I really cannot tell you how much I don’t care that rwrb started out as social network rpf
#every single post is like ‘PEOPLE MUST BE AWARE OF THIS’#like it’s some kind of gotcha#but I could not possibly give less of a shit#like? okay? cmq wrote fanfiction? alright! so do/did a lot of published writers!#and honestly the characterization seems different enough that it wasn’t more than a jumping off point if anything#I felt similarly about the love hypothesis#like I didn’t particularly enjoy it but also it really didn’t feel like reylo at all based on characterization#it was mostly the cover art and the fact that the male lead was obviously supposed to be adam driver#idk man I feel like I’m in the minority on this but I genuinely could not care less if a bestselling book started out as fanfiction#let writers get their start writing fic and then if they want to pursue it as a career then what’s wrong with that!!!
