this is rambling to like me and two people that follow me but:

ok so i knew something was off with that gold rathian screenshot, because while the texture texture quality matches that of mhworld gold rathian in that game:

does not show up in the coral highlands (which you can recognize it is because of the ground)

does not have this color tone.

so i went looking around out of curiosity (and based on an old memory while browsing mods)

turns out that screenshot is from a pre-iceborne mod that reskinned pink rathian into gold rathian instead of being a screenshot of now-actually-in-the-game gold rathian

just thought it was a neat find 👍
