Steve is a kindergarten teacher (not sure if I mentioned this before) in this universe, so he’s constantly covered in paint or glitter and he makes sure to always wear fun colored polo shirts or sweaters. He also owns one singular pair of corduroy pants that have clown dogs printed onto them that his kids absolutely love.

When Steve starts putting the patches over his cgm on his arm (when it’s visible, so usually during the beginning and end of the school year), the kids go wild for the cool colors that Eddie picked out for him.

This turns into his students trying to sneakily put stickers onto his cgm when he isn’t looking. Steve has the newest dexcom so it’s a bit smaller and more circular than the ones he used to purchase, so the stickers mostly end up on his sleeve or the skin around his cgm.

Eddie finds this extremely cute and starts to have Steve send him pictures of his arm at the end of the day to see the accuracy of the five year olds.

Since Steve is a sap he saves all of the stickers he can manage into a separate scrapbook, which he holds very dear to his heart.
