im going trough hard mode right now and im genuinely suprised by 31-16. it gives a lot of dept to both simeon and diavolo, in ways i dont think the main story does. its very unfortunate that these 'deeper' moments are locked behind a harder path because THAT is what we need for good characters.

diavolo openly admiting to simeon that he doesnt like him/has trouble dealing with him is something main story dia would never ever do. seeing simeons serious side both gives more insight to his character AND makes him more mysterious. the way simeon reacts to barbatos says a lot about their relationship and about themselves. this is the stuff i want in the main story.
