i just think it’s funny how erik criticizes christine, the woman he’s abducted, for not being dressed by 2 in the afternoon
#he comes back from shopping to find her in visible distress#because yeah she just found out that one of the few people she trusts in the world is actually just Some Guy who’s obsessed with her#and has been deceiving her for months by taking advantage of her hope and grief over her dead father#like he’s left her in this strange and unfamiliar place after basically being her sole confidant#and she’s obviously upset because in her mind this guy who’s kidnapped her and deceived her doesn’t even have the decency to show his face#so when he gets back she’s like yelling at him to take off the mask if he’s really this upstanding guy he claims to be#and he just like. pats her on the head and is like ‘no silly goose you can’t see my face’#AND THEN. and then. after all of this he has the audacity to be like#‘wow christine you really should be dressed by now it’s 2pm in the afternoon’#AND he sets a fucking alarm for her and is like ‘meet me for lunch when you stop being a child🙄’#listen i love leroux erik so so much and i recognize that he’s socially stunted and just a sad little man#i love him BECAUSE he’s annoying and insufferable#hope this helps#lerouxposting
