It’s kinda upsetting that I only have two Dogman books left. I know Big Jim Begins came out revealing so there might be more after that, but I kinda don’t want to the cat kid comic club books.

Don’t get me wrong I love Lil’Petey, but I’ve grown so attached to Petey that I don’t know if I want to read something where he’s not a main protagonist.

I redrew a panel Dog Man: For Whom the Ball Rolls

holy shit this book, I love it but it gets really rough really quickly. We find out that Petey had an abusive father that left him as a kid, and considering that this is the first book co-written by Harold, this is concerning-

From book 9 of Captain Underpants, we know that Harold’s parents got a divorce that he still hadn’t recovered from. We didn’t know anything about the father, but considering Petey’s backstory, this seems to be implying that Harold’s father was actually abusive, instead of it just being the case of the marriage between him and Harold’s mom not working out. It seems that his father was not only verbally abusive, but even physically abusive (or at least extra destructive), as we see Petey and Lil’Petey cowering while Grampa “accidentally” smashes dinnerware.

Idk if I’m gonna do more of these in the future, but if I do, it’s probably gonna be a more lighthearted panel-

A weird dream I had

Okay so sometimes I have dreams about animations I will “plan to do in the furture” lol, and yesterday I had a dream about Petey singing Won’t Say I’m In Love from Disney’s Hercules. You know the song. The back ground singers were of course Lil’Petey and 80HD telling Petey how he was in love with Dogman and all that stuff. Idk why I had a dream like that I ship Petey and Piggy
