Hiya! so I'm almost to the end of LITG S8, I hope you don't mind that I've popped in, an ask of yours was the most recent post.

Ok so, I feel like S8 is still one of the better new app seasons compared to the rest that's come out maybe S4 coming right after, every other season seems so forgettable and boring my god.

I do have a few qualms with S8 though like how MC is kept out of the loop on almost everything at least in S1-S3 they gave us a little something and s4-s7 MC couldn't stop being in the centre of the drama, but now it just feels like if you're not spending money on the game you don't know what the fuck is going on in the villa. Like at least in S1-S3 you could get through the storyline and paying for little extra scenes but now it's so infuriating, I'm on a Jin route and the whole Sienna situation looks so fucking odd if you don't spend gems to find out what went on, it really does look like Jin was being a cheating hoe ass skank the whole time until she left.

And secondly omg I was so sick of Emel's bullshit like first I dumped Sophie and Jack and then Emel acts like she has a stick up her ass the whole time and it just gets so dragged out and boring, and her and Oakley are not compatible at all 🙄 it's like fusebox is just trying to make a character equivalent to Jo from S2 but it's just not working because all this "antagonist" characters are just so one-dimensional and extremely and insufferably boring and bitchy with nothing else about them, same with LIAM omg like you could never be Jakub honey, Arlo and Ivy too like omg it makes the game so hard to sit through.

Apart from that I still think S8 is one of the better ones. Fusebox hit the jackpot with S2 and have been trying to replicate it (and failing) ever since.

but yeah sorry for a long one, I just needed to express all the issues I have with Fusebox and their obvious attempts at cash grabbing

oh absolutely. season 8 had some good qualities but a lot of it was still absolute garbage. the biggest gripe i had was that you’re forced to stick with the same partner for majority of the game whereas with previous seasons (s1-6) you could switch around.

SUMMARY: The Ministry of Sound are throwing a party in the Villa, and there are some surprises on the guest list… A secret kiss… causes chaos.

You sway your hips right, stand on your toes, and raise your arms after a few steps and finger snaps. Placing your palm over your heart to express the emotion of the lyrics. While swaying your hips side to side, your arm and fingers reflect your thoughts as they reach towards him. You roll your body smoothly and rhythmically from your head to your hips. You maintain a playful and confident attitude while dancing, matching the upbeat and sultry vibe of the song. You slowly run your hands down your body from your shoulders to your hips, keeping it sensual.

Villa entrance: Another jeep pulls up to the Love Island Villa. A stunning blonde yelled "Woo-hoo!" swinging her arms above her head. She squealed with excitement. She jumped out of the red jeep as soon as it stopped. She quickens her pace as she approaches the front door in an effort to keep up with the tall and muscular boy who is walking next to her. He asked, “You okay?”

She had a smile that conveyed both excitement and nervousness at the same time, and she said, “Ooh, yeah, I’m really scared. I was like, ‘Oh, my god, I’m gonna trip over.” The pretty blonde girl latches onto his muscular arm, and he laughs. Not a quiet laugh—a booming one as they walk out onto the stone terrace.

Garden: Bobby cried out loudly, “Why did the music stop?” The dancing immediately stops, and smiles vanish from everyone's faces.

You hear footsteps approaching. A guy says something… 

Lottie declared, “Sounds like a new boy.”

…and then a girl answers, “Babes, this place… Oh, my goodness, gracious. Great balls of fire. I might faint.” 

Marisol chimed in, “And a girl?”

Love Island introduction Montage: Chelsea

The screen behind her displays her Instagram feed in rapid succession. Chelsea looks at the screen and giggles. “Hi, everyone! I'm Chelsea. I'm a 24-year-old interior designer from Buckinghamshire." She flashed a grin. “I've been single now for about three years. I’m wanting to have a really fun summer.”

“I've got a lot of energy, so I will be bouncing and dancing my way around the Villa!” She laughs.

"What am I like in the bedroom? Oh! Em! Gee! My mums watching, seriously.” Her nose wrinkles up in disgust. “Well, I am quite fun and spontaneous in my life. That’s all I’m saying.”

Love Island introduction Montage: Jakub

“I’ve been single now for about 6 months,” Jakub gives a flirty wink and chuckles. “I’m into fitness, so I want someone who shares similar hobbies. Looks wise: fit, and I like athletic girls. Long legs and a nice, rock-hard bum. Hair - I love that balayage look, girls are very impressed when I say that!”

When asked to describe himself in bed, he responds with a sly grin, "If I had to describe myself in bed, it would be... magnificent. I give her what she wants.”

"What makes me the perfect Islander?" He smiles a mischievous grin. "The guys need an alpha male, and I feel like that's me. The girls have Lottie, who says it how it is, but the lads are all like little sheep."

henrik. it's canon he was invited to be part of one. i would add and say he would look really good on the fashion type of campaign, instead of giving functionality he's giving mostly face.

ibrahim. he has the face and the body besides the occupation. he would look EXTRA good if the campaign was something like this one from nike (1st picture).

lucas. definitely motorbike related (also canon) but i would add it's not for motorbike magazines but for jackets or boots, or even helmets. (2nd picture).

jakub. i mean, if anything i think he has already featured a bunch of those. but it's all douchey brands or pictures so i'm not excited.

gary. more gym related things like the weights and the outfits but still giving function and face.

luxury:

noah. he would look damn fine in suits and i don't take criticism. brands would've taken one look at that face and go bunkers! plus, any type of dark academia aesthetic would also fit him so well. i also think there would be lots of pictures with rahim while they model the outfits.

lucas. he's a walking billboard for good taste. besides suits i think there would be lots of high couture suits and outfits. (1st picture)

ibrahim. i would die to see him in a soft pink suit, please and thank you. but i reckon he could also pull off high couture and pose like he's dead inside, which is my favorite type of campaign (1st picture).

henrik. very editorial looks but still luxe! like milk for marc jacobs' (2nd picture). i'll even go further and say he would be incredible on the runway, and i know he's a puppy but like, he would look amazing on camera.

carl. given he's also very luxe himself (the game doesn't let it show, let's be honest!) but i think he would also get some phone calls about modeling. suits mostly.

bobby. his popularity would definitely catch the attention of a couple of brands, especially if they made him editorial as well. lots of colorful pieces and wacky poses. he would even be allowed a smile or two. AND he would look great with the eye makeup + freckles combo.

I know literally no one else cares about both Love Island the Game AND The Mangus Archives, but yall know that I (a Lily stan) exclusively make posts that will get negative notes. Also if I don’t combine my special interests I’ll die. Also also it’s spooky season. So I made some ‘The LITG islanders as TMA avatars’ edits. 

If you actually know what I’m on about or care, I put explanations below the cut

Blake: The Hunt

Blake’s intensity comes from her hunger- she wants more and is thrilled by the process of fighting for it. Attacking MC wasn’t anything personal, it was Blake clamoring for relevance and a spot in the villa. Like Hope, she’s more seduced by the dread power than tormented by it. Blake has always felt the call of the hunt, the hunger, but chalked it up to being petty and ambitious. But becoming an avatar lets her fully give into that call.

Carl: The End

Carl’s pretty basic, pretty boring, so he’s the end. I headcanon him to have a lot of catholic guilt, so of course he’s afraid of death. He’s afraid of not knowing. Plus, he’s pretty ambivalent to horror or the other fears, so the only terror he can conceptualize is dying.

Chelsea: The Dark

I don’t have a big reason for this one, I just feel like Chels is pretty basic and the classic ‘unknown lurking in the dark’ spooks her. Another episode rec- go to that link and scroll down to episode 86. Another stand alone episode that SLAPS. 

Gary: The Flesh

I will never forgive Jonny Sims for taking something so viscerally horrifying as the idea of body horror, your own flesh and meat betraying you, and reducing it to ‘lol raw meat kinda nasty, here’s a big crunchy man’. The flesh isn’t about filth or festering or conquering other people’s bodies, it’s about the horror of existing inside your own body. It’s about gender dysphoria and depersonalization and fatphobia and self hatred. I think Gary’s the only person who knows this intimately. Fighting through an ED teaches you the disgust of flesh, and that manifesting into the real world would equal parts ruin Gary as it would empower him. Gary as the bone turner? Horrifying, but relatable. 

Henrik: The Buried

I don’t really have a huge character reason for this one. Henrik likes being outside and climbing, so I imagine being trapped, claustrophobic, and unable to control his environment would really get to him. Also if you’re reading this and don’t know what the magnus archives is, stop what you’re doing right now, click on this link (http://rustyquill.com/the-magnus-archives/), scroll down to episode 15, and spend the next 26 minutes getting absolutely spooked. You don’t have to know any of the characters or storylines, it can be a stand alone episode. I think Lost Johns Cave would WRECK Henrik.

Hope: The Web

This one feels obvious. The web is all about control, subtle manipulation, and keeping tabs on everything. Hope’s greatest strength is bonding with everyone superficially to the point where they generally trust her, and her greatest weakness is that she’s so concerned about her own self interest that she’ll use that trust to manipulate people. Hope wouldn’t be devastated by the web as much as she’d be tempted- the ability to be in complete control and not ever be clocked or called out? Irresistible. 

Rahim: The Stranger

So much of his conflict is internal so I was tempted to say spiral, but it’s all ABOUT how he interacts with people. He’s horribly insecure, he feels like he doesn’t fit in or know how to communicate, and he’s happy with his interests but worried about how other people will react to them. He’s 100% tormented by the stranger. I think this would manifest at first as something victimizing him- turning everyone around him off and slightly wrong. But once he becomes an avatar, he no longer worries about being the sore thumb of the group. 

Jakub: The Corruption

This feels like low hanging fruit, but Jakub’s obsessed with perfectly waxing himself, keeping things neat and clean, and organizing things, of course he’s a corruption avatar. I think he’s closer to the bug end of the spectrum than the mold or rot end- he’s more rooted in disgust than anything else.

Lottie: The Extinction

I was tempted to go with the desolation for Lottie, because obviously all the hot fire ladies, duh. But I don’t think Lottie fears the desolation, the untamed consumption, enough to indulge in the dread power. She loves blowing issues up and adding more fuel and gossip to make it worse because she loves the game, but deep down, I think she’s afraid to consider what comes AFTER conflict. So much of her friendships are outlined by ‘girl code’- she needs to have established rules for how to interact with people and is always ready to pull receipts of past behavior. So nothing would terrify her more than all those rules, established relationships, receipts, history just… Disappearing. As much as Lottie loves to feed into conflict, she cannot conceive of a world post-conflict where there’s no one to fight with and nothing matters. Lottie IS the umbrella.

Lucas: The Lonely

He’s convinced himself he hates commitment and doesn’t need anyone else, but by the end of the season he’s SO happy to have found MC. My dude uses every single opportunity to avoid emotional intimacy- status, career, hobbies. He isolates himself because he feels like he has no other choice, and has convinced himself he’s happy. Also I feel like he has strong Peter Lukas vibes, a wealthy privileged man who was ignored by his family and turns to manipulating others and acting above it all to cope. 

Marisol: The Eye

Marisol is the eye, obviously. She loves looking into people’s inner lives and intentions for the sole purpose of Knowing (™) what’s going on, and has a strong need to classify the world in tangible categories. Plus, the dark academia aesthetic of the Archives? Puh lease, she would love the ‘austerity’ of the Eye. 

Noah: The Spiral

Noah drives himself crazy gaslighting himself (insisting he and Hope’s relationship is worth saving and he’s not actually unhappy) and worrying about the morality of his every action. You’re telling me he’s not trapped in a spiral within himself, failing to live in the real world because he’s so lost internally? You’re wrong. And he gets the creepy fingers to match.

Rocco: The Vast

I feel like literally everyone with depression is a vast kinnie. But Rocco’s coping mechanism of ‘oh I’m sad, time to go explore the massive wilderness alone in my truck’ is peak vast. God he would be such a good avatar too- someone you encounter in the middle of nowhere who seems welcoming but then banishes you for no reason other than daring to like him? 

Shane: The Desolation

I don’t know why this one seems so right? He just has that intensity. Like Lottie, he loves feeding into things and being involved in intense, consuming conflict. But he’s not as dependent on established norms and rules where he cannot pick up the pieces after it’s done. He’s more self-aware than that. He knows how to protect those he cares about and to weaponize conflict.

Shannon: The Corruption

Bear with me, but I think Shannon’s the opposite end of the spectrum than Jakub. Her corruption is the filth, the rot, the disease. Like the Eye, she wants to know other people’s intentions, but it’s not for the sake of just knowing like the idea, nor is it the web’s pleasure of exerting power over the will of others. She’s looking to benefit personally. So the idea of something uncontrollable, unstoppable, encroaching on her life and slowly degrading it terrifies her. Look how messy she got when Jo started changing the way the villa was ‘supposed’ to be- deep down, Shannon just desperately needs the world to be fair so she can get what she wants. But the corruption isn’t fair, isn’t escapable, and isn’t accommodating.

So yesterday I posted a Drabble I wrote for an LITG prompt ‘Illicit Affair’ here.

Buuuuut... that wasn’t the first thing I wrote for the prompt. It was actually this...

Her body was slick with sweat as she laid back on the cheap cotton sheets of the chain hotel’s bed.

He’d jumped straight in the shower. It was something he always did. She hated that she knew that.

Her phone kept buzzing and she didn’t need to look to see who it was. Didn’t want to look. The guilt of what she was doing to Carl was too strong.

So why couldn’t she stop?

Things hadn’t been perfect between them, she knew that. His inability to let go of work meant that she’d spent so many evenings alone, had dealt with the disappointment of so many cancelled dates. But he didn’t deserve this. The lies and deceit.

The cheating.

If it hadn’t been for the reunion party none of this would be happening, she was sure. That damn party, the one where Carl let her know one hour before they were due to be there that he hadn’t caught his flight. Work. Too busy. You know how it is.

She’d lost track of what she’d drunk that night. But at some point it made the man she had kept a safe distance from in the villa seem a whole lot more attractive. Nothing had happened between them that night.

Well...nothing much.

Priya had found her just in time and dragged her away. But not before the first kiss with him. And then the damage was done.

Now hotel hookups were a fortnightly event. He was so different to the other guys she’d been with. So blunt and direct. There was no fluff. No softness. But he knew his way around her body like no one else she’d been with. He was addictive. His own body was so unlike Carl’s. His huge bulky build should have made her feel safe. But nothing made her feel as safe as Carl’s arms wrapped around her.

Tears threatened to arrive and she quickly shook the thought out of her head. This wasn’t the place to think about Carl. It was too awful. Not with Jakub in the next room.

She heard the shower turn off and he appeared in the doorway, a tiny towel wrapped around his waist. His tongue was sticking out to one side. He thought it looked sexy.

Sadly he wasn’t wrong.

She felt something stirring inside her again and as he walked over to the bed she reached out and grabbed the top of the towel, pulling him towards her. The towel slipped off and he climbed on top of her and grinned before saying “Ready for round two then babe?” She closed her eyes in shame.

Because she absolutely was.

Rating the girls out of 10 because I’m bored

Lottie - she acted pretty immaturely with the Rocco situation. I get her being upset but then she also kissed Gary behind Rocco’s back, so? She looks out for her girls quite a lot. I struggled with her on the Noah route because she, like everyone else, dismissed MC’s feelings quite a lot. Equally though, when she find out about MC kissing Noah on that route she doesn’t just turn her back on MC. She says fanny flutters. Her gem scenes with the tea leaves and such is worth it, in my opinion. If you tell her you want to share a bed with Kassam in Casa Amor (I did this on my Noah route so had no luck with him but just wanted to try it out), she actually didn’t mind. If you’re with Rocco when he’s cracking on with Marisol, she 100% has MC’s back too which is nice. 9/10, because depending on routes she can have her flaws.

Hope - so, on non-Noah routes (disclaimer: I mostly do these because I don’t want Lurik to choose me at disaster recoupling), I’m usually close friends with her. Even after my last route where MC kissed Noah, she was actually still nice to MC after Casa Amor. I don’t really like her possessiveness of Noah; I get her being mad about the Priya/MC kiss. But I’m talking about from day one where you can’t even flirt with him without her frowny faces. If you’re on a Noah route, she completely dismisses MC feelings about him in Casa? Which I kind of understand her not being on board with the coupling, but that doesn’t mean MC can’t have feelings. Tbh I think her and Noah aren’t compatible at all but that’s for another post. She’s quite bossy a lot of the time, but with good intention - like on girls day out, I think she was just trying to keep the peace and have a day without drama. Um, don’t agree that she’s Posh Spice. She stole that title. 4/10 - I can’t deal with her day one possessiveness of Noah.

Marisol - Marisol fans are going to hate me for this. I don’t like her character that much. It annoys me when she constantly analyses everyone - I get it because it’s where her passion lies but it’s just so much sometimes. Especially in Casa Amor, like I really don’t care about those boys and I don’t care who’s genuine and who isn’t - I’m leaving them where the fuck they are lmao. It was kinda snakey for her to go behind Lottie’s back with Rocco but she did say when she first came in she wasn’t going to let anyone stand in her way of having a chance of love. I just don’t believe that she’s the shortest girl?? Obviously they did that for her and Graham to have that kiss but she doesn’t look like she would be short. Her fingers creep me out. HOWEVER, if you kiss Noah, she won’t pass any judgement and seems to be impressed that MC made a pass at Noah. Once she comes back from Casa Amor with Graham, she sort of disappears? Like where was she when they were building a den. 7/10

Original Hannah - I liked her, her character was sweet which was refreshing. All she needs to do is pull her head out of Lottie’s ass. I think if she stayed, her and MC would have actually become closer than her and Lottie. 8/10

Returning Hannah - so like, whilst I’m here for glow ups I do feel like the message to Hannah (and maybe younger girls) was “change yourself to be liked”. Saying that, as the days go on, her old self starts to show a lot more. Like when she says “erotically charged” instead of horny. I would have preferred Priya to return. 5/10

Priya - QUEEN. She has to steal your man but that’s okay, you can easily get him back. Let’s say it’s Bobby, for example, if you speak to him on the night your single for grafting, when she comes over she quotes Mean Girls and isn’t annoyed at you for flirting - she understands that it’s the first few days and it’s how Love Island works (take notes, Hope, who gets jealous when Noah comes to keep MC company). I feel bad for the backlash she gets in ON, especially if it’s MC who ended up kissing Noah and not her. She’s pretty goofy and playful and I love that about her, because with the way they made her and her age you would expect something else. Negatives?? Um... Yeah, I can’t think of any? Maybe ON but that’s not just her. Then she wants MC to win, so easily 10/10.

Chelsea - I HAVE SO MUCH LOVE FOR HER. Best friend, bra sister, would couple up with her if I could. She becomes MC’s best friend the minute she comes into the Villa and I feel like she’s always there for her, no matter what. With characters like Lottie and Hope, sure they have you’re back - as long as you’re not flirting with their man, or in some cases if you dare speak to them alone. Chelsea is always interested in whoever MC is coupled up with after Casa Amor, but if MC really wants to be with that person she doesn’t stand in the way. She does recouple with someone different quite a lot but she came in late, when everyone was pretty much settled into their couples, so I think she just found it hard to find someone. I don’t like that I had the option to suck her toe in Casa Amor but not share a bed with her. Fuck those Casa Amor guys, I want to share a bed with Chelsea - heck, I’d even share a bed with her in a Villa when they’re not happy in their couples (her with Gary, MC with whoever she saved for example). She made up a secret handshake with MC and I love that??? I don’t blame her for the drama around the Jo kiss - sure, she shouldn’t have blurted it out to the girls but Elisa should have never told her in the first place and when it all came out, Jo should have admitted to it. So I don’t judge her on that. She assigns Spice Girls to her friends and will perform a Spice Girls song with MC if you choose that option. She’s one of the funniest characters in there and I want her to be real so she can be my best friend. Easily 10/10.

Shannon - so I hated Shannon at first. Anything Casa Amor related, I hated it. But after getting more into LITG and seeing stuff on here, I ended up loving her. I don’t like her “game plan” type of approach to getting Ibrahim that much but it worked for a while. My biggest problem with her character is her not confronting Ibrahim about the kiss because that argument just dragged on so much. Equally, he could have owned up to it so it’s not entirely on her. She wasn’t a bitch to the Villa girls when they came back from Casa Amor (looking at you, Blake). There have been occasions where she’s called MC a people pleaser (r u d e) but so has Jo, so I won’t judge her on that. 8/10, would have been higher but I can’t be fucked with the Ibrahim and Jo kiss drama.

Blake - don’t have anything nice to say about her. On the Noah route, she practically begged him to bring her into the villa by saying it would be the safest option and I think she did the same with Lurik. She saw the boys were a mess after seeing the video and took advantage of that. She fakes being nice - if you’re nice to her, she’s still a bitch in the finale. Don’t waste your gems being nice. When you first meet her she instantly insults MC? Yeah -4/10 and I can only use this gif to conclude how I feel about her

Elisa - honestly there’s not much for me to say about her. For some reason she’s MC friends and will miss MC the most? Didn’t even feel that close to her. The kiss drama was annoying as hell and she should have told Shannon. Then she came at my girl Chelsea? CANCELLED. I want to burn her clothes, more specifically her sleepwear. Yeah I don’t think there’s much to say because I feel like I don’t care about her that much anyway? 3/10

Jo - first things first, PUT THAT TONGUE AWAY OR GO AND TONGUE JAKUB. The drama she caused was so fucking unnecessary, just admit to the kiss. She’s usually the one that calls MC a people pleaser so I want to deck her for that. I don’t understand why Ibrahim asked her to be his girlfriend after like 3 days? How does that make sense? She’s fucking rude when it comes to the shopping trip “who died and make you two king and queen—“ no one yet, hun, but it can be arranged. Don’t feel sorry for her when she melts her dolls voice box. Oh and if you let her go shopping, she basically only brings back nachos and nothing else which is dumb. Sometimes I want to feel sorry for her because she gets off to a bad start but honestly she’s pretty rude. 1/10.

when and what made you decide to make a litg blog?

well i’ve had a choices blog for months, and it originally started as a choices/litg blog, but choices updates year round, so i strayed away from litg. and after a lot of choices books went on hiatus/new updating books weren’t really my favorite, i made a litg sideblog solely so that i could shitpost my replay of s2 and also create a space that i could freely post ab s3 without annoying people who followed me for only choices content! plus i want to write more fics and there’s a great community of writers in the litg fandom so :)

opinion on s3 art design?

i like it personally. i think with the way fb releases their games (not year round, just annually for a couple of months), we’re always going to see the art and character design evolve over time. people can be as shallow as they want ab it, but im going to give the characters the benefit of the doubt bc i know they could make ugly characters that i could fall in love with because of their personalities 

do you watch any litg playthroughs?

only cody ko and noel miller ! that’s how i downloaded the game and started playing sometime between season 1 and 2 

have you made any friends in the litg fandom?

yes ! i’ve made friends with people that are both casual players and people with dedicated blogs and everyone’s so sweet !

in s1 i romanced talia and jake. then ofc i stole my king tim at the christmas special. but in s2 i’ve only been able to finish w bobby. i’ve done like half routes with lucas/carl/gary, but i just can’t finish it bc bobby. hope that doesn’t invalidate me since i have zero self control when it comes to bobby

which s2 islanders do you think didn’t like each other?

oooooh i like this one! a lot! i think i've answered this before but can't be sure, there's over 3000 posts i wrote about litg (slowly realizing it)

in my head there's lots of dynamics going around the villa even though very little evidence to prove... however, it's there, and that's all i can base these on:

hope and jo. i don't think hope likes jo at all, especially after the whole drama that was caused because of her. in hope's head communication is everything, and the fact that rahim and jo hid the kiss from everyone else, and caused that huge stir in the villa, was reason enough for her to keep her distance. you don't see hope and jo getting close ever despite their partners being best friends in there and sharing the same opinion on a lot of things.

noah and lucas. while lucas is decisive and blunt, noah is afraid of showing his true feelings. i think while operation nope happened, lucas was extremely annoyed at noah for not coming forward about his feelings towards priya or mc. the whole point of the show is also to be honest about about your next move, if that implies hitting on a person who's already cracking on with someone. noah not giving hope a heads up before talking to priya surely made lucas' blood boil. (and you can add in the fact that lucas still had a little crush on her back then).

gary and lucas. it's blatanly obvious but worth mentioning. gary immediately becomes defensive and closes off for lucas. he doesn't do with henrik and i think it's because there's a lot of himself he sees in mountain boy. i think the main difference between them is how posh lucas comes across, compared to how gary is seen. they clearly don't share the same upbringing and that might be the root of some trauma for gary. my guesses are either he was made fun of for being poor back in school, or someone chose a richer boy over him and he's still bitter about it. it's clear it has something to do with how lucas presents himself.

jo and lottie. i don't think jo ever had a soft spot for lottie. they're really different and their concerns don't meet halfway. while jo was afraid of speaking up and admitting her mistake, lottie would try to shift the blame on other people. jo didn't need to stay up rahim's ass 24/7 to get picked, while lottie only does that ever, and asserts herself quite brutally multiple times. jo might've thought lottie was too intense and lottie might've thought jo was too much of a wuss. (EVEN THOUGH LOTTIE MADE THE EXACT SAME MISTAKE, BUT THE DIFFERENCE IS THAT A TWEET REVEALED IT, AND NOT AN ISLANDER).

hannah and marisol. it's quite obvious but hear me out. toughening someone up to make them realize they're making a mistake is definitely marisol''s definition of being a friend, but it doesn't meet hannah's expectations. tough love is definitely not how the redhead likes her friends to alert or warn her. i don't think their friendship would surpass the villa gates if they had one in there.

lucas and rocco. lucas does - not - like - rocco. their ideals are different, the way they talk about love, life, respect, family. they have nothing in common at all, and to throw some log into the fire i'll go even further and say lucas might've been the only boy who spoke against rocco, instead of pretending everything was fine like the others did. it's not about the spotlight here, it's about others brushing it off because it didn't happen to them, ESPECIALLY THE BOYS. they should've had mc or lottie's back to say the least.

elisa and jo. not because of the secret per se, but jo might've thought "elisa says she's so fierce and tough but didn't have the courage to tell shannon directly. instead, she's now focusing on chelsea spreading the gossip even though she's the one who started it." usually, in the show, when two girls come in together they try to have each other's backs. even though what jo did was wrong, elisa meddled and didn't give rahim or jo the chance to come clean about it. that's how i think jo saw the whole affair anyway.

lottie and felix. while it's understandable why she doesn't like him, i think the opposite is just as true. felix might think she's too intense and uptight, as much as they have some things in common. his energy is much higher and lottie might use astrology to explain why she despises the guy. and while listening to the girl talk about tea leaves or astrological signs, felix might say something like "nah, that's all bullshit girls tell themselves to make them feel better about their shitty personality." i honestly would love watching lottie roundhouse kick felix in the teeth after that.

everyone x jakub. we know it. he might end up being the butt of the joke without realizing because he's so incredibly dense. and while the boys are "drama free" they wouldn't waste the opportunity of continuing to mess with him. if mc got with jakub she would also become a target for jokes, except she's aware of it. still, they don't like the boy at all. the girls found him hot but not a single one of them went after him. priya volunteered for the date but i think she told the girls how it went, and how dumb he comes across.
