Sometimes when ally cishets start talking to me in cartoonishly overplayed displays of support for queer people without me ever openly discussing my own queer identity i get the urge to just act like I’m massively homophobic to see how they would respond
#it’s my problematic trait#I don’t hide my queerness in gender or sexuality but I still get a little skeeved when cishet people trip over themselves to show me#their rainbow lanyards or some shit like that#like yes cathrynne I do think your rainbow lanyard is pretty have you contacted your local queer support groups about the rising transphobia#have you done anything other than vote for fucken Joe Biden#I’ve never actually done this btw I don’t think I ever actually would but I’d be lying if it hasn’t crossed my mind#just to see them squirm a little#blithering on
