The lore surrounding Lilith is wide and cannot be truly known. But women have used the goddess in the feminist movement and a deity in witchcraft.

Known as the first wife of Adam, made in the same way he was, Lilith wanted to be Adam's equal. And yet, he did not want that. Cast out of Eden for her independence; the stories blur here. Some say she married Lucifer and became the Mother of Demons.

Whatever her story was, it is known synonymously with women's independence and empowerment.

And as Lilith was cast out, another wife was made for Adam. Straight from his rib. In doing so, it gave him a certain dominance over her. Which is still used in arguments today. "If god wanted women equal, he would have made them so. Except Eve was made from man.'

It's a ridiculous argument. One that doesn't make sense. Since the dawn of time, it was a mother's womb that life was created. No man's rib had ever been involved.
