interesting how they directly parallel gumbald and pb… and pb’s only rebuttal to “we’re alike” is “but youre bad!!”
#tbh i get why ppl dont like pb but i dont get why ppl say it makes her a poorly written character#like. aside from weird early season shit with finn (that most female characters fell into) it never felt like the show was excusing her act#she gets exiled at one point bc her people hate her and shes got several enemies#who aren’t antagonists and are just regular candy citizens#and part of her arc is about becoming a better person and not shutting people out and treating people better#she can be very unlikable and i get that completely. but shes not evil or poorly written#and ppl arent like. problematic for liking her idk#but yeah the show directly comparing her to her uncle makes it kinda clear shes not 100% pure#echoed voice#at lb
