, for some reason iMovie refused to export it in a higher quality than this, I don't know why. Song is High by SIVIK.

Little Sunbeam: February 2022. This MV would have centered on the omari au, and beyond this it'd switch to Mari's pov and take on different palettes. Doing that text effect made working on this very annoying and would make my art program lag a lot so I lost interest in working on it. I might revisit this one, though I'd have to rework the original idea I had now that my perception on the common omari au has changed lol. Song is Little Sunbeam by Eleisha Eagle.

Nightmarish: April 2022. This MV would technically be a remake of one I made in 2020. Same song, same color palette, but with a completely new media. Part of wanting to work on this is wanting to spread Dreaming Mary propaganda cause I love it and I think people who like OMORI will like Dreaming Mary as well. Also I love this song. I definitely wanna go back to this one at some point. Song is Nightmarish from the Dreaming Mary OST.

Keep You Safe: July 2022. Like Higher I also posted this wip before but will still include it here. I absolutely want to go back to this one someday because I still really like the idea I have for it. Fun fact, for those who remember this piece, that was based on this MV, but it's not like you can tell based on what's shown here. Song is Keep You Safe by The Crane Wives.

Four Walls: August 2022. Amnesiac Omori MV, what would have been his youtube introduction if I hadn't stopped working on it and then made When Am I Gonna Lose You. I think I kinda just lost interest in this one, though I wanna go back to it at some point I think. Song is Four Walls (The Ballad of Perry Smith) by Bastille.

Someone Gets Hurt: January 2023. Amnesiac omori again babey!! Animatic that would have taken place after he regains his memories, where he's basically really angry and lashes out at Sunny and Stranger. Might revisit this one. Song is Someone Gets Hurt (Reprise) from the Mean Girls musical.

Uhh some shitpost: February 2023. Silly thing, it's a shame I stopped working on it before it actually got to the main funny part. I dunno if I'll go back to this one. Audio from @/tylergaca on twitter.

Jealous: March 2023. Animation meme. It would've been about Sunny and Mari in my pmd au and the leadup to the incident. It took me a while to get that second shot right and I still really don't like it. Do wanna revisit this one cause I love angst surrounding these two so much I love them in pmd au GRAHHH. Song is Jealous by Eyedress (slowed down).

Stranger lipsync test: May 2023. This was way too difficult as a lipsync test so I gave up on it, though I still like the animation for it. Also this is a pretty good contender for headcanon voice for Stranger I'll be real. Audio is from Persona 5 Royal.

Propaganda: August 2023. Amnesiac omori au storyboard that I do actually wanna make into a completed thing. This is very spoilery so my master plan is to not explain what's happening. Muah hah hah >:3c. Also once again iMovie exported this in a really bad quality for some reason. Song is Propaganda by Kill J.

Alter's Rant: December 2023. One more amnesiac omori animatic for the road. Once again it's really spoilery but it's basically Alter and Omori's final confrontation. I have more done than what's shown here but I wanna keep it a surprise for when I finish it, which should hopefully be soon >:3c. Also this one also got hit by iMovie's low quality curse. Song is Eva's Rant from Bring It On The Musical.

Omari Au Headcannon (based around an Au where Sunny commits Oyasumi):

At some point, Mari attempted to destroy her piano in the aftermath of Sunny's death. Mari ridden with guilt and anger, grabbed her father's Axe, and entered the piano room.

There, Mari begins chopping down on the piano, realizing all the pent-up Rage she held back. She was angry at herself for letting a "Stupid" instrument take over her life and for prioritizing her Perfectionism over her little brother's well-being, which in turn led to Sunny doing what he had to do.

Her parents stopped her and tried their best to comfort her, She was unsuccessful in destroying the piano but she did rough it up pretty badly. after the incident, Mari's parents compromise on moving the piano to the garage just so Mari could have some peace of mind, while Mari threw out everything related to music in the garbage no longer wanting to play music again and not wanting anything to do with them.

On Headspace, some enemies take the form of musical notes or instruments throughout the world that Hikki and the Headspace gang fight upon encounter, representing Mari's hatred towards music now.

This is an Omari AU headcanon I really like, with the result of Mari’s perfectionism leading to her hating music all together as it was the result of Sunny’s death.
