The first time Sonic went Super in Road Trip wasn't exactly as stunning to Tails as other au's and stories.

Tails is like maybe 5 here (I'm not actually that organized on the timeline for this au yet, I'm getting there though, things are getting in order.) and he wasn't forced to grow up and be a hero in this au. So he's a bit more childish than canon Tails because he doesn't feel as pressured to mature and grow up fast. Plus, he genuinely thinks Sonic is going to die and this is the last time he see's him, so tears are bound to come down.

phoenix wright is the kinda dude to fall asleep anywhere if he's tired enough.

miles edgeworth is the kinda guy who has to have the room at a specific temperature with 1.5 blankets on him, the right pillow(s), the pajamas with his favorite specific texture (the pink silk pajamas are for more than just looking good) and whatever specific background noise playing – sometimes video essays about the steel samurai, sometimes specific episodes of steel samurai, sometimes instrumental/steel samurai ost playlists, some specific streamers who gained popularity playing the samuraiverse cardbuilding RPG roguelike released several years ago or maybe even steel samurai asmr roleplay.

shout out to the very distinct feeling of 'oh god i'm going to become at least mildly annoying about this aren't i'. binging ds9 season 1 and i outright giggled at a very small mannerism julian did. got hyped when o'brien showed up. grinned widely at kira just Being There. felt the urge to yell and cheer and scream at the slightest hint of whump. the character dynamics and friendships are beginning to interweave like strings in a tapestry and i almost detonated upon realising this. uh oh.

usually, my friends know me as the one that connects the dots ahead of time, enough that it’s become a running gag. but I’ve got to sheepishly admit that when I watched atsv and Rio said “who’s spider-man” I LAUGHED because my first thought was “oh lol they’re doing that stereotypical parent thing where they don’t know a very very well-known celebrity” and my laugh was so obvious because everyone else was QUIET and then it hit me a second too late—

I need a story, whether it's in a SEGA game or in the IDW comics, where Tails and Cream just go absolutely ham. Like their best friends/older sibling figures get taken. Leaving Tails and Cream to figure out how to get them back. Que them (along with Cheese) kicking ass and taking names.

Like I just think that would be so entertaining to see.

modern gang thoughts of the day:

there are three different boxes of picked off salad and pickles. either someone bought extra salad (???) or everyone hates soggy lettuce and someone really doesn't like tomatoes there's a cup with something in it. options are, someone just used it to stash a fork or smth after using, OR someone drinks out of a straw, OR someone had smth that needed stirring, like tea they got, decorated napkins??? omg????? two water bottles and no soda. Lucy either banned soda cus sugar bad or they REALLY need to run groceries that's not a burnt sandwich, shadow rendering in ACB is bad speaking of, that's four burgers and two round sandwiches, which makes me think sourdough bread. very european, nice touch. four burgers and five boxes total, someone was starving and wanted seconds. at least two people seem to eat burgers with fork and knife. unhinged detail, i love them so much.

now what if I said modern!shadowcrunch’s most common occurrence is cyber getting paged in the middle of the night to help w a server crash or smth . n his insomnia makes it borderline impossible to fall back asleep when he’s finished. so when he climbs back into bed, smilk’s wide awake ready to yap about whatever he wants to since he’s well aware it helps cyber stop thinking about things & smilk’s voice works as a white noise to get cyber to fall back asleep
