okay so maybe it isn't perfect and doesn't exactly fit the prompt but i wanna TALK ABOUT THEM!! so i will. ,... so scott technically isn't my oc, he's my landline au (that started as a crack fic) version of phone guy. but i've given him so much personality and backstory that he's BASICALLY my oc.. so i don't care!

these two have been bffs for YEARS btw, they're like siblings and i love them so very much

scott's moodboard/prompt related explanation: [faceclaim is from the adriabun picrew!] scott has been working with freddy's for years, and he has gone through his fair share of terrible awful things with this company. he sorta likes his job, at least the part where he's able to be around the kids and animatronics. he and azrael both like coffee, and their maine coon cats (which were part of the same litter) are named after different drinks. he hates being called "phoney", a nickname that a lot of the staff has picked up since he did the training tapes and, as assistant manager, does interviews over the phone and things like that. he's always loved the animatronics, even after being witness to the "Bite of '87", something that (spoiler alert) someone he cared about was involved in. he LOVES foxy the pirate fox, and could rant about that thing for hours. also he really likes pizza, even though he's been eating the freddy's stuff for years! ... but he really hates blood. the smell of it reminds him too much of the bite.

azrael's moodboard/prompt related explanation: [faceclaim is addison grace (he/they), a music artist i listen to!] azrael (they/them) works at the prize counter at freddy's thanks to scott, and they really love their job there. they're also a type of person who just kinda "loves love", they're really friendly and don't like having things against people or anything like that. however, they do not like when you mess with their loved ones and they will probably at least hurt you socially by spreading around things that are true. crazy, lowkey. they're a big gossip and can keep a secret until they need to share it. they also aren't a huge fan of being neglected or talked over, it reminds them too much of being around their biological parents. as mentioned above, they really like coffee. they're a big collector of "kid's toys" and vintage items, which is a reason why working at the prize counter is so cool to them. very big fan of the color magenta and their best friend, scott.

Landline AU: It started as this big crack-fic thing; a joke with my friends about "a Phone Guy x Reader, how would that even work? he has no personality!" ... and then i got way too attached and this big story has become almost my whole life. some of my best writing, even. River is technically from this universe too, with her being Scott's daughter. It's a little nuts, if you ask me. I work on it,, ALL the time... Y/N is basically their own character at this point.. save me.

so i was trying to figure out where the HELL everything would even be in the restaurant, um.. i tried to use my extensive knowledge of old animatronic restaurants to set it up but like,, i have no idea what i'm doing.

in the landline au, i imagine that this is the original Freddy's location, like the first one. NOT the diner though, like... this is its own thing, this is the first specifically Freddy Fazbear's Pizza location. you know? (it explains the safe room and.. things within it)

Thinking abt Soshiro who gets dragged into movie nights with me. He lets out a sigh knowing I'll pick a horror movie— since that's what I usually pick and psychoanalyze the characters + rate the cinematics. However, there are rare moments that I do get scared and start clinging to him. He absolutely enjoys it each time and has fun teasing me before comforting me.

tangent time: so i'm going grey. I'm nearly 30 and i have a large chunk of greys at the front of my head and i fuckin love it. it's a Mediterranean thing, apparently, so i'm not shocked. my mom's first reaction upon seeing my hair was "oh are you gonna dye it?"

the FUCK i am bro. i feel hot as hell with a bunch of greys!!!! i'm not even old!!!! imagine my power when i'm 40 with a long, solid grey streak in my hair? holy shit i'll be unstoppable

idk if it's my aggressive homosexuality or my mommy issues overall but its just like??? let women age. who fucking cares. skin will wrinkle and spot. hair will dull and grey. it's how the passage of time shows on a person and i think it's great. smile lines. crows feet. grey hairs. it's all sick, like the rings of a tree.

it's so fun to think about how the admiral basically admits to running away from his problems

he gets in an argument and is gone the next day on an 'investigation' and the character i've created is skilled enough to quite literally hunt his down when they get to that point.

been working on landline/landline related stuff since literally like 6pm yesterday it has been 12 hours nearly non-stop (minus a few trips to my twitter for you page).. i am two monster energy drinks in; i have work at 1pm.

great news though: chapter 9: "See You on the Flipside!" is published!
