The thing about being a fan of classic literature is that it's becoming incredibly hard to find people to share your passion with and I just think that's super sad

fascinated by my own concepts. the only thing that io thinks ties them to 'human' is their emotions. their fears, their love, their trauma, their guilt, their joys. pleasure and sorrow. the highs and lows. beyond that... nothing? that's it. io really does consider themself something other. and to some extent they've always felt not entirely like a witch compared to other witches, either. and tie that in with sometimes having such difficulties with how that human 'guise' looks? io, I think, can have some very, very disorienting moments in their life. also, honestly, viewing io as something 'other' is not a terrible assumption to make. they don't age. they're permanently stuck at one appearance, barring scarring, for the rest of their days. and they exude something that can prickle the hair on anyone's neck especially when their magic is fully in play and not just lurking around like a trouble-making cat.

It's the way that one of Crowley's last desperate attempts to convince Aziraphale not to go is to say: 'you can't leave this bookshop'. The same bookshop that Aziraphale said was 'ours', in the same way he said 'I thought we'd carved [this peaceful, fragile existence] out for ourselves'.

It's a place that belongs to them, for all the intrusions in this series from Heaven and Hell. A place where Crowley leaves his glasses on an ornamental horse, where the tangible trail of Aziraphale's existence is scattered among the shelves, where they sit and drink themselves silly. It's the epitome of the two of them being 'us'. And it's as if he's saying to Aziraphale look around, look at everything we've built, there are the books I saved for you in 1941, you said it was ours and how can it be ours if you're not here?

It has Aziraphale's name on the front and Crowley's comfort through the door and not even a fire stopped them from getting it back so how can Aziraphale just walk away?

And in that moment, Crowley doesn't have the courage to say exactly what he's thinking, not after feeling like his entire speech has been brushed over. So, it's you can't leave this bookshop, not you can't leave me.

the stranger as torbin suggested faceclaims: dean-charles chapman a year or so after beginning her training, qimir deems osha ready for a trial. he tells her that torbin survived mae’s assasination, and leaves her to do with that information what she will. more curious than vengeful, not entirely certain she wants to kill torbin, osha follows the map to him that qimir provided. she finds torbin at a remote jedi temple, sickly and defenseless. she eliminates him where he rests, and wakes up to qimir sitting by her bed, commending her for a job well done, finally leaving behind the jedi code. i love torbin and dream sequence trope will always eat sue me.
