Yume Nikki is a game that until recently I assumed required no further introduction. However, after talking to some folks in my personal life, I've learned that this is apparently not the case. In the years since my youth it would appear that Yume Nikki and its legacy have faded into obscurity. I by no means think I have a platform sufficient for hoisting it back into the lime light. I do, however, have this little pen light here and I'm gonna let it shine and do my small part in telling people about this unique and important title.

If you were a terminally online weirdo who hung out in gaming circles back in the 2010s (like me), you may remember that there was something of an RPG Maker game renaissance. Titles like Mad Father, Ao Oni, To The Moon, The Witch's House, Ib, Corpse Party, and OFF were everywhere. Among them, standing towards the top of the pile, was Yume Nikki. Considered to be one of the first of, if not the inspiration for, this wave of indie games, Yume Nikki saw an initial release in 2004 and a final, finished release in 2011. It rapidly gained a cult classic status, it's surreal imagery and off putting, twisting settings set it apart as something special and drew players in. In Yume Nikki, you play as a young girl, Madotsuki, and explore through her surreal and often unnerving dreamscapes.

There is little point to the game beyond exploring. While there is an end goal, a way to "beat" the game, the point is the journey.

Honestly? What a journey it is. I will Firstly admit that I don't always love games this open. I don't want my hand being held but at least being pointed in the right direction is helpful sometimes. Yume Nikki was one such game where perhaps a little direction would have been nice, but I recognize that it fundamentally goes against everything the game is built on. The praise I have to give is the same praise people have been giving this game since 2004: the visuals are striking, unnerving, and make for a game world unlike any other I've seen. The way the game builds on and uses dream logic to set its rules, boundaries, and layouts makes it feel like there's always something more to find and like you never fully have a grasp on the situation. This lends itself to the atmosphere strongly, creating a well curated air of disorientation. The music is beautiful, haunting and serves as amazing backing for the visuals as well as wonderful homage to the games that inspired Kikiyama.

I would additionally like to add that the ending, while not the point of the game, may very well be my favorite part of it. It suddenly takes the strange, surreal, and occasionally light hearted things you've been seeing throughout your playthrough and juxtaposes them against grim, harsh reality. Everything the game had showed me up until that point became so much more meaningful when painted in such a serious light. I was forced to confront that none of it was actually real, and the things that maybe did represent reality were bleak and scary. It was a somber, bitter, and brutal ending but it truly made the game for me.

With that being said, Yume Nikki falls a tad short in terms of the modern games market. While it's a classic, the origin of a whole boom of indie games, and an important cultural touch stone in the history of modern games, I'm unsure how well it holds up. I think if you should want games where the ending isn't the point, where exploring and doing things in the world are the primary focus, there are now more options for that than ever across a myriad genres. While it's true there's only one Yume Nikki, and I will maintain it is unique, I simply don't believe there is enough readily accessible content to keep the attention of a modern player for very long. While there is a vast and expansive dreamscape to explore, after a while it can begin to feel samey. I felt like I'd seen all some worlds really had to offer after only a few minutes and was ready to just move on to the next thing. While I concede that perhaps this says more about me than it does the game, I feel it is still valid criticism.

Yume Nikki deserves its spot in the gaming pantheon as a cornerstone of independent game development and a truly unique piece of art. It masterfully creates and maintains its atmosphere while providing genuinely unique visuals and a beautiful, albeit short, soundtrack. However, it can't coast off these and these alone. It may be best to leave Yume Nikke in the past, a historical art piece to be visited by those like myself with a reverence for said history, lending instead our collective attention to the games it pathed the way for.

hey so drawing isn’t my forte right.. but i do like writing and i also want to get better at it. you just so happen to be really good at writing and developing a storyline. i was wondering if you had any tips when you begin to write or where you go for inspiration it would be really cool if you gave some out

hmmm,,..,,this is a little tough because i never really thought of writing critically!! i just think about things and characters and things i want to happen and it kinda just falls together over time,,

- i guess the first point would be: have a goal for the story. whether its saving the world, destroying someone or something, or even if its something simple like slice of life, establishes the kind of story you want!! for me, tcwg has an end goal, but a lot of it is slice of life stuff in the middle, with some “major” events laced in that contribute to the endgame

- give your characters a lot of personality. sometimes its not something that can be done in one day, where you can sit down and say “character A wants to be this, and character B wants to do that!” sometimes its YEARS of waiting and watching the world around you, and watching movies and games and one day youre like “oh....thats what character A wants”

- give them hopes and dreams and fears and flaws!! give them things that will guide their actions!! because those actions is what pushes the story forward (or backward, which is fine too). give them a backstory that makes them hesistate in certain situations!! give them motivation that makes them do something!!

- i gather inspiration from literally everywhere. tumblr posts, nature documentaries, irl people i know, conversations i hear in starbucks, movies, games, everything!! imo the most “original” thing you can use as inspo is people/events/things irl. because its not you looking at an established story and taking from it, its like fate put that inspiration in your life

- if it helps, put events on sticky notes and shove them on your wall for a timeline. have some major events you know you want to happen and rearrange accordingly!! i think i did this for tcwg like......,,once. and i got tired of it. and then i was like “eh i kinda know what happens ish” and went with it

- dont worry too much about it. think about your favorite tv shows and try to picture your own story as an anime or something!! figure out what scenes are meant to hit hardest

- idk for me really the whole process was fairly unconscious...im sure theres some science to it and some official tips for storylines/story making but i wasnt that elaborate in my head about how i did things, it just came out that way

- thinking about it as an rpg game really helps!! you cant make things too easy, create some “laws” that will create difficulty for the characters!! give your weapons cooldown time. force them to go foraging for ingredients if they wanna “level up,” make certain actions have repercussions!! dont be afraid to make thinghs that will make people go “fuck if only the thunderbat could unleash lightning constantly instead of every 3rd hit, that would make life so much easier” YOURE RIGHT, IT WOULD!!! but we need them to make do

- but my main advice would be don’t rush it. the only thing i noticed about creating tcwg is that it took YEARS for the story to eventually come to this point. at first it was just mochi and lime eating oreos in mochis room doing homework, and after playing games, watching movies, reading, learning, listening for 3 years it developed into something bigger!! give it a LOT of time. 

- BUT!!! its also okay for you to establish something if it means you can move forward!! dont waste too much time going “ah, i cant do [this] because [this] hasnt been decided yet-” NO! decide it and move on. you can change it later. if it doesnt fit in with the story later on, change it when it comes to you!! dont get chained down because ONE part of the story isnt “ready.” and hell, if the whole story ends up played out and that ONE part isnt what you hoped, who cares. the other 90% of the story is still fine

- put lots of filler content to make yourself happy. let them get ice cream and do stupid pointless quests. dont be afraid to piss off your characters. not everything works out nicely. make them waste their time. frustrate them. make them make mistakes, have them act like assholes. give the story flavor

Since I didn't see anyone ask about the homestuck au I feel obligated to ask as a fellow Homestuck (insert Homestuck police image (you know the one) here)

Oh fuck oh no the homestuck au oh shit

 There’s not much content here, I just organized them on classpects I thought they’d fit and put some of them as trolls (Also, alternia here is quite different from canon) 

 I think the most fun on this au is explaing my process to thinking why I decided what I did, so this is gonna be a quite repetitive and long post, sorry y’all

Kids:

Evan: Witch of Breath, his aspect basically because he has the leader role but it’s not something he takes control himself, it’s about the freedom he seeks and then incentivating others to join him, I chose the class of the witch since it’s the active change class, wich means he changes the aspect/changes through for himself, let’s think about games for me to explain you- he hates games where he has to do something like it tells him to, and love the games where he can use his liberty to have fun in whatever way he finds. I also have him as a prospit dreamer for reasons that I don’t really want to explain since it’ll get so repetitive, you guys getting the moons I say so >:)!

Tyler: Actually a Rogue of Time. I can’t lie I really wanted a timeplayer on the kids side, but I think I got a good thinking here, stay with me- The fighting aspect, the fact they don’t accept things as they are and act to change instead of just waiting things happen, the impatience- I quote the extended zodiac definition of time players: “You can’t tell them to sit still and look pretty”, plus, the rogue part of his title, the passive stealing class, someone who steal the from/through the aspect for others. A rogue can be generous and receptive, with strong ideals, on the worst cases they can bee too impulsive and apathetic. I’m not like 100% sure but I needed him as a time player and this classpect with him as a derse dreamer fit so well on how I expect him to be in this au, looking really self-centered and yet doing all he does for others instead of himself!

Nogla: Green boy is our Knight of Space! I mean... With Tyler’s description you might expect him to be te opposite, as a space player his job is to not worry about where things go, and pretty much enjoy the ride! He does understand that he needs to do things so they go the way you want to, he just don’t usually worry about it that much, he worries more about how he’s doing something than what he’s doing, and that gets him to the creative aspect, wich is why he, as a space player, is the one with the mission to creat the new universe! But that’s not all, he’s a knight!! The passive serving class are known to have a mask that’s supposed to make their friends trust them more than they trust themselves, Nogla’s is that he acts way more positive and stupid than he actually is so people around him believe him to be trustworthy, it also makes him feel safer around people that he trust are not using him. Sometimes the mask has a different effect and people thinks he’s annoying tho. But the thing with knghts are that they want to be there to help his friends, always, so he ends up being way too selfless and, well, as Tyler says: Actually stupid. He’s also a prospit dreamer, he’s just baby I love him.

Our last kid is Marcel!! He’s a Seer of Rage! His aspect comes from his chaotic side, as a rage player, he believes that society is full of lies, and there’s nothing he hates more than someone not telling the truth to him, he wants to know what’s actually happening so he can act on his passive knowledge class of seer, someone that looks to know more so he can be able to help their colleagues by acting his advices himself, he can get easily frustated when things don’t go the way he wants them to, and in the worst case can get upset enough to become agressive, as a derse dreamer he gets even more chaotic and easily frustaded. Besides, both his dream pajamas and his god tier pajamas are purple and he looks amazing in the color ;)

Trolls:

Now we go for the alliens, the descriptions will get even longer since I have to tell what’s their blood is, I won’t be explaining aspects and classes that are showing up again on this case, but if you want a more especific analysis from me in one of the boys just send me another ask!

Cartoonz: Rust blood- Adventurous, craving for new experiences far from home and often not cautious enough when agitated? Well, that makes me feel less bad about choosing his blood on the color red lol. Jk, I mean, his blood I chose on color, but I also believe that he’d do a great alternian lowblood rebel! And as a derse dreamer Prince of Time? Well, the aspect you get what I mean from Tyler description, but boy, the active destruction class does fit him in the way I wanted, he can get way too confident on his habilities, with motive of course! He’s capable of incredible things!!! But his confidence can make him impose himself on others as authority, his ideals are important for him and he’s difficult to change his mind, he does what he deems right while still showing how much he cares for the little things around him. He’s someone trustwothy and a incredible good leader besides not being in the relationships side of aspects! Plus, what’s better than get our infamous King Toonz as the prince in the game?

Squirrel: I mean... Bronze blood?? Obviously?? Warm and generous?? Slow to open without having someone else besides them?? Open hearted?? Afinity to animals??? Needy of attention and affection?? Polite when upset?? Basically babies??????? Yup! Plus, once again the color guided me this way-- But anyway! He’s a (oh my god I forgot I put him as this but fuck yeah) Thief of Doom! Doom y’all know as the bad aspect about death and shit but listen to me! The extended zodiac explains that doom players tend to be sufferers, that through their difficulties became wise and empathetic of others surffering, not the advice friend, but the friend that can confort, we’re talking about our sweet Dead Squirrel here my guys! And then I got this idea of putting him as a thief and oh my gosh I hate thieves but I loved this idea so much I kinda want use it in a homestuck rpg I do with some friends! The thieve is the active stealing class, wich means he does what a rogue does, but for themselves, while rogues give away what they steal for others, thieves keep it for themselves, it’s normally interpretated as egoist and that’s why I hate them, but being the boy we’re talking about, even if Squirrel steals the doom aspect to keep it for himself, he does it in a selfless act of trying to protect his friends from it, you can interpretate him as a knight kind of person here but I’ll stay with a derse dreamer Thief of Doom!

Smiity is our gold blood and it’s not because of the vibes he and Sollux share with red an blue glasses yOU SHUT UP! But for real, yellow trolls have the whole psych thing but what I ended up loving about putting Smiit as one is the facts that, they like to talk even if the people around the don’t wanna hear, they tend to accidentaly force their opinions in other people and if the person feels sorry about it all they can get axious easily about their actions, but still do it because it’s themselves, and I love to take this as Smiit’s careless way to act combined with his canadian way to be nice and I love it! He’s a derse dreamer Rogue of Rage, I explained both before, so really basic: he straight up just spreads chaos.

Brian: He’s our mutant lime, our candy red blooded troll!! Decided on his decisions (”if i wanna do it i’ll do it fuck you”), he can be quite the drama queen, he exagerates his feelings since he can’t hide them, he’s has caring and empathetic instincts and he’s so goddamn loyal, Once again quoting the extended zodiac: “ Romance is extremely important to Lime Signs, and when they fall, they fall hard. They don't take rejection well, and a breakup can send them into a tailspin requiring an extended period of recovery.”. And he’s our sweet derse dreamer Knight of Breath! Another one who was already basically explained, his title makes him the one who wants to bring freedom to his friends. His mask is of a confident flirty while he himself is scared of not being what people expects him to be. Fuck I love this Irish handsome bitch.

Panda: He’s an olive blooded troll! They’re described to be generous and sweet, ready to help if someone needs, they’re not really good with changes but they’re the type to drop anything to get into helper mode. But oh damn, they’re not afraid of just getting up and going out if something is not as they like. He’s a prospit dreamer Seer of Life, seer was already kinda of explained, and I put him as life bounded because of their empathetic side and how I can see Anthony as a (sometimes moody) healer! I can’t lie that his was one of the last classpects that I thought of and I wanted to fit him as a Life player, if there are other suggetions I’d like to hear too!!

Moo: Well, jade bloods are basically the default moms right? I mean, this is supposed to be expected right? I mean, I can’t even quote the extended zodiac because I’d be just copying and pasting what’s written! I’ll gladly do so in another ask but for now just accept it. And if you think that being a jade blood is not mom enough, don’t worry, I got ya, he’s also a prospit dreamer Sylph of Blood. Sylphs are the passive creation class, creating the aspect / creating through the ascpec for others, they’re curious and can get intrusive when they get worried too much, they wanna know what’s wrong and they wanna help so bad, even when their help isn’t wanted, they’re gentle and the bringers of care for their groups, and holy this isn’t enough already? No, cause he’s our fucking blood player, the aspect of union and relationships, pretty much natural leaders that bring people together by becoming friends with every single person in the group and then forming the group. Y’all think he’s mom enough?

Ohm: I completely didn’t choose Ohm to be a teal blood because he gave me Terezi vibes just like Smiity shut up. He does a good teal! They’re social and can be really flirtatious even accidentaly, they got strong morals that may get them to commit mistakes and let them down easly, they trust people way too quikly, they’re often better alone but with the right companion they can do so much!! Plus, he’s a prospit dreamer Heir of Space! We already talked about space bounds so just let me tell you, the most known point in a heir is their innocence in a determined subject, It’s a thing that I personally can’t really explain tho, they’re the passive changing class, so they’re easily adaptable and open, they care a lot about what their impact may be in others so they may hide facts about themselves, they not only change themselves for others but they incentive others to change for better, they’re caring, friendly and understanding, in the worst case they can be way too easly manipulated.

Mini: Our ladd here is a blue blood! The blood color that’s described to be capable of causing the most good but also the worst harm. They’re nice to have around as friends, and can easly become one, they’re adaptable and people magnets, they vallue their friends, wich also means they can be hard to forget a fight and get easly moody towards people they once considered close. And he’s also a derse dreamer Bard Of Light! As a bard he’s the passive destruction class, they’re devoted and faithful, they can be easly offended by criticism towards what they think is right, possibly getting open minded if the critic is someone they’re devoted at, a close friend or partner, they’re helpful, willing and friendly, but can also be inflexible in cases. As a light player Mini can be described as willing to learn more about what’s interesting him at the moment, he’s a seeker and he sees rules as suggestions to what he should do. He’s also one that I chose last so if you have a suggention I’m open!

Scotty: The boy is our indigo blood! Friendly, cheerful, energetic and curious! He can be easly attracted to anything that gets his interest and that also means he loses said interest easly, he is stronger than he thinks he is and can be careless about himself and others around him, he’s one that need to have an eye on to make sure he’s fine, and of course the person need to be prepared for so much energy! As another one that I couldn’t easily decide and became one of the last ones I chose, he’s an prospit dreamer Maid of Mind. The active creation class is kind of a favourite of mine, but kind of hard for me to explain as well, what I can tell you about them is that they are born to a fate they don’t like, and once they envolve in the game they decide to do their own fate by expressing themselves on their creations or something, I’m not really sure but I love this class!! And being mind bounded means our fuckboy tries to be rational most of the time, often that means he overthinks a lot, he sees most if not all possibilities of a decision and he’ll think over them, he’s mostly a person that’s slow to act, but when he does he knows what he’s doing, so just do how he says!

Delirious: I’ll get people getting mad at me that I didn’t put him as either teal, blue or indigo blood, but for real can you really judge me to choose him to be a purple blood when they have the clown make up and creepy as hell aethetic? And plus, the fact their description says they’re hard to trust on others, they can be mysterious and are great at keeping secrets. They’re decided and hard to change minds, they often want to refuse to be helped even when they need, but after all, when they trust someone they become devoted, putting way too much trust on them. I mean, yeah?? And he’s also our prospit dreamer Page of Void. The active serving class is another one of my favourits, being the people full of potential, they compare themselves to other and then create an ideal of who they want to be in their mind, some persona they want to become with characterists they don’t see themselves having, their nature on believing they can be what they build on their minds show their innocence and kindness, they sometimes can shut themselves inside their personas and act like how they want to be and less how they are, at best, they’re caring, charming and big dreamers, while at worst they can be manipulative and selfish by forcing their persona on others. And with all that, Del is also void bounded, meaning he’s a great secret keeper! He’s attracted to mystery and the unknown is his best friend, while others want to find out what they don’t know, Del is convicted on doubting what’s said to be the truth, he can be easly described as intuitive!

I’m not really sure but I believe our violet blood will be Lui by being a Witch of Hope prospit player, I’m not gonna talk so much about why because I’m getting out of time sorry----

Last boy will be Kryoz as our fuchsia heir, derse dreamer and Mage of Heart, he’s one that I thought first in the au and I’d love to explain more, but once again I’m going out of time, you can ask me about him separetely if you want to!!

February’s Featured Game: LONE STAR

GENRE: Western, Action, Adventure SUMMARY: Lone Star takes place in the far-flung, sunbaked desert country of Diamondback, where sheriffs struggle to maintain civil order and protect the public from the deserts’ many vicious outlaws. The demand for someone to enforce the law led to independently operated training programs for citizens who want to help keep the peace. Elmer is a student of one such program held in the little mining locale of Bulk Rock City, who ventures into the chaotic wasteland alone in an effort to do his part as a sheriff-in-training. March’s Featured Game: CERESS AND OREA

GENRE: Puzzle, Adventure SUMMARY: Ceress is sentenced to death, because she’s in love with the ‘wrong’ person. April’s Featured Game: FOLKLORIA

GENRE: Adventure, RPG SUMMARY: Folkloria is a lighthearthed turn-based RPG set on a floating island inhabited by mythological creatures. You play as Weaver, a young and unassuming griffin determined to rescue his family from the clutches of Dr. Zeralidius, a shady businessperson from the world below the clouds who plans to modernize the peaceful island. May’s Featured Game: MARE

June’s Featured Game: QUEEN MARY'S SCRIPT RETOLD

GENRE: Adventure SUMMARY: Queen Mary’s Script is a tale of a young girl who finds a happy escape in her own dreams. She lives in a shell closed off from the world and only in her own room can she express her feelings. That is, until she happens upon the doll Clause and all at once, the magic she yearned for in her life is thrust upon her. July’s Featured Game: BLACK CRYSTALS

GENRE: Fantasy, RPG WARNINGS: Alcohol Reference, Drug Reference, Use of Alcohol, Use of Drugs, Use of Tobacco, Mild Blood, Fantasy Violence, Sexual Themes SUMMARY: Starsio, a street performer, finds himself in the stickiest of situations. Starsio was kidnapped off the streets of his home town and brought to the brothel Paprika where he is forced to become a performer. August’s Featured Game: SHROOM SOUP

GENRE: Adventure, RPG, Psychological Horror WARNINGS: Listed here (may contain spoilers) SUMMARY: You play as Arnika, a gloomy teenage girl. Perpetually tired, you live off excessive sleep, lime juice, and instant soup. You look into the vortex forming in your cup of said soup, this time mushroom flavour. Next thing you know, you are in an entirely different world where everything, from buildings to people, is being devoured by fungi. It seems like you have no choice but to walk on… Your journey involves exploration, puzzle-solving and battles. Play the demo here!

September’s Featured Game: GHOST HOSPITAL

GENRE: Adventure, RPG WARNINGS: Anxiety, Body horror, Implied child harm SUMMARY: Ghost Hospital is a game about anxiety, depression, despair, mental rock bottoms, and, of course, ghosts. You play as Robin, a twelve-year-old girl who has an anxiety disorder and is very much alive in this hospital meant for beings that are not alive. Frankly, her anxiety was already bad enough before she landed in a hospital full of dead people, the still-shambling shells of ancient ghosts who try to take her down for a sweet taste of life, and the hospital directors hellbent on keeping her contained, and more importantly, away from the reason she’s REALLY there. Thankfully, you have your new friends Jay and Sarcastic Ghost- Jay is a ghost about your age, and still a very new arrival to the hospital, and Sarcastic Ghost…well, he’s an amorphous blob of a ghost, who talks a lot despite not having a mouth. October’s Featured Game: OVERCAST

GENRE: Horror, Supernatural, Action, RPG WARNINGS: Graphic Violence, Body Horror, Drugs and Alcohol, Obscured Nudity, Mild Gore, Suicide Reference, Religous References SUMMARY: Overcast is an Action RPG with two separate protagonists. Violet; the modest yet strict Spirit of the Sun, and Nico; the relaxed yet distant Spirit of Rain. In a world where humans and spirits live alongside each other, Nico is a lonely spirit that resides on Aarat, an obscure city on an island in the middle of the sea shrouded by dark clouds. For some mysterious reason it rains at all times. December’s Featured Game: SOMA SPIRITS

GENRE: RPG SUMMARY: Soma Spirits is a choice-driven Role-Playing Game in which players will face heavy dilemmas with a colorful cast of characters. Unlike many games of choice, the decisions you will make in the world of Soma are not so black and white, and characters will undergo different changes depending on how you wish to proceed. The world of Soma is a land divided into two similar, but distinct versions of one another. At certain locations, you will be able to travel back and forth between the World of Joy and the World of Sorrow and find different inhabitants, monsters, and clues on how to proceed. Novels I’m glad to have read and why: There's a lot, so I'll just list what I can remember off the top of my head.

★ Criss Cross - Konton no Maou by Takahata Kyouichirou, published by MediaWorks. This was the very first book that made me interested in reading novels.

★ Natsu no Niwa - The Friends by Yumoto Kazumi, published by Shinchousha. When I felt down, I read this and my heart was cleansed.

★ Rirekisho by Nakamura Kou, published by Kawade Shobou Shinsha. Because it gave me courage.

★ Tsubasa wa Itsu Made Mo by Kawakami Ken'ichi, published by Shuueisha. I simply thought that it was a really good book, and reading it made me want to read more books like it in the future.

★ Tsumetai Kousha no Toki wa Tomaru by Tsujimura Mizuki, published by Kodansha. This was the book that reminded me that I wanted to keep reading novels forever.

What kind of videos do you watch on NicoNico? Anything.

Were you learning how to dance? I've never learnt how to dance.

Why did you start dancing? I wanted to take part in the first large-scale Cirno meeting. (T/N: An event where a whole bunch of people from NND get together to dance to Cirno's Perfect Math Class. Here's the 2009 version.)

Here's Puppet, one of the party members of my dream game. She fell into the wrong group of friends, and eventually was brutally killed by them, sending her to Limbo, land of the dead. Unfortunately, her misfortune did not end here, as she got manipulated by demons following her demise, falling victim to her pliable and optimistic nature... She escapes her repeated manipulation, assisted by The Boy, but I can't spoil too much else, of course.

... I would not have ever claimed that I could run the Chuubo’s Marvelous Wish-Granting Engine RPG in my sleep, but that was actually a quite solid grasp of the list of Pastoral genre XP Actions and the details of the Shared Action rules, dream-me, good job.

(Dream-me did flounder slightly due to remembering the bonus condition for Shared Action, that it was the bonus condition and not the core, but not quite remembering the core condition, but honestly I do that in real life, the bonus condition is basically how the action works and the baseline is just a defanged intermediate step where I stopped for the purposes of mass consumption anyway.)

Anyway, back to sleep, we were just getting to the introduction of Eyepatch, the lime magician.

Q1. Your dream job when you were a child? A badminton player when I was in elementary school. After that my parents bought me a computer so I got into gaming and wanted to do a job about gaming. Q2. How did the members celebrate your birthday in 2017? We were all practicing singing and dancing and the lights suddenly went off, then the door was opened and Jimin-san and V-san came in holding a cake. Q3. When do you feel like you have become an adult! I turned 20 in Japanese age in September! But actually I'm still a kid at heart, so truthfully I don't really feel like I have become an adult. Q4. In which moment do you feel like you're still a kid? For example, when I watch and think about a video or an interview. When I read people's comments, I feel like even with the same question, they think from a much bigger point of view than me. That's when I feel like maybe I'm still lacking in depth. Q5. A work that touched you recently? "Love, Rosie". It made me touched because it's a sweet but sad love story. Q6. The kind of song you're planning to compose? Song of styles like future base and chillstep which I enjoy and listen to a lot. Q7. Favorite dessert? The Japanese snack kinako mochi. I like that it melts in my mouth because it's just so fluffy! Also I ate cheesecake before the photoshoot for <non-no>. That one was delicious too♡ Q8. How do you take care of your beautiful voice? I don't pay particular attention to it... Like I just sing with my original voice I've had since I was born... Q9. Any habit? Covering my nose when I yawn. Not mouth but nose somehow. (laughs) And I pull the baby hair on my face unconsciously. I know about these things because fans told me.

Q10. The most exciting song of BTS? The uptempo "Wings". And the original Japanese song "Crystal Snow" which will be released in December! When I first heard it I felt like it matched my current emotion quite well. Q11. If you were to go out on a personal trip with the members? If I have time, I want to travel to Japan. I want to tour around the streets of Tokyo leisurely. Q12. Something you're into the most right now! As always, composing! Q13. A skill that you can say "Actually I'm good at this too"? Are you asking "I can do this too", not "I can't do this"? (laughs) From now on I want to be good at composing, Japanese and learning. I want to speak Japanese a little more fluently! Q14. If you were Santa Claus, what present would you give to each member? For Rap Monster-san, J-hope-san, Jimin-san, V-san, I want to choose clothes that match them well. Maybe composing equipment would be great for Suga-san. And for Jin-san who's raising cute sugar gliders, pet supplies!

Q15. Favorite number? 85. The song 'DNA' we released in Korea in September ranked No.85 on Billboard Hot 100 Chart. From that day on it's my favorite number. Q16. Favorite drink? Lemon lime flavored soft drink. It's a must when I'm eating or taking a break. I can't drink coffee and alcohol well. Q17. Favorite movie genre? Every genre except for horror movie! A movie I enjoyed watching recently is "Midnight Runners". Q18. Something that made you feel the most excited recently? Actually I'm planning to give my parents a car as a surprise present. Just thinking of it gets me excited already. Q19. Saddest song of BTS? The hidden track "Sea" from "Love Yourself 承 'Her'". The lyrics are like the path we walked on, so my heart aches whenever I listen to it. Q20. A photo you took recently? Landscape photos. I like putting my thoughts into my photos. I have been saving all the photos I took until now so hope one day I can show it to you guys in any form. Q21. If you were to become a photographer, what kind of photobook would you want to make? Landscape of course. I would make a photobook of landscape photos with 2 versions, colored and B&W. Personally I like B&W photos but I think color photos have a fascinating power of touching the heart, so hopefully it'll double the delight. Q22. Something you must do for beauty care? I put on facial mask and skin lotion 10 minutes before I sleep every night. For hands I just use hand cream? Q23. How do you get your mood up when you feel down? When I think of 그므시라꼬 (lit: What is it / It's not a big deal), one of the things my father told me before, my mood's recharged! Q24. A person you want to meet right now? The aunt of the protagonist from "The Full-time Wife Escapist". Ishida Yuriko's acting is extremely skilled and charming. Q25. A birthday episode that made you deeply moved? When my family and relatives gathered to celebrate my birthday before I went to elementary school. I'm still keeping the photo we took together that time. Q26. Favorite event during a year? The birthday of my father who's been raising me up. I'm living away from him now so I can't celebrate it properly, but I want to invite him to Seoul one day and throw a big party for him! Q27. Tips for learning Japanese? I tried to remember words or commonly used sentences only before, but now I watch Japanese dramas and movies and if there's any word I don't know, I would pause the video and look up for its meaning. A movie I watched recently is "Drowning Love". Q28. Something the members told you recently that made you happy? "Handsome." This is embarrassing but it makes me happy (laughs)

Q29. The most exciting song of BTS? "Fire". The melody and lyrics bring a nice feeling and can lift the mood up, and many people knew about BTS thanks to this song too. It changed our lives so whenever I hear it, I get heated thinking about that time! Q30. A song you played with guitar recently. My skill's still lacking, but I wanted to play the BGM of a game that I happened to hear on a guitar practicing video so I'm working hard on it right now. Q31. The first image that comes to your mind when it comes to "winter"? I think of the snow-clad area from an RPG game I used to like when I was a kid. Q32. Something you do every day without skipping? Feeding Odeng and Eomuk. Sugar gliders are small and cute! By the way Odeng is "odeng" and Eomuk is "odeng" in Korean♡ Q33. A food you can cook well? Mixed seasoned whelk (whelk salad) and a soup with rice cake (rice cake soup). I made it for the members on New Year's Day and they loved it, they thanked me for making it because they can't go home often. I'm really kind, aren't I? (laughs) Q34. A Japanese food that made you touched? Grilled eel rice, it has dashi stock so it was delicious! Q35. Must-have item in your fridge? Chili pepper paste, ssamjang (dipping sauce for meat), kimchi. I mainly eat meat at home so there must be condiments for meat. Q36. Favorite space in your room? I like the room itself so it's hard to choose one. I feel happy when I play with my pets, play games or just idle around. Q37. The member who you talk to about your worries? I don't have that many worries. I tend to resolve the cause on my own before my thoughts becomes a worry. Q38. In which moment do you think you shine the most? My existence itself is shining so it should be "always", not just "moment"! (laughs) Q39. Memories about '2017 Billboard Music Awards'? When we arrived at the venue in Las Vegas there was a panel that said "Billboard", I and the members went "So this is Billboard" and we were so touched, we couldn't believe it... Q40. A recent private surprise? I gifted Odeng and Eomuk to myself! And we celebrated Jungkook's birthday in September with a surprise event. Q41. A member that you depend on lately? Jimin. When we went on a variety show he left it to me when I spoke, and stepped up when it’s his turn to speak, he was reliable.

Q42. A goal you want to achieve in 2017? Getting closer to Odeng and Eomuk and make them come to me without having to do anything. I’m practicing for them to climb on my arms when I put yogurt on my hand, but not long ago they bit my finger along with the yogurt... I think it’ll take some time. (laughs)

Q43. Favorite season? I like the feeling of winter, since I was born in Busan and there’s not much snow there. When I was around 6, may 7 years old, there was abnormally heavy snow in the winter, the snow scene I saw outside of my window was extremely memorable. I remember playing outside with my family and friends.

Q44. Something you want to have the most right now? Time to travel. To Japan! I heard that Halloween in Japan is really big, I want to disguise myself so that no one would recognize me and join in.

Q45. A subject you were good at at school? PE, Arts, Science, Math. I especially liked ball game in PE.

Q46. Something you pay attention to when you build up your body? I only adjust my meal portion depending on the time. I don’t really work out. Even I myself feel like I’m thin when I put on clothes. So sad... (laughs)

Q47. Favorite street in Korea? Gangnam. It’s the place where I met the members after going to Seoul from another region and also the place where I go for bowling or billiards and play with my friends. Gangnam indeed!

Q48. A fashion item you want to try wearing this winter? I’m planning to go shopping and think about my winter fashion starting from now. I’m looking forward to see if I’ll meet cool coats or cute knitwears.

Q49. What did you do before sleeping yesterday? As soon as I came home and lied down on my bed after coming back from a variety show filming, I fell asleep right away. (laughs)

Q50. What did you dream of last night? I was continuing with the variety show filming in my dream last night. (laughs) If I can choose my dream as how I want, I want to fly to the sky!

Q51. Something that made you laugh the most recently? Jin-san said something lame so I laughed really hard. But since it was too lame, unfortunately I don’t remember what it is. (laughs)

Q52. A hairstyle you want to try? A hairstyle with impact... I don’t know if I suit it or not but maybe like, slicked-back hair!

Q53. If time machine exists? I used to think it would be fun to go back in time and start over, or to secretly go meet myself in the future. But now I don’t want to go anywhere. Because I had determined to not let go of what I saw at the time, live and cherish every moment.

Q54. Favorite words? “Thank you”, just hearing this gives me strength.

Q55. Memories about 2017 Japan arena tour? The tour made me once again feel how fun it is to do concerts! As we headed towards the end of the tour, my gratitude for the members grew stronger and I think this was a valuable chance for me to look back at myself.

Q56. In which moment do you feel like the members are cool? J-hope-san’s dances are really awesome! Especially his performance in “MIC Drop”, one of the songs from our 8th single released in December, so please pay a lot of attention to him.

Q57. If you were to compare yourself to a color? Blue. I liked it since a long time ago and I think it suits me too. And It makes people feel bright and purified so I want to be the color blue.

Q58. When you contact, do you call or text? I don’t really like calling so I don’t call much. I think I only call for 10 minutes a month. I just go simple with texting.

Q59. Do you eat what you like first or do you save it for later? I have never thought when I eat. (laughs) Maybe not right from the beginning but a little later?

Q66. The first song you made? I composed for the first time by self-learning when I was 13, I think it was a hip hop track. Q67. Favorite time of the day? When I fall asleep. I feel at ease and my heart flutters a bit before I climb on my bed to sleep. Q68. How do you refresh yourself when making music? I play computer games, play with my phone or drink my favorite coffee~ Q69. Do you have your own way of drinking coffee? I don't like sweet stuff that much so first of all, I won't put sugar in. And since I like the smell of coffee beans, I go with black, putting nothing extra in. I especially like drinking coffee in my studio. (laughs) Oh and doesn't it feel unusual and fun to drink coffee after brushing your teeth? (laughs) Q70. The hairstyle you like the most among the ones you have tried so far? Speaking of colors, I think... I like black the most... (laughs) I like my natural hair color. Q71. Favorite lyrics in BTS songs? I relate to the "It's okay to lose" part. (in "Fire") Q72. Your own treasure? The equipment for making music in my studio. And the watch I'm wearing right now. It’s what I planned to buy in elementary school, that I would work hard on the music path and buy it later, so I must wear this when I make music to remind myself of my initial mindset. Q73. The most recent time you cried? I don't cry because I'm emotional but.. Uhm.. I yawned 10 minutes ago and the tears came out! (laughs) Q74. If you have a day for yourself in Japan? I want to visit a whiskey distillery! I heard my favorite author, Murakami Haruki, likes whiskey and even wrote a travelogue with the theme of whiskey, so I became interested in it. Q75. In which moment do you feel your friendship with the members? When we gather and play games during the time we have no schedule. I'm not good at games so I like playing with many people. Q76. The member that you feel like is cute lately? Jungkook. I find it cute how he's the youngest but he's slowly becoming an adult. When I first met Jungkook he was in middle school, he used to not be able to organize what he wanted to say during interviews, but seeing how well he answers now feels cool to me.

J-HOPE

Q60. BTS song that has the best choreography? “Save Me” and “DNA”. The house steps in “Save Me” dance break is really cool and my sister also said “That dance is the best”. (laughs) For “DNA” I think it’s one of the few perfect choreographies even for BTS.

Q61. What do you pay attention to during a performance? Face expression, the dynamic of the movement. Sticking to details to express the vibe of the song.

Q62. A song that makes you want to dance along? Post Malone ft. 21 Savage’s “Rockstar”.

Q88. A place you want to travel to again? Sapporo, I have been there a few times to perform, but my dream is to one day travel there on a personal trip and go into the hot spring surrounded by the snow scenery!

Q89. How do you spend time while moving? Sometimes I just sleep, sometimes I watch movies, it depends. When I went back and forth between Korean and Japan from May to July,, I wrote songs or lyrics in the plane.

Q90. Must-eat food when you come to Japan? Ramen and meat. And I like grilled eel rice the most!

Q91. Secret to your amazing smile? Hearing that makes me embarrassed. (laughs) Basically the best is to enjoy and be positive. I believe that when we smile we’ll become happier so maybe that shows on my face.

Q92. Favorite shoes at the moment? I like shoes so I bought several pairs of sneakers recently. Among them there were one pair made from several materials and colors, I fell in love with it from first sight!

Q93. Favorite fragrance recently? Fresh scent, I’m currently using mint hand soap.

Q94. A member that you think is cool? RM and V who have special interest for fashion. But the other members also have their own styles so they’re cool as well.

Q95. Favorite sports? Tennis which I played from 4th year to 6th year of elementary school. The reason I started playing tennis was a little bit special... When the teacher stood in front of the class and asked “Anyone who wants to play tennis?”, I happened to be stretching with both arms out. The teacher mistook it as me signing up so I got in. (laughs) I started playing tennis again this summer and it’s refreshing and fun!

Q96. Personal goal in 2018? Releasing the mixtape which I’m preparing. And becoming more skilled at Japanese.

Q97. If you could experience another job for one day? Tennis player. I couldn’t do well even when I practiced in elementary school, so I consider entering the Wimbledon championship is a dream of dream. (laughs)

Q98. A member that you feel like has especially grown up lately? Jungkook’s face has become more evident ever since he turned 20. When I first saw the music video of “DNA” released in Korea, he was so cool that I was shocked!

Q63. A place you have never been to that you want to travel too? I want to go to Kyoto! A friend of mine who traveled to Japan invited me to go there. Q64. Must-have item that you carry along for relaxing purpose when you go overseas? Pilates practice DVD. I watch and stretch before I sleep inside the hotel room.

Q65. Speaking habit? “Actually~. I think I say it to make time for myself to arrange thoughts. It’s like “Ano” (That~) in Japanese?

Q77. A recent trivial worry or doubt? The webtoons are too good that I end up staying up all night with my phone on one hand. And doubts for Jungkook and V! Jungkook changes his hobby every month. V’s selection of words are a little peculiar, it’s amazing. Sometimes he surprises me with his use of new expressions. (laughs)

Q78. A subject you were bad at at school? Math and English. The only subjects I had to go to cram schools for outside class were these two. I slowly got more familiar with English but I didn’t have any progress with Math until the end. (laughs)

Q79. Something personal that made you happy recently? I rode a bike along the Han river on a nice day. I felt very happy enjoying the wind and riding bike.

Q80. Food you eat the most often when eating out? Meat! I mean meat-nim! (laughs) I like meat sliced really thin like it’s shaved and then grilled.

Q81. A Japanese word you learned recently and want to use? 木漏れ日 (sunshine beaming through the trees). I think it’s cool how it’s light from the sun, but i doesn’t shine fiercely but rather friendly.

Q82. Something you want to learn at the moment? Acoustic guitar! Given how it creates raw sound, it’s a straight and honest instrument.

Q83. If you can only bring one thing to a deserted island? V. He's not dependable but... What should I say... If V's there I definitely won't be bored (laughs) And flip-flops (bi-san = beach sandals/flip-flops or V-san, similar pronunciation) are great too, since the sandy beach will be hot.

Q84. A person you respect? My father. I have never seen my father and mother fighting in front of me. When I told them I want to make music, they supported me and told me go for it.

Q85. Birthday memories of 2017? We were invited as guests to the Seoul concert of The Chainsmokers who we collaborated with in the song “Best Of Me”. I was surrounded by people I cherish so it felt like the biggest birthday party in my life?

Q86. The most memorable song of BTS? “Danger” which we released in Korea in 2014. It was when we were desperately trying as group. It has really cool dances so please watch it!

Q87. Something you cherish the most as a leader? Memories with the members. Because we made it through the hardship together, so we can still think of each other and move forward even now.

Q99. Memorable Christmas memory?

RM: I remember when I was 6, I heard that our family would travel on Christmas and I asked “Will Santa grandpa be able to come?” Since we were travelling to the country, I was worried. (laughs) SUGA: When I was small, our family would gather and have a meal together. After I started living away from them, it began to feel like a wonderful memory. JIN: When I went to the ski resort with my parents and brother. It was our regular Christmas trip when I was in elementary school. J-HOPE: There was a year when it snowed a lot on Christmas. The white Christmas I wished for! I remember making snowman with my family and laughing and chatting. JIMIN: I want to spend a memorable Christmas in the future. The snow is memorable! It’s the best to play at the ski resort and finish by watching the night scenery. V: I think many people spend Christmas as couples but I’m always alone ever since I was born. (laughs) When I was in school, I would go to the PC room with my usual friends and play games or eat noodles. I pretended to be tough like “PC room for Christmas!”. (laughs) JUNGKOOK: One year I was sleeping with my brother and when I opened my eyes slightly, I saw a grandpa with white beard! I thought “Santa really came” and went to sleep with a very happy mood.

Q100. What do you want to achieve, to try as BTS in 2018?

RM: Performing at the biggest venue in each country! SUGA: We have achieved many of our goals so far and thankfully there isn’t anything we haven’t achieved. But we won’t dwell on our achievement next year and hopefully we can enjoy our favorite music and have a good time with our fans. JIN: I want to make a song that anyone would love. Personally, I want to play and have fun with fireworks with the members. (laughs) J-HOPE: My goal and dream is to stand on a worldwide stage and present a performance that will blow everyone’s mind. JIMIN: I’m not persistent for records. Because our fans made them happen. But whenever they set new records for us I feel very thankful and grateful. I wish 2018 would become a year where we get to spend more time with our fans. V: I see a lot of beautiful sceneries in the countryside when I watch Japanese movies. I want to perform in other cities, not just big ones, and see those sceneries with my own eyes. I want to go meet more fans! JUNGKOOK: Making songs by myself that can be put into BTS albums! I’ll continue to try to make it happen.

Intermission - Oddsock’s Dream

[Due to last minute unavailability of one of our players, we abandoned our usual DnD session in favour of a run of The Witch Is Dead - a one page RPG by Grant Howitt.  Matt (Oddsock) took the helm and has supplied the below notes for your delectation and delight.  Art provided by the players, with John (Kadis) as Sock-Sod, Laura (Julius) as Cleo and me (DM) as Mister Champion of Industry]

On the hearth of the Jaunty Skinner, swaddled in an otter and fey weasel, an adorable golden retriever dreams. Oddsock dreams of home and the hours spent chasing butterflies. He dreams of the rival of youth Ghedahn the Paladin. He dreams a truly disturbing and mysterious dream.

He dreams about a witch.

She has just been murdered.

The witch hunter has left her well-appointed cottage in a mess and her body has just been found by her 3 currently present familiars. They are: Cleo the cat with the power to make plants grow, Sock-Sod a chocolate Labrador with the ability to open and close things, and finally Mister Champion of Industry a spider who can speak to humans. His name arising from a flyer he found in a bin from a corporate event. Distraught at the murder of the witch who taught them their powers (Ethel the Magnificent, purveyor of card tricks) they set out to claim the eyes of the witch hunter to resurrect her.

Opening the door to get a scent (or just to find a trail of bloody footprints) Sock-Sod, ridden by Mr Champion of Industry (MCoI) emerge to find themselves on the wrong side of the A405 North Orbital, between the M1 and the M25 just outside of Bricket Wood, near St Albans. Our erstwhile troupe make their way into the town and find many of the townsfolk heading towards some kind of gathering. They’re dressed in white and yellow regalia and greeting each other with a gesture representing the sun. The sound of an amplified voice drifts over the town. MCoI has no idea what it’s saying.

Spying a merchant selling white and yellow pinwheels to the children of the town Cleo climbs onto the windowsill of the hairdresser, successfully pouncing, snaffling her prize and leading the party down an alley. As a result they narrowly miss the emergence of a figure wearing a cuirass, leather gloves and heavy boots with a broadsword strapped to his back emerging from Londis with a couple of bottles of wicked strength cider, one of which he opens up and starts quaffing in the mouth of the alleyway. Seeing him as he starts to stride away the party try to catch up. Sock-Sod once again tries to catch a scent and sees him as a vivid streak of lime green vapourised alcohol striding off towards the Bricket Wood social club.

Making haste the party arrive to find that their quarry is nowhere to be seen. Upon the dais a man hand cranks a steel wire egg, contained within are multiple coloured spheres. Also seated there are a man wearing a gaudy chain and white and yellow robes, and a mysterious figure wearing an old leather coat and a wide brimmed had. Sock-Sod is eager to get his paws on one of those round things, but the chap running the tombola is having none of it. Meanwhile Cleo has an idea for a foolproof disguise for the party that will enable them to move unseen. She stalks the perimeter until she finds what she’s looking for, a balled up tablecloth from the hog roast blown against the fence! Quickly forming an animal stack of Cleo standing on Sock-Sod with MCoI remaining on top for full visual capability. MCoI promises promotions and leveraged synergies for all.

[Oddsock snores and repositions]

MEANWHILE: another of the witch’s familiars, a Hare named Michael with the magic ability to clean blood out of upholstery waits at a train station having attended a hedge-witchery conference in Harrogate. The platform is filled with a menagerie of animals wearing lanyards. A local news crew has arrived on the scene. Michael rolls his eyes.

Sock-Sod notices an increase in the lime green tang in his olfactory view and the animal stack notices some heavy leather boots making their way through the cloud. The disguise is almost immediately shed resulting in a second plan being formulated involving bunting. Cleo manages to defy gravity in the way that only cats can when clutching any wall fixture and releases it from one end. The other end is suspended from a pole by the hook-a-duck stand. Sock-Sod and MCoI ably demand that the hook-a-duck hook-on-a-stick is handed over whilst Cleo shimmies up the pole. She sends the bunting fluttering to the ground before gracefully falling straight into the middle of the water bath, scattering the rubber ducks. Fortunately her allies are quickly able to extract the now ferocious feline.

On stage an argument has started betwixt the leather clad drunken upstart and the shadowy figure who turns out to be an elderly gentleman. These two are rival witch hunters!

MEANWHILE: Michael-the-blood-stain-removing-hare has been able to upgrade to weekend first class, but unfortunately is sat next to a racist granny who keeps trying to talk to him. He just wants to drink his godawful rail coffee and get home.

The young upstart witch hunter (Mr Eustace Eustace III) challenges the older witch hunter (Simon Menzies) to a Challenge of the Brotherhood at… THE GATE. The man with the gaudy chain, The Baron, announces to the townsfolk, peasantry and merchants that they were indeed in for a treat and that we would all be processing down to the gate for the ritual challenge. Our trio of familiars follows along, MCoI scales to the peak of Simon Menzies and discovers that HE was the hunter that had murdered Ethel the Magnificent at the behest of the baron for her obnoxious close up magic routine that would often plague the town centre. Reporting back on his findings the animal parliament agreed that they would sabotage the chances of Eustace Eustace so that they could exact revenge on Mr Menzies.

MEANWHILE: A traffic jam. Michael gazes out of the window of his rail replacement bus service at Kettering High Street where the bus is stuck at a set of 4 way control traffic lights. Guess who has come to sit next to him.

Arriving at THE GATE, which turned out to be a large vertical circle of stone with attached bar and gift shop. Looking through the currently inactive GATE shows a view over fields, but after Mr Menzies lights the blue touch paper it is filled with a tornado of rocks. The baron announces the rules. “Each Witch Hunter, in the tradition of the brotherhood, must deliver the best performance of Wonderwall followed by Angels using a performance style of their choosing. The worst performer will be cast into THE GATE and the winner will be known henceforth as the greatest witch hunter.”

Simon starts a painful rendition on an acoustic guitar that he clearly has limited familiarity with, whilst Eustace slides a Rectangle of Great Storage to the sound artificer who inserts it into his own larger glowing silver rectangle, which displays on the back a banana with a little bite taken out of the wrong side of the curve. An array of animal distraction ensure with Sod-Sock giving the engineer puppy dog eyes, Cleo going full cat on the laptop keyboard and MCoI promising promotions for all upon completion of a successful project. As Mr Menzies finishes his set the sound artificer attempts to start up Eustace’s backing tracks only to find his laptop furiously installing updates. So eutace tries it a capella and is cast through THE GATE.

MEANWHILE: A hare stands in an industrial estate in Hemel Hempstead whilst a now black eyed racist grandmother glowers at him from the window of the bus as it slowly pulls away. Michael hears a pop and a scream as a leather clad witch hunter drops from the sky into a skip in front of a van wholesalers.

With Eustace out of the way Simon is now entirely at their mercy. As he requests conveyance away from this place using his magical communications oblong Cleo tries to pounce upon him to no avail. As our heroes (?) pursue him towards the parish council car park MCoI uses his magical ability to speak human to distract the witch hunter, who foolishly and in reckless abandonment of the green cross code, stops in the middle of the highway and is immediately hit by an articulated lorry. Whilst ambulances are summoned Cleo and Sock-Sod make off with his eyes at high speed, motivated by the executive seminar stylings of MCoI.

Arriving home the witch is resurrected, a bedraggled hare arrives home not wanting to have to spend the next 8 hours cleaning up blood, and, finally a spidery specialist consultant in shifting paradigms and over promising motivational promotions is devoured by a cat.

A golden retriever jerks awake. He knows there was a dream, for some reason he was very, very small and used a lot of new and big words. It was very real to him indeed. But, as with all dreams it is already fading, and as Oddsock takes the comfy bit of the blanket away from Julius and settles back down it is already forgotten.

Yea but the next dream was very neat that would have made a fun rpg horror game. I played the role of a girl meet her friend at some fancy video game arcade that was all bubblegum pink.

Later I look in the gift shop and smelled something like lime until a small boy who looked like Armin from attack on titan pointed at a dead body. I freaked out and everything turned murky green as I grabbed the boy and his in the bathroom then a creepy handsome looking guy came in.

Then I woke up which I was disappointed cause that dream was entertaining. 😆
