She laughed, the tension in her releasing. “Do you want to get my heart racing, Lewie?” His own soft chuckle faded and he stepped closer to her and lowered his voice. “I really do.” And just like that, the tension, the ache, returned two-fold. What was this man doing to her? He reached over and stroked her jaw. “Do you want me to get your blood pumping?” She found herself quivering beneath his touch. “Maybe.” “Just maybe?”  “I’m receptive to it.” He grinned and pulled her closer. “I’d prefer you to be keen. Maybe even enthused.” The bright blue of his eyes dazed her like a midday summer sky. “I can offer you amenable," she said. “Damned with faint interest." He picked her up and put her on the counter, letting his hands rest on her hips. God she loved when he did that. “I fear I need to give you something to make you a little more enthusiastic.” “You might have to,” she whispered. 

11. Do you write scenes in order, or do you jump around?

This is a good question! I don't usually think much about it. I rarely write dual POV for fanfic, because it's time consuming and I'm lazy. So when I know the premise, I generally know who's POV it'll be in. Like, in one of my wips, I decided that Levi is just discovering that he's bisexual and the story will follow him going from closeted to out so he can be with Lucas (who is already out and resents being shoved back in). Since Levi is the one who is going to grow and change, the story was always gonna be in his POV in my head.

With TSIME I DID plan to write Beach Hut Confessionals from Lili's point of view and scatter them throughout the story, but after the first one I realized that I liked it better when we only saw things through Bobby's lens.

29. What’s something about your writing that you’re proud of?

I'm proud of writing small moments that foreshadow the big emotional impacts to come. Most people never even notice them, so they're kind of just something for me. TSIME has a fuck ton of them.

**WARNING: THE SUN IN MY EYES SPOILERS AHEAD)** Bobby and Lili share a cup of tea and Lili turns the mug so her lips touch the same spot his do, foreshadowing the first kiss she'll instigate many chapters later (though she'll forever say that Bobby instigated it). Lili tells Bobby early on that "people leave." And there are numerous scenes of him watching her walk away from him. All of it foreshadowing what happens after CA. Bobby tells Lili she should fall madly in love with him and she says it's a bad idea and he quotes a line from Thirty Rock, telling her there are no bad ideas. Only good ideas that go horribly wrong. Foreshadowing their relationship in the villa as a whole.

My favorite is when Noah grabbed Lili, threw her over his shoulder and walked off with her, saying, "Sorry Bobby, I'm stealing your girl," foreshadowing the disaster recoupling and something that happened later after the show between Lili and Noah. FYI I have a one shot for that one as soon as I post the last chapter of TSIME. It's both distressing and sexy. Thanks for the interrogation, Sarah 😝 You jerk.

"i'm lily," she said still cleaning up the mess but gave the other a small smile, "and i promise i'm not always this clumsy."

Marisol had arrived at the mall with some time to spare before she was going to meet up with her friends. She had decided to grab a cup of coffee and maybe get some studying done when she saw what happened one table over from her. With a handful of paper towels, she rushed over and started helping with the cleanup. "Hey, there's no need to be embarrassed, it happens to me all the time," she said with a small smile. "I'm Marisol, by the way. I promise I'm not some weirdo. Just a good samaritan."

The Personality Periods

The forty-eight personality periods, made up of twelve cusps and thirty six weeks, are units between six and nine days in length. Which Are The Best & Worst Combinations For You?

Conventional sun sign astrology has maintained that in general the best signs for you are ones that are trine to your sun sign (120 degrees away from your sign in the zodiac). In fact, this means that the signs that are of the same element as yours. In other words, if you are a Taurus (an earth sign), things should go well with Virgo and Capricorn, the other two earth signs. Similarly, all three water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces), the three air signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius), and the three fire signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) are recommended to each other. Although this theory makes sense, it does not always work in practice, particularly when it comes to sustaining interest over a long period of time. In fact, it often seems that the best combinations are ones that sun sign astrology rarely suggests: the two signs on either side of and the opposite of yours. For example, if you are a Taurus, it is not necessarily the other two earth signs but rather the sign before yours, Aries, the sign after yours, Gemini, and the sign opposite of yours, Scorpio, that are. good bet and your favourites. How The Relationships Are Revealed

Four primary but different tools were used to create the relationships profiles or combinations. The first was to draw a bead on what the relationship between two people is all about, its main energies or focus. This was crafted based on a traditional astrological tool called “the composite chart”, a fascination method propounded and endorsed by astrologer Robert Hand. It involves synthesis, in which a combination horoscope is made from the two originals. This composite chart is built up from a series of midpoints between the planets of the two individual charts. The composite or midpoint method creates a new chart for the relationship itself; it is viewed asa a new entity, with its own character, strengths and weaknesses: a synergy, if you will, of each person’s traits. Also employed was another traditional astrological tool called synastry. This second method involves examining both partners’ individual characteristics and comparing them point by point for compatibility. Thus we go from viewing the relationship as a discrete entity in itself to focusing on the individuals and their interaction. The third method used was to create an imaginary psychodrama, in which hypothetical individuals from two periods were allowed to interact. For example, by placing a theoretical prototype of a Gemini II and Scorpio III in a variety of situations (domestic, professional, intimate, etc.), their interaction could be viewed and studied psychologically. Finally, the biographical as well as personal information about well known couples and those personally known to the authors provided a reliable source of insight and most interesting observations. The relationship profiles presenting their core energies and tendencies were created. However, these could be applied to many different kinds of relationships, son. decision was made to look at five of those relationship types.

The Five Secret Language Relationship Categories

Love

Under this category are included intimate relationships ranging from platonic to romantic to sexual in nature. It should be noted that love means different things to different people. In addition, ever type of relationship probably involves some sort of love, to a greater or lesser extent. Yet to call a mother-son relationship, a sibling matchup or a friendship a love relationship does not seem appropriate. Therefore, love is used as the name of this category, without implying in any way that it lays claim to the emotion exclusively. Traditionally, a love affair is considered by psychologists as an entity limited in duration and more likely than not to eventually disintegrate, perhaps due to a lack of social commitment, involvement and support. These relationships tend to be characterized by an emotional intensity that may be difficult to sustain and an absence of reality-based thinking on the part of the partners. Many love relationships are kept hidden because of fear of disapproval or rejection, often familial in nature. The fact that such relationships tend not to have a realistic basis does not make them less likely to occur; on the contrary, it is often the incongruous and unimaginable that precipitates them taking place. Sexual attraction is discussed in this category for the most part. Yet romantic feelings are not in any way restricted to the erotic, and some romance can manifest itself in many of the personlogy combinations that have little to do with physicality. In most love relationships, psychological projection, replaying scripts from childhood, acting out, and a whole host of emotions including jealousy, anger, a desire to dominate and control, nurturing and protective impulses, violence, narcissism, idolatry and even worship struggle for the ascendancy. Maddening, exalting, thrilling, frustrating, the promise of love continues to drive human beings into these situations in their search for the perfect partner.

Marriage

In an age in which over half the marriages end in divorce, it is puzzling why so many people still get married. What is even more puzzling is why they take the oath to love each other exclusively in the light of statistics of infidelity. Yet marriage is a powerful social institution and the raising of children within the conjugal family unit is still the widely accepted norm. The Secret Language Of Relationships considers that the question of whether two people are suited for one another maritally is of vital importance, particularly if children are to be involved. Moreover, it cannot be assumed that love is always the main motivating factor in marriage or the one that holds such units together. The emphasis on this area is on pointing out matchup strengths having to do with shared values that are of a more practical, financial, social, intellectual and aesthetic nature.

Friendship

Deep friendships has elements of love and marriage built into it. Two friends can be extremely self-sufficient and not in need of much external input. Should such friends also be engaged in a professional ventures with each other, they may in fact spend much more time together than lovers or spouses. If one makes a list of close friends, it is quite likely that their birthdays are not spread out equally around the year but are clumped into certain areas. Request: riverdale cast x readerthe cast is snowed in for Christmas so they decide to celebrate the holiday together so they end up at readers house and they do secret Santa and all come together and cook a huge Christmas dinner together.FLUFFY AND HUMOROUS(as in cast I mean: lili, cole, kj, cami, drew, jordan, vanessa, madelaine, casey, charles, skeet, marisol, mark, & madchën.. basically the main cast)I might be forgetting someone so if you catch it just add them

hey! can you hear that? it’s the sound of mariah carey getting ready for christmas! i know it is nowhere near, but i’ve already started shopping so i thought, what the hell. anyway, enjoy! and merry early christmas also, just a little trigger warning: suicide joke so please don’t read if that upsets you

Not only is today Christmas Day, but it also marks the seventh day of the supposed three day storm.” The radio presenter’s voice is cheery, but you can hear the thinly veiled contempt that he’s desperately trying to hide. “All transport in and out of the city has come to halt, leaving everyone in Vancouver to wonder the same thing...will we be able to travel for the new year?” He finishes and Jordan boos, while Drew throws a tea towel over the small radio. 

You roll your eyes and pull it back off, handing it to Lili as she passes you in order to get to the oven and she sends you a grateful smile before joining Casey in order to help make the stuffing. 

Skeet comes in holding a large bowl and narrowly avoids bumping into Madelaine as she carries far too many bottles of wine into the living room, and you take a moment to just watch your friends. 

Despite them being miles away from their families, they’re all still smiling as they rush around your kitchen. 

“Please, for the love of God, someone turn that damn radio off before I take a carrot and through the heart and end it all.” Cole jokes and you roll your eyes at him, splashing him with some water as he shuffles around you and small giggle passes your lips when you watch him frown and ruffle his hair about. 

“Why would you want to traumatise Frosty like that?” Vanessa asks while placing a baby bottle on the bench before washing her hands. 

“I don’t know, maybe because he never gave the hat back...that’s theft?” He replies and the six of you stare at him confused. 

“Well, he melted so I think he got what he deserved.” You say after a few seconds, your eyebrows still furrowed as you share a confused look with Jordan and Drew. 

“Hmm, I dunno.” 

“Shut up and get back to peeling carrots.” Skeet interrupts him and slaps the back of his head gently. Cole turns around, ready to get his own back when Skeet pins him in a headlock and walks the two of them out of the kitchen and into the living where the rest of the cast are decorating and sorting presents out. 

“Get in touch! Tell us how you’re celebrating today. Maybe you and your neighbours are getting together, or maybe you’re zooming with the people you can’t be with.” 

“Zooming.” You snort. 

“Now, here’s Wham with Last Christmas!” 

“No!” Charles comes rushing in and switches the radio off, a wild look in his eyes and you stare at him alarmed. 

“Thank you!” Cole shouts from the living room. 

“What the hell?” 

“I’ve got a bet going on with my sisters that whoever goes the longest without hearing Wham, wins.” He explains and you shake your head at him and then a wicked smile comes to your lips and it’s his turn to look panicked. “No, no, no.” He says while watching you inch closer to the radio. “You guys need any help? No, great. Bye.” He says before quickly walking out. 

“This is a very small apartment Melton, I’ll get you.” You threaten before continuing washing some of the dishes you no longer need. 

“Come on, we’re opening presents.” Marisol smiles as she peeks her head around the door and before she’s even finished her sentence you’ve all stopped what you’re doing in order to open your presents. 

It’s a tight squeeze, and by the time you’ve made it into the living room, you can’t see an inch of floor that doesn’t have somebody sat in it, so you carefully step your way over to the tree, a few of your friends offering a helping hand and making sure to gently kick Mark’s legs as you pass which earns an annoyed grumble while he sticks his tongue out at you. 

“Okay!” You start. “I know this was really last minute so the only presents we have are things we could get at the gas station across the street and stuff from the bottom of my closet, but it’s the thought that counts...so Merry Christmas?” You shrug and everyone nods before opening their presents.

“Who bought me a cigar?” Jordan asks and Drew’s eyes widen as he takes it from him. The two of the squabble over it and you roll your eyes at them before continuing to open your own present. 

“Aw, thank you. You got my favourite candy!” 

“You’re welcome.” Vanessa replies and her eyes widen when she realizes what she’s just said. “I mean, it could have been anybody.” She adds, trying to save the situation and you smile at her. “Sorry, baby brain.” She mumbles and rushes to tear the the rest of the wrapping paper away from the box in her hand. “Condoms? Really?” She ask. Cole snorts beside her and she throws the box at his head in retaliation. 

“Toilet paper?” Nat asks and holds up one roll. 

“Sorry, it was the only thing I could find in Y/n’s bathroom.” Charles grins and she rolls her eyes at him. 

“Walkie-Talkies!” KJ’s eyes widen as he stares down at the gift in his hands and you all stare at him, surprised at the sudden outburst. “Y/n, where are your batteries?” 

“Bottom drawer in the kitchen.” You reply and he rushes off. 

“Well, at least someone’s happy.” Mädchen shrugs. 

“Clara won’t be when he takes them back home.” Marisol adds and the two women chuckle. 

“Y/n’s Teen Choice Award?” Casey asks and you all turn your attention to him. 

“Now you have one!” Drew teases and Casey glares at him. 

“Asshole.” He mutters. 

“Please, don’t throw that at him.” 

“Hey, guys, I think the food may be burning.” KJ says while strolling back into the living room and you all rush into the kitchen. You manage to turn the stove off just as the pan is about to boil over. Mark peaks into the oven and a smile graces his lips as he turns to face the rest of you. 

“I think we’re done!” 

“I know this isn’t how we expected to be spending Christmas this year, I should be having my after dinner nap by now.” Skeet starts his speech and looks around. All of you sit with paper crowns on your head and a mountain of food in front of you, and you’re all smiling, despite the sadness that lingers beneath the surface. 

“You’re such an old man.” Cami interrupts. 

“But, as far as bad Christmases go, this wouldn’t even crack the top ten. Because we’re not that far away from our families, the majority of it is sitting in this room...and the living room.” He says and glances over at you, Madelaine, KJ and Mädchen sat on the large sofas. 

“Sorry.” You mumble and look down at the plate of food your balancing on your knees. 

“We forgive you.” KJ grins and squeezes your shoulder making you giggle. 

The world may have stopped outside, but inside this apartment, you have everything you need, and it’s not the worst Christmas you’ve ever had. In fact, it’s pretty perfect.

“Hey Charles?” You ask and he hums in reply. “Have you heard of this new Christmas song?” He shakes his head, too busy focusing on his food to notice the beginning of Last Christmas playing through your speakers. 

His eyes widen as he looks at you and you send him a cheeky grin and hold your glass up to him. 

“Merry Christmas!”
