Don't sleep on the end of the year cosmetics clearance at Duane Ruade/Walgreens! I got @covergirl #liplava and foundation, eyeshadow, and a free holiday bonus box from @no7usa (which contained a full size lipstick and nail polish), all for $11.78! Wearing the #liftandluminate foundation now, and I like the consistency more than my fancy L'ancome photoluminescence foundation!

Covergirl Colorlicious Lip Lava!

First things first... look how awesome these lipglosses look! These are the Covergirl Colorlicious Lip Lava lip glosses. There are nine total colors to choose from, sadly I only got a hold of four. I’m excited to review these glosses because I truly do love them!

The claims of Covergirl Lip Lava is that it’s “bolder than a balm, glossier than a gloss, more lustrous than a lipstick. The hybrid formula of new Colorlicious Lip Lava combines highly pigmented shades with iridescent pearls for saturated lip color with the high shine of lacquer. Now you can get a lip look overflowing with color, shine, shimmer and glimmer with just one product”

I can actually agree with all of their claims, I love when that happens ha ha. These Lip Lava’s are crazy pigmented with just one to two swipes. The colors are so unique, bright and iridescent. It is also very shiny, which will give you a nice pouty look. The formula is also nice, feels quite moisturizing and not sticky. 

Now onto some close ups and swatches!

This on here is the shade 860 Lava-nder, love the name, haha. It is a deep purple eggplant with some blue pearl iridescent. 

Lava-nder is one my favorite purple lipglosses I’ve ever owned. Crazy pigmented and such a pretty color. 

Here is 850 Look it’s Lava!. This one is more of a magenta also containing blue pearl iridescent. 

Yet another beautiful color, great for a pop of color for any look. Also great color for Spring!

This one here is 840 Ohh La Lava is a rosy baby pink, containing blue pearl iridescent. 

This shade out of the four I bought is more on the easy wearable side for those who don’t like crazy pop of colors. They do offer a nice nude shade called “Luster” as well. This one I love using for Spring months.

Last but not least is 820 Mango Lava, which is clearly a bright orange with some pink iridescent. . 

This shade here is on of my favorite that I own so far and looks amazing. Great for the Summer months. 

Pros:

- Pigmented

- Array of colors

- Moisturizing

- Long lasting 

- Not sticky

- Cheap

- Packaging is nice

Cons: 

- Applicator makes it bit hard to get a clean crisp line

- Smell

Overall I LOVE these lip glosses and I want to own all nine, i’m also really hoping they make more colors. Best part is by the end of the day wearing it leaves a nice stain to your lips. I can’t get over these lip glosses, best drugstore brand I’ve ever owned. I highly recommend these to try at least
