I'm slowly catching up to the present. And I’m having the hardest time posting on insta but... Week 08 ‘A Ginger Takes A Leap’ is here! the week my parents @mommyholly4 @ejp2992 came to visit me in New Zealand and we went bungee jumping and Lugging! Today I rode some of the best powder I’ve ever ridden on one of the iciest mountains in the world. Today’s the day I take off! I am completely overwhelmed by the love I’ve received from friends and family! Sometimes you think ‘ah they don’t care’ or ‘they’ll forget about me’ or ‘what I did doesn’t matter’ but the amount of cards, gifts, hugs, hang outs, games, prayers, etc has blown me away. (I was honored and blessed at the Friday assembly by the whole school & junior high for being the darned-est swim coach!) I truly love all of you sooo much and I already miss you guys. I am excited but nervous all at once. I’ve never traveled or been apart from my family more than two weeks so a couple a months is definitely going to stretch me ;). I have free texts but I’ll have limited internet and WiFi. Please keep me in your prayers and keep in contact. In every great hero’s tale the hero must leave the known to reach the extraordinary so this is me stepping out. (I’m just sad I had to finally retire the shield, but I’m taking God with me instead.) thank you for reading this long post.
