Night Vale First Ward

We have a couple new missonaries in our ward boundaries, please welcome and thank Elders Lindburg and Huff for their service! While we do espouse "Every member a missionary", it gets a tad difficult to fill their shoes, what with how time consuming preaching in the streets can be.

We will be putting out the ward calendar with "feeding the missionaries" slots to give a chance for every member to provide them with a meal. After all, Sister Björnson can't fill them all by herself, now can she?

We're just kidding, that woman can feed an army.

The destiel wedding came about on valentine's day because Sam Ferris and Chad Lindburg decided to throw a virtual twitter party at the Roadhouse on Valentine's day for fun in 2021, and said some leading things that made people think it was destiel related, and then totally switched their story due to some pushback from other fans, so destiel fans reclaimed it and made it ours and had a blast doing so!

Yeah, I remember now. Clearly my brain wanted to only remember the good stuff since I completely forgot they were even involved

I made . Gay dnd superheroes slash supervillains . They're still wips and I'm gonna make my friends play the oneshot I'm planning w them . But basically the players are investigating a villain named Achilles, who used to be a hero named Mars and i rlly like them a lot they're my favorite little guy . Their name is Sidney Lindburg and they tried to expose their boss when they were a hero for like, murder and fraud and embezzlement, but the boss was some hotshot head of operations hero so no one believed them so they were like "ok uhhh . Shit guess this makes me a villain" and then they leaned too far into the role and now they don't know what they're fighting for anymore, other than just to fight . Fingers crossed they get better . They could totally get worse tho so like . Depends on what the players do .

And their hero name was Mars like the roman god bc they were known for being the heavy hitting "war-like tactics" guy on the team . And they chose the name Achilles as a villain bc the murder they're trying to expose their boss for was of their partner, and their partner was like super hyperfixated on mythos and the myth of Achilles and Patroclus was her favorite and Sidney was like "does this make me Achilles now" and . It super doesn't because Sid doesn't know a lot abt myths and definitely isn't following it but they are ginger and their lover is dead so . It makes a lot of history and myth nerds in the city super mad 👍
