Mikey and Leo episode centered around Mikey wanting to push Leo and Draxum together since Leo’s the most reluctant to give Draxum any grace (for good reason!) But, thinking on the spot, Leo says he’s gotta go do something for Hueso and “just can’t hang out right now 😔” (yes, he says the emoji out loud.)

Mikey calls his bluff and now the three of them (Mikey having grabbed a weary Draxum along) go to Hueso’s to find that yes, he actually does have a job for him. Said job asks for Leo to go with Hueso to deliver multiple pizzas to this giant yokai quite a distance away, and Hueso figured it would probably go better with Leo’s help (emphasis on probably.)

Well, Mikey decides that this would be a great bonding opportunity for them and basically invites he and Draxum along. Unfortunately for Leo, Hueso doesn’t care enough to wave away more help, though he does side-eye the wanted criminal Baron Draxum coming with them. But who is he to judge? (This choice has consequences.)

The journey goes about as terribly as you’d expect, but at least the pizzas get delivered on time.

I'm ngl, I know it's a really small thing compared to the glaringly obvious villainy his dad has showcased, but I love how well the pizza episode conveys Dev's emotional neglect without it technically coming up at all

Little dude is rich af and nobody has ever told him about dairy alternative pizza??? Look at that face, there's probably tears of joy behind those shades ffs.

And personally I feel like that's a bit of a recurring thing with his wishes too, like he knows he's got the power to get the things he wants, but as insufferable as he is sometimes he may have been conditioned out of "being a problem" via "overly specific" requests.

Kind of like Cookie's "wish granting" style, he gets "the best" (read: most expensive) thing and then expected to shut up and stay out of the way

I have a lot of fun drawing people's requests, no matter what it is (with some exceptions of course). I'm very sorry to leave you hanging with this ask for a while. i’m late to finishing this up & it’s technically wednesday where i am right now but it’s still gotta be tuesday somewhere so! this counts for goofy gas tuesday, don’t it?

anyhow, it’s been a rough week for me so i wanted to draw billy bob & looney singing one of my favorite songs they do: i will. something about it is just really comforting to me. also, of course, i just adore these 2, so ya know i had to hop on goofy gas tuesday for this! hope to be on time next week tho lol
