#who the heck would choose mothballs over lavender or cedar or similar ???#does anyone *actually* like how mothballs smell?#anyone thinking of making a moth-balls joke gets whacked w a moth-infested pillow#a pillow brawl sound like so much fun actually 🥲#no clue if moths got into our stuff when we moved or while in storage#but this appartment is worse the more anyone looks at it#seen 1 roach#a handful or 2 of silverfish#2 or three of those millipede-fake eyelash hybrid-looking guys#litterally scared to test air quality for mold just keep propagating English ivy and snake plant and other air cleaners#ivy helps reduce airborn mold and grows on our building#and my goldfish aquarium lol#bugs and mold likely come in from gaps where foundation shifted#no bats yet thank glob#they roost between the balcony and building roof gap#neighbor had one get in years ago#won’t go into the rest of the stuff it’s all just amature cheap renovation work#litterally pained over the issues but clearly not w the right paint#or who knows paint might not be the solution to damp infrastructure im no expert idk
