12/13/23 update.

Got around to the mentions of Shanspeare and Matt Baume and of Alexander Avila (one of the as examples of “what if James Somerton but good”.

I’m also at time of writing listening to his positive encouragement of how to be inspired by other creators. Sharing of ideas is critical for collective progress, which is part of the reason why it’s so bad when you do sh*t like this.

I think is kinda weird and telling how hard Ali, her family and friends are working to keep her ‘narrative’ and go to places like Sophia and ashlyn fan pages and socials to ‘fight’ people on it. She had multiple chances to tell her truth and she did, but she’s know saying she didn’t??? Like make it make sense.

Ashlyn and Sophia have done one interview each and we’re willing to be honest with their ‘truth’ and like ashlyn said, everyone had their own truth and that’s fine. But ashlyn/Sophia their friends and family aren’t putting in all this work to make sure their narrative is accepted and poor importantly no one on ashlyn or Sophia’s side is made mouthing the other party unlike kriegers. Ali seem very pr and image obsessed, she has to be viewed as perfect. Sophia and ashlyn have every right to tell their side just as much as Ali has (and now continuing to do)

Clearly there are two sides to the story.

But what struck me as most odd now is that Instagram post AK made.

If you know it's not "true" what your ex said in a podcast, why do you release a statement like that? Why ask for privacy and respect? Like you said , she's saying she didn't say her truth? 🤔

This whole thing is so weird. I mean, if you told "your truth, your side of the story" in a bunch of interviews and articles, why act like that after your ex did an interview telling her side of the story?

My seatmate (let's just call her Ra) is a freaking protagonist.

And I'm not joking.

For context, Ra is not a popular girl, but also not the quiet kid. She is honestly so kind, literally an angel. Your everyday heroine.

So, one day, one of my friends said that a new student is interested in me. It was the beginning of a new year of junior high school (nine grade), and we just got a new kid.

And let me tell you, he is such a love interest material! Instantly, he became popular, he was smart and athletic. He is your average wattpad boy.

My friend say, he always looks at me when I'm not looking. BUT! Next to me is Ra, and I honestly don't believe he likes me that way. Because I've seen wayyy too many novels and movies like this to believe that crap.

And I was fucking right.

One day, our teacher give us a group project and one group must have 4 people, and he approach me to offer me and Ra to team up with him and his friend.

For the sake of simplicity, let's just call the love interest Fit and the friend Di.

So we meet up at Di house (more like our school so we can go together to Di house because his house is the nearest), and I swear to god I feel like watching some romcom.

They were bickering with each other, Fit always teased Ra, and Ra counter his tease back. I genuinely feel like a third wheel.

And that Ra trip over a rock, and Fit CATCH HER AND THEY STARE AT EACH OTHE RLIKE THEY LOST IN THEIR OWN WORLD!

LIKE AHEM! I'M STILL HERE YOU KNOW?!

And that is how Di found us, with Fit still holding Ra and me looking at them with my mouth hanging open.

Of all genre I can live with, it has to be A ROMANCE NOVEL!!!!

Whether you're for or against AI art, one thing I will say is that it's more difficult to work with than what people give it credit for. I tried to have an AI app make a reference for my OC so I could draw him myself or have him commissioned once I get money (bc I suck shit at coming up w fantasy outfits) and it kept spitting out things that looked nothing like what I wanted. I genuinely don't know how people do it. It would be easier for me to have just tried drawing myself than doing trial and error with prompts.

strike sees so much of his home in amaurot. his secret longing to belong somewhere in a way that’s guranteed would draw him to it before he’d quickly remember why he left. and he’s so jacked up anyways that even if someone loved him with the sole condition that he was born with a certain soul he’d not believe it and grow paranoid and feel alienated about it anyways. for what it’s worth he does have confidence in the sum of his parts and has worked very hard to be who he is; if you said Well I love you because of your soul he’d be likewtf do you even mean. What do you mean by that. he feels ultimately like his “soul” would be a changing undefined thing and because he can’t quantify it or control it that it’s unreliable and if it was just a visible thing other people could see and reach straight for he’d almost feel violated because it’s not something he’d want to bare to everyone. but he still wants to be loved in a guranteed, born-into way. it’s like wishing for a boat for him it sounds nice but in reality the upkeep is annoying and unless you make a living off of it there’s not much use in it
