I know I never reblog my posts but I just finished this fic (the latest chapter) and it’s scratching the itch that I had/have in the above part. It’s so good. So thank you @lipsticbullet for writing such a wonderful story.

Give me an Aeron that fights back against Davos. Give me an Aeron that has to be forced to submit to Davos, Aeron is not a pushover. Also give me an Aeron that doesn’t want to fight/put his men/friends in danger but absolutely will fight the enemy if it means others get to live.

Give me a Davos that is submissive, yeah he yelled first but to me it was more of a scared child. But don’t make him weak, let his softer side out. Or let Aeron show him that being softer doesn’t mean being a weaker person. It’s often the people with softer hearts that have spines of steel, the world is cruel especially in Westeros. So to have a soft heart means having spines of steel.

Just stop stereotyping Aeron as a weakling who just automatically submits. Same with Davos quit automatically making him the dominate one in the relationship and the one who craves violence.

Have you ever thought about what it takes to make a lipstick. How is each stick a prefect bullet? Well I can tell you that it takes a lot of work. Above is a lipstick mold which wasn’t poured correctly. Those little indents can lead to a lot of problems once the bullet is packaged. There can be structural and stability issues which no customer or company wants. This is a great example to show how something we use each day and relay on, took a long time and a lot effort to prefect.
