#shitposting#fandomry rambles#the one time I broke the rule mico and edgar got pretty much ruined for me#and it was stupidly hard to recover them in my eyes#reading fanfics is just not 'cOnSuMiNg CoNtEnT' for me#it is extremely important thing for me and I invest my heart and wrap my mind around it#like you saw my lore essays and headcanons? I get invested and think VERY hard about what I am reading#that's why I can't afford investing into a fanfic unless I feel safe#which happens only if either 1) ficwriter is a no-presence in the fandom and unaccessible for communication by default#2) they specifically invited me to read their story and wanted *my* feedback or#3) they're very close friend who made a pact with their blood to not ghost or betray me#it is also my strong sensitivity to verbal communication itself#like I can't describe how much something well written means for me and how strong emotions I feel
