Just a fair warning, I'm very close to be drunk and what I express tonight might or might not make sense. As I sit and reflect on my life, I have come to realize that I have been considered to be the weird and odd for most of my life. For the longest time I hated myself for it, I would question myself constantly, challenge myself to become (what most consider) to be normal. On top it off, I advocated for women to love there own skin and to love themselves, yet I was not capable of doing that for myself. In fact, I became envious of women who where thinner, lighter toned, and more confident than me. I told myself that the reason why people walked out of my life was because I did not participate in parties, or dress a certain way, communicate a certain way. Yet tonight, I feel empowered, inspired, and most of all confident. The greatest artist from our past were commonly categorized as "weird" "odd". I'm proud to fit into this category, I'm inspired to stay true to myself and continue to be unique. For those who left, or decided to move on to something else, good for you. But honestly I know that you will miss me at least once, I know that I impacted you once. I just hope that this feeling wont go away. I hope that my goal will be reached, and that I continue to be who I am today. And for those who think that you need to change for someone, I beg you to think twice. And those who feel like you don't belong, I challenge you to think otherwise. Lastly for those who think you are alone, I want you to know that you aren't.
