Thank you so much for answering my previous question. Also I feel the need to compliment the way you are designing posters. There are so varied compared to almost indentical one in real live. It so nice to look at them. You talk once in a while about next gen oc, which got me wonder if you could tell us more about characters that show up in ARCADIAN? Feel free to spoiler it won't be a problem to me. (hope I'm now spaming you)

thank you so much!! i have so much fun making the different posters because i feel like each different movie has a different ~vibe~ but that doesn’t mean it can’t be cohesive.  also you aren’t spamming me at all i love getting these asks and i’m happy to talk about arcadian!! i’m gonna put the spoilers below the cut :~) also this is long sorry!

so at the end of the main series, the current avengers form a school called avengers academy for gifted youth with the goal of helping exceptional young people learn how to master their abilities at a young age while also teaching them how to use them for good.  it’s a pretty small school, it occupies a large historical estate in upstate new york and they’re rivals with the xavier institute for higher learning.  i think it’s like....both a high school and a college? like it’s a boarding school that begins after sophomore year of high school (so like when the characters are 16) and the program concludes after 6 years i think with a bachelor’s or something like that.  realistically, i’m probably gonna split this up into a few different books but that’s okay i am trying not to get too ahead of myself lol.  

arcadian follows an ensemble of characters, but the main narrator is margaret “margo” banner.  here’s a little list of the characters + who their parents are: 

main characters: 

margo banner (alycia debnam carey): 16; the daughter of bruce and audrey, margo has super strength but she can only activate it when she’s feeling super angry.  only, when she does, she usually accidentally goes a little too hard with it and ends up destroying stuff.  feels like a failed superhero.  she and leo are frenemies who secretly have romantic feelings for each other.  

leo stark (charles melton): 16; morgan’s (adopted) younger brother.  he's a biochem genius who has already engineered pharmaceutical solutions to 4 different life-threatening conditions (which he distributes for nothing or for free, god bless).  he's got kind of an ego but really, he’s just passionate about helping other people.  on the school’s boxing team.  

anastasia romanoff-barton (lisa tiege): 16; clint and natasha’s daughter and margo’s best friend. she's on the school’s gymnastics team and she’s really skilled with computer science/hacking.  working on building the world’s only unhackable data network.  Most followed person on Instagram after blue ivy.  she's very overambitious which is a point of friction for her and margo because margo’s like what in the world am I doing while ana seems to have it all figured out, but at the end of the day, they love and support each other.  

isaiah romanoff-barton (daniel sharman): 16; ana’s twin brother.  he's also on the school’s gymnastics team and he’s leo’s best friend.  they're both good at openly communicating their emotions with each other which I think is special.  isaiah wants to join the C.I.A. and is hoping to train for that at the avengers academy. He’s super bro-ey but he’s a good person nonetheless.  

matilda thorson (natalia dyer): 15; matilda is a demigod, she’s thor and jane’s daughter, and she’s very afraid of that.  while her brother has the power to control the weather (similar to thor but not exactly the same), matilda has the ability to cast glamours.  she spends a lot of time pining after anastasia without realizing that anastasia feels the same for her.  They have a popular girl/nerd girl kind of romance it’s super cute

riley perales-wilson (jharrel jerome): 16; the younger son of sam and liv who has the ability to open and close portals (it’s a long story how he got the powers but it involved a lab accident).  he’s pretty shy and quite sensitive, and he and matilda are best friends because they’re similar in this way.

these two characters become leads but are introduced later: 

calliope coulson (adeline rudolph): 16; she’s got a siren voice and can command people to do anything; while it’s hard to resist her, it’s not impossible.  she got in trouble for using this to rob stores and got send to the academy to improve.  if you’re wondering, yeah, she’s coulson and may’s daughter.  her power origin story is in development lol.  she’s shipped with isaiah

carlos delgado (diego tinoco): 17; can fly and levitate things with his mind; he’s very suave and confident and tends to run with the cool crowd (like the group that talia, leo, and isaiah are in).  he takes an interest in riley and the two eventually become a romantic item

side characters: 

rebecca “bex” banner (lily james): 19; margo’s older sister.  she's the golden child out of the avengers children.  her powers are the same as margo’s, only they’re motivated by love, so she’s known for like lifting cars off of children and stuff like that.  

morgan stark (tatiana maslany): 28; morgan doesn’t have any powers because she grew up like pretty normal but she’s super smart.  she went to medical school and now works as the school’s main doctor.  her expertise is as a physician but she’s so easy to talk to that margo often finds herself asking morgan for advice when they’re together.

maya perales-wilson (julissa calderon): sam and liv’s oldest daughter, 28, one of the faculty members. she teaches English and is margo’s favorite teacher.  

magnus thorson (henrik holm): 19; kind of a fuckboy who definitely uses his powers when they are not necessary but he’s not bad, just has no interest in systems of honor.  

bella stark (josie totah): 14; another adopted daughter of tony and pepper and she actually does have powers.  when the story begins, she’s just 

noah gray (max greenfield): 30; social worker/counselor; he’s like the RA for the hall that all the main characters live in and he has a giant crush on morgan.  also, he’s always catching the leads getting into Trouble lol

basically, the story is like a mix of gallagher girls, the chilling adventures of sabrina, community and the fourth season of gilmore girls.  it’s mostly a coming of age story and just about the friendships the characters form with each other as they grow up.
