         there were very few people in this world that were aware of what chase could do  —  those being his mother, who hardly remembered it half the time, and some of the people he worked closely with in his… side job, to put it lightly. however, more and more, as time passed and they spent more time together, he felt inclined to bring it up to daisy  ;  he just wasn’t quite sure how. after all, how would you randomly bring that up in a conversation?  he had no idea how she’d react to it either, but those thoughts still didn’t stop plaguing his mind. 

          perhaps it was best to take it slow, if anything. as they hung like they normally did, chase shyly took out a small package with a metal sculpture inside, one he had done himself a few days before. feeling awfully flustered all of a sudden, his eyes darted away as he moved it closer to her.  “ i… made you something. ”

        was bringing flowers a little too much?  this was a proper date, one that they had agreed upon a few days before and that he had struggled very much to prepare  —  but now that he stood in front of her apartment with a bouquet of flowers, chase couldn’t help but wonder if this was a little too old fashioned. however, it was too late for him to do anything but feel slightly nervous about it, as daisy was already stepping out of the door, making his heart race wildly inside his chest. with a blush dusting his cheeks, chase held the flowers close to him as he smiled shyly at her.  “ hello there... ”
