feel bad for derailing prev post in the tags but anyone remember when someone said that mdzs was inspired by good omens and n*il g*iman. that was genuinely the wildest shit I've ever seen anyone claim in relation to that book

#1. good omens wasn't even gay. the book was homophobic and the show was gaybait #2. mxtx was not inspired to write danmei by some british scifi author??? she was inspired by priest???#and earlier than that from what I understand from japanese BL and yaoi #which all makes sense given the tropes and all #reeling to remember that. how eurocentric and sinophobic do you have to be #literally nothing in common between those books besides like. homophobia I guess. so random #cor.txt
