1. You’ve eaten propeganda against leftism and dissent against capitalism right up. You are sitting here preaching about not thinking critically about shit and consuming propeganda, while actually being such fucking dumbasses that you think “tumblr culture” is created by spooky Russian spies. You’re a fucking idiot for thinking that like 80 supposed spy blogs on this stupid website had some major impact on how everyone thinks. Theres a reason tumblr made a big show of deleting a handful of supposed spies while they ignore fascists and pedophiles on here daily; the people pressuring tumblr to do that literally just want to watch y’all accuse every leftist, pro-black or liberal-critical person you see of being spies.

2. Fucking Russia isn’t Soviet anymore genius. Russia isn’t communist, its not even leftist. Its capitalist, its ruled by oligarchs. I never give a shit about these type of “uwu tumblr cancelled culture is toxic” posts, because while there have been some cases obvious of misinformation and false callouts, honestly lmafo most of the time when people say someone is cancelled, its for good reason. These posts about how tumblr is toxic harsh and unforgiving sound good in theory but they’re almost always written by some loser who got called out for bein racist or some shit.

The only good part about this post is the part about putting people on a pedestal, but only because people always are putting the most mediocre rich white “feminists” up there. Y’all getting shocked later when Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Laurence and Taylor Swift turn out to be racist or generally annoying and entitled isn’t the fault of tumblr being to harsh on them for being #human.

Usually when people condemn people for one “little” tweet or something, its not even that thing itself that causes the distrust and hate for that person, its their reaction to being questioned or called on it. Too often big ego ass celebs who have their image of being #woke gone to their head can’t believe someone would point out a human flaw and a time they said something not so great, and they react by chastizing people for being “sensitive” or “dramatic” and have their whole fan base aggressively going after the poc or trans people or whomever brought up the issue, no matter how nicely they did so. That to me is the most telling thing about a person, is whether or not they take criticism gracefully. Most of the time, people who do are respected by most even if they’ve made quite a few little mistakes, and people who freak out at criticism are the ones who are cancelled.
