trying to get into gluten free bread because sandwiches are really the easiest thing to pack for lunch. but it's so annoying because if you have enough flavorful ingredients it can kind of taste like a normal sandwich, but only if that normal sandwich was made with like, stale garbage bread ......
#like you can aaalmost ignore the flavor of the bread in your mind but the texture is just. unavoidable#the only way to mitigate this is to toast it but that doesnt really work when you pack it for later. AND toasted it often leaves a texture#that will slough the skin right off the roof of your mouth#because it's harder/tougher than regular wheat bread
