From a 2022 portrait session with the amazing @antoniavqu at Studio Fugazi. Make up and hair @meiko_monteiro_muah, general assistance, support and driving @zoe.ak47. Scan of Selenium toned wet lith print. Printed on Foma Retrobrom 152 using ANSCO 79B developer. No digital post processing of any kind except some dust spotting and a minor global contrast adjustment to match the physical print.

De lith ontwikkelaar was een beetje uitgeput waardoor er in het beeld een soort vlekjes ontstaan. Gebuisd in de lithklas dus, maar ik vind het wel iets hebben, de vlekjes voegen iets…

From the archives: a reprint (September 2023) of the wonderful Rebecca Perry on an Ibisian beach taken in the spring of 2019. Who needs colors if you can get tones like this? Scan of a traditional darkroom lith print. No digital post processing of any kind except some dust spotting and a minor global contrast adjustment to match the physical print. Printed on Fomatone MG Classic 131 (pre 2022 paper base), developed in ANSCO 130, bleached with Copper Sulfate, redeveloped in fresh ANSCO 70 and, finally, toned in Selenium.

Urlaub im Land der Bauernkriege. Dez 2023

Ich seh schon, daß ich im Ruhestand meine Zeit damit verbringen werde, kitschige Lith-Prints von irgendwelchen Feenwäldern anzufertigen. Wenn es dann überhaupt noch lithprint-fähiges Papier gibt.

Zeitgemäß wäre das Bildchen, wenn jetzt noch irgendeine Tiefdekolletierte im Moos sich räkelte. War aber grad keine zur Hand während meines Spazierganges.

Vielleicht leben wir in 10 Jahren ja schon im Mittelalter zweinull. Und das Volk vertreibt sich die Zeit damit, irgendwelchen Hinrichtungen beizuwohnen oder dümmlichen Zeigefinger-Predigern zu lauschen. Damit, den Enthauptungen von irgendwelchen armen Säuen zusehen, die während der Gebetszeit beim Musikhören erwischt wurden oder so.

Und ich auf meine alten Tage werde damit befaßt sein, im Untergrund die Résistance zu organisieren – gegen die Schlächter. Gegen die Ikonoklasten, die mir das Bildermachen verbieten wollen.

Ich, der alte Ikonodule.
