[a video starts: Lilly and Urania are sitting at a desk, a kitchen clock on the desk. The lavender color of the wall behind them seems to indicate that this is Lilly's room. Lilly seems excited in a curious way, while Urania seems bored.]

Lilly: to answer your question anon, no, she has not. Yet. I intend to fix that.

Urania: do we haaaveeee to?

Lilly: Look, if you fail, you can completely and truly say I was wrong about the powers. Say "I told you so" as many times as you want

Lilly: but if you do it.....

Urania:

Urania: if I do it... What?

Lilly: ... I mean, isn't having powers reward enough?

Urania: what.

Lilly: our parents lived such exciting lives and they got all sorts of interesting powers for it... Don't you want to join in on that too? To have powers of your own?

Urania: no????

Lilly: I would. I'd be enchanted to have powers of any kind. Maybe then....

Urania: maybe then?

Lilly: .... Nevermind. It's childish.

[Urania's gaze softens]

Urania: still, tell me? Please?

Lilly: .....

Urania: if you tell me, i'll do your clock experiment thingy

[Lilly perks up immediately]

Lilly: really?

Urania: really. But you have to tell me.

[Lilly stays silent and looks away for a moment.]

Lilly: don't you ever feel like our parents are keeping things from us?

Urania: Yes, all the time. So does every child in our family. Be more specific please.

Lilly: right- I just-

Lilly: doesn't it... Chafe at you?

Urania: ...... Sometimes

Lilly: Only sometimes?

Urania: I try not to think about it too much.

Lilly: See? They just- they keep things from us all the time like-

Lilly: Do they think we're stupid? That we can't handle it?

Lilly: Do they....

Urania: Your moms don't think you're stupid, Lilly.

[Lilly blinks, looking surprisedly at Urania for a moment. Then she scoffs.]

Lilly: Sure they don't. They keep things from me all the time.

Lilly: It's all "oh, you're too young to know!" "Oh, you shouldn't worry about that", "oh, but that won't apply to you, dear!"

Lilly: I'm not stupid... I'm not young or naive or-

Lilly: ......

Lilly: I don't know. It.... Irks me. I suppose.

Urania: I can see that.

Lilly: Alright. I spoke. Your turn.

Urania: Fiiiiine......

[Urania takes the clock into her hands]

Urania: What am I supposed to do now?

Lilly: You have to break it.

[Urania raises the clock, as if ready to smash it on the desk]

Lilly: No! Not like that!

[Urania glances at Lilly as if asking "then???"]

Lilly: I mean. With your powers. With your mind? I don't know. You can grab it. But don't use your hands or strength to break it. And... Try to break it in a way that can't be mistaken for something else?

Urania: .... You did not think this through did you?

Lilly: (defensive) Okay look-

Lilly: ....

Lilly: no I didn't.

Urania: hah.

Urania: ....

Urania: I'll try, then.

[Urania puts her hands on the sides of the clock, which ticks, ticks, ticks on and on]

[the clocks moves steadily, until-]

[the camera starts to glitch slightly]

[the clock stops]

[the clock.... Starts to run backwards?]

[The glitching fades out completely. The clock keeps running backwards]

[Lilly looks at the clock with an amazed expression on her face. Besides her, Urania stares blankly]

Lilly: ....

Lilly: woah

Lilly: Urania! Did you see that? It was so amazing! I- clocks definitely don't do that, do they?

[Lilly attempts to grab the clock, but hisses and drops it, shaking her hand as if it were burnt]

Lilly: hng- that was-! How did you not burn yourself with it-

[Lilly grabs Urania's hands for a moment, before a look of alarm crosses her face]

Lilly: Your hands are so warm- Urania?

[Urania stares out ahead blankly. Her eyes seem dazed, as if she's not completely there.]

Lilly: .....Urania?

[Lilly puts a hand on Urania's forehead]

Lilly: You're burning up- I-

Urania: [dazed] mhm?

Lilly: stay here, I'll bring you some water and ice.

[Lilly leaves the camera range quickly, and the sound of a door opening and closing sounds. The video continues. Urania lays her head on the desk, sweating and breathing heavily, looking as if in pain.]

[Lilly comes back, and gives Urania some cool water.

Lilly then ends the video.]

What are your favorite foods?

Urania: ohhh that's such an interesting question! anything mum makes is absolutely delicious, so I never think too much about it

Urania: i do prefer more sharp tastes, like lemon or mint!

Urania: i would like to eat more spicy things but I have a very very very very bad spice tolerance (⁠╥⁠﹏⁠╥⁠)

Oriana: observation > you can barely touch uncle daves food before your face gets all flushed and youre crying

Urania: oh also! my mum's hot chocolate. Eleven stars outta ten it tastes very very very good.

Lilly: There's this one bakery near my house.

Dulce: Aw, Lilly that's so sweet! I didn't know that about you?

Lilly: I do not usually choose to tell things like that without due reason.

Dulce: I enjoy anything mom makes.

Dulce: Mom so rarely has enough time to cook for the both of us, and it really is no problem, since I can cook for myself!

Dulce: But nothing I make tastes as good as what she makes for me....

Dulce: I think I enjoy her soup the most, if I must be honest.

Dulce: Whenever I was sick as a child. she would make sure she could stay at home and take care of me.

Dulce: She would make me that soup, and I would get better in no time!

Dulce: I don't get sick as often anymore, though.

Dulce: I wonder.....

Dulce: Well, it doesn't matter.

Lyone: i want you to imagine me as a little fledgling-kit, maybe 2 and a half sweeps of age, and a bag of frozen raspberries taller than i was

Lyone: troublemaking kitty-bird that i am, naturally I saw the raspberries and, well....

Lyone: let's just say my clothes were covered in raspberry juice and my face even more so. i got sooo sick

Dulce: My posters. Whenever I feel stressed, I like to lay down on the floor and imagine my favorite characters cheering me on. It is quite motivating =D!

Lilly, what do you think of Lyone?

Lilly: I'll say what I think- I do not know why others think their puns are so terrible.

Lilly: Puns are lovely. I may not do them myself, but that doesn't keep me from understanding their worth

Lilly: They require possession of an ample vocabulary, as well as the ability to connect words to other, phonetically similar words.

Lilly: Puns are an exercise in double entendres, the ability to mix a word with another to give it more meaning. As a poet, I can recognize the skill that takes.

Lilly: When done right, something like that can be....

Lilly: Quite meowvelous indeed.

Lilly: Heh.

Lilly: Even if some puns are better than others.

Lilly: Lyone is my cousin. They're quite reliable, yet still fun to be around.

Lilly: I enjoy spending time with them. I know the rest of my family feels much the same.

Lilly, what do you like to do with your friends?

Lilly: With my friends?

Lilly: I enjoy composing poetry, for starters.

Lilly: Sometimes we will all look around on some dictionary or thesaurus web-page.

Lilly: We will find an atypical word, and they'll challenge me to make a poem about it.

Lilly: It is an entertaining way to exercise my poetic abilities, I must say.

Lilly: I also enjoy the analysis of dreams.

Lilly: I am not like Rose. I do not believe one can come to understand a person simply through "Freudian slips" or coincidences like that.

Lilly: (scoff) Who even is Freud, anyway?

Lilly: Dreams are their own language, and I enjoy deciphering their messages.

Lilly: Sometimes they tell me things about my friends. Sometimes, they mean nothing.

Lilly: But my friends like it when I analyze their dreams, so long as I do not get too personal.

Lilly: It's fine. I can keep my observations private.

Lilly: Other than that.....

Lilly: Me and Jadir enjoy using dolls and the like in order to alter them to fit our desires. He likes theater, so in certain occasions we will reenact plays from Old Earth.

Lilly: I know how to sew, so I usually make the clothes. He paints the details, such as the faces.

Lilly: I like it. He's of the few who does not say I take after my jade-mom for liking sewing....

Lilly: Erm.

Lilly: Yes. I believe those are it. I have other hobbies, but I indulge them in private.
