It is noteworthy that no matter how accurate any translation of the meanings of the Qur’an may be, it will still fall short in conveying the transcendent meanings of the miraculous Qur’anic text, and that the meanings conveyed by this translation is only the product reached by the extent of the team’s knowledge in understanding this Sacred Book. Hence, this translation cannot be error-free, as is the case with any human endeavor.

I really need someone to explain to me why Muslims who think music is haram remove the background music then leave the lyrics...like thats not...I've said it before but like if music encourages you to do something haram (whatever that may be use your imagination) the flutes and the drumbeats are not doing that, the lyrics would???

Reminders that are applicable for not just Muslims
Islam isn't cruel, horrible, "terrorist". These are literally the teachings. Go and search it up yourself. Surah Furqan, ayah 63 and 72. Type in "25:63 quran.com" or "25:72 quran.com" in google and the results will pop up. Search it up in any reliable Qur'an you find. You'll see this is exactly what it teaches.

Among those who torment the Prophet are those who say, ‘He is just an ear’ (i.e. he will attentively listen to every person who would approach him. His enemies used the term 'ear' to mean gullible, and that he wasted time listening to what anyone had to say. Rather, it was his beautiful quality of making everyone feel so deeply heard, that his enemies thought they were successful in fooling him and wasting his time)
Say, ‘An ear that is good for you (he will take the good/truth from your speech and disregard the rest)
He has faith in God and trusts the faithful [to be truthful], and is [a] mercy for those who have faith.’
— Qur'ān, 9:61

I wish I knew how emotionally draining it is to try to conceive after a painful miscarriage. It has been almost a year since my miscarriage and the "two weeks wait" period after each ovulation cycle is still nerve-wracking every single time, and the "negative result" on the pregnancy test never stops being soul-crushing. It really makes my menstrual depression ten times worse.

I still feel a lot of shame in that I can’t bring myself to hold or read the Quran or to pray because of how much dread and anxiety it brings me. Funnily enough I’ve been able to approach Allah via Christian and Jewish mysticism and theology but that’s more of a periphery understanding than anything, and it’s not where I want to end off on. But every time I even think of being in Muslim spaces or even practicing in private I get so bone-deep scared. I wish my mother knew just how much she pushed me away from my faith with everything she did to me.

THE POETS (ash-Shu’ara’)
(In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful)
221. Shall I inform you upon whom the devils descend? 222. They descend upon every sinful liar. 223. They give ear, and most of them are liars. 224. And as for the poets—the deviators follow them. 225. Do you not see how they ramble in every style? 226. And how they say what they do not do? 227. Except for those who believe, and do good deeds, and remember Allah frequently, and defend themselves after they are wronged. As for those who do wrong, they will know by what overturning they will be overturned.
