Wild for this to come from me of all people considering the levels of world building I have gone into for some of my projects but, like, if you're writing a fantasy story...the point, to some extent, is that it isn't realistic and we don't have to worry about things being 100% Realistic And Accurate.

Don't want to think about economic systems in your high fantasy story? Don't.

Don't have a scientific explanation for how dragons can fly and breathe fire? There's all kinds of natural phenomena we can't explain in the real world, go nuts with it.

Referred to a king or queen as "Highness" instead of "Majesty"? Literally does not matter.

Again. Wild for this to come from me. But the older I get the more I look at fun little fantasy stories and think, "Am I having a good time? Then it's good enough." Obviously if you want to make everything as realistic and accurate as possible because that is enjoyable to you then by all means!! But if you just want a self-indulgent little story then also, by all means!!!!

👀 Gordon amputation HCs? (If you don't mind talking about them!)

ok disclaimer: I am not an amputee! I am not a medical professional! I am not a prosthetic maker! I am not an engineer! I am simply an autistic writer and artist who has had a webcomic with an amputee character for 5+ years and I have done my research- but PLEASE if you like these headcanons and use it as advice for writing amputees I would also suggest listening to other sources, too!

The prosthetic:

-the arm ends about maybe like five inches under the wrist- which makes it just enough to get basic prosthetics going. Something a LOT of people don't consider is how much space you need to get robotics in there!

-This is the case for everyones(?i have yet to see otherwise) headcanons whether they know it or not but he specifically has a myoelectric prosthetic- which in itself is an EXTREMELY high-tech one! What it does is it detects electricity(YES! YOUR MUSCLES HAVE ELECTRICITY IN THEM!) from the muscles under your skin and amplifies them to be movement!

I would actually HIGHLY suggest people do research into these prosthetics because they are SUPER cool but also not as good as you think they are! That being said:

-He cannot feel with it and has to guess how hard he has to grip something! There's research for prosthetics like this, but they're extremely faulty and- if anyone wants to correct me on this that's fine but I'm pretty sure- it would need Constant upkeep and repairs, ESPECIALLY if it could feel like a normal hand.

-at first he only used it when he went out and when he was doing something that might need two hands Because of this- he didn't really wear it much around the house. Not to mention like...he went from losing it, to an immediate gun arm, to suddenly having a prosthetic- whiiiich. Isn't good for the psychological part of a traumatic amputation! So yeah he didn't really like it all too much at first. Don't get me wrong it was a great tool and he appreciated it over no hand especially because he could actually properly articulate the fingers but...it also just. Was jarring.

-eventually, he and Dr. Coomer teamed up to make it more adaptable, and by that I mean a fucking pirate-ass thing where he could swap out his hand for other things like forks or electric screwdrivers or like. Anything. They like to get together to make new hands on the weekend. It's enrichment. With these add-ons he wore the prosthetic more, but sometimes he just. prefers taping a fork to his limb and calling it a day.

-^this hc is based off of adaptive devices that people make to work with whats left of the limb instead of trying to replace it! They range from other robotics to something plastic and/or 3d printed that just holds a pencil in place. From what I've researched they tend to be more liked than clunky fingers you cant feel lol

-IF THERE IS ANY ADVICE YOU GLEEN FROM THIS: please please please he doesn't sleep with his prosthetic on he SHOULD NOT SLEEP WITH HIS PROSTHETIC ON. DO NOT SLEEP WEARING YOUR PROSTHETIC- this also goes for just chilling out ect. Do you "chill out" in your jeans with a belt on?

-I've said it a few times already but I DO want to encourage other people who draw art or write fics that it's OKAY if his prosthetic doesn't work like a perfect, new hand and in fact is more realistic and something that should be done more often! It's very common to want to write off an amputees disability with "ok now they have a prosthetic they're all better <3" which isn't true at all and it really IS worth it to do some extra research- I might just have an engineering and medical special interest so it might just be me but its SUPER fun to learn things and it makes it more interesting writing how a character interacts with their disability!

The amputation/specifics(WARNING FOR TALK ABOUT GORE, OBVIOUSLY):

-I usually write/draw it being a combat knife because that's specifically what he mentions was used, but realistically it would've been something that could get through the suit itself. Either way, it was a really slow and painful process. Fun fact- while this is like...a debate in the medical field, the forearm is one of the most painful things in the body to break!

-Continuing from that last part, there ARE a lot of nerves in your forearm(ever hit your funnybone? yeah. yowch), as well as TWO bones. Arms and hands are SUPER complex so injuries are...just As complex!

-In the full VOD in act 3, Gordon mentions his suit cauterized it- which if you dont know what that is- it's basically Burning A Wound Shut. I can see this being the case, actually- seeing as the suit itself detects specific things in the body being injured- electricity IS a way to cauterize something. I want to point out that cauterization, however, is AGONIZINGLY PAINFUL and is SUPER DANGEROUS, even when controlled! He's SUPER lucky he didn't go into shock and die in his sleep lmao.

-Oh speaking of sleep. I said this in another post but it was sunset when they betrayed him- and daytime when he woke up. So he was asleep in the garbage compactor for hours.

-It's implied because he keeps talking about how he's still bleeding, but yeah even with the suit cauterizing the wound it wouldn't be fully shut. So he'd be bleeding a lot- ESPECIALLY if it didn't want to kill the nerves in his arm(which makes prosthesis easier in the future, via the myoelectric method I mentioned earlier).

-Because of this Tommy(and later Dr. Coomer and Bubby) had to make him make-shift wrappings and have him lean on them a lot. He lost a Lot of blood and by the time they found a fully functioning medical station it wasn't able to just...give him more. It could give him iron and such but yeah this guy has anemia.

-this is just a really funny note but in act 4 when he's leaving Darnolds lab in the VOD he goes "well I guess I'm able-bodied again!" NO YOU ARE NOT THAT IS GUNHAND. But anyways because of this statement, I think for the first few days after being without his arm hes like. oh im not really disabled though even though he is like. stereotypically disabled. sir

-Phantom pains and nightmares are. A nearly nightly combo.

-Whether they're triggered by something or not, phantom pains in general suck so so so so much. Just so much.

-He actually took a Long time to go to a doctor for his issues. Gordon. Buddy. Look Me In The Eyes. you can get medicine for your pain. you can take physical therapy. please . He wasnt even trying to like...tough it out like part of him was but it was mostly that he just. didnt know and forgot.

-it took him a really long time to trust Benrey touching where his hand used to be, but once they grew close post-rescas him and Tommy became Gordons go-to for phantom pain/itch help. slap my dumb arm thank you

Aaaand thats all I can think of at the moment! I might add on if I have any like. Sudden crushing things I need to say about him and my amputation hcs!

Anime NYC 2023 - I Still Have a Place

What a weekend.

Anime NYC 2023 just ended and while there were a few things I didn't like, I really enjoyed my time there this year. And more importantly, it was a personal epiphany for me.

I started the weekend by attending the Viz Media panel. There weren't really any significant announcements, but Yoshifumi Tozuka, the creator of Undead Unluck, stopped by and he was great. It was a teaser of his own panel the following day, but Tozuka-sensei did enlighten fans about Undead Unluck and how he wanted to present the series to fans worldwide.

After that, I went to the Autism in the Anime Fan Community panel. This was a live panel version of the "Autism in the Anime Fan Community - Solo Version" video by James Williams, an anime fan diagnosed with autism and a public speaker on autism awareness. James has been doing the panel at various conventions over the past couple of years. It was a very raw and vulnerable panel on the challenges those with autism face at conventions. James also had a special guest, Larissa Grabois, an artist who uses music and art to teach people about children living with autism. She has music videos and books pertaining to autism on her website and I will be paying very close attention. This provided much food for thought.

After that, I didn't stick around for the night panels. Though It was nice to hear Denpa license the ODDTAXI manga as I know people who adored the anime when it came out.

So onto Saturday, I went to the Yen Press panel and was impressed with what they did. They did a fun "Know the Editors" section alongside their announcements, where each editor would promote a title they work on and provide "Useful Nihongo" (which isn't actually useful in a regular context) to use. It was pretty funny to see. Yen Press also gave a shout out to The Summer Hikaru Died, which I yelled "YES!" to. Not many of the new titles they licensed caught my eye, but the one that did was She Likes Gays, But Not Me. I will say this - the manga isn't a romantic comedy and that's why I can't wait for its release in 2024.

Afterwards, I went to the Dark Horse Manga panel. There wasn't really anything new announced per say, but they did promote the latest Deluxe Edition of Berserk and the 1st omnibus of Innocent coming out very soon. Also, Carl Horn and Zack Davisson are truly the manzai duo of the manga industry scene. They have a very fun chemistry that really takes the best of both of their personalities and mixes them into something you really don't see in manga publisher panels. Both also know A LOT about comics in general. If you ever get a chance to see a Dark Horse Manga panel, do it. Carl and Zack really make worth it your while.

I didn't stick around for the later panels on Saturday night, but I know the Kodansha Manga panel that happened that night was great. There's a LOT of fun stuff coming out from them in the future. Blue Lock has become arguably THE big mainstream manga hit of 2023. I love a lot of their titles as their stories are often ones I value highly. What I'm looking forward from them? Home Office Romance (which was REALLY popular in the manga Reddit) and Sheltering Eaves (Another Rie Aruga story? Sign me up).

On Sunday, I only attended the Star Fruit Books panel. I got to learn a lot about the company being there and it was actually a small group of people who attended. So it made for a more intimate experience compared to other industry panels. Even though the publisher started during COVID, they have made huge strides in being an strong publisher of independent manga (alongside Denpa). I actually inquired about them possibly licensing manga stories from indie creators about mental health/illness because I have heard there's a lot of manga out there in Japan that covers those topics.

After that, I was done with everything. I did manage to get some nice items from booths and played mahjong with the Riichi Nomi club.

I think the convention was fine for the most part. It was crowded, but I didn't feel overwhelmed. I always had space to move around. The only things that stood out to me were that some of the panel rooms were a bit too warm to my liking and that the gaming area just felt too tight. In particular, mahjong. My club's presence last year had a good amount of space for mahjong. This year, we were relegated to the show floor and to a far end corner of the convention center. I hope this changes next year.

(Side note: NYC public transit on the weekend continues to suck ass. Why have a train stop right next to the convention center when weekend construction would prevent trains from stopping there? Sigh.)

And speaking of next year, Anime NYC 2024 will happen in the summer - August 23-25, 2024. It's going to be the bang that ends summer convention season in the U.S. after Anime Expo, San Diego Comic-Con and Otakon. There's definitely concerns about the timing, but they will have the FULL convention center at their disposal. I don't mind honestly as I dislike going to a convention when it's happening a month before winter starts.

Anyway, I'm going to finally make a reference to the headline of my post. For those of you who read my birthday post, anime and manga don't seem to inspire me a great deal lately. Getting into mahjong was one of the best things I did for my mental health over the past 2 years. Despite being a manga blogger, I was becoming more of a mahjong addict.

However, when I arrived to the con on Friday, I was greeted by a manga journalist/colleague that I hadn't seen in years. It was a surprise to see them and we caught up. We had a wonderful discussion about manga, comics and pop culture.

And then on Saturday, I got to meet people I followed on Twitter that I never met in person. I even reunited with a few blogger folks along the way. We talked about manga and convention trends that made me smile. I also met up with Anime for Humanity (who I volunteered in the past) and finally met its founder at the event. I even reunited with a local Japanese culture personality that I hadn't talked to in years. It felt really cool.

To cap it off, I finally reunited with Peter Tatara, who was working the Japan Society booth. For those who don't know, he is the founder of Anime NYC and now Director of Film at Japan Society New York. He also has a long and established history of promoting anime in New York. When I first started my foray into anime fandom in 2008, it was Peter who MCed events at the Kinokuniya NYC store that got me hyped. We worked together at those events a few times due to a mutual connection we both shared. Even though he's a huge and very busy personality now, Peter would take the time to talk to me in years past. We both shared laughs and talked about how long we known each other.

Ever since I got so deep into mahjong, I questioned my place in the manga fan community. I wasn't active as much on Twitter as other online manga personalities these last few years. While I do get hyped, I don't get heavily excited covering manga license announcements. I don't have a huge manga collection at home. I struggle to keep up with everything.

And then someone at the con told me that because of my interest in what's happening the world regarding mental health problems that plague communities, I still bring a certain view that's unique and refreshing to hear. After meeting and reuniting with a bunch of faces, I can't leave the manga blogging scene. I just can't. I love talking about manga so much still. Mahjong still has a place in my heart, but there's nothing that gets me going like talking about the stories and characters that shape people's lives.

What's more important is that being around the industry/pros/press folks I was with at Anime NYC tell me that I still have a place here. I may not be attending everything manga-related, but I want to be the person from the shadows who talks about things that definitely deserve to be heard. Besides, it's much cooler doing things in the shadows than being in the spotlight.

An old friend I saw at the convention on Sunday said that I looked the happiest I've been in years. Mahjong definitely played a huge part in that and I want to bring that energy back into my manga blogging.

I've been going to conventions for 15 years now. So many people in my life that I met via conventions have come and gone. People that I wish were still here. I have often felt lonely. Being 41 now also doesn't help either.

And yet, I keep meeting new people at conventions like Anime NYC who inspire me and value my take on things. I may not be living the best life, but I'm definitely happy-ish with what I have now. And that's all I ever wanted to ask for.

Also, thank you to everyone I talked to at Anime NYC. I'm now really ready for the 2nd half of my life.

Mass Effect 2 replay, exploring the Crescent Nebula:

Normandy

-Miranda says that Niket was safe and comfortable. He didn’t want anything from Miranda. He was a good friend.

Quite a high compliment from a woman raised by a demanding father and who works for Cerberus. Miranda’s father used everyone and everything against her, but he couldn’t use Niket (until he could). Niket was safe.

And Jacob is evidence of the norms in Ceberus; he’s leery of everyone because everyone in Cerberus is underhanded. But Niket wasn’t like that – until he turned on Miranda in part because she is like that. His feelings of betrayal that Miranda didn’t trust him definitely drove some of his actions.

It’s sad. Miranda tried to keep her Niket separate from the rest of her life, but that made the fallout worse when he did learn about it.

-It’s important for Miranda to make sure Oriana has what she did not. A normal life, the freedom to choose her future.

A bit ironic, since Oriana is her genetic twin: Miranda is making sure her other self gets the life she wanted for herself.

I’d say she’s living vicariously through Oriana, except she’s emphatically not. It’s crucial to Miranda that Oriana can be her own person without having to fight for it like she did.

-Miranda’s confident that her father can’t find Oriana.

And she’s right.. Up until Cerberus, presumably, tells him where Oriana is.

Lusarn

-Xetic – Former batarian Special Intervention Unit operators ran a Blue Suns hostile environmental training facility here. Mortality rates were high – possibly up to 18%.

They were exonerated on the basis that they used methods consistent with their own training.

So what does that say about the training for batarian Special Intervention Units…?

The batarian Hegemony is an awful place for everyone, including its own people

-Tarith is where the N7: Blood Pack Relay mission occurs.

And it’s an alien planet that actually looks alien! Kudos for Bioware.

-The fog is used for great effect to limit visibility and spring ambushes on the pair. Also, despite the basic layout the fog makes it very easy to get lost.

-How does Miranda know the atmophere is toxic? And how the hell are her and Kasumi’s breathers qualified to protect them from it?

-The AI pathfinding for this level is terrible. I keep losing Miranda and Kasumi.

Considering that the Blood Pack consider the Vorcha getting lost in the fog to be a sign of low intelligence, Bioware kind of insulted themselves there.

-The Blood Pack are using vorcha as miners because vorcha can adapt to the atmosphere, aren’t they?

It sucks to be a vorcha in mass effect.

-It’s nice to see some wildlife for once. I miss the ME1 space cows.

-So fun enough mission, but why is Shepard here? Just to fuck with the Blood Pack?

Yes, I disabled a communications relay, but why did Shepard feel it was worth landing to find the communications relay and disable it? Why does Shepard care about the Blood Pack? They’re just one more mercenary band among many.

Normandy

-It’s implied Liara gave Oriana Shepard’s email.

-Miranda told Oriana she’s working for Shepard, not Cerberus.

That could be because Cerberus has a poor reputation, so Miranda doesn’t advertise that fact in general. See Niket.

It could also be a sign of her loyalty to Cerberus starting to waiver.

-Although when you speak to Miranda she immediately starts by saying that she wishes Cerberus had recruited Shepard earlier.

At least she acknowledges that too many that join are just xenophobic.

I suppose we’re retconning that ME1 Shepard can be highly xenophobic.

-You can go renegade and agree, but it doesn’t fit the conversation well. Your next options regardless of what you pick are to ask about Jack and the ME1 experiments.

-Her arguments for the experiments aren’t bad: Husks are already dead, thorian creepers are mindless, the rachni were abandoned once Cerberus learned they’re intellgient.

She’s unaware or ignoring the implications:

How did Cerberus get a hold of husks? It’s strongly implied in ME1 that they created husks.

Cerberus scooped up the thorian creepers and ignored the colony Exo-Geni was using as an experiment. Quite likely because interfering with it could possibly lead to the thorian creepers becoming unusable, which is exactly what happened.

The rachni were abandoned because they outsmarted their Cerberus handlers and killed them all.

-Miranda also acknowledges that Jack was a mistake. Good. She insists that the experiments were shut down as soon as their extent was found (hah).

So we’re just ignoring that Cerberus permitted them to happen in the first place…?

Miranda loves the freedom Cerberus gives her and praises how it lets her get shit done, but ignores the other heinous bad practices that it enables.

-She’s definitely a tad jealous that Shepard has TIM’s personal attention. Replacement father figure much?

-She references Shepard’s origins! A rare occurrence in ME2.

-Miranda believes that Shepard can take credit for their skills, but Miranda can only take credit for her mistakes. Her successes are because of her genes.

Which is bullshit. Whatever talents she may have been born with, she developed and chose to apply them. Yes she had a bit of a hard start, but her results are real.

-The big takeaway is that Miranda envies Shepard a bit because Shepard is real. She only views herself as artificial.

And that’s a damn shame. However she was born, she’s here now.

Her, Grunt, and the geth should start a support group.

Zelene

-Galeon – It’s implied the moon or moons were destroyed in a past cycle and their remains create the outer rings. It had been mined by a prior cycle.

-Epho – There are remains of a magnetic levitation rail line. The surface is cratered from hyper velocity kinetic impacts.

-Helyme – And this is the homeworld of the Arthenn, which disappeared about 300,000 years ago. They were probably killed by a biological weapon. Landing is forbidden as a result.

Given this is in the Terminus Systems, who has forbidden landing? Not stated.

Reapers are the obvious potential cause of the prior three destruction events, but there’s no proof. Could have been another species with a beef with the Arthenn.

-Despite landing being forbidden, Eldfell-Ashland Energy has an active mining facility.

Perhaps they too decided that no one could order them around in the Terminus Systems.

-Except the Eclipse are here and as we all know the Eclipse shoot to kill. So in comes Shepard – too late to perform a rescue, but hopefully revenge is an acceptable substitute.

-Another Earth like planet. I miss the ME1 skyboxes.

-An enjoyable enough shooting gallery, but nothing particularly notable.

Yes. My great-grandmother on my mother's side even though I've never met her. I'm getting a name change once it's safe to, though, so this will be changing.

Also, my middle name is passed down through my family on my mother's side. Every first born daughter has the same middle name, and I will be breaking that tradition with my name change. Unless you count the fact that I identify as genderfluid, usually androgynous as already breaking that tradition.

2: when was the last time you cried?

I genuinely don't remember, but I know it is easy to make me cry lol

Nope, and I'm glad that I can't.

4: do you use sarcasm a lot?

Not particularly? It's very difficult for me to read sarcasm and when I do use it, it comes off so seriously that people think I'm genuine. I don't like it.

5: what’s the first thing you notice about people?

Their mouth or jawline, usually. Or their collarbones if those are visible. I'm hardly ever looking at a person when speaking, and I tend to be a bit oblivious to my surroundings.

I have central heterochromia. My eyes are mainly blue (the shade changes day to day) and my pupils are surrounded by a ring that I kid you not looks gold. I'm told I have very pretty eyes.

7: scary movies or happy endings?

Depends on how I feel, but usually scary movies. Just watched Annihilation yesterday. Top tier.

8: any special talents?

Eh- Not really? At least not in my opinion. I've been told I'm a human calculator, but I don't see it lol

I am an artist, if that counts? But it's all hard work, not really talent.

10: what are your hobbies?

Writing, drawing, singing, and analyzing characters. I also LOVE discussing philosophy, theory, and medical stuff. On top of that, I highly enjoy learning about various cultures when I can, but I do my best to be respectful.

Three! I have two black cats named Freyr and Venti, and a ragdoll named Kokomicunas. They go by Frey, Vee, and Koko. Vee and Koko are siblings my husband rescued out of a cardboard box taped up in a dumpster, and Frey is a rescue from an area that had cougars.

12: what sport do you play/have played?

I used to play basketball and tennis when I was younger and smaller. I also used to do gymnastics. Unfortunately, I'm now far too top heavy for any of that no matter how much I miss it.

14: favourite subject in school?

Hands down, biology. I used to do extra credit for fun, and when I went to college I was pursuing biomedical engineering. I regularly research diseases and other things, and then I formulate theories on how they could be cured for fun. At one point, I was working on three patents. One was a cure for cancer based off of killer T cells, one was artificial nerves in myoelectric prosthetics, and one was a mobility aid.

15: dream job?

I'm sure it comes as no surprise, but I wish I was able to just do art for a living. That, or be in a lab researching disease somewhere. An even more out there thought is that, completely seriously, I would be a xenobiologist if we ever found alien life and I had the chance. Not the sort to torment them, though- The sort to try and genuinely understand.

♡ Why I chose these designers

♡ Why I chose Marc Moore I chose Marc Moore as often his approach to his design skews towards the edgier side, often seen in these examples of The Stolen Girlfriends Club, of which he is the creative director. The motifs and design choices he makes towards this company in particular, are things that I often find using in my own work, as well as like the look of in general. For example, a reoccurring motif in this line, are hearts and stars in some way. And incorporating these two motifs comes to me unconsciously. Whether it be in my painting, clay making, crochet and accessories. The design choices he makes stylistically, is something I already use, but also plan incorporating throughout my design work, as I tend to gravitate similar motifs. However, the influence of his work and his perspective, is something I definitely intend on learning from and seeing how it progresses my ideas.

♡ Why I chose Karen Walker Similar to Marc Moore, I am a huge fan of the use of motifs in Karen Walkers jewellery and accessories. It is very playful, yet classic and timeless. I think there is something special about pieces that are designed in a way that can be relevant and appreciated for years on end, and this influences and reminds me that often times, having a basis of design rules for myself, and keeping things simple doesnt need to be boring, in fact, it most likely will be appreciated. Her work currently influences me to look art what I design and be able to strip back, and remember the significance of simplicity.

♡ Why I chose Paul Rand, Paul Rand is highly contrasting to my other influences and the reason for this is that I consider myself someone with complex interests in terms of art and design. I enjoy all the processes of making, and one of those being digital and graphic design. Paul Rand is my biggest influence and inspiration when it comes to this, and the success of his work and trying to pull apart and analyse why his design methods work is something i feel like is very significant. Going back to the idea of stripping back and allowing for negative space, and simple shapes and forms, I feel as though, Paul Rand did this very effectively and I would like to feel more comfortable in this. Knowing that the few things I have put in and design, work together well enough to communicate what I want, without the exaggeration of visual information.

♡ Why I chose the nope sisters, Brittany and Johanna Cosgrove Taking influence from large and well known designers is always beneficial, however, I believe there is value in every and any person and designer, regardless of how many people know of them. The nope sisters carry a strong message within their clothing and accessory design, an aspect I feel becomes watered down as a certain level of success is reached, and instead becomes less about inspiration and love for the art, and more about the profitability of it. The Nope Sisters however, have a reason bigger than them to continue. The majority if not all of their designs have a strong message of empowering women, and the emphasis on the word nope, to say nope when you don’t want to say yes. To remind women and girls specifically, that saying no is your right, to not feel the pressures of what the people around you may be projecting.

♡ Why I chose company of strangers, Sara Munro Company of strangers is yet another smaller business whose accessories are something I very much admire. They often use more eclectic designs that only a niche group of people would appreciate, for example, a huge strawberry ring, or egg plate. When I see this brand and it’s designs, it reminds me of the things I would make with clay when I was younger, and I think there’s something precious about finding beauty in some of the more random pieces, not everything in design needs to have a huge deep and emotional back story. At the end of the day, doesn’t should be fun and creative, in my opinion, and I think this brand does it very well, it truely inspires me to remember why I started design in the first place, for the love of trying different things and refining those skills. I hope to carry this more whimsical approach throughout my current work, and in the future.

For the sake of kids ; My Father getting married second time after ten years ; yes ! He married twice and living with two wives under the same roof .

How beautiful it was ! First wife sacrificed his man ; and second wife was willing ready to accept that she was always been a second wife . It wasn’t so easy ; but they did .

In all that scenario ; my father maintained his dignity and responsibility towards his both wives. And he was blessed with a daughter and younger me .

I’m lucky to have two wonderful mothers in my life ; just like a Lord Krishna.

Yes ; We (Me & My Father) have vast age differences between us and we have some minor conflicts with each other ; but The ethics of my father is quite strict ; which I couldn’t understand in my childhood; but at age of 28 ; I can understand that very well .

He made me so strong mentally that no one can hurt me ; He deeply rooted the discipline in my blood. He taught me that ; don’t be a sarcastic . He taught me ; be a nice to human being ; and never asked about their religion or race. He craved on my heart that never hurt anyone feelings ; specially any girl ; just because of short term fun or attraction.

My home’s Architecture is a muslim ; and over the last fifty years ; they are our friends and family. My school teacher is christian ; and she is my father’s sister ; but I’m a Hindu.

I’m really blessed that I was brought up in this family ; where My grandfather and my father only taught me about humanity more than anything in this world.

When I looked at my parents ; my father is extremely qualified person and working as a professor ; while my mother is just passed high-school ; but my mother is more educated in the lessons of life.

I came to abroad ; and always trying to make a friends without any prejudice of their race and religion.

Now at this age my parents are trying to convincing me to get married ; arrange or love . They don’t have any issues with my decision.

However ; in some circumstances or being an unlucky ; I can’t able to gain that trust from any girl ; being privileged and being nice is not enough to be loved.

I’m not looking for anyone who’s highly qualified or knowledgeable ; I’m just looking for someone who’s ready to fight together in any situation ; just like my parents; but maybe it’s just in a dream now.

I really want to change people’s life ; make feel happy and I know ; I can do that ; but being an unlucky that person is not ready to take a small change and give me a little chance .

My study & organization apps as college student

First of all, is important to say that I’m 4th year Geography student and I use my cellphone (iPhone SE 2022) and a tablet (Samsung tab S7). Some apps are available just for one system, some are available for both. Biased that, some apps make sense for a GEOGRAPHY student, but may not be that helpful for other courses.

Notion

This one is a classic by now, right? I think I don’t have a lot to say about it, seems a little like a bullet journal but virtually, were you can creat a lot of pages and centrals. I use as a bullet journal + agenda + diary + note taking app!

Todomate

So, I discovered this app on Twitter and i’m IN LOVE with this! It’s like a social network, but where you can do to-do lists! As I said, it’s a social network, so you can add your friends and see their own to-do lists! You can also interact with them, liking their daily feelings and their tasks. It’s really fun and easy to use! You can also create private lists, routines etc. Love it! (That’s my count in the print, btw. You can add me there if you want to: HexGurlAcademia! My todo lists are all in portuguese? Yes, but…)

Windy

The must have to geoscience students! It’s an app that shows you a lot of geodata! Really good to check when there’s a storm coming or any climate event.

Noteshelf

Usually people use OneNote to do class notes, BUT it’s not available to android 🫠 but I founded this one! You can create groups, notebooks, transfer pdfs… I love to use this to read papers and texts for classes.

Samsung Notes

Another alternative to android users who wants to have a virtual notebook. You can also use the app in your PC!

Discord

So, did you know that there are a LOT of study communities on Discord? There are language learning communities, college servers (my university, for example, have one!), study buddies servers… I use to have study buddies and use pomodoro bots! There’s also a server I LOVE that has lo-fi rooms.

Classify

This one is a routine app! You can put not just your semester classes, but all your extracurricular activities! You can count study hours, add when your exams will be, homeworks… I really liked this one!

Habitica

Another routine app, but this one makes your tasks become a game! As more tasks you finish, you earn coins which you can exchange for things to up your character. You also earn xp to level up your character! I highly recommend it specially to teen/kid ADHD students! Trust me, it helps a lot transforming your life into a little game 😉

Yeolpumta (or YPT)

This one is a study chronometer! You can create your on profile, add friends, create and participate of study communities etc. I like this app, but may be discomfortable to people with anxiety, cuz you can see how many hours the others have been studying. If you study a lot of hours, your avatar changes and you go up in the groups and general rank. I stop using this so much cuz I was really anxious about it :/

Agenda Escolar

This one is a Brazilian app! Works very similar to Classify, but it’s a little simpler and 100% in brazilian portuguese.

Google stuff (Drive, Classroom etc)

Well, guess Skynet… I mean, Google, really dominate everything now… My college use Gmail to creat the institutional email for teachers and students, so EVERYTHING Google offers we use. Gmail, Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Meets, Classroom… Not that happy about it, but yeah, I have no scape anyway lol

Ok so someone said that in the Rebel Robin: Surviving Hawkins podcast, Robin displays a lot of autistic signs so of course I had to go check it out. It's a really good podcast and I enjoyed every second of it and, as I went through it, I wrote down every single thing that Robin did that could be interpreted as autism.

But of course this doesn't show the whole picture and I did left out some parts that felt like autism but that I couldn't quite explain why... maybe her autistic energy is too strong and it shows on everything she does. With that said, I highly recommend that you go listen to the podcast yourself if you haven't already.

So, here follows the list:

Mr. Hauser: Please sit, make yourself at home Robin: Cool. Well, I- I- I usually sit, um… but I- Mr. Hauser: [laughing] Take any seat you want, the classroom is yours for the next 25 minutes -> I think this bit of dialogue shows her hesitancy over change/doing things differently from what she is used to, not to mention that it’s a different scenario (not a class), so should she sit where she always sits or no?

Robin: [talking about Barb] She’s not like the other kids at school, she’s… weird. Mr. Hauser: How so? Robin: I mean… nevermind. -> It could be that they were hinting at Barb’s sexuality here, since Robin’s sexuality is a big part of why she feels apart from other people, but I think, if that was really the case, she’d have said “different” instead of “weird”.

Very observant of people: “You don’t have to talk to someone to know what’s going on inside their head”, among other commentaries she makes on people like Tammy Thompson and Mr. Hauser himself, analyzing their behaviors and the meaning behind them

Talks a lot about camouflaging. How she pretends to be just the right amount of uninteresting and average to fly under the radar.

Robin: Surviving Hawkins takes a special skill set.

Robin: Barb is like me. Well, not exactly like me. She- she fits better. Probably because she knows how to survive Hawkins better than most people.

[talking about how her and Barb used to be friends in sixth grade] Mr. Hauser: That was… four years ago? Don’t you think people change? Robin: Sure people change but not who they really are, fundamentally, at their core. As much as people might try to dress up in something else. Mr. Hauser: Are you the same girl that you were in sixth grade? Robin: Of course! I’ve always been the weirdest girl in Hawkins.

To the people saying that her special interest is learning languages? Yes. And classic literature as well.

It seems like she has no volume control. When she gets really passionate/emotional about what she is saying, she starts to speak louder and I don't think she notices it at all.

Robin: I’m a teenage girl with no friends

Complains multiple times that Hawkins is boring/says that there is nothing to do in Hawkins -> could be a sign of her having ADHD as well

Like I’m almost someone who is unique and interesting and unafraid but the camouflage is working too well and I’ll turn into someone who never fights at all because I never decided who I wanted to be [...] -> it seems to me that here she is talking about masking and unmasking

Mr. Hauser: [...] Maybe you’ll find a place where you don’t need any armor at all

Mr. Hauser: [talking about someone named Dash] You’re friends, right? Robin: Not really…

Robin: Dash, Milton, Kate… I just sit next to them in band, that’s all.

Robin: I don’t know why things need to change all the time [...] I just wish people wouldn’t change so much

[talking about Barb] Mr. Hauser: What happened between you two? Robin: I don’t know! She was in the club with Nancy Wheeler and they started to get close and Barb just… she chose Nancy. Mr. Hauser: She cut you out? Doesn’t seem like Barbara. Robin: No, she wasn’t-... it wasn’t mean or anything, I doubt it was even intentional, it was me. I didn’t wanna be the overachiever that she wanted to be. I wanted to keep dreaming about something more and… I thought Barb did too. But I guess I just… I didn’t fit anymore. Mr. Hauser: I’m sorry. It’s hard, losing a friend. Robin: Yeah… -> here it seems to me that Robin made sense out of what happened between her and Barb the best way she could, without the knowledge of autism and how it makes it harder to make and keep friends. You need to hear it when she says "I don't know!", she sounds so distressed.

Mr. Hauser: You’re always reading something.

Mr. Hauser says her work (essays and such) is restrained. On that, he also says that she is capable of more.

Robin is learning Spanish, Italian and French all at the same time

Robin: Dante wrote in Italian originally, right? That’s the language he spoke, the language he thought in, so it feels like that’s how his story should be read. Reading the English translation, it feels like something was missing. -> just a bit of Robin talking about her special interest. Sorry, I am sort of a language geek myself and I love what she is saying here

Mr. Hauser: Reading your essays, [I] feel like reading a hazily put-together translation. Like there’s some fundamental element of the work that is not being put to the page. Robin: Like I’m holding back?

Robin: I live in two worlds

Just like she says to Nancy in the show that she has no filter, we can notice that as she talks to Mr. Hauser. At some point, she says that he’s got the same look in his face of when someone says something stupid in class and asks him if she’s said anything stupid. This both shows that she has no filter and that she’s very observant of people

On having no filter, she is (almost) always speaking what's on her mind

Mr. Hauser: Isn't it tiring to have to translate yourself to people all the time? Robin: I don’t know. I’ve gotten used to it. It’s safer [...]

It seems to me that she has trouble regulating her emotions. 

She has trouble reading social cues, yes, and trouble predicting/guessing/figuring out other people’s intentions.

At the end of episode 3, there's a reading of the first chapter of the novel, in which Steve enters the History class, says 'hey people' and everyone laughs like they're a part of a sitcom. On that, Robin comments "They know they don't have to do that in real life, right?"

Robin: [rambling about her life] All of this just feels like the Universe is trying to tell me that I am really, really not supposed to have friends

Robin: I'm not sure people my own age can relate to what I'm going through

Robin: Maybe I just can’t keep friends

Robin: Maybe I'm broken. What if there's just something about me that drives people away? [...]

In episode 4, Robin breaks down and says that she always loses her friends and in every occasion, the only common denominator was her so there must be something about her that is "rotten" 

The way she mutters the word "stupid" to herself multiple times whenever she "fails" a social interaction with Mr. Hauser

Sarcasm/irony as part of masking

Feels the need to clarify that she is talking figuratively even though it wasn't really necessary and could be understood by context

Doesn't understand when Mr. Hauser is talking through metaphors and/or using double meaning

Doesn't get why Mr. Hauser has a sad smile on his face when she describes Tammy Thompson. Also, it seems like he caught up on her feelings before she did, which could be alexithymia. 

In the last episode, the whole camouflage/armor metaphor is brought up again in order to talk about hiding one's sexuality in order to fit in/go unnoticed. I think Robin’s sexuality and her autism get mixed up when she camouflages (or masks, as you wish) because if it was all about her sexuality, she wouldn't present all those other signs of autism.

Mini, on the other hand, knows exactly what she wants and how to get it. this girl has a five-step plan on how to get into Harvard or some equally pretentious school, and she is focused on doing it.

Bryne is going more into sports and the cooking-type stuff, so she's hoping to get into a school based on her sports

Bryne doesn't really have to worry about college that much, because she's a #rich kid

Aru and mini are jealous

rudy treats mini like a queen, and tries to learn how to cook and clean for her

he says that he's going to be a housewife, so he doesn't need to study

however, he has been getting into more music theory and producing it

Aiden has to do his regular otherworld stuff on top of his Pandava and school stuff, so he's a walking corpse

once kara gets her memories back, he gets into a hilarious rivalry with Kara over nothing at all

when he gets comfortable around you, niko starts to talk a lot more.

you guys don’t really talk to each other when you do this, aside from niko occasionally checking up on you and asking if you need anything from him.

but other than that, you guys just enjoy each other's touch in silence. it’s one of his favorite things to do with you.

Salvadore enjoys social gatherings, interesting conversations and to use his eloquence, background knowledge, savoir-faire, and sense for well-aimed provocations to achieve his goals by influencing those of importance in his political games. Still, he usually keeps others at distance in any truly personal regard and rarely makes friends, convinced he has no need for those. All the deeper and more special the bond becomes the moment someone reaches a level of strong closeness and trust with him. His most important friends – aside from Daeran of course but the question is about the platonic ones – are Regill and Woljif. Now this sounds weird, doesn’t it ... 😅 Regill: After a complicated start, Regill quickly becomes one of his most trusted companions due to their shared views about working morale, efficiency, and discipline. His sacrifice at the hellknight outpost deepens what Salvadore already has seen in him before and would he be asked to describe him he’d also add that he is one of the most selfless people he knows. Highly cherishing his own position and rank, Salvadore understands on a deep level what it must have meant for him to give it up for him and to support their shared goal. Regill, on the other hand, won’t call Salvadore a friend out loud. Due to their nature, Regill's and Salvadore's as well, their relationship seems very professional to those witnessing it. It’s mostly Salvadore who openly breaks this picture here and there with some words and gestures of appreciation and affection beyond the things they’re working on together and sometimes with well-meant teasing. Of course, Regill usually brushes it off and reminds him to stay focused. That the feeling of friendship is mutual – or as far as Regill allows it – becomes mostly visible in his trust and loyalty after Salvadore proved himself to him many times. Aside from Daeran, Regill often is the first one Salvadore asks for advice in difficult situations. It’s rare for him to view someone as knowledgeable, reasonable, and experienced enough to admit that he can learn from them in certain regards, but Regill has reached this level. Salvadore appoints him Lieutenant Gouverneur of Drezen. He is in charge of his troops and of ruling when he and Daeran are absent. And if he even thinks about bleaching further, Salvadore will tell Daeran to mess something up so badly, it will bring back his color immediately.] Woljif: Woljif is a very different case and Salvadore’s opinion of him quite low in the beginning. He continues stealing even in highly inappropriate situations, he ignores some of his orders, and – worst of all – he runs. Still, a part of Salvadore likes his humor, his way of talking, that he is surprisingly capable in what he’s doing and that he sees … potential in him to be more than he believes himself. Salvadore doesn’t trust him for quite some time and he feels bad when he has to pretend friendship in the Abyss to guide Woljif away from his demonic side – only to realize not much later that no ..., it hasn’t been a lie. Suddenly, he can’t help it, he’s looking at him with affection and softness. Yes, he is stronger than he has thought. Woljif proves him right and Sal is overwhelmed with pride of him when he starts giving up the shady business and uses his newly achieved fortune to support tiefling rights and the both of them (well, three of them, Daeran as well) often do charity projects together. Furthermore, Woljif becomes one of the few that manage to coax out Salvadore’s more playful side regularly. Salvadore’s and Woljif’s friendship only grows tighter after the game and – as the ending slide says as well – Woljif, Sal, and Daeran are often seen having fun together. 11. Thoughts on tentacles? Here I wrote about Sal’s thoughts on those slender, flexible limbs, appendages or tendrils. 😁 18. Your OC’s low point? He had a few. I wish there would have been a real in-game moment leaving him utterly broken with the option to actually play it out. I mostly imagine his full reactions to certain things in my mind instead. Or write stories and posts about it. Anywayyy, let’s see what we have, in chronological order: 1) The gargoyle attack. He told himself that he didn’t act fast and determined enough to stop it when he already assumed that Nurah would betray them and felt responsible for the death of those who were killed. In his opinion, he failed them when he should have been able to avoid it. The guilt afterwards was intense. 2) Daeran’s dream in Areelu’s laboratory. Their relationship already had started and it hit him quite hard to see Galfrey in Daeran’s dream when those illusions apparently showed one’s innermost desire. Daeran probably wasn’t ready yet to fully allow his feelings for Salvadore. Things were still developing and I imagine Galfrey had a great importance in his thoughts and feelings for quite some time (in many ways) before they got to know each other. Still, Salvadore suffered a lot in this moment. But they worked it out and he promised himself that soon he would be the one Daeran would want more than anyone else (and he kept the promise). If you’re interested in reading the details of this situation, I wrote a short fanfiction about it and posted it here. 3) When Salvadore killed Liotr to protect Daeran from the inquisition. This was his lowest point in the whole game. In taking his life, he broke with his principles, with his beliefs, and anything he needs to be in his own eyes to be worthy of his place and goals. He did it for the one he loves more than his life, more than his pride, more than anything he ever wanted to become and to achieve. It was a sacrifice and he would decide like this again if someone would turn back time and he’d find himself confronted with the choice again. Still, the guilt ate him alive for a while and he spiraled into one of his self-punishment phases. Of course, he kept all of this unseen from Daeran’s eyes. The moment he came to gift him gloves for it, he felt the strong urge to punch him though. 4) Galfrey’s death and Daeran’s pain about it (he tried not to show but Salvadore saw anyway). When she was killed in Iz – because of Salvadore’s decision not to aid her immediately, after all she had picked her fate herself and it’s the risk of any ruler to die for those they’re supposed to protect – and he was at her side through her last moments, he got everything he had thought he wanted all this time, her apology, her appreciation, her place, her death, just to realize that he’d give a lot to save her instead. The guilt only grew stronger with knowing that now his way was utterly free to gain another piece of power he had dreamed of: the Mendevian throne. 20. Your OC’s thoughts on Areelu Vorlesh? Today’s Tips: Crutches

Hello hello!  I have been a part-time crutches user for the past… three years?  So today I’m going to share some little tips I’ve learned along the way.  I have never used a cane, but I think a lot of this might apply to canes too.

-If you’re trying to decide if you need a mobility aid or not, the answer is yes.  You don’t have to be unable to walk without it to use a mobility aid!  If you think it would help, go for it!  Using my crutches lets me walk farther, with less pain, and less falling, and the freedom is wonderful.  I’m pretty sure that if you’re debating, it’s definitely worth a try.  And if you’re here because crutches are already required for you, that’s good too and I hope you still find what makes them work best for you.

-Decorate!  Personalize!  Bedazzle!  I am a huge advocate for changing the look of your mobility aid to whatever makes you happy.  I scraped all the logos off my crutches, spray painted them blue, and added flower stickers on the cuffs, and it always makes me smile.  Just because they only sell what you need in boring medical colors doesn’t mean you have to keep it that way.  My theory is, I’m going to get stared at either way, I might as well have crutches I like:)

-If you leave it standing up, it WILL fall over.  Seriously, it seems like every time I try to leave my crutches propped up against something, they fall down and make a ton of noise at a very inconvenient time.  If you have to leave them standing up so you can reach them, I wish you luck, and suggest putting them somewhere that minimizes getting bumped into.  Sometimes I lean mine on my legs under the table and that works pretty well.  But most of the time, I lie my crutches down alongside a table or wall, or underneath my chair.  Bonus, this also keeps people from stepping on them so much.

-Forearm crutches vs underarm crutches.  I generally see your regular underarm crutches used for more short term things, like a sprained ankle, but they might also be a better choice if you have limited arm strength.  They also feel more stable if you can’t put any weight on one leg.  I was told that forearm crutches take way more strength, but in my experience, it’s not as bad as I was told, even though I have floppy, spaghetti-noodle Ehlers-Danlos arms (although I do also have the special forearm crutches for people with EDS)  It’s really nice that the forearm crutches are shorter, so they’re easier to store and don’t stab you in the armpit if you’re walking on uneven ground.  In my opinion, they’re just overall easier to maneuver and better for when both legs need support.  Plus, I can let them hang from the cuffs and have my hands free for a moment.  The other thing I noticed with underarm crutches vs forearm crutches is how people treat me.  With regular underarm crutches, I got a lot of “Oh no what happened?!” and “Get well soon!”, none of which apply to me.  With forearm crutches, people seem to get that it’s more of a lifelong disability deal. I was trying to write an unbiased paragraph here, but I guess it’s pretty clear I have a strong preference!  But really, the best option is whatever meets your needs.

-Proper fitting.  If you have access to a physical therapist or other professional who can help you fit your crutches, I would highly recommend taking advantage of that.  Crutches that aren’t adjusted right can wreak havoc on your posture and alignment, and even cause secondary injuries (which is the last thing you need!)  If you don’t have access to a PT, I think these links have some good information:

-Pace yourself.  If your situation allows you to gradually work up to how much time you spend with crutches, you’ll be much less sore!  If not, try to take breaks before you really need them, to prevent the worst of the ouch.

-Carrying things.  This is going to be frustrating, but it also gets easier as you adjust and learn what works for you.  First things first, it’s totally okay to ask for help!  You are not a burden, you are not lazy, no matter what anyone else tells you.  It’s okay to need help.  And for when you are carrying things by yourself, here are some tips:  Pockets!  Very very good.  Backpack or fanny pack or purse is also good.  I’ve seen some people attach a bag to the crutch itself, but in my experience, that makes it hard to control the crutch and you lose your balance a lot.  I’ve also perfected the art of holding something with my pinky and ring finger, while still holding the crutch handgrip with the other side of my hand.  Sliding things along a table instead of carrying is a great one for cooking.  Getting everything you need within reach and then just sitting is also a good strategy to save spoons. 

-Actually getting around!  I think the best thing might be to practice with your crutches on a day you don’t actually need them so you can experiment.  I know that’s not always possible though, and I promise you can also learn as you go too.  For me, doors are the hardest part, so automatic openers are my friends.  My best tricks for doors without automatic openers are:  open door really far and speed through, or use crutch leg or tip to prop door open while you go through.  Although I have gotten my crutch tip stuck under the door like that before so maybe that’s not the best advice…  Again, it’s totally okay to ask for help!  And you’ll get the hang of it with practice.

-Crutches in winter.  Not fun.  If you’re using regular long crutches, they’re going to get stuck in slush or snow on the sidewalk.  I haven’t tried them, but I also know they sell special crutch tips for ice, because regular ones are slippy.  I don’t really have any advice here, so this is more of a caution, and a suggestion to plan ahead!

-Especially if crutches are new for you, you’re going to be all kinds of tired.  The way you walk is now totally different, and you have to re-adjust how you do just about everything, which takes a LOT of mental energy.  It’s totally okay to be frustrated and tired and sad.  It won’t always be this hard, you’ll find adjustments that work for you.  And don’t be afraid to use the resources and accommodations available to you!  They’re there to help you and you deserve support.

Edit:  I just learned a new trick for crutches and doors!  When you’re trying to open the door, make sure you’re standing clear outside of the arc of where the door swings. Otherwise you’ll be trying to inch backwards and drag the door with you, and that’s a great way to fall down.  So just move to the side and let the door swing open.

JUNGWON'S PERSONALITY OBSERVATIONS

He should write about his feelings, like having a journal. Because being a Virgo Moon, he can be really reserved about his feelings, and highly critical over the things he feels, and Virgo being also a very discreet sign and introverted, and being ruled by mercury, writing it’s a very good alternative to open up and to organized (which he probably loves) his thoughts and emotions.

This placement conjunct Jupiter could make him really into studying and feeling better when he does. This could also mean that he is curious about the unconscious aspect of his mind, once the moon can also represent that, and being Jupiter the planet of study (this one being more like superior studies, so who knows maybe he could be into psychology lol).

But he is definitely very analytical and rational about his feelings. Not the type to go easy on himself. Can be critical and judgmental (ohh Jungwoo, poor baby).

He’s a Aquarius Sun conjunct Neptune, so I feel he does have a lot of Pisces Sun energy in him – so, I’m thinking he’s a very empathetic and sweet kid, with a lot of social conscious, always trying to do the right thing, and helping the others. He understands that our world needs some drastic change, so he can be the type to be really concerned about that.

He’s open minded, and won’t judge you because you’re different, I feel he’s open to whatever it is. He is definitely the type to embrace those differences yk? Just very warm and inclusive.

Really wants to take care of people and at their service. He likes feeling useful and that he is helping people out. Specially if is something that can help communities, or society to improve. I feel he could be someone very into community /social work, or to donate to the causes he strongly believes in.

He’s able to feel hopeful, at least he is here to learn how to do that (Jupiter in retrograde in Virgo conjunct Virgo moon).

Very rational in the way he thinks and very out of the box/ ordinary. Can have really inspired ideas; Just very creative and unique thoughts. Maybe he does have a way of thinking that no one else can really understand lol It’s just very particular. And yes, he’s a smart guy who’s connected to the news, and what is going on in the world. Jungwon is a Taurus Mars, so he takes his time to do things, he doesn’t rush anything. He is patient guy.

Loves to touch and feel things. The type to ask to see that object and to take in his hands yk? He’s a wonderer with his hands. He likes to feel the world though touch.

To me he could be an anarchist who needs order to take over the world; who wants to change society, disrupting how things are done now, to improve it; to make the world a better place, but everything it’s done accordingly to his schedule lol This is the duality about Jungwon I believe. He wants freedom but needs to control things, and to observe if everything is going out as planned. He may look the type that does not plan things, but this is just an illusion really.

It feels like Jungwon wants to create things in his own time. He has things under control; the type to have a messy room but to him it’s how it works inside of his head; is a messy but organized place lol he knows where everything is, even though people wouldn’t usually put that thing in that spot...I feel he is a guy who feels not organized but has his own method to do things.

Not everyone can understand how his mind works, but in the end, everything turns out fine.

He is very passionate about his dreams and career; to innovate how things are done and to put his own spin in it, his own signature.

He is good feeling what other people need.

He can be really focus and determined when he put something in his mind. Won’t stop until he’s done, and it’s always looking for improving it. Such a hard worker and passionate guy.

If he believes in the cause, he will go until the end.

Jungwon has that cute, sweet, innocent face, but he’s pretty serious about things, even though he’s a young guy he does have this maturity in him. Again, he is focused and doesn’t take things for granted.

He can be prone to feel anxious and to overwork too, so it’s important for him to keep a balanced life. Definitely the one who works out and feel light after doing it. This can help him to spend all that nervous/ anxious energy and bring some peace of mind.

Taurus Mars and Aries Venus it’s a very interesting combination in my opinion, because can make one really enthusiastic and excited about the thing's one's love. So, if the person has an interest in something, this person will chase it for sure. And won’t feel bored as most of Aries Venus, that once it conquers their goal, they are ready to move for the next interest. In Jungwon’s case he will conquer and treasure what he accomplished. He will take a good care of It.

He is picky, so if he chooses to do something is for real, it’s not some impulsive decision yk?

Before you were born, your parents had saved a witch who was struggling and in a lot of physical pain, after nursing her, she repaid their kindness by cursing (blessing?) all of their children to be extraordinarily beautiful, which sounded great at first, but you have come to learn that it wasn’t as great as it seemed.

Lucifer

When Lucifer chose you as the exchange student, it was noted you had a peculiar habit of wearing a veil, but he didn’t think much of it.

When you two become closer though, he’s kind of curious. Do you ever take it off? What’s it for? Are you self conscious, if so, that’s really stupid because he will still love you no matter what.

He’s blunt and asks you, so if you choose to tell him about the curse, he nods in acknowledgement, and asks if you want it removed.

You’re so shocked and he’s completely serious, he’s stronger than some witch, so he would be willing to help you out because he likes you.

If you say yes and show him your face he’s stunned for a second, but that’s only because of the curse, he understands now what you mean.

Is super prideful when you say you trust him to remove it, and how you think highly enough of him to even show him your face in the first place.

If you choose to keep it and still show your face to him, his ego is huge now, like even bigger than before. :))

Mammon

He thought you looked really stupid, not going to lie. Like why the hell are you wearing a face veil? Whatever. Probably tried to take it off or catch you without it on.

When you two makes a pact and become closer to him, he’s pretty curious about your face because he’s a model and has seen some pretty people, and you have gorgeous eyes.

Personal hype man because he gets the wrong idea at first, thinking you’re self conscious and he wants to see his human’s face.

At this point if you don’t believe he loves you for you, you’re kinda an oblivious monster, because he’s followed you like a lost puppy, protected you, and even genuinely wants to raise your self confidence.

So when you explain to him what’s up, and feel comfortable to show him your face he’s like !!! My human is literally the most gorgeous thing he’s seen. And then it strikes him he’s probably the first to see this outside of your family, too, and he’s so smug.

Won’t tell anyone about it if you tell him, he’s sad about it but will respect that you want a genuine friend. And then he’s super happy again because you think so highly of him.

Leviathan

Thinks you’re some cool person with a trouble past and now wears a veil to cover your scars from battle at first.

Wait? That’s not it? Lame. Will probably find it weird how you wear a face veil at first, and is curious to what you look like. Your eyes are really pretty, so why hide your face?

When he finds out it’s a curse he’s super interested again! My human wears a face veil to hide their curse from the world, sounds like some sort of anime plot. Will really want to see your face and will have puppy dog eyes, but ultimately it’s your choice.

If you choose to show him your face, he’s a blushing and stuttering mess, as if you didn’t just warn him? And he’s also just so surprised you agreed!!! Like you really trust him that much?! He is overwhelmed.

When you laugh and put your veil back on, he’s just standing there so confused? Like what just happened? He swears blood isn’t rushing out of his nose as he tells you that the curse worked okay.

Will definitely be jealous if you let other people see you without your veil on, he thinks he is special to you and that’s why you let him see it, so please don’t break his heart!

Satan

Satan really didn’t care at first, he may be a little curious, but it’s whatever, he’s met weirder people.

When you two are closer, he’s quite curious and asks, so if you tell him about the curse, he definitely wants to see.

He won’t pry to respect your privacy, but he totally understands now why your eyes are so pretty, and why you’re wearing the veil. But you can tell from his body language he wants to see your face.

Has a large amount of acquaintances and probably knows the witch as well, so when he finally sees your face, it was because of her. He invited you to meet an acquaintance of his, who just happened to be the witch your parents saved.

She’s gushing over you because she hadn’t seen you since you were a toddler, and asks to see your face if her curse worked, and how thankful she was to your parents.

When you take it off, telling Satan you trust him enough to let him see, Satan is a little surprised and bewildered by your beauty, he already liked you, but you were amazingly pretty.

The witch is clapping and so proud of her work, she asked how it’s been and if you say you want it removed, both she and Satan wouldn’t hesitate to help break it for you, because even if your curse make you look stunning, he’s attracted to you because you’re you.

Also he likes it when your face veil dangles and the cats coming to you try to smack at it with their little paws and play with you.

Asmodeous

Originally was a little uninterested in you because you didn’t show your face, and rejected his advances.

Also when you laughed at him when he said “Everyone is beautiful, so if you’re hiding scars, you can show me!” He thought you were mocking him, as he didn’t know of your curse.

It doesn’t matter at all though, because he eventually likes you with time, and is attracted to you even if he hasn’t seen your face properly, other than your pretty eyes.

When he gets close to you and finally finds out why, he’s just like oh!! I totally get it!! I’m so gorgeous I could cause a war over my beauty, so you’re the same, right?

Apologises for trying to make you take off your face veil before, but is obviously curious as to just how gorgeous you are. Probably won’t drag you to parties anymore if it makes you feel uncomfortable.

Also loves you a little bit more because he’s the same! He’s extremely gorgeous, sure, but he wants a genuine friend too who isn’t after his beauty, so you two can bond over that.

Beelzebub

This baby honestly didn’t notice at first, and if he did he just thought of it as a human thing maybe? Well whatever! You give him food and cuddles so he just loves you.

He will never pressure you to take it off and probably is the least curious out of everyone. He probably doesn’t even notice your eyes until one of his brothers points it out and he’s like “oh, yeah they are really pretty.”

If anyone tries to take your veil off of you or bullies you for it, Beel only needs to grab their wrist and they know to run away, Beel would protect you.

When you tell Beel about the curse, he’s concerned for you and asks how he can help you feel better, like the previous baby he is!

When you show him your unveiled face, his eyes widen for a second and his hunger dissipates a little, but he’s not going to make a big deal out of it since you said you wore one for that reason.

He munches on his food and acknowledged it, and says you look nice, but if you want it gone he could ask Lucifer for you. If you decline, he respects your wishes, and just treats you like his favourite regular human.

Belphegor

Tied between gives no shit and also you’re weird asf. He says he doesn’t care why you wear a face veil and it doesn’t matter, but also looks at you like you’re weird for always wearing one, even to naps.

Tried to take it off when the two of you were sleeping ones because the frantic was against his face and it annoyed him. He found another face veil underneath, and two more and just gave up.

Will be super blunt. “I don’t think you’re ugly, even if you wear a veil.” He thinks that you’re probably self-conscious, and this is his way of cheering you up.

You can only laugh and say it’s a curse that makes you really beautiful. Huh, that explains why you have nice eyelashes, he thought.

Not phased by it and finds it kinda cool, perhaps they chose an interesting human! How fun.

Though he is very curious about what you look like, he stares at your veil and you can feel it but he won’t admit it because he respects you.

You grow close to him quickly and he’s delighted!! And you can tell he’s a genuinely good person, so when you tell him about the curse he just laughs!

No wonder you’re such a great and respectable person, you take after your parents! Not many would pick up a stray and dying witch.

He asks you if it’s really that inconvenient, and offers to just break the curse for you! No problem.

If you choose to keep it, he respects that too, but hopes he can see more of your face, he wants to love each part of you, if you allow him too.

If anyone makes fun of you for making a veil he would punish them or probably start wearing a veil too, either one works.

The least bothered by it number two, if you want to wear a face veil be his guest, he already knew the other exchange student would be weird when he saw Solomon.

He doesn’t pressure you to take it off and sometimes you just genuinely feel like you’re not wearing a face veil with him because he never comments on it, he just treats you like a normal person.

If you choose to tell him about the curse he will listen while maintaining perfect eye contact, his eyes never once even drifting to the lower half of your face, how respectful.

He will offer to help remove the curse for you, or ask Master Diavolo to help you remove it, but it really is up to you.

When you show him your face he’s in awe for the slightest second and then is back to normal. You are extraordinarily stunning, yes, but he respects the fact that you hate it when people stare too long or fall in love by your looks.

Honestly you could stop wearing the face veil around him altogether and he’d still treat you like normal, he has drunk the whole can of respect MC juice.

Solomon

He wasn’t fazed in the slightest when he sees you walking around with a face veil. Maybe it’s just your thing? He’s been alive long enough to see many different human things.

It doesn’t take long for him to want to see your face though, he’s curious and may drop subtle hints, but it’s up to you to pick up on them and decide if he can see.

If you tell him it’s a curse, it would pique his curiosity more, but he won’t use force to get you to remove it. If you choose to remove it for him though, he’s going to tease you but secretly be ecstatic.

He’s in awe of just how beautiful and stunning you are, may forget to breathe for a second before commenting on what an effective curse it was! But tries to be polite and not make you uncomfortable by staring too long.

Will try to help you remove the curse if you don’t want it anymore! You have a gorgeous personality and that’s all that really matters at the end of the day!

If you choose to keep it he will also respect it, and if anyone harasses you for wearing a veil he can put an ugly curse on them to make them as ugly as their personalities.

Wondered why you wore a veil, but respected you and your privacy, so didn’t ask about it in case it was a sensitive topic.

When you two grow closer you can just genuinely tell he’s a good person, he’s an angel after all! So when you confide to him about your curse, and tell him you want him to see your face he’s super honoured!

Acknowledges that you put a lot of trust into him, and won’t tell anyone without your permission, but you truly are a work of art. He quickly gets over it though and smiles, giving you a small compliment, before asking if you want some tea.

He steers the conversation away from your curse and tries to be really respectful and not try to stare in case you don’t like it, and it only makes you laugh.

Is happy to know he can make eye contact with you like always, you don’t mind, and appreciate his thoughtfulness.
