~
Plops face first on the bed with a groan, phone tossed aside as you finally end that dreadful phone call you’ve been avoiding with your mom.
‘’that went well, did it not?” Loki asked, looking up from his book in the corner with his legs crossed and an amused smile on his face from listening to the whole thing.
‘’maybe better than expected.. until dad finds out..’’ you mumble in the sheets, your body jumping a little at the sound of a book snapping shut and the slow steps coming closer to you.
‘’do you think I’ll get daddy’s approval?’’ Loki teased with a smirk, dipping the mattress beside you as he sat down and you could feel his gentle hand rub your back, making you instantly relax while your mind spun.
‘’I don’t even want to think about that..’’
“he’s to old for you honey, he also tried to kill people!”
The sound of Tony’s voice made you jump and sit up in panic, just to see Loki’s held back laugher that he had just used magic to mimic your father’s voice.
‘’you’re cruel, you know that?” you swat at his arm before you plop down on your back with your arm covering your eyes in a hopeless state.
‘’and you love me for it..’’ he purred, feeling by the movement of the mattress that both his hands were on either side of you, supporting his weight so he may hover on top with his eyes sparkling down at yours when you peaked.
‘’I could always be the one to tell him-‘’
‘’no.’’ you cut him off dryly. because knowing you, you’re the one to show him, not tell him. I’d probably be under house arrest for the rest of my life-‘’
‘’well considering I am stuck here until my community service is finished, your sentence would greatly benefit me in every possible way..’’ he chuckled and dipped his head down so he could ghost the tip of his nose against your skin, running it over your neck before he reached the spot between your neck and shoulder so he may gently press his lips down against it, making you shiver and squeeze your thighs together.
‘’you mean stuck as in sometimes we sneak out to do stuff?” you half tease and rest your hands on his shoulders while he smirked.
‘’darling if we wanted to do stuff, we wouldn’t have to leave.’’
‘’you know what I mean-‘’ you blush and look away while he continues to kiss your jawline and run a hand against your side. ‘’it’s just.. nice getting away from all this sometimes.. that’s how we met after all..’’ you smile, reminiscing while he remembers as well, raising his head to look down at you lovingly.
‘’I quite enjoyed the part where you practically couldn’t hold in your beverage the next morning when we entering the kitchen at the same time. Stark’s idea at bringing you here to keep you safe rather backfired on him, didn’t it?”
‘’I’m rather safe here, aren’t I?” you think out loud before you catch the mischief in his eyes and squealed when he lowered his head to nibble at your neck.
‘’I’d say you’re quite in danger darling..’’ he purred and nipped your soft skin, kissing at your jawline while his hands ran down to grip your sides, causing you to squirm a bit as his touch tickled you.
‘’well speaking of kitchen,’’ you giggled, getting in control of yourself while he smiles and presses his forehead to yours. ‘’let’s go find something to eat.’’
‘’are we going to pretend we aren’t lovers again?” he asked calmly while he rested a hand against your cheek, his thumb stroking against your soft skin while you lean into his touch.
‘’I wouldn’t say so.. mom probably already made the phone call..’’ you say with a hint of nervousness as you sat up once Loki did, taking a hold of your hand and helping you up to your feet.
‘’then perhaps we could-‘’
‘’keep it PG Loki, I don’t need my father having a heart attack because you’re comfortable doing things outside this room.’’ You lightly warn him and fit your shirt that had hiked up from your previous position.
‘’PG?” he asked with a raised brow, following you over to the door.
‘’I’ll explain later, basically just- water your affections down.. a lot.. a lot a lot..’’
Loki sighed and nodded, opening the door for you to step out first before he followed into the hall of the tower. ‘’very well darling, I will do my best to keep my hands to myself-‘’
‘’what the fuck?!” Tony’s voice could be heard down the halls as you both quickly booked it towards the elevator.

seven sentence sunday (but way too many sentences for that so we'll double it as a wip wednesday to make up for missing it the last few weeks)
tagged by @reyesstrand @alrightbuckaroo @rmd-writes thank you lovelies <3
back to this fic because I watched 13 going on 30 twice more this weekend annnddd yeah, I found some words!!
TK knows there’s only one other person in his life that would help this to all make sense, if that was even possible at this point. He dials the number off by heart, hoping that it hasn’t changed in all these years. It rings and rings, and by the third time, he begins to lose hope. Until, finally, he hears the call pick up.
“Hello, Gwyneth Strand.” His mother’s voice says, and immediately more confusion sets in. Strand? Why is his mother addressing herself by his father's name? “Hello, is anyone there? I don’t take too kindly to prank calls.”
TK swallows hard, and he tries to hold his emotion in, but he can hear his voice crack when he says, “Mom?”
“TK?” She says, and he can even hear the surprise in her voice. Like she hasn’t heard from him in a significant amount of time. Like she had forgotten, he even existed. Her voice instantly softens. “Is everything okay, sweetheart?”
The term of endearment instantly sends a wave of comfort over TK, like how Gwyn’s hugs used to do when he was younger and had come home from a bad day at school. He remembered how they always used to sit down and she would make her best homemade hot chocolate and they’d talk for hours. Obviously that’s something that hasn’t happened in a while.
“I don’t know,” TK admits because he truly has no idea what in the world is going on. He feels like he’s in some type of fever dream. But, his mother’s voice was alert and panicked, like she was worried something was very wrong. He wasn’t going to worry her further. “I just missed you is all, I wanted to make sure that you were okay, that —” Nothing bad happened to you. He doesn’t say it, but the worry had settled so deeply within him that he couldn’t help but think it.
“I’ve missed you, too, TK. I wasn’t expecting to hear your voice today, but I am so glad I did. It was a nice surprise.” Gwyn says.
TK wants to ask her how long. How long it’s been since she had heard his voice. But after the whole fiasco of it being six years since he had seen Carlos, he’s frankly scared of that answer.
But he decides to take a different route. “How is dad?”
“He’s okay,” Gwyn replies softly. “His treatments are as successful as they can be at this stage, and he’s keeping high hopes. I’m sure he would love a phone call from you.”
“Treatments?” TK asks.
“Yes, for his lung cancer. TK, are you sure you’re okay?”
TK’s whole world grinds to a halt, and he has to collapse into the chair at his desk at the revelation. His father has cancer, and he didn’t even know about it? But, he’s starting to realise he doesn’t know anything in this strange world he’s been thrust into.
“I’m fine,” He’s lying but he can’t and won’t make this phone call any more worrisome than it already is. “I will give him a call. I would like to catch up with him. I feel like I’ve missed so much, I’m sorry for that.”
“Oh, sweetheart, you don’t need to be sorry. You’ve been busy, and your father and I have always been so proud of you. Even if that means getting well acquainted with your voicemail.”
It’s meant to be a joke, but it makes TK’s heart shatter all the same. How do all the most important people in his life barely know who he is anymore?

Apparently the multiverse is real
Chapter 2: The new it girl
Masterlist
previous | next
Pairing: the avengers x reader
Disclaimer: English is not my first language so you may find some funny words/sentences or broken grammar in here. I'll say sorry in advance but I've tried my best.
Summary: You accidentally travel to Marvel universe(not earth-616), but luckily you've got your phone with you. You may ask what do you mean luckily, just read this fiction.
Warning: mention of injuries, accident and death
Tumblr media
"Yes, she is my daughter" Tony answers to one of the press
"If I may ask, where and who is her mother, sir?" One of the reporters raises a hand and asks
"I met her mother a long time ago, she's one of the scientists in my lab and tragically she died from an accident when there was the Attack in New York in 2012" Damn Tony is such a good liar, if he's not a billionaire already, I think he would go well in politic.
After that day that I had an agreement with Tony Stark. He managed all the paperwork, created my new identity, he made up about how I was a child prodigy like him, I got my (fake) master's in Physics and Engineering from MIT at the age of 16, after my (non-existent) mom died I moved back to live with him in New York. Now I live in Stark Tower with him and Pepper on the top floor. We didn't tell Pepper about who I really am, so now she's kinda mad at Tony that he had a daughter with another woman that she didn't know about.
As an exchange, he asked me the info about all of the strengths and weaknesses of his team members, The Avengers. He's doing the batman thing kinda stuff I just knew it. I didn't give him all of the info right now because I still need something left to negotiate with him, who knows, if he got all the info right now, he may cut me out of his life that easy, and I will be out there, no money, no clothes, nowhere to go again.
"So now she's going to live with you?" The press still asking Tony
"Yes and with Pepper of course" He answers apologetically while looking at Pepper
"So why do you want to make it official now, sir?"
"Because she is now the co-CEO of Stark Industries" And just like that, the press went WILD. But Tony couldn't care less. He walks out so I follow him. I guess he ran out of the script that he prepared.
Oh, and did I mention that I am now sharing a net worth, worth of $100 Billion. I gotta say that I kinda love my life here and maybe don't want to go back right now.
'Well, if I'm going to have a daughter, she's going to have everything as she wants, she's a Stark, you know?' I recall what Tony said when I asked him about co-CEO.
"You're going to be on the first page of every tabloid tomorrow honey" Pepper approaches me and gives me a reassuring grip.
"She can handle it, she's a Stark" Tony said and look at me with the look that only we can know what it means
"Yeah, dad's right, I'll be fine Pepper, you don't have to be worried about me at all, in fact, I think you two should go now before the restaurant skips your reservation"
"You know that I own the restaurant right?" Tony asks
"Yeah yeah just go already" I roll my eyes at him
"Are you sure you're gonna be alright, alone?" Pepper asks
"Yes, I'm fine, I'm planning on maxing out dad's card by shopping to kill my time anyway" I teasingly pull out a credit card that Tony gave me earlier and waving it in front of Tony.
Tony's about to say something but Pepper just grabs his arm and walks him to the helipad outside.
Aah, looks like it's time for me to explore the city.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tony did give me one of his cars and luckily he gave me Happy too. Cuz I don't think I can handle NY traffic alone.
Happy drove me to Soho and I did my shopping, I bought new clothes, bags, shoes, makeup, and toiletries.
I wonder if this universe has something called an influencer? I think I can be one. There're people looking at me and gossiping about me all the time that I go shopping. I thought the news would be out tomorrow but turned out some of the press did live interviews. So now everyone knows that I'm Tony Stark's daughter.
"Excuse me, can I have a photo with you?" One of the girls on the street asks me
"Oh okay.." I don't know what to say but I don't like to say no to people
And then all of the people around there start to ask me for photos until I can't feel my cheeks anymore. Luckily Happy was worried about why I go shopping for too long, so he came and rescued me from the crowd in time.
After that, I ask him to drive me to Queens because I really want to meet Spider-man, I'm planning on getting to know him and took some couple of selfies with him.
Going into Queens is impossible, there're long lines of traffic jams in every lane. I waited in the car for about 30 mins and couldn't wait any longer, so I told Happy to wait in the car, as I step out, I hear people scream, there's a cloud of smoke everywhere and then I see. There is a building in the corner that is on fire.
Maybe it was the fact that I know I'm in a comic book and I don't think I can die, all I think of right now is I need to help those people out of the building. So I run as fast as I could and surprisingly I arrive at the building in like 10 seconds, but it was 3 miles from my car, how did I get here so fast? Anyway, there's no time for that right now. I look up at the building and there he was, Spider-man, his right hand was swinging with his web while his left arm is holding a woman. He lands and drops her in front of me. Then he continues to go back inside the building, searching for more survivors. The woman that he saved, she looks at me and crying.
"Please help me, my baby's still inside that building. Please. Please" She's crying into my arm.
"Miss, You stay here ok? I'll go inside and look for your baby" I said and run inside the building. There's fire everywhere, on the floor from the ceiling. I run through every floor. And finally, I found a toddler, crying in his crib. I grab him, cover him with some wet cloth and run outside. As I reach the front door, I realized the ceiling is about to collapse, I know I'm not gonna make it. So I hug that little boy, curl myself, and bam! the ceilings collapse on me, but I don't feel pain. Yes, I can still feel the heat, but I think I must injure myself somewhere because of those ceilings. But no. All I can see are some little wounds that healing themselves.
I walk out the building in shock as everyone there staring at me. I hand the woman her baby. And I look at myself, discovering my new abilities.
"Woah, so you can heal yourself or something, that is so cool" I don't need to look up to know who is talking to me. It's Peter Parker aka Spider-man.

Foolish Games Part 2
Masterlist
A/N: Introducing new characters and some drama! Percy is still sexy as ever :'(.
Warnings: BJ
I woke up to a door slamming so hard it joined the symphony of my pounding headache. I groaned, hoisting myself over the back of the couch to investigate to intrusion. A brunette head of long sweeping hair rushed through the foyer, barreling towards the kitchen. A familiar mop of black hair hurried after.
Reyna was speaking so fast in Spanish my brain scrambled to keep up. I noted lots of curse words followed by a series of sentences too fast I was surprised she even knew what she was saying. Percy was answering in slow measured words, probably fighting a hangover of equal measure. I ducked behind the back of the couch, reaching for my phone plugged in on the coffee table.
It was noon. 2% battery and a couple messages from friends. Nothing from my ex thank gods. Five from Annabeth being nosey. I opened my uber app, squinting in the sunlight breaking through the cream curtains. I managed to get my driver secured.
A door slammed and I winced, peaking to check that they were in another room. I did not immediately spot my dress in the chaotic. I grimaced remembering the midnight swim. When I sat up I finally noticed the white tshirt I wore and the basketball shorts. And then I went rigid remembering what happened after the swim.
“Motherfucker,” I whispered.
Now I really had to get out of this house. I checked the arrival time of my driver. Three minutes away. Great. I made my way on shaky knees to the large wooden front door. My keys were still in the collection dish. I grabbed them quietly and turned the door handle a fraction of an inch before another door slammed open and Reyna came barreling back into the foyer, brown eyes landing promptly on my guilty ass. Behind her, Percy pursed his lips into a thin line and raised both of his hands to lay on top of his head. His biceps strained nicely against the thin t shirt.
“The fuck is this?” Reyna whispered.
“Nothing. Absolutely nothing,” I babbled.
“It’s just Noa, Rey. Gods,” Percy said.
“I can see that, Percy!” She snapped. I was glad her spear was not strapped across her back this morning. “Why is she sneaking out of my house in your clothes?”
“People were swimming last night. Her clothes got wet.”
“I’m sure the fuck they did.”
“Zeus, Rey! You ended it with me. Why does it even matter?”
“Because I still fucking love you! I’m sorry, okay?” She burst out crying and Percy instantly pulled her against his chest. The memory of being in those arms drove me out the door like a nest of hornets.
~~~~
“I’m just saying. You have nothing to feel sorry for,” Annabeth paused to sip her iced coffee. “Unless they get back together and then you sleep with him. But as of right now, you’re good. Trust me. Been on the Percy train. We’re still friends. You’ll get over it. Just a harmless rebound for both of you.”
I groaned, laying my chin on the cool metal table parked outside our favorite coffee shop positioned between our New York apartments. Just two Manhattan women enjoying their Sunday afternoon. The air was cooling as fall neared. I pulled my baseball cap closer to the top of my sunglasses.
“Should I call him?”
“Maybe tomorrow. Let him deal with his relationship drama. Reyna is a lot to deal with. Still nothing from fuckface?”
“Nope and that’s fine.”
“Good for you. We will hydrate you, get you a good dinner, hit the gym before work in the morning and then get back on our bad bitch mental track. Agreed?”
~~~~
“Good Monday, yogis,” I chirped from my desk at the corner of my studio.
The third class was beginning to trickle in and I was settling into my rhythm. Hot yoga was next and hopefully I would sweat out all the negativity I’d allowed lately. I was in the middle of emailing back a potential client when someone rapped at the wood of my desk. I glanced up to a blonde male who waved gently.
“Heya, sansei Noa,” he said.
“That’s karate. Can I help you?”
“Do you do trial classes?”
I hit send on my email and closed my laptop. The guy was built like a poser with the defined muscles and chiseled jaw but his voice was soft and tempered. He was clean shaven and dressed like a basic gym bro.
“Normally you have to schedule them beforehand because of class size,” I gave my standard answer.
“Right, my bad. Sorry. I was just passing by the front and it looked like the kind of place I needed right now. Can I go ahead and pick a date then?”
I was staring too long into his pale blue eyes, honed in on the polite response. A nice change from the daily demanding consumers. “You know what? Ive got space right now if you like? Have you ever done hot yoga?”
A brilliant white smile showcasing sharp canines. “My favorite.”
“Perfect. I just need a name, number and email to get you a file started.”
He leaned large hands on my desk. “It’s Luke Castellan.”
Before he could give the contact information, I cut him off. “Wait. I know you.” His tanned skin paled significantly.
“I…”
“You’re supposed to be dead!” I blurted out.
His eyes skated around the room and he leaned in closer. “That’s not supposed to be public knowledge. I assume you’re a demigod?”
“Luke, you trained me. We took fucking sculpting together. The Apollo table was right next to the Hermes one for fuck’s sake.”
He winced. I heard a murmuring from the rest of my class I was disturbing with my volume. I collected my shock finally. “Take a seat if you want. We should talk after class. I need to start.”
“Okay. Thank you. I’m sorry Noa.”
I waved him off and walked over to my yoga mat. I sat cross legged and drew in an even breath to smooth out my emotions.
It was a slow 30 minute class. Each pose and movement dragged on. Finally, I dismissed the group and nodded Luke outside. He was waiting on the bench outside of the studio I split renting with a few other instructors. I sat next to him, wiping sweat from my face with the towel slung over my pink sports bra.
“Alright, talk,” I said.
“Not much to say. I was given a second chance at my hearing. Here I am. Starting over.” A shrug of well-defined shoulders. The muscles flexed beneath his gleaming sweat. His red tank top stuck to his chest and stomach. “I wish I remembered you, truly. That time is such a blur in my life.”
“It’s ok. You were a lot older than me and to be honest I had a massive crush on you so I probably hid most of the time.”
A surprised smile slipped across his lips. “I’m assuming the betrayal helped you get over that?”
I laughed outloud, slapping his knee. “No shit! So where are you staying these days?”
“Just around the corner actually. Got a job at the local gym.”
“Yeah I bet the fuck you did.” I squeezed his forearm between both of my hands. I wanted to roll my eyes at me falling back into my school girl giddy at him. Betrayal of the gods aside. He was even more gorgeous than ever. The scar down his face gave him a dark sexy vibe. Like a bad boy even though he claimed he was rehabbing himself now.
“So how, did you feel about the class?”
“I mean, I’d like to sign up for it a couple times a week, that’s for sure. And I’d like to take you out to dinner to make up for not remembering a beauty like you.”
I almost bit my cheek biting out the response of “Yes!”
“You’ve got my number,” he said, chuckling quietly. “I’ve got to get to work.” He shouldered his gym bag and excused himself.
The bike back to my apartment was spent reliving my tween fantasies about bad boy Luke. I opened my apartment door and screeched seeing a man sitting at my kitchen counter. Percy turned to face me.
“You know you live in New York? You should really lock that.”
“It was!” I snapped.
A quick grin. “Yeah. But it was easy to break into.”
I dropped my bag onto the floor and brushed past him to get a protein shake from the fridge. “I have to shower and get prepared for my night classes.” I told him.
“I know. I’m sorry I didn’t call earlier.”
I shrugged. “I didn’t either.”
He paused, studying my face in the shitty lighting of the single bulb hanging between us over the counter. “Are we good, Noa?”
“Of course. What’s a little head between friends?”
“Okay…I can’t read you. Can you not play tough just for a minute?”
I chugged the shake and set the bottle down between us. I leaned my arms on the chilled counter, bun knocking against the light. “Honestly, Percy. I’m fine. We are good.”
“Reyna moved back in.”
“You’re engaged again?”
I drank from the empty bottle to give myself something to do. He watched me with those green eyes. He’d known me for far too long. He was nearly impossible to deceive, but I was determined today. The fact that I had dreamt of fucking him two consecutive nights was irrelevant if he was off the table. Even if his lips did look incredibly juicy tonight. Even if they had done near illicit things to me just nights ago.
“I don’t know. She said she wanted to work on things. And it’s her dad’s house, so I can’t ask her to go and I don’t want to go to my mom’s and admit defeat.”
“You know you could stay here, Perc.”
He worked his jaw silently, then rubbed his hands over his face. “Thanks. I do know. Even if we aren’t officially back together, I think we should work on it…” he trailed off.
“And not tell her about you eating me out?” I leaned closer because I was mean to both him and myself. Because I knew this top combined with this angle gave him a simple opportunity. And he took it.
His tongue slid out between his lips as his eyes flicked down, stayed, then dragged deliberately back up. “Probably not,” he agreed.
For a long moment neither of us said anything. He had more to lose now than me. We were no longer on equal playing fields. So, I left the ball in his court. “I’m going to go shower.”
I was done washing in the first ten minutes. The second ten was giving him a little wiggle room to decide. I had my hand on the faucet to cut off the water that was beginning to go cold when I heard the door creak open. I watched through the fogged glass, catching a hold of my breath. I watched as he tugged his shirt off. My stomach flipped over itself when he reached for his jeans. What had I done?
The opening door let in a rush of cool air, perking my skin to attention. My eyes raked unapologetically over his naked, aroused body. His dark hair quickly slicked against his stubble covered jaw. His eyes were no longer the sea green but murky like the deep water of the ocean.
“Hey,” he said quietly, cautiously.
“Hey,” I giggled, reaching out to touch his rough jaw. He winced, catching my hand with his. “We probably shouldn’t kiss again.”
“Sure, whatever you want, Percy. What can I do to you?”
He groaned, turning his mouth into my palm, scraping teeth against the vulnerable skin. “Touch me,” he said.
My free hand instantly planted against his chest, scraping at the muscle. His eyes fluttered closed, head tilting back to expose his throat. I slid my other hand into his thick hair, tugging it tightly between my fingers and pulling to grant myself more access to the strong column of his neck. I bit it first, backing him into the tiled wall when he shuddered. I kissed over the reddening skin and moved my hands to his flat stomach, feeling the shuddered breaths beneath my touch.
“Like this?” I asked.
His reply was unintelligible. I kissed down his chest, moving my hand lower still as I went. When my fingers brushed over the v-line of his hips, I shifted my route away from the center and to his thighs. An annoyed grunt escaped his lips. “Hush,” I scolded, getting my knees under me. The now cold water was hitting the back of my neck and flowing down my body. I placed my hands on the inside of both his thighs, trailing them upwards and upwards until he nearly contorted when I gripped him. He let out a scandalous string of curses that quickly turned to moaning silence when I took him into my mouth.
He unraveled in minutes and I let him cum all over the breasts I had teased him with earlier. I rose in front of him, my own rosy cheeks mirroring his. “Now we’re even.”

Y/F and Y/M Robins were far from perfect parents. Y/F had the mental age of a toddler at times, and being an estate agent who always has to go the extra mile- he often wasn't home when his wife needed him the most. Y/M, on the other end of things, had been a stay at home mum until Y/N turned 16 last summer, and now she helped with all the administrative work for Mayor McCoy. She was a maternal creature which, coupled with her brilliant sarcasm, made for some explosive conversations. The two met on the first day of university and got married a week after the last.
When Y/M first found out she was pregnant with little Y/S Robins, the two realised they wanted a quiet bubble of a town to raise their children and grow up with them. But it wasn't until their second daughter was about to turn seven until they found their forever home in the quaint town of Riverdale. Ten years passing before their eyes, and the picturesque place didn't seen all that anymore.
Jason Blossom's death had nothing to do with the short gunshot sounding over the waves of Sweetwater River, the noise which woke Y/N from her sweet unmemorable dreams every few nights. The summer days rolled into early August without anyone caring, Y/N spending most of them at Cheryl's side listening intently to her past adventures with her brother. Betty threw herself into an internship at a publication house; Flick and Cherry had volunteered at a summer camp, and Archie was helping his dad out more and more with constructions job.
Although it hadn't been the start to the relationship Y/N had hoped for- the nervous giggles and hand holding, short and sweet kisses on late night walks followed by poetry worthy cuddling. There was a magnificent silver lining as Archie's muscles gained definition, and he suited the sweaty builder look far too well.

"Earth to my gorgeous queen? Y/N/N?" Cheryl quizzed her friend, who currently resided at the poolside of Thornehill Manor. Her mind was off on a glorious tangent about her rendezvous in the kitchen at two in the morning. Fixing herself a glass of water, when Archie slips his hand into her pyjama shorts, his other around her mouth muffling her needy moans.
The red headed beauty shoved her y/h/c friend playfully, warm skin sweaty under her pale touch. Y/N blinked innocently and sent her an apologetic smile, "What?"
"I asked if you've thought about dating anyone else since Clayton?" The fiery ginger girl enquired with her usual upbeat tone.
Cheryl knew she had a unique quality about her which made it almost impossible for Y/N to lie to her face. The y/h/c girl scrunched up her nose, hiding the smile the idea of Archie Andrews brought to her face. 'Yes. We started off as fuck buddies but never actually fucked. Then I drunkenly asked him to be my boyfriend, now a month later I think we may genuinely work out.'
"Maybe." Y/N bit her bottom lip, listening to her friend's squeal as she squeezed her sun tanned arm.
"I knew it! You have this euphoric glow you only get when someone else makes you climax." The redhead affirmed confidently, watching the Robins girl's eyes bug out before hitting her arm, "Y/N/N, you know your secret's safe with me."
"Fine." She sighed and took a sip of her fruity cocktail, "It started off as just fooling around, honestly I just needed to let off some steam after everything. I knew he was into the kinds of things I was, I mean he used to tease me about it non stop. And it was good, so good I stopped being a pussy and asked him to be my boyfriend."
"Holy freaking hell!" The Blossom girl grinned with excitement, "Dare I ask, who is it?"
Y/N deadpanned at her friend, "Guess."
"Please don't tell me it's that muscular oaf Reggie, he's pretty but there's not exactly much going on upstairs." Cheryl tapped her temples and rolled her eyes at the thought.
"Nope."
The ginger thought for a moment, consulting her liquid courage and splashing her feet around the waters edge, "It's Archie."
All it took was a side-eyed glance at the y/h/c girl's blooming rosy cheeks to know she definitely wasn't wrong. Y/N severely lacked the ability to lie, even if her tone held conviction, her features were far too expressive and told the truth all on their own. It's not like they were hiding it from anyone, but the past four weeks had gone far too quickly without any moments to spare for the world around them. They slept together each night, the majority of that time not actually spent sleeping, but they hadn't been given the chance yet to explore more romantic avenues.
"It's fucking Archie Andrews- you're fucking Archie Andrews and don't you dare deny it." Cheryl gawked in her gorgeous white and nude bikini, watching as her friend lay back against the hot marble slabs which encased the large pool with the largest grin adorning her plump lips.
"We haven't had sex yet, so technically you aren't completely correct." Y/N winked but carried on before the girl exploded with a hundred questions and could never be turned off, "Trust me, I want to, and I'm sure he does too. But you know, it's his first time, I want it to be perfect for him."
"Y/N/N, you really love him, don't you?" Cheryl gagged to begin with, but she found it sweet in truth. She wanted someone to hold, who would hold her right back just as tight for no other reason than needing to.
Y/N sat back up and paddled her feet, "You have no idea, Cher."

Awe cute we love a bromance, and it's all good my mommas coming now anyways :))
Hours had elapsed far too fast and soon the summer heat simmered into cool waves of wind brushing over sun kissed skin. Cheryl's arms were clasped around the blonde's shoulders in a tight embrace.
"Thank you so much, Y/N/N, I don't know what I'd do without you!" The Blossom girl professed with sparkling eyes and a brilliant smile.
Y/N beamed up at her, fingers carding through her damp y/h/c hair as she looked over her shoulder to see her mum pulling into the driveway, "You don't need to thank me, Cher, friends look after each other. Message me if you need me, okay?"
Cheryl promised she would and the two teen girls hugged goodbye, with Y/N soon heading home- listening to her mother gossip about Hal and Alice's screaming match last night, Y/N loved her inability to keep her mouth shut sometimes.
"Mom," The y/h/c stopped her mid sentence and received a side eyed glance in response, "I need to tell you something and you're totally not allowed to freak out while you're driving."
Y/M's eyes widened and her grip tightened around the steering wheel, her daughters very rarely confided in her. While she knew her youngest was safe in her promiscuity, neither of Y/M Robins' girls ever shared their secrets so for the most part she took finding out into her own hands.
"Honey," The forty four year old's calm tone was hardly comforting to the teenager, "if this is about you and Archie fooling around, your father and I figured that out a long time ago, like so long ago. Who do you think does your laundry? When your underwear starting looking like dental floss, we caught on pretty quickly."
Y/N felt like a deer in headlights, "Mum, what the hell?" Her cheeks heated to an inhuman temperature.
"It's nothing to be embarrassed about, as long as you're being safe and he's-"
"For the second time today, and I can't believe I'm saying this to you, but I am not having sex with Archie Andrews!" Y/N's high pitched voice sounded through the car. It truly was a blessing and a curse to have such open minded parents in situations like this. She thought about telling her mother the truth, but Y/M was a blabber mouth as well as a gossip, so Y/N chose to withhold certain pieces of information.
The Robins matriarch dropped the subject but didn't forget about her daughter's tone, and continued to ramble on about how odd she found Penelope Blossom and the whole Blossom family in general. "Like why on Earth is Rose in a wooden wheelchair? They know it's the twenty first century, right?"
As expected, the Robins household was once again filled with warm laughter and copious amounts of food. The topic of Jason was skimmed over, and Y/S found herself away from the dinner table. The eldest Robins sibling was currently pleading with Alice as she began shoving all of Polly's belongings in the boot of Hal's car. She couldn't comprehend life without her best friend, not after losing Jason. They were meant to be going travelling together for a year- working the worst jobs and staying up all night to watch the sun rise in different countries. But instead, Y/S's eyes were blinded by tears as she screamed down the street at the speeding car, with Polly Cooper taken out of her life indefinitely.
Y/N was oblivious to the dark inner workings of the Cooper clan, Betty's knowledge about her and Archie unbeknownst to the loved up teens. She'd spent every second not occupied by her internship trying to justify the romantic act as a fleeting moment of loneliness fuelled by alcohol. She wrote in her diary ideas on how she could win Archie back over, not knowing it was in fact, too late. Betty found herself hopelessly in love with the boy next door, unfortunately for her, the girl across the road was the only one his mind found.
Archie and Y/N washed up while their parents resided to the living room with three glasses and a bottle of white wine. The short girl turned the tap off after placing the last utensil on the draining board, flicking her sudsy hands at the boy's face. "What the-"
She didn't give him a chance to finish that thought, jumping up and wrapping her legs around his torso- planting a kiss onto his lips, then cheeks, then forehead. The two fell entranced by each other, planting pecks across nape of her neck and top of his head.
"Son," Fred's voice called out from the next room and the two immediately pulled apart, hearts beating in their ears, "we're going in a minute."
"Alright." He replied, placing his girlfriend on the floor once more.
"I wish you'd stay." Y/N pouted childishly, she meant the words entirely but hated feeling overbearing. Her life had been turned upside down this summer, it started off with her unable to fall asleep with another person next to her- now Archie's chest was her most comfortable pillow and is arms were the warmest blanket.
"Tomorrow night instead, Princess? I promised my dad I'd spend more time with him before senior year." The boy reasoned, holding her close and unknowingly feeling the exact same way, he adored holding her by her waist and pulling her close under the duvet.
"Monopoly night at yours?" She grinned and he nodded back in reply, the two sharing a final kiss in the kitchen before walking into the hallway.
Y/N felt at ease as she wished the two a goodnight and headed up to bed. She took off her tea dress and replaced it with Archie's bulldog t-shirt, managing to reach the same length on her thighs as her dress did.

Sometimes Stupid
Commission for @randomfandomfan from one of their many prompts they gave me. Took forever bc of work and life and also???? Now I have a cat??? So that's fun. But this was fun to write. Read it here on AO3
Set post TLO and pre HOO (and a little bit post HOO). Under a cut for length.
~~
Contrary to popular belief, Leo Valdez was not stupid.
He was an idiot, at times – for instance, maybe running away from his seventh (fifteenth? He’d really lost track at this point) foster home wasn’t the best decision he could have made, especially given that it was the middle of summer and oh, also, hurricane season. And okay, maybe he should’ve taken more with him than a single change of clothes, a box of Ritz crackers, a pocketknife, and a water bottle that had definitely seen better days, but he was in a rush, okay?
But he wasn’t stupid.
When he ran away from his foster homes, Leo tended to stay away from people where he could. And if he had to be around them, he cleaned up, smiled brightly, “Yes ma’am”ed and “Yes’sir”ed to an obnoxious point, and lied his pants off. People were less likely to call the police on a Hispanic kid if they thought he was just a darling little angel waiting for mom at the grocery store, and the last thing he needed was the cops in his business.
Not that it hadn’t happened, of course. He’d dealt with cops of all kinds – nice cops, bad cops, black cops, white cops (WAY too many of those, in his opinion), the occasional cop who would speak Spanish with him, cops who were just there to write a report and move on with their days – cops.
He tried to stay away from them.
Which meant sticking to beaches and forests, lakes and campgrounds, middle of nowhere places with no people for miles. Leo was good at disappearing. Hiding.
But there were always times when he needed an adult. When he needed to hitchhike, or when he needed food to the point of near passing out. Once for serious medical attention. There was a system to what adults you could trust.
Never cops. You could never trust the cops, no matter what naïve white parents thought. Leo had been in cuffs enough to know that was false.
You also couldn’t usually trust priests. They meant well, sure, but they always ended up calling the authorities in the end. That, or they tried to convert Leo to Catholicism, and while one of those encounters had ended with a swiped bottle of watered-down red wine and a night that made him vow to never drink again, he wasn’t trying to contact the church.
(THAT night, Leo would say he had been stupid. He could admit that)
Homeless people were usually okay. While a lot of them were very suspicious of everyone, almost every homeless person he’d ever met would point him in the direction of food, water, free showers, free clothes, or a library (his saving grace during the heat of the summer and the cold of the winter). The times when he came across gay homeless people were when he felt safest – they especially never pressed him about his background. Ironic, really, that he felt safer with strangers on the street than his foster homes.
Moms were sometimes okay. Especially if they were Hispanic, or black, or just anything but white. They, at least, wouldn’t call the cops on him. But they were also hit or miss – sometimes they helped in way of a meal, or a new bottle of water. One mom even took him to the store and got him new socks and underwear (he had cried that night). But other moms rushed him away from their precious babies. Some moms called him ungrateful for the “space he had.”
Dads were a never. Leo never went to men if he could help it, even if they had children with them. He didn’t trust them as far as he could throw them, and that wasn’t very far.
But it was hurricane season. And he was on the coast. And it was downpouring, and he was starving, and the only people he had seen for miles were a white couple, a man and a woman, standing on the porch of a somewhat rundown shack that Leo would’ve probably thought was abandoned if he hadn’t seen them there.
The man was tall, peppered hair that was shifting more to salt, with a rough beard and a pair of glasses perched on his nose. The woman at his side was short, probably Leo’s height, with dark curly hair and vibrantly blue eyes. It was streaked with gray, but she was, admittedly, a very pretty woman. Something about her smile put Leo at ease.
He clutched his backpack tighter in his fist and stumbled over the sand towards the shack, ankles rolling uncomfortably on the wet ground. He was sure he looked atrocious, sure that the moment they spotted him, they’d shriek and cuss him out and lock the door.
But then he coughed, hard, his shoulders shaking, and the woman whipped her head around. He watched her eyes widen, watched her tug at the man’s sleeve, and then she was bolting – barefoot, Leo noticed – down the steps and over to him.
He flinched when she wrapped an arm over his shoulders, jolting out of her grip more from habit than anything else. She froze, holding both hands up and relaxing her stance. “Hey, honey. It’s okay. It’s okay.”
Somewhere deep down, Leo’s brain was scoffing at the patronizing words. But on the surface, he focused on the words, and then sharpened his eyes onto the man as he approached, phone in hand. “I-I c-can’t-”
The woman looked back, down at the phone, and her shoulders stiffened. “Paul, put the phone away, please.”
Her voice held an intonation that Leo couldn’t decipher, but the man – Paul – instantly shut the phone off and pocketed it. The moment it was gone, Leo let his shoulders loosen, and he looked at the woman anxiously. “I’m sorry,” he whispered. “I-I just…”
“Hey.”
Her arm was more cautious this time, sliding around Leo’s shoulders with a pace that would let him move if he wanted. He didn’t, just let it happen, and then the woman was easing him over the sticky sand and up the steps of the shack, Paul close behind them. He stopped at the door, pushing back hard against the woman’s guiding grip. “I don’t want to ruin your house,” he managed.
The woman’s laugh was…well, to be perfectly honest, it made Leo feel warm. Like she could never hurt him.
Those are usually the most dangerous people, his mind tried to reason with him.
“Sweetheart, it’s just a rental cabin. Besides, I’ve had far worse than a little sand and water on my floors before.”
Before he could wonder at that sentence, she opened the door and nudged him inside. The second that Paul closed the door, the sound of the wind died down and the chill in the air evaporated. Leo realized he was shivering.
The woman’s hands were warm on his cheeks. “My name is Sally, hon. You are-?”
He usually gave a fake name, but – “Leo, ma’am.”
“Don’t you ma’am me,” she scoffed, her voice easy as she helped Leo to the couch. “I’m not that old, am I Paul?”
Paul put his hands up. “I abstain from answering.”
Sally scoffed and pressed a cool hand on Leo’s forehead. “Can I take your backpack, sweetheart?”
Something like panic flared in Leo’s chest, and Sally must have seen it, because she pulled her hand back and held it up. “I’m not moving it far, I just want Paul to dry everything out for you, okay?”
Fingers shaking, Leo shrugged off his bag – the one he’d been carrying for nearly three states – and passed it over to her. She took it like it was a priceless artifact, and handed it to Paul with more tenderness than Leo had ever seen given to an inanimate object. “I think my son might have left some clothes here while he was with us last week,” she said, voice soft. “He’s a little older than you, so some things might be big, but is it okay if we give you some of his clothes while we dry out yours?”
Leo swallowed around the lump in his throat. “Um. Yeah.”
She stood up and left with Paul, giving Leo a moment to be alone and take in the cabin around him.
It was old, but obviously well taken care of, with weathered planks of wood gracing the walls and the floor. He was in the living room, full of mismatched couches and chairs and a bookshelf stacked full of books and games. He didn’t see a TV in sight, but he wasn’t expecting to find one. He stood shakily, suddenly very aware of how wet he was getting the couch, and wrapped his arms around himself as he explored the rest of the main room.
The kitchen was small and cramped, but he could smell something full of tomatoes and spices in the oven that made his tastebuds water. He didn’t dare look for fear of getting caught, so he stepped away and into the tiny dining area. There was sand on the floor, spread thin and fine, and it was such a small thing, but it made Leo relax even more – Sally meant it when she said she didn’t care about him ruining her floors.
But she and Paul had been gone for a while, and Leo wasn’t stupid, okay? It didn’t matter how well intentioned someone was, they always thought they knew better, and if they were gone too long, it meant they were trying to decide for him. So he crept towards the hallway they’d vanished to, praying that he didn’t step on a squeaky board. Old homes always had them in the most inconvenient places.
“-not answering?” he picked up Paul’s voice saying.
“No,” Sally said, a sigh in her voice. “He did say he and Annabeth were on a date, but I didn’t expect them to be in Paris of all places. How did they even-?”
“Can you get ahold of Chiron?”
Not the police, then, Leo reasoned, unless they knew an officer by that name. He leaned a little closer.
“No – I try not to call the camp unless I need to. Phone lines and all that, you know?”
Paul huffed. “I know. And Rachel is at art camp, right?”
“Yup,” Sally said, and Leo heard a sound like a blowing raspberry. “He clearly isn’t aware of anything, Paul. He’s terrified.”
“Probably a runaway,” Paul hummed, and Leo flinched at the damning statement. “Met a couple kids like that teaching.”
He looked like a teacher. You couldn’t trust most teachers either, Leo had learned. They were just like priests. Tried their best, but they always inevitably called someone.
“What did you do? Who did you call?” Sally asked, and Leo stiffened. Here it comes, his brain taunted.
“No one,” Paul said.
Leo blinked, taking a slight step back. What?
“Kids don’t run away for no reason, Sal. Especially not kids like him. Perce taught me that. I mean, maybe in my early days of teaching, I might have called the authorities, but ever since this summer I…how could I risk that? Even before then, I mean…the stories I’ve heard from some of these kids I’ve talked to. We don’t know anything about him. If he ran away, all this way, in this weather? It was bad, love.”
Leo’s throat ached.
He’d never, the whole time he’d been in foster care, ever heard an adult admit that they were wrong to call the authorities on him. Never heard an adult take his perspective into account, especially without even knowing him. Never had an adult admit that his life could be anything other than ideal.
He took another step back and oh shit, there it was, the cursed piece of wood in every old house to ever exist. He cussed under his breath and ducked his head as Sally stepped into the hallway. He refused to look up at her. “I’m sorry,” he whispered. “You were just gone for a while a-and I thought you might be calling someone.”
No verbal response. Instead, a soft bundle of fabric was pressed into Leo’s hands. He startled, gripping onto the clothing, and looked up at Sally and Paul with wide eyes. Paul shook his head. “We’re not calling anyone, son. Not if you don’t want us to. But we do ask that you get cleaned up, before you catch pneumonia.”
Sally tilted her head towards the door across the hall. “Let me know when you’re done, I’ll toss your clothes in the dryer. Paul was just finishing up dinner when you came along. Do you like lasagna?”
Leo’s mouth watered at the thought of eating any kind of food that wasn’t stale crackers and canned tuna. “Yes ma’am.”
“What’d I say about that ma’am nonsense?” Sally scolded.
Leo ducked his head, trying to press down the tears. “Yes, miss,” he chuckled.
Sally laughed as Paul headed for the kitchen. “It’s a start, love.”
~~
Sally’s son’s clothes were soft, well loved. They smelled like sea water and lavender detergent, and though the t-shirt was a gaudy orange with letters so faded that Leo couldn’t read them, he sank into the fabric with a sigh. Sally had also passed him a pair of sweatpants, and Leo hoped that her son wouldn’t be mad if he ever found out that some random foster kid had borrowed them.
If he was anything like Sally, though, Leo had the feeling he’d like him.
His hair was still wet, but this time from a shower, and Leo couldn’t remember the last time he’d gotten to stand under an actual stream of hot water without people literally timing him to make sure he didn’t take too long. He stood in front of the mirror, sighing a little at how skinny he’d gotten. He’d always been small – being skinny only made him more of a punching bag for the bigger foster kids. His hair, untamed from weeks of running, hung in his eyes, and he wondered briefly if Sally might have a hair tie he could borrow.
He left the bathroom and crept into the dining room, where Sally was setting the table and Paul was pulling one of the most beautiful lasagnas he’d ever seen out of the oven.
“-texted me, said they’d be back tomorrow morning. He offered to come back sooner,” Sally was saying as Leo stood in the doorway, “but I know he and ‘beth haven’t really gotten to go on any non-monstrous dates recently.”
She blinked when she saw him standing there, and her smile softened into something warm and inviting. “Come on, hon. Paul was just getting dinner out.”
Maybe it was the malnourishment, or Paul’s cooking skills, or Leo’s exhaustion, or a combination of the three, but Leo had never tasted such good Italian food in his life. He downed one, two, three pieces and a full salad before he finally slowed down. To his relief, neither Paul nor Sally gave him any grief about how many pieces he took. Honestly, he thought he watched Paul actively make his slices bigger than theirs.
They’d clearly been talking about their son when he came in the room. This guy was in Paris, on a date with his girlfriend, and he was coming back tomorrow. Leo wondered just how rich this family was – the dad was a teacher, but Sally hadn’t said what she did, and Leo was a little afraid to ask.
When Paul brought out a pie for dessert, Leo almost cried. He couldn’t remember the last time he’d had any dessert fancier than a stolen Ding Dong from a corner store. Paul definitely gave him a larger slice than them, and as he ate it, Sally poked at her own pie.
“Leo, we’re not going to pry,” she started, gentle. “Your story is yours, and I know how tricky it can be to share yourself and your past with new people.”
The sad smile Paul shot her didn’t go unnoticed by Leo, and he internally bristled at the thought that this wonderful mom in front of him could understand anything about how he felt, because that meant that she’d gone through shit she didn’t deserve. He said nothing, though, just nodded.
Sally eyed her pie thoughtfully, stabbing a blackberry that had escaped the crust. “But I feel like…well, I feel as though my son especially can relate to how you’re feeling, or at least some of it. If you’d be willing to wait for him to come home, maybe we can figure some things out together.”
Leo felt lost. He’d been lost a lot before, but this was the first time it was mental and not physical. “What?”
Sally looked up, seeming to realize that she’d baffled him. “I mean…”
She looked at Paul, and Leo looked between the two of them, tightening his grip on his fork. They were having a silent conversation. Leo hated when adults did that. “You mean you want to wait until I’m asleep so you can call the cops o-or foster services or-or just wait until your son gets back so he can tell me to get out.”
He shoved his chair back from the table, tears prickling at his eyes. Every time. Every time. He always got his hopes up, always thought he’d found the perfect people, people who got it, and every fucking time, he-
Hands settled on his shoulders, and he ripped away, scowling at Sally. Her eyes were sad, and Leo felt an unwelcome stab of guilt in his chest. “That is not what we were suggesting, ever, honey. I would never call foster services, first of all. They’re atrocious, especially for kids of color.”
Leo jolted back. He’d never had a white woman actively acknowledge his race so bluntly before – it was usually partnered with some demeaning comment about “his kind” of people. He eyed Sally warily.
She lowered her hands, keeping them on her hips where he could see them. “Second, I’d never call the police either. You’re not a problem, and my son has had enough unfortunate encounters with them for me to…distrust them severely, to say the least.”
Her son had-?
“I just…we know a place. Where you would genuinely be safe, hon. No foster homes, no cops, with people who get it.”
She was lying. She had to be lying, no matter what Leo’s heart said. But she wasn’t going to let this go, and he knew it. So he sighed, fidgeted with his fingers. He wished he had something to build. “Okay. I’ll wait for your son to get home.”
Sally relaxed, and Leo gave her a thin smile.
He helped her and Paul clean up the kitchen, put away the leftover lasagna. Sat with them and did a puzzle, played a game of Clue with them. Fixed their radio for them, much to their surprise, and then watched with a small smile on his face as Paul and Sally danced around the living room together. They tried to get him to join, but he’d never been much of a dancer, so he declined.
They bid him goodnight around 11, and he shut the door of their son’s room, let the hours tick on.
At three am, he got up, changed back into his own clothes, left the borrowed ones folded neatly on the foot of the bed. He took a flashlight from the bedside table and slid it into his backpack, stepped out of the bedroom and avoided the squeaky floorboard.
The tool kit from fixing the radio was still on the coffee table, and he picked it up with only the slightest feelings of guilt. Went through the cabinets and pulled out sleeves of crackers, a box of granola, eyed the leftover lasagna with a sad gaze. He found a roll of toilet paper under the sink, a bottle of hand sanitizer in a junk drawer.
He paused by the game of Clue, left out on the table from their match, and let his fingers trace over it sadly. His gut screamed at him to leave. His heart screamed at him to stay. He wasn’t stupid.
Leo had always trusted his gut.
He pocketed the candlestick piece and turned for the door, flinching the second his eyes landed on Sally.
Her hair was done up in a braid, her pajamas wrinkled, and the moon shining through the window reflected the sadness in her eyes. Leo opened his mouth, but couldn’t find it in him to speak – the lump was back.
She stepped forward and he shut his eyes, expecting a lecture. Instead, her hand cupped his cheek. Her other hand pressed into his, and he gasped as he felt the telltale touch of money in his fingers. He looked down at the wad of cash – he couldn’t see how much it was, but he knew that he didn’t deserve it. He looked up at her, panicking. “I can’t-”
“Stay, I know,” she whispered, and that wasn’t what he’d been planning to say, and he knew that she knew that. “I understand, Leo. I understand, sweetie.”
The sob slipped out before he could stop it, and Sally’s eyes softened. She bent at the hip, pressing a soft kiss to his curls. “When you end up meeting my son,” she murmured, “come visit, okay?”
Leo had no idea what that meant, but he nodded, if only to appease her. “I’m sorry,” he croaked.
She squeezed his shoulder. “Nothing to be sorry for, honey. Be safe.”
Sally watched him go, watched him shut the door behind him, and he looked down at the money in his hands with a choked feeling in his chest. It was more than he’d held in his entire life. He couldn’t take it, but he knew she’d be upset if he didn’t. And if there was one thing Leo refused to do, it was make Sally more upset than he already had.
So he pocketed it and, with an aching heart, stepped off the porch of the cabin. The storm from earlier had died down, and, fingers tight on his backpack straps, he started making his way up the beach.
~~
Percy was bouncing up and down at the entrance to Camp Half Blood, fingers curled around Annabeth’s hand. “Do I look okay?” he asked for probably the thousandth time that morning.
Piper rolled her eyes. “Percy, it’s your mom. She doesn’t care what you look like.”
Percy shot her a mock glare. “I haven’t seen her in over a year, McClean, sue me.”
“You look fine, Perce,” Annabeth laughed, kissing his cheek. “She’s gonna mostly care that you’re alive.”
“Okay but this tattoo-”
“Sorry, you vanished on me for over a year, crossed the globe, and you got a TATTOO?” came a very scolding, very obviously Mom Voice, and Leo snickered, turning to see who was about to absolutely whoop Percy’s ass.
And he stumbled on his own feet, lips parting as Sally (Sally Jackson, his unhelpful brain mocked) appeared at the top of the hill. Her hair was a little grayer than it had been when Leo met her, her hips a little wider, but her smile was the same, her laugh as Percy launched himself at her the same peal of delight Leo remembered on his toughest nights, and when she caught his eye over Percy’s shoulder, her smile only widened.
Okay, so sometimes Leo Valdez was kind of stupid.

suna rintaro is NOT a genius. (2)
Tumblr media
part 1
summary: you loved the idea of soulmates. suna rintaro didn’t. it isn’t that hard to put two and two together to realize that maybe people with different opinions on things don’t belong together.

[dr. natamoto] hello, rintaro-kun. how are you feeling this afternoon?
[suna rintaro] conflicted.
[dr. natamoto] ah. thank you for your honesty. so, what brings you here today?
[suna rintaro] team- ahem, my teammates.
[dr. natamoto] very well. (shuffles through notes) so, one of your teammates, miya-san, called me a little over a week ago and we discussed about your well-being.
[suna rintaro] ...i’m aware.
[dr. natamoto] do you have a specfic reason as to why you agreed to see a therapist?
[suna rintaro] i’ve.. been feeling down lately. I guess people noticed it, so i wanted to seek help.
[dr. natamoto] okay, (shuffles through notes) from my notes here, it seems that you’ve been feeling this way for a while. how long have you been feeling down altogether?
[suna rintaro] … a few months now. It’s gotten pretty bad these past few weeks. Alcohol has been my only escape. that’s kind of why i came.
[dr. natamoto] i see. Tell me, how often do you drink alcohol?
[suna rintaro] almost every day. i’ve been trying to reduce my alcohol intake because it affects the way i practice.
[dr. natamoto] i see. rintaro-kun, how would you describe yourself in one word?
[suna rintaro] (chuckles) irritable.
[dr natamoto] why did you pick “irritable”?
[suna rintaro] people say i’m an asshole, at least i’m aware. i know i get angry and annoyed easily, i’m not blind to my own actions.
[dr. natamoto] thank you for the explanation. so, miya-san also mentioned how you’ve been suspended from the black jackals team due to your behaviour recently.
[suna rintaro] (scoffs) if i knew that this place would make me feel shittier than i already do, i would’ve never agreed to come here.
[dr. natamoto] (chuckles) right, my apologies. (shuffles papers) so, growing up, miya-san mentioned that you lived in a destructive household? how so?
[suna rintaro] … (sighs) fuck. this is harder than i thought.
[dr. natamoto] take your time, please.
[suna rintaro] my parents didn't have the healthiest relationship with one another. my dad was an alcoholic and was abusive- still is i’m pretty sure. when he found out my mom was cheating on him he lost it i guess. (long pause) i don’t want to talk about my childhood that much.
[dr natamoto] i completely understand. last week, your father was taken into custody by the police, and you will have to speak at court, is that right?
[suna rintaro] ... yes.
[dr. natamoto] so, i’m guessing that ever since you heard the news, is when you’ve been feeling more down than usual?
[suna rintaro] yeah.
[dr. natamoto] tell me, rintaro-kun. at that specific moment, when you heard the news, what did you feel at first?
[suna rintaro] i don’t know, numb. i didn’t feel anything at first to be honest. It’s just been hard to be motivated to do things recently.
[dr. natamoto] okay, so you’ve been feeling numb, and haven’t gotten any motivation recently.
[suna rintaro] yeah.
[dr. natamoto] have you.. by any chance talked to someone about this?
[suna rintaro] (chuckles) i tried.
[dr. natamoto] and how did that go?
[suna rintaro] shitty.
[dr. natamoto] so sorry to hear that. who was this person you talked about it to?
[suna rintaro] someone really important to me, her name’s y/n—i fucked things up, again.
[dr. natamoto] how so?
[suna rintaro] she was concerend about my recent behaviour as well, i lashed out on her and said some hurtful shit that i didn't even mean. now she hates my guts, again.
[dr. natamoto] again? Explain.
[suna rintaro] i’ve known her since we were kids. our parents were childhood friends and we lived next door to each other our whole lives. we were never really close to one another, but we still talked every now and then.
[suna rintaro] i was into her in senior year of high school, though.that’s when we started getting closer. she acted like she didn’t want me but most girls act like that at first. they want you to chase after them, and i sure did even if i acted like a dick to her. it was worth it though.
[dr.natamoto] ... you must know a lot about girls.
[suna rintaro] sure do.
[suna rintaro] at her sister’s wedding a few years ago, i did some fucked up shit. She managed to give me another chance after meeting kimi and i fucked that up too. all i’ve ever done was hurt her. i keep coming back in her life and i bring her nothing but stress.
[suna rintaro] i want to be better—i really want to, but it feels like a never ending cycle. i just want to do something about it.
[dr. natamoto] well rintaro-kun, i am very glad that you’re willing to be better.
[suna rintaro] thank you. i needed that.
[dr. natamoto] anytime. now, why do you think you keep hurting her?
[suna rintaro] like i said, it’s ‘cause i’m a heartless asshole.
[dr. natamoto] what makes you think this way?
[suna rintaro] because all i do is hurt people.
[dr. natamoto] if you were heartless like you claim to be, you wouldn’t be seeking help to better yourself for you and your family. you’re far from heartless.
[suna rintaro] ... i guess you’re right.
[dr. natamoto] okay, (opens ipad) what do you see in this picture?
[suna rintaro] a baby.
[dr. natamoto] correct. now, what is the first thing you think about when you hear the word “baby”?
[suna rintaro] if i’m being honest? kimi.
[dr. natamoto] (laughs) makes sense. did you have any negative thoughts when you saw this picture?
[suna rintaro] no… not really.
[dr. natamoto] okay.. how come?
[suna rintaro] … what?
[dr. natamoto] how come you didn’t experience any negative thoughts when you viewed this picture?
[suna rintaro] … i don't know?
[dr. natamoto] so if i told you that i wanted to hurt this baby, how would that make you feel?
[suna rintaro] the hell?
[suna rintaro] concerned for you.. i guess. but why would you want to hurt a baby? Only a heartless asshole would do that.
[suna rintaro] … oh.
[dr. natamoto] exactly!
[suna rintaro] what’s the point?
[dr. natamoto] (shuffles through notes) you said “all i do is hurt people” a few minutes ago, but that isn’t the case rintaro-kun.
[suna rintaro] …
[dr. natamoto] i think that you claim to “hurt people” because you’re afraid of opening up, especially to y/n; you’re afraid to show vulnerability.
[dr. natamoto] when you said you lashed out on her when she was concerned about your behaviour. Is it maybe because you’re afraid that she’ll judge you for this?
[suna rintaro] no, she would never judge me. i know her.
[dr. natamoto] i thought you’d say that. so from everything i’ve heard, the only other reason i can think of is that you’re afraid of y/n and kimi getting attached to you, because you’re afraid that you’ll hurt her— them, again. am i correct?
[suna rintaro] ...
[suna rintaro] fuck. uh, yeah, you’re right. Shit.
[dr. natamoto] why is it that you don’t want them to get close to you?
[suna rintaro] .. they.. deserve better. i can’t give them both the happiness they deserve.
[dr. natamoto] and why exactly is that?
[suna rintaro] why is what?
[dr. natamoto] why do you think you can’t give them the happiness they deserve?
[suna rintaro] because everytime i’ve came back into y/n’s life, it was always me that screwed shit up. She’s been generous enough to forgive me everytime. i don't deserve all the chances she’s given me.
[dr. natamoto] rintaro-kun, do you want to hear my input on this situation?
[suna rintaro] well, obviously, you’re the therapist.
[dr.natamoto] here’s what i want you to do; i want you to talk to y/n, even if she “hates” you, which i’m pretty sure she doesn’t.
[suna rintaro] how do you know she doesn’t hate me?
[dr. natamoto] she wouldn’t be giving you so many chances. Don’t you think, rintaro-kun?
[dr. natamoto] i think the reason she keeps giving you chances is because she wants you to know that she’s hoping you’ll change for your good. she’s willing to stick with you through your ups and downs. and i don’t want to speak for her, but it seems like she’s in love with you.
[dr natamoto] may i ask, what exactly did you say to her the last time you’ve seen each other?
[suna rintaro] i… i told her to stop worrying about me.. and told her i wanted her out my life.
[dr. natamoto] did you mean that?
[suna rintaro] of course not. i’m a mess without her. i don't know why i said that.
[dr. natamoto] what caused you to say this to her in the first place?
[suna rintaro] i don't know, i guess i was already having a rough day and i wanted to be alone but she wouldn’t—she kept asking me what was bothering me. I’m a dick.
[dr. natamoto] it’s completely okay to want some alone time. Instead of lashing out, you can use a method called “I sentences”. It’s basically when you express the way you’re feeling, using “I” to start the conversation. for example, “I feel”. after you express how you’re feeling, follow it up with “I would like it if you’d please…” Try it.
[suna rintaro] okay…
[suna rintaro] i feel irritated right now and i don’t want to put it out on you. im grateful that you care for me so much, but I would just like it if you’d please give me some time alone for a while.
[dr. natamoto] perfect! since we’re running out of time, i want you to write down all the things you’re grateful for at the end of each day, just to end the night on a positive note. after doing this for a week, i want you to talk to y/n. If the conversation gets too heated, try to slow yourself down by using the “I” sentences. I know it may sound inconvenient at first, but trust me, they work. i want to see you in the next two weeks is that fine?
[suna rintaro] right, thanks doc.
[dr. natamoto] anytime! Have a wonderful day, rintaro-kun.

Harry made love to you, quickly, before Andy got home. You both were just getting yourselves cleaned up when you heard the front door open and close.
“Hello?! I thought you guys were going to the pub.” Andy says and you both hustle out of the bedroom. “Did you say yes?”
“I said yes!”
Andy beams at the two of you and rushes over to give you both a hug.
“Congratulations!”
“Thanks, buddy, thought we all could go out and celebrate together.” Harry says. “Wanna go wash up?”
“Yeah!”
The three of you all go to the Thai place for dinner, and then head home to enjoy the ice cream cake. You were beyond excited, and you promised yourself you’d call everyone tomorrow to give them the good news.
“When are you gonna tell Mum?” Andy asks Harry with a mouth full of cake.
“Um, m’not sure yet. I’d like to tell my own mum first.” Harry chuckles. “I’ll have to FaceTime her when I first get up tomorrow.”
“I’m sure we’ll tell your mom soon, Andy.” You smile at him.
“What kind of wedding do you wanan have?”
“Small.” You and Harry say at the same time.
“Just close friends and immediate family.” Harry says.
“I thought girls liked big weddings, though?”
“Not all girls.” You laugh. “I think it’s more special when it’s intimate. When you have giant weddings you care more about making everyone coming happy when the days is supposed to be about you and your partner.”
“What did Phil and Julian do?” Andy asks.
“Oh, they’re not married. They’re in a civil union. They were rings, but they’re not married.”
“Why not?”
“I don’t know.” You shrug. “It just wasn’t something they wanted to do. Not everyone needs to get married. I think it depends on your values and stuff. Your dad and I both really like the idea of marriage, so we’re getting married.” You smile.
Andy nods and continues on with his cake. Later on, after Andy goes to bed, you and Harry find yourselves having a little make out session in bed. You were straddling him, and he had his arms wrapped around you.
“Can I ask you something?” You breathe.
“Yeah.”
“I love the ring, I really do, but…” You bite your bottom lip.
“But what?”
“I just wasn’t expecting it to be so big.”
“That’s what she said.” He bursts out laughing and you roll your eyes with a sigh. “Sorry, I had to.” He strokes your cheek. “I figured that since we won’t be spending a lot on a big weeding that I could go a little extra on the ring.” He pecks your now swollen lips. “I thought you deserved a nice, big rock to go along with my nice, big co-“
“If you finish that sentence I swear to god I will pack up and leave.” Harry laughs and grins at you. “You’re in a goofy mood tonight.” You run a hand through his hair.
“I’m giddy, babe.” He kisses you again. “I’ve never had a fiancé before.”
“Hmm, me neither.” You smirk.
“Look at us, having a real first together.” He boops your nose and you can’t help but giggle. “I love you so much.”
“I love you too.”
You lean back in and lightly bite down on his bottom lip. You suck on it before licking into his mouth. He squeezes your hips before sliding his hands to your ass. One of his hands traces around your stomach and inside your leggings. He tugs on the band of your panties and slips his hand inside there as well. You grunt against his lips, but let him continue. His fingers slide between your folds, and you tug at his hair.
“Sure you’re not too tired for this? You’ve had a long day…” He says as he looks up at you, still feeling around.
“Yes.” You groan. “Then when we’re done I’ll be about ready to pass out.”
“Okay.” He cranes his neck to kiss you, and he slides two fingers inside you.
You gasp into his mouth from the feeling. He drags his fingers in and out of you slowly and rub his thumb over your clit. You rock your hips back and forth at the same pace as his fingers. You grip at his shoulders as it becomes more intense.
“Put one of your hands back in my hair, babe.” He grunts. You were soaking his fingers and he was trying to not lose it in his pants.
You do as he says and get a good grip on his locks and he moans softly. You press your lips back to his, not wanting to be too loud, and continue to ride his fingers. He curls them up and pets them against your front wall and you gasp again. You continue to moan into each other’s mouths as you get closer to your breaking point. The hand you have on his shoulder slides down his torso, and you tug on his jeans.
“No, it’s okay.” He tells you. “This is just about you, Y/N.”
“But it’s gonna hurt if I don’t.” You whimper.
“It’s fine, baby, just wanna get you off.”
He bites your bottom lip and your eyes roll into the back of your head. You come around his fingers and ride out the shocks. He slowly removes his hand from you and he sucks his fingers into his mouth as you catch your breath.
“Harry, are you sure you don’t want me to-“
“No, sweetheart.” He pecks your lips. “You were gone for so long, just missed you.”
You kiss him again and get off of him to go clean yourself up. Truth be told, even if Harry had let you rub and tug at him, he wasn’t sure if he’d be able to come. He was fine earlier, but the conversation during cake was distracting him. How was he going to tell Paige has engaged, and more importantly, how was he going to tell her she wasn’t invited?
//
Harry had sworn Andy to secrecy. He explained he wanted Paige to find out from him. Anne and Gemma were overjoyed with the news, as were your family and friends. You sent them all pictures. You even had Andy take a few pictures of you and Harry together in the backyard as a makeshift engagement shoot, it was fun. Andy blew bubbles to add some aesthetically pleasing effects.
“I swear if he doesn’t go to a college for art, it would be a damn shame.” You say as you look through the pictures. “Might post this one on my insta.” You show Harry a photo of you and him, he was holding you from behind and you both had big smiles on your face.
“Whatever you want, babe.” He kisses your cheek.
“So, there’s something I wanna run by you…” Andy was over at Caroline’s today so it was the perfect time to chat about wedding stuff. You were outside with him as he was gardening.
You enjoyed sitting in a chair while he would tend to the flowers. He always looked so cute with his bucket hat and tools.
“What’s up?” He says, turning to look at you. He takes his hat off and wipes some sweat from his forehead.
“How long do you wanna wait to actually get married? I mean…there’s not rush, but I don’t know if I wanna wait that long.” You look down at your lap and twiddle your thumbs. “I’m one-hundred percent sure about us…”
“So am I.” He scoots over to sit in front of you and he takes your hands in his. “Wouldn’t have proposed if I wasn’t. I just figured we’d be engaged for a while so we weren’t planning while you were working. This is a big year for you.”
“I know…but planning a wedding could be a good distraction for me. It’s like you’re always saying, I probably don’t have a great work-life balance. I could carve out time to work on both.”
“Alright, when are you thinking, then? This spring?”
“I was actually sort of thinking later this fall.” You mumble and look at him. His eyes widen and his mouth suddenly feels dry. “Like beginning of November? I was thinking maybe we could have a really small ceremony at the Boston Commons, and then Julian mentioned on the phone he could get us a deal at the hotel. It would be perfect for your family and whatever friends you’d want to have fly in. He said we could use one of the smaller function rooms for the reception. It’s still warm enough in Boston in November to be able to do something outside too.”
“Would…would just a couple of months be enough time for you to get an outfit together. I know you said you weren’t sure if you wanted to wear a dress, but fittings take time regardless.”
“Honestly, I was thinking of just taking a trip down to Macy’s with Nora and looking at some stuff there. I might wear a dress, but if I see a pantsuit I like I may go for that. I’ll wear white still, I think, I don’t really like the blushes or the peaches…” You try to read his face, which could be very difficult sometimes. “Are you having an internal freak out? Is this all too soon for you?”
“No, not at all…um, people just might think you’re, uh, pregnant since we’re rushing a little.” He swallows. “You’re not pregnant, are you?”
“What? No, I would tell you if I was, babe.” He nods at that. “I just, I mean, it’s nice to be your fiancé, I just can’t wait to be your wife, that’s all.”
His features completely soften. He felt like a puddle of mush. He was so fucking in love with you, and that love, for the first time in his life, was actually being reciprocated. Truth be told, he’d take you right to the courthouse now if he could. He definitely didn’t want a long engagement, he just didn’t want to add to your stress. He stands up and cups your cheeks and presses his lips to yours in a tender kiss.
“Come on, let’s go inside.”
“But you’re gardening.”
“I’ll get back to it in a minute. Let’s go grab my planner and see what weekend could work best in November.”
“You’re serious?!” You nearly squeal as you stand up.
“Yeah.” He smiles. “I wanna be your husband as soon as possible too.”
You wrap your arms around Harry’s neck, and he hugs you back briefly before you go inside. He grabs his planner from up in the loft and you both go into the kitchen to sit at the table to look at it.
“Here.” He taps on a date. “November 6th…”
“Oh, and it’s a Saturday, that’d be perfect, baby.”
“You really wanna get this all together by then? It’s gonna be a lot.”
“Julian’s got my back with the hotel, and Phil said his restaurant could cater the buffet. We’ll save a ton of money. Also, Mark’s part-time job is a DJ, so music is covered too. We just need to get your family here, essentially.”
“What about a honeymoon? Do you wanna take a trip or something?”
“Andy usually goes to Paige’s for Thanksgiving, right?”
“Yeah.”
“So what if we just take that entire week off? We could go somewhere warm if you wanted…or, I mean…I’m sure I’ll be spending the holidays in London with you, we could go on a trip then?”
“No, that’s a family thing, and yeah, you’re definitely coming.” He ponders for a moment. “I think a trip during Thanksgiving week could be fun, actually. You won’t miss your family?”
“I mean, I will, but we’ll see them at the wedding.” You shrug. “I’d much rather take a little vacation with you.”
“Where would wanna go?”
“On a gigantic level if money was no object? I’ve always wanted to go to Greece, but I know that would be tough to swing, especially on such short notice…”
“Hmm.” He puckers his lips in thought. “Yeah, that’s something we should really plan out…maybe we could save that trip for another special time.” You nod at him. “Somewhere warm…oh! What about Florida? That’s a perfect time of year to go, and hurricane season will be over. We could go to Miami or something.”
“I’ve never been to Miami! That would be a lot of fun, there’s so much to do there.”
“Alright, it’s settled then.” He slaps his hand down on his planner playfully. “We’ll get married in on the 6th, and then we’ll go on our honeymoon during Thanksgiving. I’m a master at planning flights, so let me take care of that, yeah? If Phil could get us a menu or something I’d like to do a tasting…”
“Agreed.” You were smiling ear to ear. “Oh my god, we just set a date!” You squeal and throw your arms around him. “I love you.” You kiss him. “I love you so much.” You kiss him again.
“I love you too, baby.” He kisses you. “Now, let me go back to tending to my flowers, I’ll be pissed if my roses get fucked up.”
He gets up and you can’t help but giggle at him.
//
It was time for the annual back to school shopping trip. You stayed back since it was a tradition for Andy to go with just his parents. You didn’t mind. Andy not only needed new school supplies, but he needed some new clothes as well. He had grown another few inches over the summer. His doctor thinks he’s going to be about six feet by the time he’s a sophomore in high school. Harry and Paige decide to meet up at Old Navy for the shopping spree.
“Okay, Mum and I are going to hang by the changing rooms. You can go around the store on your own, look for sales, and then you will try on the clothes for us.” Harry says firmly.
“Fine, but no coming into the room with me.” Andy mutters. “It’s embarrassing.” His voice cracks slightly and then he clears his throat.
“So you want me to tug on your jeans out in the open? Alright.” Paige shrugs.
Andy makes an exasperated noise and walks away, making Harry and Paige laugh. The two make their way to go sit at the chairs outside the changing rooms.
“I’m surprised you’re not looking around yourself.” Harry says to her.
“I have plenty of clothes.” She chuckles.
“Listen, uh, while he’s busy looking at clothes, there’s something I’ve been meaning to tell you.” He takes out his phone and shows Paige his lock screen, which was now a picture of you two kissing, and you were cupping Harry’s cheek with your left hand to showcase the ring. Andy had given you about two seconds to stage the photo.
“Um…why are you showing me a picture of you two kissing?”
“Look closer, at her hand.” He sighs.
Paige squints and then gasps, putting a hand over her mouth.
“Oh! You…you proposed to her already? That’s great! Congratulations.” She moves to hug him, but he shakes his head no.
“We’re in public.” He mumbles. “Anyways, yeah, we’re engaged now.”
“That’s incredible, I’m really happy for you.” She gives him a sincere smile. “Andy knows?”
“Yeah.”
“When did you do it?”
“A week or so ago.”
“And you’re just telling me now?”
“No offense, but you weren’t exactly top of my list of people to tell immediately. I was waiting until I saw you for this. We’ve been busy figuring things out. What Andy doesn’t know is that we’ve set a date already. We plan to tell him later. We wanted to make sure everything could happen where we want it before we started telling people.”
“Holy shit, you already set a date?” She puffs out some air from her lips. “Well, that’s great. When is it? I’ll put it in my phone now.”
“You don’t need to do that.” He puts his hand over hers to stop her from taking her phone out. “We’re keeping it really small.”
“So?”
“So…immediate family and close friends only at the ceremony and then a few extra friends at the ceremony.” She gives him a confused look. “You…you’re not invited.”
Before she has a chance to react Andy comes over holding a pile of clothes.
“Do I need to try every little thing on? Or is one outfit okay?”
“One, um, one outfit’s fine.” Paige says. “Go on.”
“Mum, are you okay, you look pale?”
“The, uh, leather from the shoe section is wafting over here and it’s giving me a headache. I’m fine, baby, go try your things on.” They watch Andy go into the dressing room, and she turns to look at Harry. “Alright, run that by me again.”
“You heard me the first time.” He says quietly. “You may have wanted me at yours, but I don’t want you at mine. Do you know how embarrassing it was to be put at the old college buddy table?”
“I thought you’d feel more comfortable there! Where did you want me to put you?”
“How about with my son?!”
“Okay.” Andy says coming out in a tee shirt and jeans. “Tug away if you must. They fit really well, though.” Paige huffs and stands up to check out the clothes. She tugs on the waist of Andy’s jeans and nods. “Can we go to the shoe store after? I was thinking I could get some boots for fall.”
“What kind of boots?” Paige asks. “You have two sets of snow boots, and rain boots already.”
“Like…like the boots Dad wears.”
“I can order you some online, I get them from a shop in London.” Harry says. “I like this outfit on you, go ahead and change and then we can check out.”
“I don’t know why you thought now would be a good time to bring this up to me.” She says. “You’re really hurting my feelings, Har.” She says quietly as Andy goes to change.
“I knew I’d be seeing you.” He shrugs. “I…I can’t keep doing this with you.”
“Doing what?”
“Pretending like we’re best friends who hooked up once and accidentally got pregnant. We were in a relationship for two years, and then you decided to walk away. Fine. We see each other and do this co-parenting for Andy. I feel like I leaned on you for a long time because you were around, but I have someone else in my life now to fill the hole you created.” He runs a hand through his hair and blinks a couple of tears away. “You have no idea how hard it was to sit there and watch you walk down an aisle that didn’t lead towards me.”
“Harry, I-“
“Okay, all set.” Andy says. “Are you okay?”
“Yeah, it’s my allergies, let’s go checkout.”
“Can we get lunch before we go to Staples?” He asks, and Harry and Paige look at each other.
“I don’t have time for that, honey.” Paige says. “Um, are you starving? I could get you a pretzel for a snack?”
“Okay.” Andy shrugs.
Paige and Harry split the payment for the clothes. Andy carries his bags out of the store, and Paige pulls Harry to walk next to her, behind Andy.
“This conversation isn’t over.” She says quietly to him. “Clearly you’ve been keeping some things buried and we need to hash it out.”
“Fine, but I’m not changing my mind about the wedding.”
The rest of the afternoon Harry and Paige said about two words together. She hugs Andy goodbye before she gets into her own car. Andy climbs into the back seat of the car.
“Hey, Dad?”
“Yeah?”
“When can I start sitting in the front seat?”
“Hm, I don’t know, they change the safety ages all the time. When you’re thirteen I think? I can check when we get home.”
“Okay.” Andy picks at his bottom lip, a habit he picked up from Harry. “Is everything okay between you and Mum?”
“Never better, why?”
“Things just seemed weird with you both today.” Harry sighs at that. He’s not sure how honest he should be with Andy about all this.
“I told her about my engagement, and she was really happy for Y/N and I…but then I told her we set a date.”
“You did?! When?!”
“A couple of days ago, please act surprised, Y/N and I wanted to tell you together.”
“Okay.”
“So, Mum wanted to know when the date was, and I told her she didn’t need to worry about it because…I wouldn’t be inviting her.”
“But she invited you to hers, how does that make sense?”
“Andy.” Harry sighs again. “I only went to hers because of you. I wanted to see you all dolled up and walk her down the aisle. I also knew she just needed a little extra support because of Gramp not physically being there.”
“I’m…really confused…I thought you were, like, friends.”
“I know, it doesn’t make a lot of sense. Mum and I are friends, but sometimes she acts like we’re best friends, and it makes things difficult for me. I think she forgets that she…that she broke my heart, and that since it’s been so long it shouldn’t matter anymore, and I should just be over it, and I am, in a way, but I don’t like getting too comfortable with her.” Harry pulls into the garage and turns the car off. He turns to look at Andy. “I know you don’t know the full story, and you don’t really need to. Mum and I are okay, you don’t have anything to worry about, alright?” Andy nods at him. “Good, now, let’s go inside, Y/N will want to see all your new things.”
Andy acted as surprised and excited as he could when you and Harry told him about the date for the wedding. He was shocked that it was happening so soon, but happy for the both of you. He was excited to be a part of another wedding since his mother’s ended up being so much fun.
“Will I be allowed to bring friends?” Andy asks.
“You can bring one friend.” Harry says. “That’ll be fun, a little sleepover in a hotel.”
“Yeah! Wait, the Ariana Grande concert is in November…”
“No worries, Andy, it won’t conflict with anything.” Your assure him.
“Okay good.” He sighs with relief. “Caroline’s coming with me to that, so I guess I’ll invite Brandon to the wedding.”
“We’ll make sure to put you both in a suite with Grammy and Auntie Gem. You, Brandon, Ritchie, and Lizzie can all have your own party.”
“Cool.” Andy smiles. “I’m really happy for the both of you.” He gives you both a hug, and then goes into his room to put his things away.
“Well, he’s certainly handling things better than when Paige got engaged.”
“I think this is different with him. He had her to himself his whole life, and then all of a sudden he didn’t. I’d probably be resentful too, but he said he had a really great summer with Noah and Rachel, and that’s all that matters to me.” He looks back towards Andy’s room. “Can we go chat up in the loft?”
“Yeah.” You follow Harry upstairs.
“Just wanted some privacy, um, I told Paige we were engaged today.”
“Oh! How did she take it?”
“Good…at first.”
“What happened?”
“I told her we had set a date already, and she wanted to know what it was, and I told her it didn’t matter because she wasn’t invited.”
“And you thought a good time to have that conversation was while you were clothes shopping with your son?” You ask flatly.
“Everyone’s always telling me to rip the band aid, so I did.” He huffs. “We’re meeting tomorrow to talk more, she’s not happy with me right now, I sort of started to tell her off, but she just wasn’t understanding.”
“What else is there to talk about?”
“She seems to think we need to hash some things out, or whatever.”
“Well, there’s clearly some unresolved shit buried between the two of you. Where are you going to meet her?”
“For coffee in the morning…are you alright with that?”
“Yeah, I can hang out one on one with Andy for a bit. We can watch TV and eat pancakes.” You smile.
“You’re amazing, you know that?” He takes your hands in his. “I hate that I even have to deal with this bullshit.”
“Harry…” You nuzzle your nose to his. “It’s okay.” He pecks your lips and sighs.
“Thank you for always being so cool about all this. I don’t know I’d do if you were a classic psycho.” He laughs.
“Oh, I’m plenty psycho, just not about stuff like this.” You smirk and kiss his cheek as he laughs more. “This isn’t something I have much control over, you know? It is what it is.”
//
Harry wasn’t really looking forward to coffee with Paige, but he gets up and goes like he said he would. She was there waiting for him already, sipping on a piping cup of tea. He sees that there’s a second cup on the table already.
“Hi.” He says.
“Hey.” She says. “I got yours…black coffee.”
“Thanks.” He sighs and sits down.
“Okay.” She sighs. “I don’t want this turning into something heated, I think we can both have a mature discussion, we’re adults.”
“Right.”
“What you said to me yesterday, I…I didn’t realize you were still harboring those kinds of feelings. It’s been so long, Harry, I thought you were over all of it.”
“I am.” He says as he sips his coffee. “But I can’t help it when memories come back and I’m reminded that I wasn’t good enough to be the one to put on a wedding for.”
“We would have just gotten divorced, and you know it.”
“Did you ever even love me?”
“Of course I did! I just thought it was puppy love, infatuation…lust.” She chews her inner cheek. “I didn’t think I’d be spending the rest of my life with you, I was twenty-one years old! I still wanted my life to be my own. We had an accident, a happy one, and I don’t regret a thing, I love Andy with every fiber of my being, and I’m happy you’re his father.” She looks away and then back at Harry. “We wanted different things, Har.”
“No, we didn’t.”
“You wanted to get married and have more kids, did you not?”
“Yeah.”
“Well, I didn’t.” She says bluntly. “I certainly didn’t want to have more kids.” She scoffs.
“But you’re such a good mum!”
“It’s my choice! I never wanted to have kids!” Harry’s eyes widen at that.
“Then why did you?”
“Because…because when I looked at all of my options, I just couldn’t…I don’t know, I looked at it as fate or something, like I was meant to have Andy or something. It was a perfect storm, Har, the condom broke, and it never had before, and I gotten off the pill. I was supposed to be Andy’s mom, and that was plenty. You deserve to be with someone who wants the same things as you. Part of why I ended up with Noah is because I knew he didn’t want more kids either. I also like that he’s older, but that’s a whole mixed bag that I won’t get into.”
“Right, because I’ll always be the immature punk?”
“You’re a fucking year younger than me, get over yourself.” She rolls her eyes. “You really don’t want me at your wedding?”
“No.” He sips his coffee. “The last thing I want to think about that day is you. It was nice of you to invite me to yours, and because of Andy and Y/N I went. If I didn’t have her I honestly don’t think I would’ve gone. I’m sick of carrying around all of this baggage, Paige. I’ve known you for fifteen years, or at least close to it, and I feel lucky that we don’t fucking hate each other, but we need to distance ourselves more.”
“How do you want to do that?”
“No more family vacations.” She frowns at that. “You can use the cabin whenever you want, I don’t care about that, but Andy’s not a baby anymore, we don’t need to do every little thing together like we were doing. Unless it’s his birthday or a holiday, we don’t need to do something as all of us together. I feel like we lean on each other for things more often than we should because we were such good friends at one point, but you have a husband now…you don’t need me.” He swallows. “And I don’t need you.”
“I see.”
“Do you? I feel like you live in a fantasy world sometimes, and I enable it to not make waves. You never ask if something is awkward for me, or-“
“So if we have a party or something on the boat for Labor Day, you wouldn’t come to something like that?”
“I don’t know.” He shrugs. “I’d have to ask my fiancé about how she would feel.”
“I just think it’s important to make memories with Andy with the two of us so he has that when he’s older.”
“And I agree with you. I’d like to continue doing our annual back to school shopping spree, and similar traditions. I think we’re really good co-parents, Paige, but that’s where it needs to end with us.” She blinks some tears away and then she chuckles.
“Feels like you’re breaking up with me. Must feel good.” She smirks.
“It does, in fact.” He smirks back at her. “You do understand where I’m coming from, though, right?”
“Yeah, I do.” She sighs. “I’m so sorry if I’ve been making things difficult for so long. I felt like because I left I needed to make sure you were okay, and that’s why I made sure to keep you so involved with everything. I wanted you to feel like family since yours is so far away.”
“And I appreciate that! Really, I do. I think for a while that worked for us, and maybe I was sort of relying on it because I was so focused on work, and I wasn’t really meeting people I wanted to date for long periods of time, but Y/N…she’s changed everything for me.” He takes a deep breath. “For so long I felt like I was never going to fall in love again, and that I somehow fucked up and missed my chance at having the love of my life, but I don’t believe that anymore. She’s the absolute love of my life, Paige.”
“I’ve never wanted anything more for you, Harry, please know that. I never wanted to hurt you, and I know it hurt like hell when I ended it. I knew things would work out for you eventually. I’ve loved seeing you so happy. You’ve got a pep to your step again.” She smiles. “Just like you used to.”
“So, we’re on the same page then…about us sticking to more boundaries?”
“Yeah.” She nods. “I think it’s for the best all around.” She sips her tea. “Will you at least send me pictures? I wanna see what Andy’s going to wear and all that. Oh!” She goes into her bag. “I don’t know if you want these, but I have some photos from the wedding. Ones with all of us, our friends, and a cute picture of you, Y/N, and Andy.” She takes out a baggie of pictures for Harry.
“Thank you, I do want these, actually. And I’ll make sure we send you pictures.” He smiles.
“Okay.” She smiles back. “Well, I’m glad we could just get it all out there and clear the air a bit.”
“I’m sorry I brought it all up while we were shopping with him, it wasn’t great timing.”
“It’s alright, I would have probably done the same thing if I were in your shoes.”
“While I have you…Andy asked me when he could start sitting in the front…”
“He did?!”
“Yeah, I told him I’d look it up. It’s thirteen, right?”
“I have no clue, those safety regulations change all the time. I’d say thirteen is good.”
“He’s gonna be so annoyed.” Harry chuckles.
“Just wait for him to bring it up again, and then tell him we said thirteen.” She crosses her arms. “And if he pulls some bullshit with you like he did with phone, you just send him to me and I’ll straighten his ass out.” She smirks.
“We’re excellent parents.”
//
With everything officially smoothed over with Paige, it was easy living for Harry. He was proud of himself for finally just laying it all out there. It made him much more chipper during syllabus week. It took your classes about two minutes into your lectures to realize the rock on your finger was an engagement ring, and many of your students squealed and congratulated you. Many that came by to see Harry congratulated him as well.
“Hey.” You say as you slip into his office, closing the door behind you and leaning against it. “Got a second?”
“Course, darling, what’s up?”
“Are we inviting our colleagues?” You whisper.
“To what?” You roll your eyes at him. “Ohhhh, our wedding.” He smirks.
“You’re not funny.”
“And yet, here we are, engaged.” He grins.
“Not for long.” You cross your arms.
“Alright, alright, don’t get your knickers in a twist. Would you like to invite them?”
“I mean…maybe to the reception? I really do want to keep the ceremony small.”
“I think we should invite them to the reception, yeah. They’ve been a part of our love story since the beginning, babe.”
“Especially Janette.” Harry nods at you. “Okay, so it seems like we’ll need to order some very specific invitations.” You chew your bottom lip.
“Y/N.” He hums. “This is supposed to be fun, remember?”
“It is!”
“You’re getting stressed.”
“I’m not!” He gives you an unconvinced look. “It’s the good kind of stress. The more we do, the more we get to check off, and then there’s no stress. I’m going shopping with Nora in a couple of weeks, I can’t wait.”
“Are you going to have a bach-“ There’s a knock on his door, and you open it.
“Oh…sorry to interrupt.” Andre blushes.
“You’re not!” You say. “We were just discussing, um, something not work related, I’ll just go.” You slip out.
“She can be a bit squirrelly sometimes.” Andre chuckles and Harry hums his response.
“What’s up?”
“Got an overload request from one of my students, and you’re his advisor so I need your signature.”
“Ah.” Harry waves him over and he signs the form. “They should really make these paperless so it’s les work.”
“I know, an email could easily suffice, thanks.”
Harry gets up and goes into your office, he closes the door and sits down in one of your chairs.
“Yes?” You chuckle.
“Has your hand been hurting at the end of the day?”
“No, why would it?”
“Well, it’s got so much extra weight on it now, I wanted to make sure.” He smirks, and you sigh heavily as you look at him. “Anyways, I was going to ask you if you plan to have a bachelorette party.”
“Oh, of course I do. Nora’s gonna plan the whole thing. We were thinking over Indigenous People’s Day weekend since most people will have that Monday off, do a long weekend type thing.”
“What do you think you’ll do?”
“Bar hop most likely.” You shrug. “Dance, drink, that sort of stuff. Are you going to have a bachelor party?”
“I don’t know who I’d have it with…” He twiddles his thumbs. “My two best mates live overseas, and I don’t want to ask them to fly twice, that would be insane.”
“So have them fly in a few days early and do something fun with them then. Our parties don’t need to be on the same day, you know? I’m sure we’ll be having lots of little parties between now and then.”
“True, Lucas sent us two different calendar invites.” He chuckles as he stands up. “Just promise me something?”
“Anything.”
“No strippers.” You burst out laughing at that. “Or exotic dancers.”
“What century are you living in?!” You wipe a tear away. “Harry, the only man I want giving me a lap dance is you, okay?” He nods as you bite your bottom lip.
“What?”
“Would you ever give me one? Do a little strip tease?”
“Maybe on our honeymoon.” He turns to walk towards your door, and then he looks at you over his shoulder. “And only if you’re a good girl.”
A chill goes up your spine as he leaves your office.
“What a fucking menace.” You say to yourself as you try to shake his words off.
//
Seventh grade was off to an interesting start. Harry annoyed Andy by taking first day of school pictures before he dropped him off. It was a new hallway and a new locker to get used to. Mostly everyone he had homeroom with the year prior was in his homeroom again. He noticed that some people had gotten taller, some voices had gotten deeper, some people’s skin had started to break out, and some of the girls looked…fuller. Andy hadn’t really noticed the changes amongst himself or his friends. Caroline was still as sweet as ever, but she did tell him in confidence that she started getting her period, so if sometimes she got snappy with him that may be why. Andy knew he had gotten a little taller, and he knew his voice was starting to crack, but he was thankful nothing else had really seemed to change.
He walks into his new homeroom, and sits down. Every year it was the same thing. The teacher would ask everyone their named, they’d give out locker information, and then the school handbook. Brandon comes in and sets next to Andy. This year Andy’s homeroom teacher was a science teacher, so it was all bench seating with two to a table.
“Hey.” Brandon yawns. “It’s crazy, every year I think I can get up early for school no problem, but here I am, running late.” He rolls his eyes.
“My dad makes me go to sleep and get up early at least a week before school starts. It’s annoying, but it helps.”
“It’ll only get worse, too.” Caroline says as she sits down with Tyler at the bench next to him. All of the tables were set up around the perimeter of the room. Andy was happy he’d be sitting next to his two best friends. “My sisters get up at 5:30 in the morning just to get ready for school.”
“Shit, why that early?” Brandon asks her.
“Shower, hair, makeup, and breakfast that my mom forces us to eat.”
“Luckily, we don’t have that problem.” Tyler says. “We can just roll out of bed.”
“Speak for yourself.” Andy scoffs. “I have to get up early to do my hair.” He runs a hand through it. Brandon smirks and ruffles Andy’s hair. “Quit it!” Andy giggles, and does the same to Brandon.
“You quit it.” Brandon giggles, and the two smile at each other.
After homeroom, it turns out Andy and Caroline have math together, and the teacher says they can sit where they like. They sit next to each other, and she smiles at him.
“What?”
“You know, you never told me what happened with you and Brandon after I left the wedding.”
“That’s because nothing happened.”
“So you didn’t dance with him?”
“No, we danced, but that was it…his dad called to tell him to be ready.”
“And nothing happened later on? I mean you both hang out all the time.”
“The timing just hasn’t been right.” Andy shrugs. “Playing basketball and skateboarding isn’t exactly romantic, Caroline…” He mutters.
“Sure it can! Remember when you were showing me? You had to put your hands on my hips and hold my hands.”
“That was so you wouldn’t fall!” He blushes. Andy remembers that day really well, and even though he asked Caroline first if he could touch her, he definitely enjoyed being able to show her a thing or two.
“Mhm, sure.” She smiles. “All I’m saying is, anything could be turned into a date.”
“Well…you know how my dad and Y/N are getting married in a couple of months?” She nods yes. “It’s gonna be in Boston, and I wanna invite him. They said I could have one friend come.”
“Oh, that’ll be great! I bet-“
“Alright, class, settle down. I’m hoping you all did your summer math work as we will be going over that after I take attendance. Welcome to pre-algebra.” The teacher says and everyone gets quiet. “Once we’re done with that, I’m going to give you all a pre-test to see what you remember.” The majority of the class groans. “I know, I know, a test on the first day, but it’s just for me to see how I can best help you.”
Andy takes his planner out and flips through a few months.
“What are you doing?” Caroline whispers.
“Counting down the days until art starts.” He side eyes her and she has to bite back a laugh.
After school, Brandon and Andy stand together as they wait for their rides. It was only a half day, but they were both exhausted.
“I’m really glad we have science and history together.” Brandon says to him.
“Me too. I have some classes with Caroline and Tyler too.”
“Same here. And there’s gym too for all of us at least.”
“I’m just glad we’ll still be able to call each other to do homework. I’d be really lost without you, B.”
Brandon smiles at Andy, and before Andy can say something else, he sees your car pull up. The boys say goodbye, and Andy climbs into the backseat.
“How was your first day?” You say to him.
“Okay.” He shrugs. “I think math is gonna be tough this year.”
“Well, lucky for you I’m pretty good at math, so don’t be afraid to ask me for help.”
“Thanks, Y/N. Is Dad teaching?”
“Yup, he’s in the middle of class. He’ll be able to get you tomorrow.” She grins. “I thought we could be a little adventurous and go to McDonald’s for lunch.”
“Dad doesn’t let me go there…”
“Well, you’re not with Dad, are you?”
“Can you even get anything there?”
“There’s a flurry and a large fry calling my name.”
“Y/N?”
“Yeah?”
“You’re the best.”
//
Harry comes back from his class to see Andy sitting in his office. He was munching on some apple slices.
“Hey, buddy, how was school?”
“Good.”
“Did you have anything for lunch, or do you need some money?”
“No, Y/N took me to get something to eat quick.”
“Yeah?” Harry smiles. “What did you have?”
“Um…well…I don’t wanna get her in trouble…” He swallows his last apple slice as Harry furrows his brows at him.
“What do you mean?”
“She took me to McDonalds.”
“Andy.” Harry sighs. “Why would you ask her to take you there when you know I don’t want you eating that stuff?”
“She asked me! I told her you didn’t really like it, but she said it would be fine. I didn’t even get fries! I got a happy meal with apple slices.”
“That burger is gonna sit like a rock in your stomach.”
“I got chicken nuggets.” He mumbles.
“Whatever.” Harry huffs and sits down. “Your classes went alright?”
“Yeah.”
“Good.”
Later that night as you were getting ready for bed, you could tell Harry was a little tense. You brush your teeth and look at him through the mirror.
“Any particular reason why you’re staring?” He asks as he spits the mouthwash he was swishing into the sink. He turns around to look at you.
“I’m just trying to read you. You’ve been sort of quiet today. Are you alright?”
Harry crosses his arms and looks at you intensely. You hated it when he looked at you like this. His features were hard, and he just looked intimidating.
“Why did you take Andy to McDonalds after he told you I don’t like him eating there?”
“Are you serious?” You laugh. “I just wanted to have a little fun with him.”
“By undermining me? Didn’t we have a chat about this, like, a long time ago when I did it to you? And that was by accident, you did this on purpose.”
“You act like my intention was malicious. What’s the big deal? We eat out all the time?”
“Yeah, we get pizza from the place downtown that uses locally sourced ingredients, or we get Thai food. Not fucking-“
“He got chicken nuggets and apple slices, it’s not like he pigged out.”
“Because he knows better.”
“You know, you never exactly told me he couldn’t eat there.”
“Well, he told you, and you went anyways.”
You had a couple of options here. You could easily argue with him. You could tell him how stupid it was to be upset over something like this, but if you did that you wouldn’t be validating his feelings. So, you swallow your pride.
“I’m sorry.”
“No you’re not.” He scoffs.
“Harry.”
“You’re only saying that because you don’t want me to be upset anymore.”
“You’ve been keeping this bottled up all day.” You sigh.
“Because I didn’t want to talk about it in front of him.” He looks away.
“Say it, Harry.”
“Say what?” He looks at you again.
“Tell me he’s your kid and not mine, and that I had no right to just change the rules.”
“Y/N.”
“It’s okay, that’s what you’re thinking, right? It’s not like that’s false. He’s your kid, and I’m his buddy. Maybe that’s all I’ll ever be to him, but someday you and I are gonna have a baby, and I’d like to treat that eventual kid once in a while with some fast food.”
“I guess we can cross that bridge when we come to it.” He plucks at his bottom lip. “You’re more than just a buddy to him, you have to know that. That’s not what I was trying to say, I just wished you had asked me first.”
“You were in class! I just, ugh, I had a craving for fries and ice cream, I really am sorry.”
“A craving, huh?”
“Don’t even go there. You never crave food?”
“Sure, I crave things all the time, doesn’t mean I always indulge.”
“I won’t take your son there again, okay?”
“Stop it.” He puts his hands on your shoulders. “He’s yours too. And maybe I should have told you I didn’t want me ingesting that crap.” You roll your eyes at that. “But I know he sees you as a mom.”
“I mean, one time he told me I’d make a good one, but-“
“He referred to you as ‘Mum’ once.”
“He did?! When?”
“When we went to Boston over April vacation, when I had to put him to bed…he said he was having fun with me and ‘Mum’…he was like half asleep, but still.”
“Maybe he just got me confused with Paige.”
“No, baby, he knew who he was talking about.” Harry hugs you, and cups your jaw. “He loves you and he knows you love him too, and I love knowing that you two are bonding. Take him to Sub Way next time, yeah?”
“Okay.” You smile and he kisses you. “I really am sorry, I didn’t think you’d be so upset.”
“It’s alright…we’re on the same page now, right?”
“Yeah.”
He nods and lets you go. You both get into bed and curl up with each other. You turn over to face him, and you nuzzle into his chest. He holds you close to him and strokes your back. He kisses your forehead and basically lulls you to sleep. Times like this you didn’t mind being babied at all.
//
“Look at that size of that thing!” Nora exclaims when she meets you at the mall in Manchester to go shopping. “Makes sense that he got you something so massive. Big dick, big ring.”
“Nora!” You squeal and nudge her. “Shh, come on, let’s go look at clothes.”
“Still thinking you might wanna do a suit?”
“Yeah, I feel like I’ll be the most comfortable in that. I feel like I’ll just look classy, you know?”
“You’ll look stunning.”
You both walk through Macy’s and look at all of the options. The pants were the easiest part. A high-waist pair of slacks would look gorgeous, it was finding the right top. You didn’t want to wear a body suit or a corset.
“Oh! What about this?” Nora says, waiving you over. “It’s lace, so it’ll add some texture.”
“It’s beautiful. I like the spaghetti straps. Let’s see if it works with the pants and blazer.”
“And the heels. You’re gonna be a show stopper.” You both giggle and go into the dressing room. You try everything on and step out. “It’s gorgeous, it’s so you in every way.”
“You think so?” You bite your bottom lip. “I think a bun and a veil will look great with it. I love it.”
“Harry really doesn’t care you won’t be in a dress?”
“Nah, I was actually thinking of changing into a short dress for the reception. Something simple.”
“Oh! I saw a cute short, white dress out there. Let me go grab it. It had a high neckline, but it was open in the back.”
“That sounds perfect!”
You buy everything, and have them put into nice dress bags. You and Nora decide to grab a bite to eat.
“So…can I ask you something?” Nora says to you.
“Of course.”
“Not that I’m not over the moon happy for you, but is there a reason you’re getting married so fast? I know you’ve known for a couple of years, and things are different at our age, but…you’re barely going to enjoy your engagement.”
“I’m enjoying it plenty, trust me. I just didn’t want to wait until after I got my doctorate, you know? I…I wanna start trying for a kid as soon as I get my degree, and I told him I didn’t care if we were married or not, but I think I do care. I wanna be married and have that extra security if I’m going to have a baby with someone. We love each other, why wait?”
“And he’s okay with all this?”
“Yeah! I think sometimes it’s tough for him to accept how much I wanna be with him because of his ex, but he’s coming around. He’s really excited. I mean, I am too. I’m finally going to meet his family in person, and his two best friends.”
“Maybe one of them will fall in love with me, and I’ll have my own British man to sweep me off my feet.”
“One of them’s Irish.”
“Mm, even better.”
You both laugh and continue eating before you part ways. Harry had taken Andy out for the day, so you were able to slip inside and hide your new things in the back of your closet.
//
“Dad, today was awesome!”
“Yeah, wasn’t too embarrassing going bowling with your old man?”
“No way, we haven’t gone in forever, it was fun. And I broke my high score on the pinball machine.” Andy was biting into a slice of pizza while Harry was sitting across from him smiling, resting his chin in his palm. “It’s kind of like when I used to just see you on the weekends.”
“Yeah, I really was your classic weekend dad, huh?” He chuckles.
“No, weekend dads let you eat candy until your teeth rot out and let you stay up really late. You still made me follow all of Mum’s rules.”
“Because I respect her, and she respects me.” Harry sits up straight. “Listen, there’s something I wanna ask you.”
“What’s up?” Andy wipes his mouth with a napkin and looks at Harry.
“Well…I was chatting with Uncle Niall and Uncle Louis the other day about the wedding. They’re itching to know who my best man is going to be.”
“That’s gotta be hard to choose between the two of them. You guys are like the three musketeers.”
“We are! But my choice is pretty easy because I don’t want it to be either of them. See, there’s this other man in my life I think would make a lot more sense to be my best man.”
“Really, who?” Harry grins at Andy and his eyes widen. “Me?!”
“Yes, you. No one else felt right.”
“So, will my suit be different that the others?”
“Of course.”
“Can I have my nails done the same as you?”
“You really want to?”
“Yeah…I wanna get into painting them more. I think it would be cool if we matched.”
“Definitely.”
“I’m really excited, Dad, thanks…this means a lot to me.”
“It means a lot to me that you wanna do it. You’re really becoming a nice young man, Andy.”
Andy gets up and hugs his dad. Today was a really good day. He can’t wait to tell you the good news when he gets in.
“Babe! We’re home!” Harry says as him and Andy get inside.
“Well, if it isn’t my two favorite guys.” You smile as you come down from the loft. You kiss Harry’s cheek and give Andy a hug.
“I take it the shopping went well?” Harry asks.
“Very well, so no snooping through my closet.” You say firmly.
“Wouldn’t dream of it.”
“Y/N, guess what?” Andy says.
“What?”
“I’m gonna be Dad’s best man.” He beams at you.
“That’s amazing!” You hug the both of them again. “It’s all coming together.”
//
“Andy, if you move, I’m gonna mess it up.” You tell him as you paint his nails black. He asks you to leave his pinkies purple.
“Sorry.” He watches you. “You don’t think I’m gonna get made fun of, do you?”
“Lots of guys are painting their nails nowadays. Just look at your dad, no one makes fun of him.”
“Yeah, but he’s big and strong, and could knock someone’s lights out.”
You swallow at that. It was true. Harry was a boxer, and if he really wanted to, he could beat the shit out of someone.
“You know violence isn’t the answer.”
“I know…I’m just not as intimidating as he can be.”
“You have his eyes, you just need to learn how to stare someone down the way he does and you’re golden.” You wink at him and he chuckles. “Are you really nervous about someone making fun of you?”
“I don’t know.” He shrugs. “Wearing a bandana or clipping back my hair is one thing, I just don’t wanna come off…girly.”
“I take offense to that. I’m a girl, what’s wrong with looking like me?”
“I guess nothing.”
“I’ll paint mine just like yours, would you like that?”
“Yeah, thanks, Y/N.”
You and Andy had gotten into the habit of nail time. Harry would sometimes join in, which was fun, but it was something the two of you could do together. It was a Sunday evening ritual. Andy’s friends loved the different combinations he would go with. Andy blushed when Brandon held his hand to look over a design you had managed to get on his thumb one day.
Then one day during locker break, Andy was switching some books out that he wouldn’t need for the afternoon. There weren’t a lot of people around.
“Hey, Styles.” A boy, Greg, and some other boys come over to him.
“Oh, hey, Greg.” Greg slams Andy’s locker shit. “Um, I wasn’t finished in there…” He goes to turn his combination but Greg grabs his hand. “You better not have this when basketball season starts back up.”
“What do you care?” Andy yanks his hand away. “Don’t like it, don’t paint your nails.”
Greg looks at his friends and laughs before shoving Andy up against the lockers.
“What are you, a girl now? Is Andy short for Andrea?” Greg smirks.
“Obviously not, you idiot.” Andy huffs. “Let me go, Greg.”
“Make me.” He shoves Andy harder against the lockers. Andy tries to give him his most intimidating gaze, but it’s not doing much for him. “You know what else makes you a girl? You like boys, Andrea.”
“Don’t call me that! And who even told you that?”
“It’s so obvious you have a thing for Brandon. You two are always all over each other.”
“What do you care?!”
“It’s annoying to watch.”
“Hey! Let him go!” Brandon comes racing down the hall and yanks Greg away from Andy. “What is the matter with you?!” He shoves Greg.
“Oh, look, your boyfriend came to your rescue, how nice.”
Before he has a chance to say or do anything, Andy watches as Brandon’s fist connects with Greg’s jaw, causing Greg to fall to the ground.
“Boys! What is going on out here?!” One of the teachers says as she rushes to the scene. “Principal’s office, now!”
Andy and Brandon look at each other, and then make their way down the hall. They sit on a bench outside the principal’s office to wait their turn. Greg had to be brought to the nurse.
“Why did you do that?” Andy whispers.
“He was being an asshole, obviously. Are you okay?”
“I’m fine…he was being really…homophobic…” He shakes his head. “I didn’t think people were still like that.”
“Well, they are, and it’s scary.”
“Maybe I should stop painting my nails.” Andy looks down at his hands.
“No!” Brandon puts his hand over one of Andy’s. “I really like it on you. You rock it. You’re, like, so cool.”
The boys are both called in to give their side of the story, and then Greg is brought it. When they all come out, Andy’s eyes widen when he sees everyone’s parents in the lobby. You, Harry, Paige, and Noah were all trying to keep cool as you chatted with Mr. and Mrs. Stewart. Greg’s father was keeping to himself.
“Andy!” Harry yelps and rushes over to him. “Are you alright?” He puts his hands on Andy to check him over.
“I’m fine, can you stop?”
“Honey, what happened? We got a call that you were in a fight.” Paige says.
“Excuse me.” Principal Morrison comes out of his office. “If all the adults would like to come in.” He sighs. You and Noah start to walk forward. “Just biological parents please.”
“Principal Morrison, that’s my step-dad, and my almost step-mom, they can both go in.” Andy says.
“Andy, it’s fine, we’ll wait out here with you.” You tell him.
Harry nods at you and goes into the office with the other parents.
“Right, well, it seems that Greg picked a fight with Andy, and Brandon stepped in when he saw what was happening. Greg said some hurtful things to Andy.” Principal Morrison explains.
“Like what?” Harry asks.
“Apparently he started calling him Andrea, and was making fun of his nail polish.”
“Well, there you go then.” Mr. Foley, Greg’s father, says.
“Excuse me?” Paige says.
“What’s a boy wearing nail polish for?”
“Um…” Harry holds up his hands. “It’s pretty common, mate.”
“It’s not like Brandon to be violent.” Mrs. Stewart says.
“He seemed to be defending Andy.” Principal Morrison says.
“It’s not common, actually, it’s odd.” Mr. Foley says. “Boys shouldn’t be painting their nails. I see how your boys are at basketball, it’s inappropriate.”
“They’re best friends.” Mr. Stewart says. “They’re close, there’s nothing wrong with that.”
“They seem a little too close if you ask me.” Mr. Foley scoffs.
“Well, none of that should be any of your concern.” Harry says. “What my concern is,” he steps forward, “is that you seem to be teaching your son it’s okay to bully other people for being a little outside the box, and it’s borderline homophobic.”
“Maybe don’t raise a homo then.” Mr. Foley says bluntly.
“Gentlemen, please.” Principal Morrison says.
“What the fuck did you just say?” Paige says, also stepping forward.
“I said, don’t raise a homo and my son won’t have a problem.”
“Right, that’s what I thought.” She smirks, and lunges at Mr. Foley. Harry hooks an arm around her waist to hold her back. “You piece of shit, you think you’re this big tough man, teaching such awful values to your kid? You’re a piece of shit, and your son is following suit!” She struggles in Harry’s arms. “How fucking dare you!”
“Paige, settle down.” Harry says and she takes a deep breath as he lets her go. “Clearly Greg instigated things. Andy wouldn’t pick a fight with anyone. He knows how to use his words if he has a problem with someone.”
“Didn’t learn that from his mum now did he?” Mr. Foley smirks.
“Fuck you.” Paige spits.
“What can we do, um, moving forward? Are the boys going to be suspended?” Mrs. Stewart asks.
“Greg will be given in house suspension for instigating, and putt his hands on Andy. Unfortunately, because Brandon did hot Greg, he will be suspended for the rest of the week, and when he returns we have to give him a week of in house suspension.”
“So, even though he was just defending his friend, he’s going to get punished more?” Mr. Stewart asks.
“That’s the policy.” Principal Morrison sighs.
“What about Andy? Who’s to say that little fuck won’t bother him again?” Harry says. “I won’t have my son being afraid to go to school.”
“Andy wasn’t fighting so he won’t have to face suspension. His teachers will be alerted, and an eye will be kept on him. We have a zero tolerance policy for this kind of thing.”
Harry and Paige look at Mr. Foley.
“Tell your son to stay away from ours.” Harry says.
“No problem there. Don’t need any of what Andy’s got going on rubbing off on Greg.” He scoffs. “Are we done here?” He says to Principal Morrison.
“Yes.”
All of the adults leave the room, and everyone waiting looks at them. Mr. Foley grabs Greg’s arm and pulls him out of the room entirely.
“Brandon.” Mr. Stewart sighs. “You’re being suspended for the rest of the week, and then you’re gonna have in house suspension.”
“What?!”
“I know it doesn’t seem fair.” Mrs. Stewart says. “We’re proud of you for standing up for Andy, but you really shouldn’t have hit that boy, okay?”
“I’m really sorry, Brandon.” Andy had tears in his eyes.
“Don’t be.” Brandon says to him. “I’d do it again.”
//
The car ride home was quiet. You and Harry had to cancel the rest of your classes for the day. Paige and Noah were coming back to the house. Everyone sits down at the table when they get inside your home.
“Andy, I’d like to hear the full story, if you feel comfortable.” Paige says, putting her hand over his.
“I was at my locker, minding my own business, when Greg came over and he started up with me. He slammed my locker door shut and shoved me up against it. I told him to stop and he wouldn’t. Then he asked me if I was a girl, and I called him an idiot, and then Brandon ran down the hall and pulled him off of me, and then….ugh, then he called Brandon my boyfriend and that’s when he hit him.” Everyone looks at Andy with sad eyes. “I’m not gonna stop painting my nails, I’m not changing anything. Greg can go fuck himself.” He huffs, and you crack up first laughing, and then everyone else has a chuckle.
“I’m so sorry that happened.” Harry says to him. “Kids your age can be so mean, and he seems to be getting a negative influence from his father.”
“I wanted to slug him.” Paige says. “What a prick.”
“I feel bad that Brandon’s being suspended.” Andy says.
“I know.” Harry sighs. “Something tells me Principal Morrison won’t be putting it on his permanent record, though.”
“Do you all mind if I go lay down? I’m a little tired.”
“Of course, honey.” Paige hugs him and kisses the top of his head.
They all watch as Andy stands up.
“Um…it was nice having all four of you there…thanks.”
“What exactly is going on between him and Brandon?” Paige asks quietly.
“Nothing.” You say. “He would have told me if anything serious happened between them. I think something’s bound to happen at some point. I think they’re both still figuring it out.”
“It’s good Andy has such a good friend in his corner.” Noah says. “Everyone needs someone like that.”
Paige and Noah eventually leave to go be home in time for Rachel. Andy was asleep when they said goodbye. Or he was pretending to be. He was texting Brandon under his covers. He wanted to make sure he was alright.
“Andy?” You coo as you go into his room. “Dad made tacos if you’re hungry for dinner, honey.”
“Yeah, okay.” He sighs and gets up. “Thanks, I’m just gonna wash up.”
You nod and go back out to the kitchen.
“Is he coming out?” Harry asks as he gets everything on the table.
“Yeah.”
Dinner is mostly quiet, but Andy seemed to be doing okay. You and Harry cozy up on the couch with separate books, and Andy comes out.
“Can I watch TV?”
“Sure.” Harry says, handing him the remote.
“Can I…sit between you two?”
“Of course!” You say and scoot away from Harry to make room.
Andy plops down between the two of you, and puts on some show on Cartoon Network. You and Harry keep mindlessly reading. You were half expecting Andy to lay in your lap, but about twenty minutes in you look over and see Harry watching the show with him, his arm around Andy, and Andy’s head nuzzled into his chest. It was so sweet you thought it was going to give you a cavity. Harry was eating it up too. Even though he knew this was a really tough day for Andy, he was happy to be having this moment with him. He knew as Andy got older they would just become fewer and farther between.
“Andy, if you don’t wanna go to school tomorrow, it’s okay to stay home.” Harry says to him.
“It’s okay, I’ll go. I’m not scared.” He yawns. “I’m gonna go read before bed, goodnight.”
“Night.” You say as he walks off. “I hope he’ll be alright.”
“He will be, he’s tough. Come on, we should go to bed too.”
You nod and follow him into your shared bedroom. You both go through your nightly routines and get into bed. He holds onto you a little tighter than he normally does. You knew he had have been worried about Andy, but he was trying to keep it cool for everyone else’s sake.
“Harry?”
“Hm?”
“How about I be big spoon tonight?”
“Alright.” He rolls over and you wrap yourself around him. He’d never admit it, but he needed this tonight.
//
Harry’s alarm goes off at five in the morning. You groan and roll onto your back to let him get up, only he turns it off and turns on his side to look at you. He reaches to stroke your cheek, and he takes your out stretches hand to his lips. He kisses on your palm and wrist.
“You’ll be miserable if you don’t do your yoga.” You mutter with your eyes closed.
“Don’t feel like it.” He mumbles as he continues to kiss on your hand.
You turn your head and open your eyes to look at him slightly. You move your fingers to his mouth and he sucks on your pinky. A small whimper leaves your lips and that’s when he knows he has you. He lets your pinky go with a pop and shifts under the blankets to get on top of you. You were naked, since that’s how you slept, and he only had boxers on. He mouths at your neck and licks up to your earlobe. He grinds his hard length against your center and he groans.
“Can feel how wet you are already.” He says into your ear. “I wanna fuck you.”
“You do?” You say innocently as he continues to grind himself against you. You move your hips up to meet his and he moans.
“Yes.” He kisses on your chest and sucks on one of your nipples. You push his hair back for him and you bite your bottom lip as you watch. “Can I?”
“Can you what?” You smirk.
“Fuck you. Please? I really want to.”
”Yes, Harry.”
He sighs with relief and rips the blankets away. He gets his boxers off and grabs a condom to roll on. He quickly gets back between your legs and you grind yourself against him.
“Like feeling me between your folds?”
“Yes.” He bites his bottom lip as he slowly pushes inside you. You moan out as he comes down to you, chest to chest. “Love it when you’re like this.” You pant. You move in sync with his thrusts and it has your eyes nearly crossing.
“Love it when you’re so good for me.” He moves to sit up on his knees, and pushes your thighs together. He grunts and his head rolls back. You take great pleasure in watching him lose himself. “You’re so fucking tight, Jesus.”
He lets your legs fall open and grips your sides as he continues to fuck in and out of you. You so a slight glute raise to give him a better angle, and you start rubbing your clit.
“Fuck, Harry.” You groan.
“Oh fuck, Y/N, oh god, shit.”
You both cry out and come at the same time. Your orgasm was so strong it just about brought you to tears. You cling to him as he falls on top of you. Your aftershocks cause you to clench around him a few times, but he continues to stay inside you. He kisses your forehead and you wince as he pulls out.
“Can we cuddle for a bit?” He asks as he throws out the condom.
“Yeah, let me just pee.”
You get up quickly to clean yourself up and then you get back into bed with him. He rests his head on your chest and you scratch his head, running your fingers through his curls.
“I should have Andy stay home today…I know he said he’d go, but…”
“Harry, if he doesn’t go the bullies win. If he really didn’t want to go he would tell us. If he doesn’t go today it’ll just be more difficult to later.”
“I know, you’re right.” He sighs. “I just…I admire him so much. When I was his age I just dressed like everyone else, I never did anything out of the ordinary because I didn’t want to get made fun of. I didn’t become myself until uni. People still gave me looks, but I was old enough not to care. He’s only twelve. He may be brave, but he’s only twelve…I’d hate for any of this to break his spirit.”
“Well, luckily for him he’s got a great dad for a role model. He’s able to be himself because he sees you doing it every day.”
“I…really don’t know what I would do without you sometimes.”
You kiss the top of his head and use your other arm to hug him close to you.
//
Andy was very brave at school. Some of Greg’s friends glared at him, but he had Caroline and Tyler by his side. When Brandon returns to school, and into the actual classroom, Andy feels overjoyed when he sees him sitting in homeroom.
“Hey, B.” He says as he sits down.
“Hey.”
“Did you get all your work? They wouldn’t let me be the one to drop off the worksheets because of Greg.”
“Yeah, I’m all caught up, thanks.” He rests his chin in his palm and puts his other hand over Andy’s. “Missed you.”
“I missed you too.” Andy’s cheeks were on fire.
“Let’s see what we’ve got this week.” He looks at Andy’s nails. “Dark green?”
“Yeah.”
“That’s…that’s my favorite color.”
“I know.” Andy smirks, and now it’s Brandon’s cheeks that are on fire. “Are your parents mad at me or anything?”
“What? No, not at all. They were pretty cool about everything, actually.”
“Oh, good…”
“Why?”
“Because, um, when my parents get married, I mean, when my dad and Y/N get married, they said I could invite a friend for the weekend. It’ll be really fun since we’re staying in a hotel suite. We’ll be with my cousins Lizzie and Ritchie.” He swallows. “Would you want to go?”
“Are you serious? Yeah! I’ll ask my parents when I get home. When is it?”
“November sixth.”
“Cool.” Brandon smiles.
“Cool.” Andy smiles back. “My dad asked me to be his best man, too. It’s gonna be awesome.”
“Makes sense since you’re literally the best.”
“Brandon.” Andy giggles as he blushes.
“What?” He giggles too. “It’s true.”
//
“Have loads of fun, babe.”
“I would, but you won’t let go of me.” You chuckle.
This weekend was your bachelorette party, and Harry was hugging you goodbye out at your car, and he hadn’t let you go yet.
“Sorry.” He clears his throat and steps away from you. Then he steps closer to you again to kiss you for the millionth time.
“Har.” You giggle.
“I know, I’m being clingy, I’m sorry. I thought I’d have Andy for the long the weekend…I’m not sure what I’m gonna do with myself.”
“Why don’t you hang out with Andre?”
“Yeah, I might catch a movie with him.”
“Good.” You smile. “I have to go or I’ll be late picking Janette up.”
“Alright.” He kisses you one last time and lets you get into your car.
You pick up Janette and you both squeal as you make the trek down to Boston. You were extremely excited. You’d be sharing a hotel suite with your friends, and the best part was Nora graciously planned the entire thing for you. You couldn’t have asked for a better maid of honor. Next weekend would be your bridal shower, which would be more casual than anything because you and Harry didn’t even put a registry together, you just had a honeymoon fund. You two really didn’t need anything since you were already living in a home together and bought what you needed. So the bridal shower would just be a casual luncheon in the back room of a grill in town.
The second you and Janette get inside the hotel room, Nora starts making frozen margaritas. You look around and see that the theme would be cinco de mayo, very cool. She puts some beads around your neck and hugs you.
“I hope you’re hungry because we’re eating at Fagitas and Ritas tonight.” Darcy says.
“Thank fucking god, I love it there. Everyone, this is Janette.”
“It’s so great to meet you!” Nora says. “Nice to finally meet the work bestie face to face.”
“It’s great to meet you all too. Y/N’s told me wonderful things.”
Janette gets acquainted with Claudia and Mark as well. You weren’t worried about anyone not getting along. Janette reminded you a lot of your friends in general, it’s probably why you clicked with her off the bat.
“Y/N, is Harry doing anything fun this weekend?” Mark asks.
“I’m not sure. He thought he had Andy this weekend, but it’s Paige’s weekend, so he may make plans with his other friends.” You shrug. “He can’t do his bachelor party until right before the wedding when his friends fly in.”
“Paige couldn’t have just switched up the weekends?” Darcy asks.
“She’s supposed to get him for long weekends since Harry has him during the school year. That’s how it used to be when she had him during the school year, so he just wants to do what’s right. He’ll make his own fun, it’ll be fine.”
You all get ready, take a few pictures, and head out. You take the green line to Park Street, and then head down the alley to the restaurant. It was an incredible place. They served liter pitchers of frozen margaritas for groups to share. Your friends would come often, and would get sneaky, often taking an entire liter to the face, and that was the plan for you tonight. You got your tequila lime shrimp tacos, and you all told stories as you downed your drinks. You lean into Nora.
“You’re not taking me to a strip club or anything like that, right? Harry was pretty adamant that he didn’t want me doing that.” You slur.
“No, babe.” She chuckles. “I was thinking a drag show at first, but you always hear about how they can’t stand bridal parties, you know? And then I was thinking of asking Phil and Julian about that gay bar you go to with them, but again I didn’t want to be annoying. We are going to a club for a bit, and we are going to see some men dance, but I wouldn’t call them strippers.”
“Exotic dancers, if you will.” Claudia says. “They stay on the stage the whole time, so you don’t have to worry about a lap dance.”
“And we already took out plenty of cash to throw their way.” Mark says. “I’ve been before, it’s fun.”
“Harry doesn’t need to know.” Janette winks.
“Would you care if he went to a strip club with his friends?” Darcy asks out of curiosity.
“I don’t know.” You shrug. “He’s really not the type to ogle women, he’s too shy for that I think. He’s a bit possessive in that I don’t even think he would enjoy going somewhere like that because none of the women would be me, you know?”
“Jesus.” Mark says. “Got yourself a good man, I have to say.”
You all raise your glasses to that, and when you’re done you head out, thankful for the cool October air hitting your skin. You hop back on the T to get to the place Nora had set up reservations for. Watching the men dance made for a lot of squealing and blushing on your part, it was all good fun. They showed a little skin, but weren’t stripping, and they really did stay on the stage.
Four men come out dressed in slacks and cummerbunds. I Wanna Sex You Up begins playing, and the choreography looks oddly familiar. Your jaw drops when it registers.
“Nora, you didn’t.”
“I had to.” She chuckles.
“I’m very confused…” Janette says. “Delighted, but confused.”
“In the first season of Glee a few of the guys get together for an all-male acapella group, and this was a memorable scene for Y/N.” Nora explains. “I requested it in advance, let’s tip well.”
You sway back and forth in your chair and sing along with the song as the men continue to dance essentially for you. You were laughing so hard you were crying by the end of it, and you hug your friend. Once you all have had your fill you head to a club so you all could dance.
Now you really felt like you were in your element. Nora had reserved a VIP sections at one of your favorite clubs so you could all dance freely without bumping into a bunch of sweaty strangers. You were sticking with tequila tonight as to not get sick. You were having loads of fun, but you couldn’t help but wonder what Harry had gotten up to, so you tell your friends you need to use the ladies room quickly. The ladies room in the VIP section was actually clean, you were shocked. You may pee just for the hell of it. You take out your phone and call your fiancé.
“Y/N?”
“Hey, baby!” You slur. “Just checking in, whatcha up to?”
“Well…it’s one in the morning, so I was sleeping.”
Oh, shit, you think to yourself. You hadn’t even checked the time on your phone before you called. Now you felt like a proper dick.
“Shit, Har, I’m so sorry. I didn’t even realize how late it was, and I was thinking of you, and-“
“Babe, it’s alright.” He chuckles. “I went to a movie with Andre and Sandra and then we went out for drinks and a bite to eat. It was fun.”
“Oh, good! Any plans for tomorrow?”
“I’m hoping to get up and go for a run, and then I’m gonna work on my manuscript. Then I may have dinner with Lisa and her husband, but we’ll see.” He yawns.
“I’m really sorry I woke you…”
“I’ll fall back asleep don’t worry about it. What did you all get into tonight?”
“Drinking, dinner, more drinking, we went to, um, a show, and now we’re drinking more at a club.”
“Ah, so you’re still out?”
“Mhm.”
“Go be with your friends, baby.”
“I know, I just…wanted to hear your voice, that’s all.”
“Mm, well I’m glad you called, then.”
“I love your sleepy voice.” You pout, not that he can see it.
“Y/N, you’re gonna give me a stiffy if you keep talking like that, so, please, go back out and have fun, yeah?”
“Okay, I love you.”
“I love you too.”
You sigh and go back out to continue dancing with your friends. You all get back to the hotel around three in the morning, and everyone crashes. The next day was all about recovering cozily. Room service was ordered and many movies were watched.
“Do you think things will change much once you and Harry are married?” Mark asks as you all do face masks.
“Nah, the biggest change will be going onto the same insurance plan.” You laugh. “We’ll start having kids, I know that much.”
“Do you have any big plans for after you get your doctorate?” Darcy asks.
“Mhm, we’re going to take Andy to Disney World as a combined celebration. Harry’s been dying to take him there for, like, and end of middle school thing, but we really wanna go before we have an infant on our hands, so he’s gonna say it’s for his thirteenth birthday instead.”
“That’s the perfect age to go.” Janette says. “He’ll remember way more, plus I bet he’ll enjoy the alone time with the both of you.”
“He’s gonna be so surprised.” You say. “I love that kid.”
“Any tea to spill about him and his friend?” Claudia asks.
“He hasn’t told me much recently.” You shrug. “Which is perfectly fine. He’s coming to the wedding with him, that I know for sure.”
//
Harry wasn’t home when you got back from your bachelorette weekend, so you take the opportunity to have a long shower and get into some comfy clothes. You hear the front door open and close, and go out to see Harry coming in with Andy.
“Hey, guys!” You say brightly.
“Y/N!” Andy says and comes to give you a hug. “Did you have a good time with your friends?”
“I did, yeah. How was Mum’s?”
“Good, we went shopping for a Halloween costume.”
“And what are you planning to be this year?”
“A rock star, so, so she got me a blow up guitar that has a strap, and I’m gonna wear all black. It’s gonna be sick.” He heads down the hall into his room.
“Is he going trick or treating?” You say as you wrap your arms around Harry’s neck. He hugs you for a moment before giving you a lip smacking kiss.
“Yeah, he’ll go out for a bit with his friends, and then I guess Caroline is having a little party at her house.”
“Oh, my…a boy-girl party, huh?”
“I know.” Harry sighs and grips your hips. “He’ll be picked up at 9:30 and not a moment later.” He kisses you again. “How was your weekend?”
“It was a lot of fun, it was so good to get away with them for a bit. Just another reminder of how excited I am to marry you.”
He squishes his nose to yours before letting you go. The evening is cozy as the three of you decide to play a board game before Andy goes to bed. It was an incredible game of Scrabble. Harry tugs you into your bedroom about twenty minutes later, and gets you undressed. You giggle as he kisses on you. You shift to get on top of him, and you pin his wrists to the pillows. You suck on his bottom lip and he groans before you lick into his mouth.
“God, I wanted you so bad this weekend.” You say to him as you kiss down his body. “Miss me?”
“Course I did.” He holds your hair back as you wrap your lips around his throbbing dick. His breath hitches as he feels your tongue run over his slit. “Fuck.” He breathes.
You bob up and down on him for a bit before he has you on your stomach. He pulls your hips back and starts fingering you from behind. You clutch at the pillows. You feel him open your cheeks up and his free thumb starts rubbing on your other hole. He hadn’t done this in a while, you almost forgot how good it felt.
“Shit, Harry.”
“Like that?”
“Feels so good.”
He was knuckle deep inside you, petting against your g-spot, and he gradually starts to work his thumb inside you. You gasp, but let him continue. You suddenly feel…full! It was sending you. You fuck yourself on his fingers while he continues to work his thumb into you.
“Alright? Still feels good?” He grunts. His tip was leaking just watching you.
“Yes, fuck, don’t stop.” You moan out into the pillows so you’re not too loud. You completely lose it around his fingers, and he gives you a moment before retracting himself. You wince a little when you feel his thumb leave you. You stay in position for him while he rolls a condom on.
“You good like that, babe? Your knees don’t hurt?”
“No, I’m good, please, give it to me like this.”
He nods and leans down to kiss you before getting back behind you. He grips your hips and pushes his thick tip inside you. Your back arches once he bottoms out. His pace is slow at first, wanting to ease in and out of you. You start moving on and off him at your own pace.
“Impatient.” He grunts as he lets you use him.
“You weren’t going fast enough.”
“So just tell me to go faster.”
“Thought you liked it when I used you.” You smirk at him over your shoulder and he bites his bottom lip.
“Will you get on top?”
“Yeah.”
He pulls out of you and gets on his back. You swing your leg over and sink down on him. You pin his wrists against the pillows again, and bring yourself down chest to chest. You lick into his mouth as you move on and off his hard dick. Your fingers intertwine and he squeezes your hands.
“Let me rub your clit.” He groans.
“Ask nicely.”
“Can I rub your clit?”
“Yes.”
You let go of one of his hands, and he snakes it between the two of you. You gasp into his mouth as he rubs circles into you. Sweat pools between your bellies, and you both lose it. You rest on top of him for a few moments before getting off. Once you’re both cleaned up you snuggle up to him in bed and lay your head on his chest.
“Slept like shit without you, if I’m being honest.” You tell him and kiss on his tattooed collar bones.
“I had to use my body pillow for the first time in forever.”
“I wrapped myself up in my little blanket burrito like I used to, but it just wasn’t the same. I enjoy your heavy body way more.”
“I’m always afraid I’m gonna crush you.” He chuckles.
“Oh, like when you lay fully on top of me? I fucking love that.” You smirk and he shakes his head.
“You’re suck a little freak.”
“Yeah, but I’m your freak.” You kiss his cheek. “I’m also not the one that enjoys giving people rim jobs, so I don’t wanna hear it.”
“I didn’t even do that tonight!”
“You still got in there.”
“And you liked it, so don’t kinkshame me.”
“I’m not! I like that you’re a little kinky.” You giggle.
“Just so you know, I don’t do that with just anyone…” He mutters.
“Aw, well don’t I feel special.” You say sarcastically. “It’s so good to know you’ve only had your tongue up a few people’s asses.” He blinks at you and you start laughing. “Chill, I’m just teasing.” You peck his lips and turn over, and he turns with you to wrap himself around you.
“You’re lucky I think you’re incredibly cute, you know that?”
//
Trick or treating was fun, but short lived. Andy his friends hit up the houses they knew that had the best candy, and then made their way to Caroline’s. You and Harry were at a Halloween themed game night at Mateo’s. Caroline’s house had a finished basement, so it was the perfect spot for a little party. Most of Andy’s homeroom was there. Her sister’s had helped set up donuts on strings for a little contest. There was music playing, and everyone was having a good time. There was even a wall with decorations for people to take pictures. Andy takes plenty with his friends.
Once Caroline’s sisters go upstairs, the kids all get into a game of truth or dare. They all sit in a circle on the floor, and put a bottle in the middle. The dares were lighthearted at first, someone had to cluck like a chicken, someone had to chug a can of soda, someone had to see how many marshmallows they could fit into their mouth, normal kid stuff. Then it got a little more serious. Some were daring others to go into the closet for seven minutes, others had to admit to having crushes.
“Okay, Brandon…” A girl named Maggie says, “truth or dare?”
“Dare.” He shrugs.
“Alright, I dare you to go into the closet with Andy for seven minutes.”
Andy nearly chokes on his drink, and looks wide eyed at Brandon.
“What exactly do you want us to do in there?” Brandon asks.
“Doesn’t matter, whatever happens is between you two.” She shrugs.
It wasn’t like they were the only same sex people to be asked to go into the closet. Some kids were out already, but things weren’t as obvious for Brandon and Andy.
“Do you want to?” Brandon asks him.
“I guess.”
They both get up, and go into the closet. Someone starts a timer for seven minutes. Andy leans against one of the walls of the closet. It was roomy.
“It’s too dark in here.” Brandon says as he turns the flashlight of his phone on. He sets it on the floor so it’s not blinding. “There we go, now I can see you.” Andy gives him a small smile. “Have I told you how cool your costume is?”
“Thanks, my mum helped me put it together. Although, Y/N helped with the eye liner.” He rubs the back of his neck. “I like yours too.”
“I don’t know, I thought it was kind of lame.” He chuckles. “A baseball player isn’t exactly original, but my mom wanted to make sure I was wearing pants.” He sighs.
“I know! Parents are always so worried about us being cold. It’s not like we were out that long.”
“Hey, remember when we were thing one and thing two in elementary school? We had to meet up like every weekend to make sure everything matched!”
“Yeah! I’m so glad we don’t have to do that anymore.” Andy stands up straight. “How long do you think it’s been?”
“Just a couple minutes.”
“This is such a weird dare…feel like I’m in an eighties movie.” Andy scoffs.
“I know, it feels like a force.” He sighs. “M’not gonna kiss you in a closet. That’s just what everyone wants. Then we’d have to walk out of here all awkward.”
“I don’t want you to kiss me in here either.” Andy chews his bottom lip. “But I do want you to kiss me, Brandon, really bad.” So many things had been left unsaid between them, and this was the first time Andy really said it to his friend.
“Maybe we can find somewhere else to go, somewhere less obvious.”
Andy nods, and the door opens. A few people frown as they can tell nothing happened between the two. It was getting closer to 9:30, and neither Andy nor Brandon wanted to get interrupted by a call from a parent again. Brandon watches as Andy goes over to Caroline.
“Is there somewhere private he and I can go?”
“Weren’t you two just alone?” She raises an eyebrow at him.
“Yeah, but it would have been so obvious…”
Caroline looks around. She thinks to tell them to go to the bathroom, but that would be obvious too. Her basement was a walkout, and the outside portion had been screened in for bugs. They could go out there for a few minutes. They could just say they’re getting some air.
“Go outside for a few minutes.” She nods over to the sliding door. “I’ll standby to keep watch.”
“You’re the best.”
Andy and Brandon go outside unnoticed by anyone else.
“You’re okay out here…like this?” Brandon asks.
“Yeah.” He takes a deep breath. “I need to know something before we do this, though…I mean, how do you feel about me? Because I like you, Brandon, like really like you.”
“I really like you too.”
“You do?”
“Yeah.”
“For how long?”
“I don’t know when it started exactly. I just know that I do.”
Andy smiles at him and backs up to the siding of the house as Brandon walks towards him. Andy reaches up and turns Brandon’s baseball cap around so it wouldn’t get in the way. They both chuckle out of nerves. Brandon cups one of Andy’s cheeks and leans in.
“You’re sure?” Brandon asks.
“Yes.” He breathes.
Andy closes his eyes, and braces himself. Brandon’s lips press against his. The first thing he notices is how soft Brandon’s lips are, but he wasn’t surprised because he was always using chapstick. The second thing he notices is how he feels warm all over. He had butterflies in his stomach, but they were the good kind. He reaches up to cup one of Brandon’s cheeks so he won’t pull away. They stay like that for a few moment, kissing innocently. Brandon pulls away to get some air and presses his forehead to Andy’s.
“How was that for a first kiss?” Brandon looks at him.
“B-better than I ever imagined.” He tugs on Brandon’s jersey to pull him back in and they kiss once more. They both giggle afterwards. “H-how was I?”
“Best kiss I’ve ever had.”
“Jesus.” Andy blushes. “We, um, we should keep this quiet until after the wedding. If we say anything to our parents they may not let us share a hotel room or they might add more rules or something.”
“Shit, you’re right…yeah, let’s keep it to ourselves for now. I…I mean, I don’t even know what this all means, like, are we gay?”
“Well…you could be, but I like boys and girls.” It was wild how easily he was just able to admit it. “It’s called bi, or whatever, so that’s what I think I am. Does it matter? I like you and you like me, that’s it.”
“Right, that’s all that really matters.” Brandon smiles.
Andy feels his phone buzz in his pocket, and he takes it out to see that Harry texted he was out front.
“I have to go, my parents are here.”
“Okay.”
The boys hug and then kiss one more time before going inside. Andy and Caroline share a knowing look, and then he makes the rounds saying goodbye. He heads upstairs and thanks Caroline’s sisters for having him, and then goes outside with all his candy. Harry would need to inspect it when they got home. He climbs into the backseat of the car. You were in a giggly mood from the wine you had drank at game night.
“Andy! How was the party?” You ask him as you turn around slightly to make eye contact.
“Oh, um, it was good, really, really good.”

Tumblr media
You opened the window, closed your eyes and inhaled deeply. You didn’t care that the wind swirling around outside was causing small pools of water on the sill as fat droplets made their way in side. You didn’t care that the air was thick and the sky was a chalky grey. It was raining and you loved the rain. Rain was cleansing. Rain meant that old things were being washed away and new things would grow in their place. Rain was comforting.
The apartment you lived in with your father was the opposite. The building was old and every other floorboard seemed to creak or crack. The windows rattled and no matter how much the two of tried to keep things clean, there seemed to be a perpetual layer of dust that settled over everything. It was somehow stuff and drafty at the same time. You want to be outside where the rain was, not stuck inside with your two babysitters.
“[Y/N], what the hell are you doing?” Your Uncle Bucky demanded as he entered the living room. He pulled down the sash, effectively closing the window and keeping the beautiful rain scents out.
“Buck, you shouldn’t say hell to kids. You shouldn’t swear at kids. Steve would have a fit if he heard you.” Uncle Same chastised as he followed into the room.
“[Y/n]’s not a kid, she’s twelve. That’s practically thirteen. She’s basically a teenager.” Bucky pointed out. “Besides it’s not like hell is a gateway swear. You think if she hears me say hell then it’s a matter of time before she moves on to some real swear like…"
“I’m going to stop you right there.” Sam interrupted. “I don’t see a scenario where that sentence doesn’t end in a word Steve is comfortable with [Y/N] hearing.”
“Uncle Sam you do know that I’ve been around Tony Stark before, right?” You asked. “And believe it or not the Avenger who swears the most is Dr. Banner.”
“That still doesn’t mean your Uncle Bucky needs to help you pick up any bad habits.” Sam then noticed the water on the windowsill dripping down onto Steve’s hardwood floor. “Where did all that water come from?”
“Little Rogers had the window open.” Bucky nodded at you. “She had half her torso sticking out a fifth floor window.” He shook his head. “I’ll go get a towel.”
“Were you really hanging out the window?” Sam asked as Bucky stepped out into the hall. He knew Uncle Bucky had the tendency to overreact. Not that he could blame the guy, you were the only kid Bucky ever spent more than five minutes with.
“No.” You answered, but the truth was you couldn’t be certain. “I don’t know, maybe.” You added.
“YES!” Bucky shouted from the linen closet, still out of sight.
“You know that’s dangerous, don’t you [Y/N]?” Sam reminded you.
“Yeah, but…” You tried to defend yourself.
“Yeah but do you think Uncle Sam or I want to have to call your Dad and tell him that you fell out the window when we were supposed to be taking care of you?” Bucky handed you the towel and motioned for you to start moping up your mess.
“Weren’t you the one who was just saying I’m practically a teenager?” You sighed. You then mumbled to yourself, “Besides, maybe if I fell out of the window he’d actually pay attention to me.” Sam and Bucky exchanged a look of confusion behind your back.
“What do you mean by that?” Sam probed. He wasn’t accusatory. His tone was soft, he waited for you to answer.
“He’s not here right now is he?” You tossed the sopping towel in your hands to the ground and turned to face them. “Lots of kids have parents who go away for work so I know I’m not that special okay? But I can’t help but wish he was home more. Even when he’s not away on missions he’s still in his office taking calls or filing reports or zoom meetings! It sucks!” You threw yourself down into a nearby armchair. You ignored the smirk from Bucky and the incredulous look from Sam as you swore. “Even when he tries to do things with me…Like last week, he wanted to take me out for ice cream. We didn’t even make it a block from the apartment before he was getting hounded for photos and autographs. I love my dad, but I hate Captain America.”
Sam and Bucky exchange another look. This time both their expressions seemed to say, “What do we do now?”
“It’s okay, you can say it.” You sighed, looking down at your feet rather than at either of them.
“Say what, Kid?” Bucky used the most affectionate nickname he could muster and he sat beside you on the couch.
“That it’s a really selfish thing to say and that Captain America does a lot of good and sharing dad with the Greater Good is a sacrifice I should be happy to make. You can’t think any worse of me then I already do.” You assured them, still not daring to make eye contact with either one of them.
“I don’t think that at all.” Bucky told you. You certainly weren’t expect that. You looked over at him. “I hate Captain America too sometimes.”
“You do?” You felt your eyebrows knit together. Uncle Bucky had been your dad’s best friend practically their entire lives.
“Of course. Steve Rogers is my best friend.” Bucky said. “But Steve Rogers is a skinny little thing who’s allergic to everything under the sun, and couldn’t fight his way out of a paper bag.” His description brought forward in your mind pictures you’d seen of you dad before the serum. Seeimg him like that always made you giggle. “Now Captain America, He’s a big beefy guy, he likes running and motocyles, thinks he’s so cool.” Bucky wrinkled his face in disgust. “You know what helps me, on my days when I’m really ticked off at Captain America?”
“What?” You inched a little closer to Bucky as if he were whispering a secret.
“I have to remind myself that some days, your dad hates Captain America too.” You opened your mouth to disagree, but Sam jumped in. He sat on the other end of the couch, joining the conversation.
“Remember that story you were telling us during dinner, that one friend you have…?” Sam reminded you.
“Jennifer.” You supplied.
“Right.” Sam nodded. “Remember how you said Jennifer’s mom told her that drawing is a waste of time so now even though Jennifer really loves to paint and draw she doesn’t bring her projects home from art class any more? This is kind of like that.”
“Riiight.” Bucky agreed unsure if your friend’s interest in art was the same as the point he was trying to make, but he’d give Wilson an A for effort.
“It’s the same thing.” Sam insisted. “Jennifer is comfortable sharing her art work with you, because she knows you support her. There are thinks your dad with share with us that Captain America might not share with the world.”
“Right.” Bucky nodded enthusiastically this time. “Like that magazine that published an Apple Pie recipe last month as ‘Captain America’s Signature Apple Pie.’ You and I both know your dad’s never made an apple pie in his life. He doesn’t even like apple pie that much.” You smiled again remembering the rant Uncle Bucky had gone on when he saw the magazine in the grocery store.
“You said your cat could probably make a better pie that dad.” You reminded him.
“And I still think that.” Buck assured you. “Our point, [Y/N], is that it’s okay to not be okay all of the time. It’s okay to feel like your dad and Captain America are two different people sometimes. But you have to talk about you are feeling. You have to tell your dad, Uncle Sam, me or someone else , because if you don’t you’re never going to feel better about it.”
“I mean I guess I feel a little better already.” You shrugged. “But I’m afraid to bother any one with my stuff. You guys are busy. Let me guess this is the part where you both say you’re never too busy for me?” You rolled your eyes. “Dad says that all the time, but he’s on a mission and not at the father daughter dance with me tonight. I’m sorry about the window.” You said getting to your feet. You picked up the towel from where you’d discarded it earlier.
“Father daughter dance?” Bucky mouthed to Sam behind your back. Sam shrugged in response. “Fix it!” Bucky replied.
“How?” Sam mouthed back. It was Bucky’s turn to shrug.
“I think I got most of the water.” You said, facing them again. “I’ll throw this thing in the hamper and then I think I’ll call it a night. Thanks for listening to me b-complain for a bit.” You decided not to chance swearing again in front of Uncle Sam.
“Bed?” Bucky jumped to his feet. “It’s not even five yet.” He glanced at his watch to confirm. “We should do something…”
“That’s fine, I think I just want to be alone for now. I’m sure dad will still be gone tomorrow. We can do something then.” You and your dripping wet towel started to make your way towards your bedroom.
“[Y/N], wait.” Sam also got to his feet. “Maybe Uncle Bucky and I could take you to your father daughter dance. I know it’s not the same because we’re not your dad, but other kids probably go with uncles or…”
“Jennifer’s moms are both taking her.” You smirked. “And I am the only one of my friends who wasn’t going. It could be fun.”
“What time’s the dance start?” Bucky asked. “Seven? Eight?”
“Seven, but I don’t have anything to wear. Everyone else was planning on dressing up.” You pointed out.
“If we leave now, I’m sure we can still find you something nice.” Sam suggested. “Maybe we can find a salon to do your hair.” He remembered how much his sister used to love getting her hair done special for dances when they were younger.
“What about the rain?” You bit your lip. You could tell they were really trying to make this work.
“You were about to climb out that window before I got in the room.” Bucky laughed. “I didn’t think a little rain would slow you down.”
“Okay.” You agreed. “Okay. Father-Daughter-Uncle Dance it is.”
“I’ll get my car keys. You put your shoes on and get a jacket. Last thing I need is you getting sick.” Sam instructed.
Two and a half hours later, Sam parked his car in the parking lot of your school. The dance was being held in the gymnasium. Miraculously, he had found a hair salon that was still open and willing to style your hair for the event. Apparently, a lot of parents in the neighborhood were taking their kids for cuts or styles in preparation of the big event. While you were in the salon, Bucky darted in and out of shops trying to find the right dress. He was on video chat with you or Sam the entire time and eventually the three of you settled on a pale pink dress with layers and layers of tule for the skirt. It had a shimmering silk sash that Uncle Bucky had tied into a perfect pink bow and the sleeves were flowy but not heavy. You felt like a princess.
“We’re late.” You frowned. “Do you think that matters?”
“Haven’t you ever been fashionably late before?” Bucky asked, opening the car door for you. He held a large umbrella in his hands so that neither of you would get wet. You noticed the rain had slowed down considerably since earlier.
Bucky and Sam had done their best to look put together for you. Uncle Bucky borrowed a pair of your dad’s old khaki pants and a charcoal grey button up shirt he hardly ever wore. You didn’t know where he’d found suspenders, but suspected they were your fathers too. Uncle Sam went for a more casual look wearing his cleanest pair of jeans and a maroon polo. When you entered the school gym, your homeroom teacher Mr. Jenson was selling and collecting tickets.
“Ah, [Y/N] Rogers. Who are your escorts this evening?” He asked while Sam paid for the tickets.
“These are my two Uncles.” You introduced them.
“It’s a pleasure to meet both of you.” Mr. Jenson smiled. “Enjoy the dance.”
For the most part you did. There were all sorts of desserts available. Bucky helped you taste test every single one before you both agreed the chocolate cupcakes were the best. You felt a sense of pride when one of the boys in your class tried asking Sam about his Falcon costume and he explained he was at the dance on official Uncle business. They’d have to save the Falcon talk for another time. You introduced them to all of your friends and told everyone how amazing it was that they’d put everything together so last minute for you. Both Sam and Bucky took turns making sure you got in as many dances as possible. What had started as a boring afternoon had turned into a pretty good night.
“I think I’m ready for bed.” You yawned as you sat down next to Sam. The night had begun to wind down and you were getting tired.
“One more dance and then we’ll head up.” Bucky told you.
“Uncle Bucky I don’t know if I’ve got one more dance in me.” You yawned again.
“Too tired to dance with your old man even?” A familiar voice asked from behind you. You pivoted in your seat to see your dad standing behind you. He was dressed in his best suit, your favorite navy blue one, and held a bouquet of wildflowers in one hand.
“Dad!” You jumped to your feet and hugged him.
“You didn’t think I’d miss the chance to dance with my best girl, did ya?” You Dad asked. You took the flowers he offer you and placed them on the table between Sam and Bucky.
“Thank you.” You whispered to both of them before following your dad out to the dance floor.

Tumblr media
• summary: taeyong meets your parents for the first time, and it doesn’t go so well • pairing: lee taeyong x male!reader • word count: 2094 • to do
You tap along the steering wheel. A song plays quietly on the radio, barely heard even in the silence of the car. You breathe out and shake the thousands of thoughts running through your head around.
“Okay, I’m going to give you the run-down on some things.”
He watches you for a second, waiting for you to continue. He hopes for something to calm his nerves, but instead, you begin warning him of everything your mom may do to make his life more difficult.
“So, don’t serve yourself first. My mom is going to say you should get food, but you’re going to decline and smile that pretty smile, and then after everyone else gets food, we’re going to get some. And you don’t start eating until my dad takes the first bite.” You think over everything you’ve seen your dad disprove of or your mom mention after meeting one of your cousin’s spouses. “And there’s going to be a dish in front of you, and my mom will say she messed up the recipe or doesn’t like it and wants you to try it and you’re going to pretend it’s the best thing ever and even if you don’t like it much you need to get a second serving.”
Taeyong listens. He waits for you to continue speaking, watching your chest move up and down with your face, switching emotions every few words.
“And offer to help clean up but if she says no, don’t ask again, just nod and say you can help if she needs it. Then when dessert comes, get a slice of cake and compliment the icing and ask about the recipe so my sister can get some compliments.”
You continue to talk about things your parents and siblings will do. Taeyong stays quietly next to you. He’s trying to keep track of everything you say, but soon your words are blending together, and he’s left stranded in his thoughts.
You finally arrive in front of your parent’s house and park the car. “Was there anything else?”
You look at Taeyong for an answer. He looks at you. Lost in the situation at hand.
“It’ll be fine. They will… love you.”
“I hope so.” Taeyong smiles and pats your leg.
You flip down the vanity mirror and scan yourself. Taeyong straightens out his shirt. He waits for you to open your door but after a minute of waiting for it and it not happening, he broaches the silence and the halted breaths. He pats your shoulder and opens the passenger side door. He waves for you to follow him and walks three steps towards the door.
You groan and step out. Your shoulders are hunched forward, and you seem lost as you trudge past Taeyong. You take his hand as you walk and pull him along. He waits with more patience than you would have in front of the door, with your knuckles hovering over the center of it. You squeeze your eyes shut and rap your fingers against the frame before you back out of the meeting entirely.
Before the drive over, Taeyong was nervous. He spent hours getting ready, talking himself up even longer before that, and was prepared for you to tell him it would all be okay. Instead, when you arrived, he saw helplessness in your eyes, and the first words out of your mouth were of quitting. You’ve spent the entire day mumbling about what you hope your parents will do and how you want your sister to act and what Taeyong should do, and how you should act.
Your dad opens the door. You look similar, but your dad wears a stoic expression that would be foreign on your face. His eyes are bored as he looks over you. He doesn’t say anything and steps back, gesturing with his hand for you to come inside. You gulp and pull Taeyong in. Taeyong can see your father eyeing him up and down as he passes. He’s silently exhilarated that he’s on the opposite side of you.
Your dad points past you, into the kitchen, and you nod your head. You roll your shoulders back. You give yourself a moment before you walk into the kitchen. Your mom stands in front of the stove, mixing something in a large pot. She looks over at you and smiles.
It’s a weird smile that makes Taeyong uncomfortable. A scrutinizing and fake-happy smile even Taeyong can read through. She walks over and hugs you. Both of you are stiff with the movement. Your sister is flipping through a cookbook and barely looks up when you say hello. Your mom shoos you out of the kitchen and tells you to stay in the living room until the food is done.
Your dad is nowhere to be seen, which makes Taeyong nervous, but being able to hear the puttering of your mom and sister in the kitchen helps slightly. You hold Taeyong’s hand and fiddle with his fingers.
The dinner is completed soon after, and your sister silently beckons you into the dining room. You sit at the end of the table, with Taeyong next to you, but your mom shakes her head at you when she places the first dish down. You sigh and stand up, moving to sit across from Taeyong. He reaches forward with his foot, knocking his toes against the bottom of your shoe.
Your mom finishes placing all of the dishes on the table and finds the seat across from your dad. She slowly picks her napkin up and drapes it across her lap. Then, as if on cue, she asks Taeyong to serve himself first.
He politely declines and shakes his head when your mom offers it again. Your dad serves himself first, then your mother. Your sister doesn’t hesitate to grab a spoon before your mother is even finished. You help yourself next and nod for Taeyong. He serves himself and waits.
Your dad begins to eat, and the dinner continues in painful silence. Your mom takes a bite and watches Taeyong. She waits until nobody has food in their mouths and gestures to the dish in front of Taeyong.
“I think I may have added too much salt. Do you think you could taste it for me? Give me your honest opinion.”
You watch Taeyong with bated breath as he gives himself a serving and takes a bite. He hums approvingly and begins to compliment it. He serves himself more and continues to eat it, hoping his reaction didn’t seem as fake as it felt.
You tap on your thigh, looking straight down the entire dinner. After your father is finished eating, your mom begins to clean everything up, interrupting you and Taeyong from stuffing your face to avoid the silent stares. She picks up your plate and points to the dishes upon dishes of food.
“Grab some of that and come help me.” She states, and you prepare yourself.
“Would you like me to help?” Taeyong asks, placing his napkin down.
“No.” She doesn’t look at him as she says it, but her straight face and stern voice are evidence enough for him to stay still.
You gather the food, shooting Taeyong a “save me” look. You follow your mom into the kitchen and begin to divide the leftovers into containers.
She begins speaking, and your heart falls to a halt. “So, he is the one you spoke about?”
“Yes.” Your reply is curt. Not wanting and not ready for any argument but aware one is to come.
“Hm.”
“I don’t want to hear it, mom.” You shake your head and stack the dirty dishes. “He’s nice and sweet. He loves me. I love him. I brought him here because I thought it was the polite thing to do.”
“Is he the reason you’ve begun speaking like this?” She asks, waving around a spoon as if it’s the most menacing weapon in existence.
You hold back from rolling your eyes. “I’ve always thought these things, and I’ve wanted to say them for a while now.”
“Is this the person we’ve raised you to become?” She asks. She puts down the spoon and shakes her head. “I’m disappointed.”
“You’re disappointed I’ve found a person I wanted to bring home? Is that why you’re disappointed, or are you disappointed that I found someone that makes me happy?”
“I’m glad you’re happy. I think you could be happy with a nice girl and have a wonderful family. A girl who listens and obeys-”
“Obeys?” You gasp out the word. You place the dishes in the sink and begin running water. “That’s barbaric, even for you.”
The soap pumps out slowly, needing to be refilled soon. Your mom stacks up unused containers to put back in cabinets. You stay in silence for a while before your mom decides it would be best to speak again.
“I don’t like him.”
“You don’t like anyone.” You wash the plates and cooking dishes, shaking your head the entire time. “I don’t need you to approve of him. I just want you to be nice to him. I know our family isn’t big on conversation, but the least you can do is talk to him.”
“We don’t like him. Are we supposed to lie to him?”
“You didn’t give him a chance! You don’t even know him-”
“I-”
You speak louder than you ever have in front of your parents. “You don’t like him because he’s a man!”
“Don’t you raise-”
You shake your head and turn off the water, throwing the scrub brush down. “Am I wrong?”
“I’m sorry I have these beliefs. I’m sorry we raised you-”
“Yeah, you raised me straight, and you see that turned out.” You shake your head and roll your eyes. “You didn’t even give him a chance, mom. Why does his gender matter? Why do you care about anything other than him making me happy?”
“Because your happiness doesn’t matter compared to-”
You tune her voice out halfway through the sentence. She stands, talking, as tears prick the corners of your eyes. You pull at your hair. You start to argue against her, opening and closing your mouth repeatedly. You push through the dining-room door. She yells at you not to walk away from her, but you ignore it, and the looks and complaints from your father for raising your voice or causing a scene.
“I’m sorry I brought you here,” You hold your hand out for Taeyong and smile. It’s a sad smile that Taeyong never wants to see again, and your heartbreak is visible behind the motion. “We should go.”
Taeyong no longer cares about impressing your family. Instead, all of his worry goes into your sad eyes and defeated posture. He stands, not looking at your sister’s angry manner, and walks you out of the house without a second thought.
He sits in the driver’s seat this time. Tears spill over your cheeks as the doors finally close and you cover your face.
“I’m sorry.”
“Why are you sorry? None of that was your fault.”
“I shouldn’t have-” You sniff and shake your head. “I shouldn’t have brought you. I had hoped they would act differently. I hoped they would finally be accepting, but I knew. I knew they were going to give you the cold shoulder tonight. I knew my mom was going to act like that.”
You wipe at your face. You’re rolling your eyes, and Taeyong isn’t sure if it’s at yourself or your family.
He reaches out to rub your shoulder, waiting for you to calm down a bit more before he speaks. “It’s not your fault your family acts like that. Nothing you did, especially not dating a guy, deserves that kind of treatment.”
“But I knew they were going to do something like that, and I still forced you to come along.”
“You didn’t force me to do anything.” Taeyong turns to you and takes your hand in his. “I willingly came along.”
You lean your head back, sighing deeply. “I’m still sorry.”
Taeyong pats your shoulder. He kisses your knuckles softly. “I’m just upset we couldn’t get dessert. Those cookies looked pretty good.”
You start smiling halfway through his statement, and you’re laughing by the end. He smiles with you.
“It’s not your fault. And if you ever want to go back, even after I saw how they were acting, I’ll be happy to join you.”
You breathe out and shake your head. “That’s not going to happen any time soon.”

*10043567901;1102033149001. PLANET DYVLONY*
The White walk, as they call it on DYVLONY, supposedly should be one of the most beautiful days in a person’s life. That of course depends on if you find someone to spend it together with. Wedding. A wedding ceremony of different kind, that’s what it is.
Today you were supposed to walk the distance hand in hand with Ten, but instead you found yourself knocked out and only later awake in a different place. You know the place though, this is where Detective Ten interrogates his criminals, and right now you had a feeling, you will be tortured the same way.
-You really are something, - a voice spoke but you couldn’t make out a silhouette yet, - I wanted to see you for myself, and I am very disappointed in Ten. His taste is not as I had imagined. Just tell me, how you did it?
You couldn’t speak yet either, so the voice continued.
-Ah, I wish it was me, you know, - she sighed, you understood now, it was a woman, and somehow her voice seemed too familiar. – I too know how to make a man happy, and before you, he was always satisfied. Did he do it to you? Did he tie you up here with these chains while he fucked you raw?
She pointed to the chains coming from the ceiling and laughed, waiting for your reaction.
-Did he cum inside you, or on your face, hun? – she bit her lip, - you know what he loves about woman is the way we beg, how we get on our knees for him. How I would lick the tip and swirl my tongue around his dick, he loved it when I squirted, he would take me on that table after, one dick in my ass while the other worked in my cunt. Ah, remembering it makes me want to sit on his face, and ride his tongue, he ate your pussy, didn’t he? Dirty bitch, you loved it, didn’t you?
You watched her more closely, but still couldn’t place a name to a face. You definitely had not seen her before. She sat on the table, her hands slowly working downward her trousers.
-Ah, Ten-ah, - she slipped her hand in her pants, a moan slipped passed her lips, while she touched herself, closing her eyes, she whispered, - so wet and ready…
Her moans filled the room, the wet squelching noise was there too, she was occupied with her own thoughts, while you tried to make sense out of it all, drifting away many moons ago.
*
-This is different, - Ten spoke behind you, while you ran towards the water at GYPE beach.
-It’s fun, Ten! – you giggled, dragging him along.
-No, - he sighed, - it is not, there is more fun things that I would rather do with you…
You turned around to face him, he had that smile on his face, when he was thinking of something dirty.
-Hey, - you shouted, - I know you, you pervert!
Ten grabbed you by your waist and tickled your sides, while you were down in the sand laughing your head off. His face somehow ended in between your breasts and Ten out of habit did a motor-boat joke, while you playfully smacked him on his head.
-Not here, Ten, we are in public, - you said.
-So what? – he got back at you, - I could take you here, and fuck all the consequences…
In his eyes you could see the truth behind his words. His smile was there again to tease you.
-I might give you something in return for taking me to the beach again, - you said, bartering.
-And what would that be, - he smiled, - remember, it must be so… so good to tempt me enough, yeah?
-Hmm, - you giggled, - how about…
You leaned closer and whispered in his ear.
-I could let you do to me whatever you like.
Ten bit his inner cheek.
-Very tempting, - you saw how his eyes changed, he was a predator, and you were his prey. He devoured you with his eyes, and later he would certainly devour your body, he leaned in to whisper back at you, his hand slightly touching your butt, - how about I play a little…?
You understood the meaning straight away, he fancied trying anal with you, and would slowly move you towards the idea every time you had sex. It started with his fingers playing with your butt, slowly turning into butt plugs, his taste for you was insatiable. Once you even proposed trying strap-on to work on him, which he turned down for “unknown reasons”, and you left it at that, not asking anything else.
-Maybe… - you said and ran towards the water, Ten had confused look on his face but he still chased after you, picking you up, bringing you towards water himself, - nooo, Ten! Not with clothes!!!
His face lit up at your words, and you made a mental note to rephrase all that you say.
-Not like that, Ten, I don’t want our clothing to be soaked, - earning a little pout from him, Ten let you back on your feet.
-Alarm, alarm! – Ten’s phone went off, and he stepped away from you.
-Detective Ten speaking, - on the other side he was greeted with Xiao Dejun from high court.
-Can we speak? – Ten whispered “give me a minute” and walked further away, while you sat down to wait a bit for him.
-Yes, I am listening.
On the other side was heard a sigh, and then a long pause.
-What’s up? – Ten said, - Is it a new case?
Silence.
-You alright over there? – Ten continued talking, - come on, tell me what’s up.  Go on, tell me…
He was really dragging the words out of his friend’s mouth. Xiao on the other end was scrunching up his nose thinking of the best possible way to tell what was on his mind.
-It’s Anna, - he said, - she’s pregnant.
Ten would not believe the words he just heard. His face was dumbfounded, eyebrow arched, lips pursed together.
-I don’t understand, - Ten stated.
-Anna is pregnant with my child…
-What? How? Is it even… like how? – Ten abruptly stopped.
-I know, - Xiao spoke, - it just happened, and I am confused, but we are expecting, and I thought I let you know… I mean, this means you gotta wrap it up, can’t let the ninja in with no gear…
Xiao let in a pause.
-You know, it is ok, she feels fine, we already went to see the doctor, so we are fine, - Ten still couldn’t form a sentence. – it’s a lot to take in, I mean, you are a half-breed, how… uhm, can I ask this?
No answer from Ten’s side of the phone, and Xiao continued.
-Ten? You there? I don’t know, like, I mean, your mom… how did she get pregnant, how did they know?
Ten breathed in, putting his hand against his waist.
-My mom?
-Yeah, you know, with your dad, maybe there is something you have to know… before, like in advance…?
-I have no idea, man, honest… - Ten said, letting the information sink in.
“Was this even possible?” he thought to himself, turning around he saw you by the beach. Your hair was let down your back, the dress you wore reminded him of summertime, he saw children passing by, could you get pregnant?
Ten minutes later you were both in car, driving towards where Ten’s parents live. The trip to the beach was cancelled, but you hoped it was just postponed.
-Ten you look worried, - you said softly, - is everything alright?
He didn’t respond, instead, he jumped out of the car when you stopped at his parents. Like a gentleman he was, he opened the door for you and unbuckled your seat belt, taking you by your hand.
-Hello, wasn’t expecting to see you today? – his father greeted you both by the door.
-Can Y/N get pregnant?
His father was dumbstruck to say the least.
-Excuse me? – his father said.
-Excuse me? – you said the same time as his dad.
His father opened the door wider for you both to walk in.
-Honey, can you come downstairs, we have visitors…
His mom came down the stairs, seeing you and Ten she smiled.
-Do you want me to make anything to eat?
-No, love, come join us, - Ten’s father lead you into living room, where you sat down, you and Ten on one side and his parents on the other.
-Y/N, sweety, how are you doing?
-I am… - you started, - confused…
Ten stared at his father. His mother looked equally confused as you.
-What is going on? I am sure whatever this is, we can talk it through. – she stated.
-Ten it’s not that simple, - Ten’s father spoke.
-But it is possible?
-Me and your mother went through quite a bit to have you, so yes and no, but it is not that simple.
-What is going on, Ten? – his mother asked.
-Magistrate from high court called me, his human partner is pregnant…
You turned to Ten mouthing “what?”. Ten didn’t respond.
-I suppose the younger generation is different, - his father referred turning to you, - since technology seems to be more up to date, I assume, some things have changed in that department. Me and your mother used DYVLONY females’ hormones as well as perfect timing with her periodical cycle.
-So, it is possible?
His father nodded. Ten looked over at you.
-You are getting pregnant, - “I will stuff you full of my sperm”, didn’t leave his mouth, not to disgust his parents, and then he walked off.
-What? – you looked at his parents, facepalming yourself on the way, standing up and running after Ten, - TEN!!!
*
-Giselle? – you spoke softly.
She stopped straight away and stared at you.
-How do you know my name? – she took her hand out from her panties, - how the fuck do you know my name?
You were silent. She slapped you. Thank god she hit you with her clean hand.
-You called Ten, I remember your voice, it said on the screen, Giselle is calling, - you stated, and another slap reached you.
-I want him back, - Giselle said, - I WANT HIM!
She shouted straight in your face, grabbing your collar.
-But he doesn’t want you, - another slap on your face. It was the truth, though, Ten had made it clear with her, he had mentioned his partners before to you, not their names, but it made sense now.
Who else would kidnap you on your wedding day, right? But… did she know?
-Listen here you dirty whore, - she literally spat the words out, - I will do whatever it takes to ride his cock again, and no cunt of yours will stop me.
You laughed, receiving another slap.
-Something funny?
-Not really, - you said, - I admire your stupidity.
-Who? Me? Ha, ha, - Giselle straightened herself up, then you realized her height. She was tall and good looking for sure, it was clear, even to you. So why did Ten want you? All the insecurities were coming back, seeping through the pores of your skin.
You watched Giselle walk back to the table, wiping her hands in her shirt.
-Ten used to say, he cannot get enough of my nectar, - she smiled, remembering fond memories of nights with him. Sweating on the same table where she sat on now. She took a remote controller, you remembered it from the last time you were here. – tell me, who are you, and I might let you go, but… if I do, you can never come back here, come back to Ten I mean. You will get out of here and never return, right?
If she would understand that you are a different species, what would happen? She would kill you; she could do whatever just to get back at Ten, and if she let’s you go, is leaving Ten what you truly desire?
NO.
You… you loved Ten, with all your heart. Doesn’t matter that you only realized it now.
-Let us play, - Giselle whispered and pressed a button. Sharp stinging feeling reached your back, tears were flowing down your face, you held back a scream. Pain. So much pain.
*
Mornings with Ten was something else. Tangled together in the bed sheets after sweet love making, or even after a quickie before dinner. He would press kisses to your back, holding you against his own body, holding your hand. How he kissed your lips when you were eye to eye. He would let his fingers through your hair.
-I am serious about the baby, Y/N, - he said.
-Ten, listen, your father said it would be complicated thing to do.
-So what? I would want a baby from you, - he said back, caressing your cheek in sweet manner, your eyes travelled elsewhere. – what is it? Tell me, Y/N, come now, what’s up?
You bit your lip.
-Where I come from, but its not that important, - you lowered your voice to whisper, - I am not saying I want that but... I somehow feel like I…
Ten stared at you. He was trying to encourage you to speak to him, he leaned in to kiss you again.
-We should, - you didn’t look him in the eyes, - we should get married… - you finally managed to say.
Ten didn’t say a word. For his family the wedding happened only a few years after Ten was born. He remembers the day as well, even when he was around five years old. It was a simple ceremony, that included walk from chapel to the engaged couples new home (or the same one where they lived), while wearing white clothing, making wows in front of a priest, and signing some papers.
-You want that? – Ten asked.
-I… - you breathed in, - like I said, we don’t have to.
-But I am asking you if you want that.
You nodded. Somehow it made you feel shy. You were to accept Ten as your future husband, father of your children, if you would be blessed, a partner for life.
-Yeah, let’s do that, - Ten finally said.
-You are serious? – you looked at him with that “spark” in your eyes, that Ten had noticed you have when being excited for something. He nodded, leaning in to kiss your lips again. – hmm, are you saying that because you want a baby…? - you teased him.
-I want to fill you up so badly, you have no idea, - he said.
-I am pretty sure I have a clue by now, - you giggled.
-Are you sore? – he asked when getting up.
-Mmmh, - you nodded. All of the sudden you were on your back, with your legs spread opened. -Ten what are you…?
His lips kissed your inner thighs, you were trying not to cringe. Only after Ten licked up a strip between your folds, you breathed in sharply, your body was still sensitive from previous orgasms. Ten licked up everything, your essence with his cum, diving his tongue inside of your walls from time to time, to gather more of whatever he could get.
-I have an obsession, - he spoke softly. You looked up, propping yourself on your elbows. – I don’t know why, but I love seeing how my sperm drips out from you, I don’t know why… it turns me on so much, - with that he dove back in while you moaned out loud. Ten held your hips down to stop you from moving.
-I want your belly swollen with my child, Y/N, - his lips attacked your clit again, circular motion yet again bringing your body pleasurable pain and stinging. One finger eased itself inside you, your pussy clutching around it, while he massaged the spongy spot on your vaginal walls, with more and more motions with his finger, you were getting closer bit by bit. You could almost taste the mind-blowing feeling.
Ten added another finger, and another, now lost in making you come, moving his hands faster, latching on your abused bundle of nerves, sucking, till you swallowed your moans and came with a force so strong, it knocked the air out of your lungs. He thrusted more of his fingers while riding out your orgasm, when you started to open your eyes again, he was looming over you.
-Just like this, - he whispered kissing you. You could taste yourself on his lips. – I am ready to have family with you.
*
-Nnngghghhghhg, - you were holding it in, you needed to hold on, Ten probably was on his way to finding you, you just had to hold on a bit longer, he was a detective after all.
-Scream, bitch, - Giselle laughed over your pained expressions.
At that, the doors on your right opened, Detective Ten running in full S.W.A.T gear on him, gun in his hand. He was accompanied with other officers and a … priest?!
-Drop the remote and stand away from the girl, - Ten announced in a low voice.
-I don’t want to, you know, - Giselle poked her tongue in her cheek, - this bitch needs to die first.
She grabbed a hold of your throat choking you, pushing you more onto the needles in your back. Ten was acting fast, and soon Giselle was knocked down on her belly, her face pressed at the floor. Ten turned around to let his partner tie Giselle up, while he helped you. Once of the chair, you were taken to his car, soon in the hospital, Ten’s father by your side in the emergency room.
-She will be alright, you know, - his police partner said, Ten was pulling on his hair, pushing his fingers through them from nervousness.
After a couple of hours, Ten was greeted by his dad, who came to see him.
-She is ok, Ten, she just needs some rest, she got scared more than she got hurt, she is tough you know, - he leaned in, whispering, - humans tend to be like that…
His father put his hand on Ten’s shoulder, tapping on it lightly, unexpectedly, Ten’s hands reached around his father’s shoulders in a hug. He was crying. His father didn’t say anything, he let his son cry.
From the corner of Ten’s eyes, he spotted the priest. The priest who was supposed to lead the ceremony of White. Ten stepped away from his father, wiping his tears away.
-Sorry, - he apologized, priest came closer.
-I am sorry to disturb, - he smiled and walked closer, - I am sure you are quite shook at this time, but we should arrange another time for your ceremony, if you could take a look. We are busy at this time of year, so, it would be better to know… even approximate date will do.
-Thank you, pastor Kun, yes, let’s re-arrange.
They sat down on the chairs not too far away, Kun passed Ten paperwork, which he signed, sighing.
-About the date, I don’t know, really, - he whispered, - maybe in two weeks?
-Alright, - Kun said smiling, - I will write you down for Thursday in two weeks, if by any chance something changes, let me know, yeah?
Ten nodded, pastor Kun got up and walked away. Ten noticed a red strike on Kun’s neck, not too red to be a fresh scratch, but something else.
“What could that be?”
Later on, the nurses were trying to keep Ten out from your room, long story short- they failed. Ten was by your bed, holding your hand, kissing it, waiting for you to wake up.
-I’m ok, you know, - you whispered, and Ten got up.
-Do you need anything? – he asked, you nodded a “no”.
-Really Ten, I am doing good, the doctor says so, you can go home…
-No, - was his answer, short and simple.
-Give me a kiss? – you asked, and he replied with a simple smooch over your lips. – that’s not a kiss, Ten, - you laughed, encouraging him, pulling him closer to you. Your lips touched, and you deepened the kiss when Ten wanted to pull away.
-I am truly sorry for what she did to you Y/N, - Ten said between the kisses, - I won’t let anyone hurt you ever again.
-I know, - you simply stated, - do not worry that much.
Ten sat back down on the chair. He looked lost.
-That bad huh, - you whispered.
-You don’t know how much I love you, - he stated, - I fucking love you so much, I cannot imagine my life without you in it, - Ten sighed, - I love you, Y/N.
-I love you too, - his lips crashed on yours again, - now go home and get some rest.
-Will do, - you could see the struggle, he didn’t want to leave you, but you mouthed a “good night” and he finally slipped through the door.
*
-I do.
-I do, - a quiet giggle left your lips after saying your wows.
-I pronounce you husband and wife, you can kiss your beloved now, - pastor Kun said, and Ten leaned in to capture your lips in a kiss that really sealed your marriage.
You started your walk then. Hand in hand, while looking at each other from time to time. Ten was smiling, and you were happy, some moments he let go of your hand just to hold you by your waist, or grab on your bottom, biting his lip in the process.
You took his hand in yours again and continued your walk.
DYVLONY people you met, greeted you with smiles on their faces and congratulations were in order, some kids even treated you with candies. Tens’ mom and dad disappeared after a couple of minutes and you walked alone.
Giselle was quiet in a prison cell, she heard that you were meant to marry Ten, her hate was a venom, but she realized the truth, which was indeed what you told her – Ten does not want you. She had to swallow that and move on.
Behind you, a bit further down, Xiao Dejun was walking hand in hand with Anna. Her baby bump was now visible, and Xiao’s hands kept massaging her belly with his other hand, he was wearing a smile that would not fade away.
It felt right at that moment.
Everything was where it should be.
Your walk was ending, a couple more minutes and you would reach your home. Ten squeezed your hand a bit tighter, taking it up to his mouth, kissing your knuckles. Him wearing white was a sin. You were ready to jump the guy once the house was reached.
Ten unlocked the doors, stepping in first, closing the door behind you both, leading you up to your shared bedroom. Once sat down, you made your way to sit on his lap.
-What’s going on now? – Ten asked surprised.
-Hmm, I was thinking, - you started.
-About what?
You were formulating a good answer, before kissing his lips, your hands around his neck.
-Fuck me Ten, - you spoke loudly, ready for everything, - I want your baby.
-What?
-Take me like you wanted to all this time, when you first wanted to impregnate me, - your voice was bold, you were sure of this.
-Fine, but there is no opting out now, do you understand, we are now married, so really you are mine…? – you nodded, Ten was serious, (behind of his serious face was actually a massive dork, who really wanted to fill you up).
-Yes, I am yours, but you are also mine, - you stated and kissed him again.
-Alright, - Ten whispered, - take off all your clothes, there won’t be a slow build up, I will give you all, and you will lie on your back and take it…
-What if I really want to ride you? – you said pouting.
-Nope, not today, - he said, - I have gathered a lot of information on this, so I tend to impregnate you, that’s my aim today, so don’t make me wait.
Somehow it made you hot, the heat creeping up your face. He reached to open the drawer, taking out butt plug and lubricant. You were stripping slowly on purpose and Ten clicked his tongue.
-No, - he said, - no teasing, faster, naked on the bed, legs spread opened.
As much as you would have loved to drag it even more, the staring Ten gave you, made you undress as a secretary – fast and effective. On the bed, you could not open your legs, Ten took off his trousers, looking back at you.
-Legs opened, - he said, when you shied away, he got on the bed, grabbed your legs, dragging you down, till you were on your back, your head on the pillows, his hands on your knees, opening your legs, you couldn’t even say a “whoop” from the unexpected surprise. Without any hesitation, his lips went straight for your core, tongue delving right inside your tight hole. Out of reflex your legs wanted to close, but Ten’s grip stopped you from doing so. He only stopped to lick up your pussy lips, latch on your clitoris, getting you worked up quickly.
He stopped, sitting back on his heels, taking the butt plug, lubricating it.
-Lift yourself up a bit, - he ordered, his two fingers now covered in lube, prodding at your ass hole. When you lifted yourself up, he eased a butt plug inside your ass without any stopping, you choked on a moan, and Ten let you back down. He was watching you, starting from your eyes to your lips, lower to your boobs, as his both hands worked on his cocks.
-You wanna be a good girl? – he offered, you slowly nodded, - touch your nipples for me, massage your breasts, imagine me doing that to you and do it.
To lead him on, you playfully bit your lip, your palms touching your breasts, Ten swallowed, he wanted to eat you whole, your breathing got a bit more rushed, he himself was struggling not to attack you like a man starved.
-You make me crazy, - Ten bit his lip, he was hard now, both dicks ready to enter you, to fuck you into oblivion. Only then you noticed a cock ring and some object you had never seen before.
You watched him place a cock ring on the thickest of his counterparts, and carefully placing a rubbery object (looked like a thinner version of pencil) inside his urethra.
-What is that? – you asked, Ten scrunched up his nose enjoying the feeling.
-It is called a urethral vibrator, I am using it to post pone my ejaculation, because today you are getting what you bargained for… - he leaned in, making space between your legs, kissing your stomach first, then going higher, enjoying how responsive you were to his touch. Attacking your breasts with his lips and hands, your moans led him on even more. Twisting one of your nipples between his fingers earned a yelp from you, as you tried to suppress the feeling of screaming out loud.
-I thought you said there will be no slow build up, - you giggled, a kiss on your lips stopped you from teasing Ten, turning this into serious matter. Kiss was passionate, his tongue exploring your mouth, his lower body rutting against yours. Tens’ hand reached down, aligning his cock with your entrance as he pushed in, you both holding your breaths until he was settled snug inside of you.
-Ahhh, - you moaned, Ten slowly starting up a rhythm, your legs wrapping around his hips. Ten was kissing your neck, moaning in your ear, licking up your chin before entering your mouth with his tongue first. It was filthy, but at this moment, you couldn’t care less.
With Ten by your side, having a child, bringing him/her into this world did not seem like a bad idea, your biological clock was ticking after all, and you loved Ten, the walk of White proved that, not only to you yourself, but to other people living on this planet.
Push after a push, Ten’s cock head repeatedly hit your cervix, with each thrust your body arching from the bed, whimpers leaving your lips. Your hands were roaming his back, your walls clenching down on his dick, sucking him in deeper.
-Ah, I love it when you do that, - Ten moaned out, he changed your position, your legs were now pressed against his shoulders, - cannot let nothing to spill, - he inclined.
This angle allowed him to reach deeper spots within you, that had you crying out like never before, Ten felt his own climax building up, but he intended to make you come first. His hand reached for his other cock, tapping it on your clitoris, then returning back to the rhythmic thrusting, his other counterpart brushing past your clit.
Your core was tightening, it was getting harder for Ten to move, and you climaxed moaning out Ten’s name. your body sending you in a frenzy of aftershocks, core clenching feverously around Ten’s member. His lips found yours as he continued, finally spilling his seed in your body, white, hot fluid filled you up, but Ten didn’t stop, instead he made sure his other cock had enough friction, before he would put it to work.
Your senses were overwhelmed, you nearly missed that Ten’s hand grabbed a hold of yours, gathering the slick from your entrance, to provide his other cock with it generously, then putting your hand around it, fisting his cock, setting in a pleasant movement. His other cock was still providing you with overstimulation inside of you, your moans mixed with Ten’s grunting was all you heard, felt like it even echoed in your head.
-I’m close, - he stated, stopping your hand, he removed the ring and took out the urethral vibrator, swapping over his dicks. The thicker one was now being pushed inside you, your body instinctively moved back, but Ten held you, pushing you back onto him. Your head fell back, your body twisting, your legs were against his shoulders again, and soon Ten was coming, coaxing another orgasm from you, your walls were pulsating, pushing Ten out together with the mixed liquids. Ten quickly grabbed a pillow from behind, putting it under your but, your legs back in the air.
-Cannot waste any, - he said, still catching his breath. He found your lips again. – how do you feel?
-Tired, - you whispered, - you made me very tired, - you laughed.
-Ha, - he laughed back, - this is nothing, we going to do this every day now…
The look on your face dropped.
-Every day?
-Every day, 24/7, 24 hours daily, - he warned kissing you again, - you know what it means now…
-Mmh? – you questioned, he got down to be eye level with your core, seeing how your juices were dripping, he was fast to lick them up, kissing his way up, your stomach, kissing it for a longer time, then going up to your breasts and to your lips again.
-I know you are pregnant…- he said, and you bit your lip. – you have been since before Giselle took you.
You bit the inside of your cheek.
-How did you know? – you asked.
-If it wouldn’t be for you being so tight down there, I would have no clue, but really my father told me when you were in hospital.
-What?
-Yes, so I know, - he whispered.
-Are you happy? – you asked.
Ten nodded and kissed you again.
-But that does not mean I won’t do what I promised, Y/N, twenty-four seven in this bed, - his body crushed yours, your legs wrapping around him, his head a top of your breasts. – thank you.
-For what?
-For giving me all of you…
-All for love Ten, - you whispered, your hand touching his hair in peaceful manner.
-All for love…

TW: Thoughts of suicide)
***
"You know what?" Sam grabbed the muzzle of the gun and held it steady against his forehead. "Do it! Pull the trigger!" Even with the gun pointed right between his eyes, Sam refused to back down. He refused to give this man with the cold, dead eyes hiding behind a mask the satisfaction of having scared him. Riley would call him a dumbass and smack him upside the head. But Riley wasn't here anymore, was he? He was gone forever. So what was the point of living now?
The killer's dark blue eyes widened behind his mask. He looked like he was contemplating his next move. But then he pressed the barrel even harder against his forehead, and Sam knew he was a goner now.
He thought about mom and dad, and Sarah, and how hurt they would be. But they would live. It was better to get his body in a coffin than to get the shell of his former self back. Sam wasn't sure how long he would have survived without the love of his life, anyway.
There was a click that caused Sam to close his eyes. But the shot never came.
"What are you--" Before Sam could finish his sentence, the man knocked him out with the butt of the gun, causing him to fall back on the bed. The last thing he remembered was a voice saying, "Mine," before he blacked out.
***
Sam’s head throbbed when he opened his eyes. Shit. Did he have a hangover? He looked around and found himself in a strange place. When he tried sitting up on the bed, he realized one of his wrists was handcuffed to the railing of the bed. Then it all came back to him. The hospital. The masked killer. The gun.
“You’re awake.”
Sam startled at the strange voice, and he looked towards the kitchenette to find a man standing there. How had he not seen him earlier? The man could camouflage himself into the surroundings. Then Sam realized it was the same man who had a gun pointed at his head earlier.
“Wh- who are you?” Sam asked, “Where am I?”
The man stepped away from the counter and towards the bed, his boots making a loud sound against the hardwood floor. Sam tried not to wince as the man got closer. He sat down at the edge of the bed and just stared at Sam. Sam tried to move back on the bed but it was so small, he could only go so far. The man looked young. Younger than Sam. His face had a 5 o’clock shadow, long dark brown hair, and he had his lips pursed into a thin line.
The man still said nothing and pointed at Sam’s arm. Sam looked at where he was pointing and realized it was the tattoo on his wrist.
“What? This?” Sam asked, confused. He usually kept the mark hidden by wearing a cuff, but they must have taken it off at the hospital. He didn’t enjoy looking at the damn thing.. Riley was his true soulmate and no one else. Especially not some stranger named James Bucky Barnes, who Sam had never even seen before.
“Who is he?” the man asked.
“My guess is as good as yours, man,” Sam replied. “Why are you so interested in the name, anyway?”
The man ran his fingers through his long hair and grabbed onto his head. “I know that name. But c- can’t remember.”
Sam gulped. So that’s what this was about? The man didn’t kill him because of his soulmate mark? This just kept getting weirder and weirder.
“Bucky…” the man mumbled to himself. “I know him…” The man started hitting his head with his hands suddenly while cursing “Stupid, stupid, stupid.”
“Hey, hey, hey--” Sam reached out with his untied hand and stopped him by grabbing the wrist of his flesh arm. Oh yeah, the man had a flesh arm and a metal one.
The man seemed shaken at being touched, but he didn’t pull his wrist out of Sam’s grip.
“Don’t do that,” Sam chastised him. “I’m sure you’re not stupid.”
The man stared back at him with puppy dog eyes and for a second, Sam forgot they sent him to kill him.
“Why is it so important for you to know who my soulmate is?” Sam asked.
The man said nothing. Just stared at Sam for a few seconds, like he was contemplating something. But then, to Sam’s surprise, he took off his leather jacket and tossed it aside. He extended his arm towards Sam, and Sam’s eyes widened and his heart skipped a beat. He absentmindedly reached out to brush his fingers over the inked letters on the inside of the man’s forearm. It was his own name. Samuel Thomas Wilson.
What the hell? This— this killer was his soulmate? What kinda sick cosmic joke was this?
“This is you…” the man pointed between his arm and Sam. “... right?”
It would be easy to say no. To antagonize the man. Maybe even provoke him to kill him. But his treacherous mouth instead said, “Yes, it’s me.”
“But that’s not me,” the man said, pointing at Sam’s arm. “I am the Winter Soldier.”
“Well, I’m sure that’s just your codename, buddy--”
“NO!” The man— The Winter Soldier— No James— yelled, startling Sam. “I am the Winter Soldier.” He repeated himself.
Sam put out his hand in front of him to placate the man again. “Okay, okay, you’re the Winter Soldier.” He adopted a different technique. “Then who is James Bucky Barnes?”
The man shrugged, looking like a kid again. “We have to find out.”
“What do you mean ‘we’? I can’t stay here,” Sam said, futilely pulling at his handcuffed wrist.
The Winter Soldier grabbed Sam’s free wrist with his metal hand, causing Sam to let out a pained sound, but the Winter Soldier didn’t seem to care. “No! You are staying here. We will find James Bucky Barnes together.”
“HE’S YOU, YOU DUMBASS!” Sam yelled.
That caused the Winter Soldier to let go of his wrist and stare at him in shock.
“It’s you…” Sam repeated himself. “I don’t know what happened to you, but I am guessing you’re suffering from amnesia. But if my name is on your forearm, then you are James Bucky Barnes.”
“NO!” the man screamed, getting up from the bed. He punched the nearest wall hard, leaving a huge dent.
Sam was used to explosive personalities, so the man’s tantrum didn’t scare him.
“Fine. You don’t wanna believe me then don’t. Just let me go!”
“No!” The Winter Soldier turned to glare at him. “You are staying here. And we are looking for James Bucky Barnes together.” He repeated himself.
“And what happens when we find him?” Sam scoffed,
“I will kill him.” The Winter Soldier stated.
“What?”
“Because you are my soulmate. Mine.”

happy birthday! are you still taking prompts? something sam and cas discussing the whole casifer thing maybe?
if you wanted something more like. productive and healthy, I am sorry. again this is roughly part of touch verse (but all you need to know is that they're in an established relationship).
tw for references to sexual assault (Toni Bevell) and slight unreality in the aftermath of the incarceration in 12x09

-
The basement door had shut, the sound echoing around the walls, and Sam had been left with his family -  Dean, and Cas, and the not-ghost of his mother, which – all of it was a story someone was going to need to tell at some point soon. But with just them, the British Men of Letters gone, he could slouch. Sag down. Not worry so much about letting the last couple of days show.
Cas said, “Sam,” soft and sad. “Let me heal you.” Then he stepped towards him, one hand reaching out and- and-
He’d been keeping his distance. They’d both been keeping their distance, or at least it had seemed like they had been. Maybe it hadn’t been enough time to tell, between Cas being Cas again and the ambush in the bunker. Because Cas was Cas again, Sam knew that, had known that, had held onto that like a lifeline and-
Cas reached out to heal him and he flinched. Froze. Sucked in a breath and held it because otherwise he was going to hyperventilate. Cas’ hand paused too, kept moving only when Sam nodded to him. A rush of grace healing him, then Cas stepped back, and Sam slowly let the breath out. Pushed himself upright, and Cas withdrew further, going to Dean. Sam flexed his newly whole foot against the floor and didn’t look at them.
There was a conversation happening. Mary - Mom? He didn’t know what to call her - was watching him like a hawk.
He needed to be outside. Out of this basement. The Brits had to be gone by now. He could hope they were gone. Mind made up, he strode to the steps - maybe Dean said his name, but his ears were ringing a little - and then up and out.
Daylight washed over him. Something in him relaxed, at the feel of sun on his skin again. It felt real. Real real, not the daydream of a bed, somehow both cloying and ephemeral. This was just the sun, warm on his skin, a reminder that the world was still there. He shut his eyes, breathed deep, listened to boots clomping up the steps behind him.
He already knew it was Dean, but hearing his voice say, “Sam,” before his hand clapped onto Sam’s shoulder still helped. “Ready to go home?”
“Yeah,” Sam said, opening his eyes again. Mary was with Dean, and Cas was behind them, eyes searching.
“I’ll meet you there,” he said, nodding towards them, and he walked away first.
Dean, thankfully, kept going like nothing was awkward. Jerked his head towards the road. “Car’s this way. You good on bare feet or you want me to go get it?”
If Dean went for the car, Mom would probably stay with him. Sam couldn’t tell if he desperately wanted that or wanted to shy away, so he said, “I’m good to walk.” It would be good to move, anyway.
Dean kept up the chatter all the way to the Impala. Part clear relief, part recognising Sam wasn’t up to talking yet, and the silence needed to be filled.
“We’re about six hours out from the bunker,” he said, as they finally approached. “So, you’ve got time to catch a nap if you want to stretch out in the back. Unless you want the passenger side?”
Sam shook his head. “I’ll take the back.”
He did fall asleep there, listening to Dean and Mom talk in the front, an odd parody of his childhood. Like he’d slipped somehow slightly to the left, some world just adjacent to the one he’d grown up in. Shuddered awake as the car pulled into the bunker garage, took a moment to reassess. Still Dean driving, Mary in the passenger seat. Body still whole, after being healed. Feet still bare, clothes still crusted with sweat and blood. He sat up carefully, rubbed a hand over his face to clear away some of the grogginess.
“Hey, Sleeping Beauty, you’re up,” Dean said. “Did they feed you in there? I can make you some food.”
They hadn’t, but Sam’s stomach rolled at the idea of eating. “I think I want to shower first,” he said.
“Yeah, dude, you reek,” Dean said. “Go clean up, I’ll get started on food.”
He hadn’t been planning on going back out but showered, in clean clothes, he thought Dean and Mary deserved that. Proof of life. Put on a good show, eat something, take part in the conversation. Something about the way Mom kept glancing between them twinged something - he thought about when he’d come back. Before he’d remembered, a year and half of blank space, Dean and Bobby both watching him with a weight he couldn’t parse.
It was something to focus on, and he took her Dad’s journal, and tried to say the right thing, and when she hugged him he almost broke.
So when he got back to his room and Cas was there, he was already fractured.
It wasn’t an intimate tableau. Cas was just standing by his dresser, the door to the room open, waiting. He swallowed hard, shook off the arrested momentum, finished walking inside.
“Hey, Cas.”
“Sam,” Cas said. Grave, and soft, and concerned. His hands twitched like he wanted to reach out. Sam looked away, felt tension fill his shoulders. “Are you alright?”
The least Sam owed him was honesty. “No,” he said, “but I don’t think that’s anything you could help with. Right now.”
Cas’ face only got graver, and Sam hadn’t really meant it like that. That it was Cas in particular that couldn’t help, but he couldn’t quite grasp the words to explain.
“I understand,” Cas said. “If that changes…”
“I’ll let you know,” Sam said, not sure how he’d be able to tell. “It’s not- you’re not- I’ll be fine, this was just-“ He shook his head. Just physical, but it hadn’t been. Not Cas, but it was. He didn’t even have thought, he was down to sentence fragments and a hollowed out feeling in his chest.
“I want to help,” Cas said.
“You-“ said Sam, “He-“ and he didn’t have to specify who he was talking about.
Cas looked wrecked. Looked ashamed, and part of Sam thought, good, and part of him wanted to bury his face in Cas’ chest and never let go, and all of him felt wrong.
He took a deep breath.
“When she started,” he said, “When she had me in that basement.”
Cas said, “Sam,” and Sam help up a hand to stop him.
“I told her. I told her I’d been tortured by the Devil himself,” his voice was more even that he expected it to be. “So, what did she think she could do to me?”
Cas’ hands twitched again. He didn’t reach out. Sam couldn’t tell if he was grateful or not.
“And I was right, y’know?” He shook his head. “She couldn’t do to me in two days what he could in two minutes. And what he could do with your face.” It looked like Cas was going to speak again so he shook his head again, cutting him off. “And I get it, Cas, I do, I know why you said yes. I just-“ His voice cracked finally. Throat clicked shut.
“I understand,” Cas said. “I- if you want space?”
Sam nodded, guilty at the helpless look on Cas, face. “I think space would be a good idea.”
Then Cas was gone too, and he was alone.
It hadn’t been a lie. Not really. Lucifer - the name tasted like stomach acid even when he was just thinking it - could take him to pieces far more efficiently than Toni Bevell could. And Sam couldn’t stop seeing it, the tilt of his head, the line of his jaw, the curve of his smile on Cas’ mouth when he’d reached into Sam’s chest, ready to close that fist and detonate. It was there all the time in the corner of his vision but-
But.
The door to his room shut behind Cas and even as he breathed a sigh of relief, her voice whispered, Was it good for you? into his ear.
His skin crawled. He felt dirty but he’d already showered, and the comfort would be nice but he couldn’t take another body in his bed.
Sam broke through the trees, saw Cas, and didn’t think before he went crashing into him. It had- they hadn’t- It had still been tense. Before Dean and he had gotten arrested. Sam had still been holding his distance, a little, Cas hadn’t been staying in his room like he used to, it had been…
There had been an equilibrium, if one that pleased neither of them.
But that was before the- the time. Sam couldn’t put a word to how much. The cell door had shut behind him and he’d taken in the concrete walls, the buzzing fluorescent lights, the quiet and- He didn’t need to count days. Days would pass with him or without him. He’d eaten when they gave him food, and shut his eyes when he wanted to sleep, and done push ups when he felt like he was going to crawl out of his skin.
Tried to remember some of his college classes to pass the time. Twelve years ago, give or take a couple hundred. He didn’t remember much.
But they were out, and then in a forest that felt hyper-real, where the sky felt too far away, where Sam’s focus had to narrow down on getting out. Blood in his veins, breath in his lungs, cold steel in his hands. Cas appearing out of the trees like a dream.
Not a dream, Sam went crashing into him and he was solid, and warm, and holding Sam as tight as Sam was holding him.
A breath caught in his lungs. He somehow found strength to hold even tighter. Saw Mom over Cas’ shoulder. Hugged her too.
(It was bittersweet, it was probably going to be the last time, he didn’t want to explain it, Dean thought it was going to be him but Sam wasn’t letting him do that, it was going to be Sam, it was, it was, until it wasn’t, until Mom, until Cas’ blade plunged through Billie’s chest, and the broken deal felt bitter but Sam-
Sam was alive.)
The bunker was a relief and a cage. Familiar, and closed in, and concrete walls again. The buzz of the lights.
It didn’t smell like the cell had. Sam breathed in.
Cas was following him again. Trailing where Sam went, watching him like he was going to be tested on it. Like he didn’t know what to say. Neither did Sam.
He tried to ignore it. Showered, got into his own clothes again. Found Cas in his room, sitting on the chair beside his desk. It wasn’t unexpected. Something about it felt almost dreamlike. The forest, after the cell, that had been a shock to the senses. Too much, too different. The bunker, that was familiar. Even if he hadn’t been there in- in some amount of days. Definitely weeks. Maybe months. His mind shied away from the idea of asking. It wasn’t a dream though, he reminded himself.
“Sam?” He’d maybe been standing in the doorway too long. Cas looked concerned. “Should I go?”
He shook himself. “You don’t have to.” Moved further in to sit down on his bed. “Did you want to talk?”
Not the right thing to say - he saw Cas’ expression dim. “Yes, I- I’m so sorry, I couldn’t find you.”
“How could you?” Sam said, attempting a smile. “You were the one who hid us from angels in the first place.”
“I’m still sorry,” Cas said. “You were alone.”
“It’s not the worst thing I’ve been,” Sam said, which was true even if neither of them wanted it to be.
There was still something urgent in Cas’ eyes, so Sam lightly patted the bed next to him. Cas shifted to the bed. Sam felt the mattress shift underneath him.
A voice in his head whispered, was it good for you? and he tried to push it away.
Took Cas’ hand in one of his, but didn’t touch him otherwise. Didn’t look at him. He heard Cas let out a long exhale at the contact. Dry skin to dry skin, the one thing that didn’t feel like a dream.
“I let you down again,” Cas said, quietly, and Sam shut his eyes.
He wanted to say which time? He wanted to tell him it didn’t matter. Wanted to turn and pull Cas into his chest and hold him. He couldn’t quite get himself to move.
Cas said, “Sam?” again, and Sam realised he was gripping Cas’ hand so hard he could feel the bones grinding.
He let go. Folded his hands in his lap. “Sorry.”
Cas touched his arm. “You need rest.”
Sam nodded, but didn’t say anything. With his eyes shut the lights buzzing sounded like the cell.
“Why did you kill Billie?” he asked.
“Because I’m not losing you,” Cas said. “And I’m not losing Dean, and I’m not letting you lose your mother. None of you deserve that.”
“Yes we do,” Sam said. “All of us have cheated death. We need to stop at some point. I don’t- I don’t want anyone else to die for me.”
Cas’ fingers brushed his face and he flinched. Opened his eyes. Cas had frozen, hand still raised. The tips of his fingers were wet. Sam realised he was crying.
“I couldn’t let you,” Cas said. “I- After Lucifer, we never…” He shook his head. “You were gone, and I couldn’t find you. I wasn’t going to lose you again right after I found you. I didn’t want you to go through any more pain.”
“I know I should say thank you,” Sam said.
“You don’t have to,” Cas said. “I know you don’t want to.”
“I miss you, Cas,” he said. “I miss you all the time. I want us to work through this, I do, just-“ He broke off. The buzz of the lights was giving him a headache.
“Sam,” Cas said. “Sam, I would do anything-”
“Yeah,” Sam said, wetly. “Yeah, I know.”
That was always the problem. Someone who would do anything. Anything smelt like Dean’s blood soaking into carpet, felt like hellfire, felt like grace crackling through his hands. Sam didn’t want anything.
“I’m gonna get some coffee,” he said, after a valiant attempt at composing himself.
“Sam, you should sleep,” Cas said.
“Yeah,” he said. “I’m gonna get some coffee.”

I saw the amazing fic about Diavolo meeting his mc’s strict religious parents. Could you please do that for Levi too?
I got it. I realized that i will probably pull most of these "sources" from the bible since thats the easiest religious text to find these demons in.
Warning: religion
Defend Me ( LEVIATHAN X GN!READER )
Tumblr media
He felt uncomfortable from the get go. Meeting people in general completely throws him off and his anxiety went through the roof when you told him you wanted him to meet your parents. Your parents! How could he leave a good impression on them? “Hi I’m a demon. I play video games most of the time and have social anxiety. Achievements? Well I’m also the Grand Admiral of Hell’s Navy, but don’t worry! I treat them with the utmost respect because truthfully I don’t even know how I landed with them in the first place, but here we are, and I don’t want to lose them.” He can’t say that! He would sound like an absolute fool! They will think he’s way too weird for you the minute he walks in, anyway. He screams gamer-otaku-with-no-life, for goodness sakes! You can’t tell me that’s what they would want for you!
That’s why he pushed it off. For months he made up some ridiculous excuse of why he couldn’t go or why you should stay home with him. He even once went as far as to say your parents were sick and got Satan involved to actually get them sick! Nothing bad… just the seasonal flu, but still. Can’t you see that he really doesn’t want this? Well, you can see it, but you just don’t really seem to care. This is important to you and thus he, reluctantly, agreed to participate. He agreed to let Hell rise up and to try and be kind to your parents. Now.. as much as you wanted to believe him, you actually had your doubts. You knew your dad was going to tear him a new one and your mom was probably going to make fun of him too… but… you had faith in him that he could take the less.. Harmful jokes and hopefully not get too aggravated with the more rude ones… you prayed that, since he isn’t Satan, he won’t take too much offense to them.
“Ready?” Levi shook his head, looking at the bouquet of flowers in his hand, “are these okay? That’s what humans do right? They bring flowers for the mom? I saw it in a show once…” You laughed softly; he saw everything in a show once and thinks that this is how the world works. Well, he wasn’t completely wrong and it just shows that he can be a gentleman. “Yeah.. they’re fine. Okay, here we go.” You rang the doorbell, waiting for your mom to open the door, but it was actually your dad. “Dadd---!” “Hold on sweetie, who is this?” Your dad immediately stepped out and eyed Levi up and down, which made him more than uncomfortable, but he just clenched the flowers in his hand and forced himself to smile, “My name is Levi, sir. I’m their b-boyfriend.” You cringed silently. He was doing so good! But that stutter.
Your dad eyed him once more, his eyes landing on the flowers in Levi’s hand, “ah. Listen, kid, I don’t know what kind of game you’re playing but those flowers are not going to make up for the absolute wreck you are and under no circumstance are you coming into my house with that cosplay jacket on.” You gasped loudly, slapping your dad on the arm, “dad! Those flowers are for mom and it’s not a cosplay jacket, it’s just a jacket!” You shake your head, taking Levi’s hand and dragging him inside, but Levi was still too focused on the fact that he just got made fun of not once, but twice, in the same sentence. “Mom! Come meet my boyfriend, and please be nicer than dad.” Levi could hear laughter from a room nearby and was soon greeted by a grinning woman; at least she looked friendly.
“Don’t be too hard on your dad. You know he’s just looking out for you.” Levi gained some confidence back, smiling softly as he held out the flowers, “These are for you, ma’am. My name is Levi.” Your mom gave him the same up and down look your dad gave him and he suddenly felt uncomfortable again, but your mom took the flowers and smiled at him anyway. “Thank you, that’s very kind of you. Oh! And these are so pretty! Come. Sit down. (Y/N), have you offered him some water? Oh dear, where are your manners?!” He could see you throw your arms up in frustration as you tell your mom that you literally just got here, and walked off with her. He suddenly felt so alone, kind of weird too, in a strange house, but he decided to enter the room your mom just came out of and noticed it was the living room. He also noticed that it was turned to some kind of christian music channel and a quick glance around told him that Jesus was watching him from every angle, literally, “so. Besides banging my child, what else do you do?” Levi almost choked, quickly turning around as a deep red flushed over his cheeks, “I-I don’t… ‘bang’ your child, sir. We uhm… we’re far from that step.”
“And that better stay that way, kid, unless you want to become friendly with my gun collection.” Levi shook his head, trying to avoid eye contact, “no, sir. I’m great.” Your dad scoffed, calling back out to your mother and you, “what’s taking you two so long? Another minute with this softie and he might turn into a puddle.” You rolled your eyes as you walked up with glasses of water that you sat down on the coffee table, “leave him alone, dad, he’s a good guy.” “yeah and apparently made out of cotton candy. He can barely stand straight, and you want to date that?” Levi felt bad; of course he knew you could do so much better than him. Hell, he’s told you that before, it’s just that you don’t listen! “He’s a good boy? Yeah I can see that. His name is Levi for goodness sakes; what’s that short for anyway? Seriously sweety, you could do so much better than that thing over there, but I suppose being taken away from a good home and thrown into that useless exchange program does kill a few brain cells.”
Oh no. Oh no, see what we’re not going to do is insult you. “What did you just say?” Your dad’s gaze flicked over to Levi’s, grinning smugly at him, “what? Got your panties in a twist, kiddo? Let me say it again, yo--” “No. No, no, no! See what we’re NOT going to do is bash on your own child!” Levi gets up, obviously getting angry, “You can throw my name around all you want, which, by the way, is Leviathan in full, and yes, I’m exactly that sea monster mentioned in that God awful fanfiction you call the word of the Lord. They!” He angrily points at you, feeling his blood boil beneath his skin, “are the best thing that has ever happened to you, considering you couldn’t get your cock up anymore if you wanted to with that elephant of a body you call ‘attractive’. I might not be the smartest, hell, I’m not even attractive, but I know for a fact that your child is the smartest, most considerable being that has ever graced this terrible excuse of a planet and I am NOT, “ he clenches his teeth, turning into his demon form and lashing out with his tail as he pulls your father up by the collar, “letting a measly excuse for a human being tear that beautiful soul down.” He roughly pushes your father back down, hissing at him as storms flashed behind his eyes.
“Levi..---!” He grabbed your hand roughly, dragging you out of there and onto the street, not caring that people are seeing him as something other than human, other than normal. “Levi!” But he only shook his head, watching the portal open and dragging you through it. “I’m sorry, (Y/N), but I cannot just sit there and let him talk bad about you! What kind of father is that? I mean don’t get me wrong, I had my fair share of shitty parents, but at least my father didn’t think I was a complete waste of space.” He was breathing heavily, his body still tensed as you reached out for him, kind of scared but also slightly… turned on. “Levi… you’re so sweet.” you laughed softly, wrapping yourself around him and nuzzling into his neck, feeling him calm down and no doubt, feel a little embarrassed. “I didn’t think you’d stand up to him, but… It’s nice to know that you have my back.”
He frowned, wrapping his arms and tail around you tightly, “Of course I have your back. No one gets to speak so terribly about you, not even your father… I knew there was a reason why I hate socializing. No offense but I can guarantee that man isn’t going to the pretty clouds in the sky, no matter how much he pretends to be a saint.” You shook your head, still laughing softly, “no offense taken… he was always a little… harsh. I wish you would’ve paid attention to his face. He was so shocked to see you, not only defend me and yourself, but also just being able to pick him up…. It was worth the little bit of hurt.” He shook his head, kissing down your shoulder, “You should never ever have to deal with that. I mean it. You’re the smartest and most considerable. Don’t ever let anyone tell you different.” “Well… don’t let anyone tell you any different either.”
“Now you’re just asking too much from a shut-in otaku like me…”

It's ILI! If it isn't hard for you to write it... "Can I buy you a coffee?" Kelso to Brooke!
For context: Eric, Kelso, Fez, and Hyde were sitting in a smokeless circle. It's Kelso's first visit since the New Year over 6 months before, he's holding Betsy in his arms and he looks miserable.
"Can you believe that?!" Kelso said indignantly "Just when I was about to ask her to try again, I see her going out for lunch with this doctor guy! That is so unfair!"
"Kelso, you dumped Brooke to be with my sister" Hyde said, annoyed "I don't think you get a saying on her dating life anymore"
"But... I love her, and I really want to be with her" Kelso replied "I never felt this way about a chick before, man. Not with Angie, not with Laurie, not even with Jackie. It's like... she makes me forget about all the awful things in the world, and I want to be around her all the time"
"Yep, he's in love alright" Eric said
"Yeah, you’re screwed” Hyde said
“Do you think I should fight for her?” Kelso asked, his hands absentmindedly stroking Betsy’s hair
"Kelso, I love you, but if I hear you talking about Brooke again, I am going to leave" Fez said seriously
"Well, I'm sorry Fez, but you never had your heart broken before, so I'm gonna keep on talking!"
Fez glared at him "I see. So you think Fez never had his heart broken before? Well, Fez was dumped by Jackie after dating her for two, glorious days. Then Fez saw Nina at the salon, and she was getting ready for her wedding day. And then, Fez saw Rhonda at the Hub, looking glorious. Fez asked her out, and she said no. Fez’s heart was broken so many times, that it’s barely a heart anymore! It’s just dust in between Fez’s lungs!”
Eric, Hyde, and Kelso stared at him like he went nuts.
"Fez, man, if you want to make people feel bad for you, then you have to quit with this third person crap" Hyde said after a few minutes of silence "It makes me wanna punch you in the face"
“You...” Fez said, glaring at Hyde “This is all your fault! I’m leaving, good day!”
“But Fez...” Kelso said, wondering what caused his outburst. But before he could ask, Fez walked out of the basement, slamming the door on his way out.
“What the hell was that? He didn’t even say ‘I said good day’ like he normally does. He only does that when he’s extra pissed”
“Fez thinks Jackie broke up with him because of Hyde” Eric said
“Which makes no sense, because Jackie made pretty fucking clear that we’re ‘just friends’ now” Hyde muttered dejectedly
“Wait, since when are you and Jackie friends?” Kelso asked, looking confused “When I left, she hated your guts!”
“Hyde apologized to her for being the world’s biggest jackass and asked her for another chance,” Eric explained “She said no, because y’know, Jackie’s smart, and...”
“You’re supposed to be on my side!” Hyde hissed at him, punching his arm
“Dude, you married a stripper!” Eric said, rubbing his now sore arm
“And I’m paying for it, Forman! I already apologize to Jackie every damn day, I’m not going to apologize to you too!”
“Wait, you and Jackie are actually friends?” Kelso asked curiously, and Hyde nodded "Aw man, I feel so left out! I haven’t seen you guys for like, 6 months! Did I miss a lot? What else happened when I was gone?"
“Well...” Eric started, clearing his throat “Jackie rejected Hyde’s multiple attempts to get her back and she’s now making him pay for all the crappy things he did by letting him be around her, without actually being with her; Donna and I are currently trying to learn how to do our own laundry so we won’t have to come here every weekend; a new candy shop opened right next to the salon, but Fez got kicked out of there after hitting on the owner’s wife; my mom’s trying to force my dad to go jogging with her, and Jackie got a few modeling gigs so she’s been unbearable to be around”
“That’s it?” Kelso asked, looking at both os his friends, who nodded at him “I haven’t seen you guys in six months, and that’s all you got?! Wow, I really am the glue that holds this group together”
“Yeah, you keep telling yourself that, Kelso” Hyde said, rolling his eyes
“Well...” Kelso started, but Eric interrupted him
"Good talk guys, now I'll go see if Donna's up for some nookie time" Eric said with a small smile
"But we... We're in a circle!" Kelso argued
"Kelso, it's not a real circle if we can't... you know. Use the thing that makes the circle fun!"
“Nuh-uh! We’re still sitting on a circle, and you haven’t told me what to do about my whole thing with Brooke!”
“Yeah...” Eric said, standing up and moving to grab his coat on top of the record player “Good luck with that, pal”
Kelso stared increduosly at the door Eric just slammed closed. How dare him abandon his oldest friend during one of the hardest times of his life for sex?!
"You know what? You're a good friend, Hyde" Kelso said "Thanks for not abandoning me while I'm going through a crisis, now...”
"Actually..." Hyde said, tapping his thighs as he stood up from his chair "I'm off to meet Jackie. See ya, Kelso. Betsy"
Hyde ruffled the toddler’s hair before walking towards the basement door, and Betsy giggled, clapping her little hands.
“Ackie!” She said, and Hyde smiled at her.
"Wait, you're meeting with Jackie?!" Kelso asked "But you said she just wanted to be your friend!"
"I don’t know man, I think she’s opening up to me," Hyde said, grinning from ear to ear, "I’m just waiting for the right moment to ask her out again, and something tells me that’s going to be soon”
“But Hyde...” Kelso said, but Hyde left before he could finish his sentence.
Kelso sighed and looked at the toddler sitting on his lap, she was laughing, and he had a feeling that maybe, she was laughing at his misfortune.
“Dada, burn!” Betsy said
Yup, she was definitely laughing at him.
**
Kelso adjusted the baby carrier on his chest, trying to make sure Betsy wouldn’t fall off. When he was sure his girl was safe, he walked up the stairs of Point Place’s library.
Brooke asked him to drive both her and Betsy to Point Place earlier today, claiming she wanted to meet with a few of her old girlfriends, and Kelso said yes right away. He’s been dying to spend more time with her, and the commute from Chicago to Point Place was three hours long.
She said that after she finished brunch with her friends, she’d be at the library, and that’s where Kelso hoped she was right now.
After a long talk with Mrs. Forman (since his friends couldn’t care less about his problem), he decided he’s just going to confess his feelings to Brooke. At this point, he didn’t care if she was dating this doctor guy, he just needs her to know because he feels like he’s going to burst every time he’s near her.
He found her sitting in the more isolated corner of the library, reading a thick book.
He took a deep breath, but before he could say anything, Betsy announced their presence.
“Mama!” The toddler said, squirming as she tried to escape the baby carrier.
Brooke immediately looked up and smiled, making Kelso weak on his knees, She has a beautiful smile.
“Hey baby!” She said, putting her book down and unclasping the baby carrier, taking the toddler in her arms and kissing the top of her head “How was your day with your dad?”
“Dada sad” Betsy said, and Kelso’s eyes widened in shock.
“Why’s your dad sad, Betsy?”
“He wuvs mama” The toddler answered as she played with the collar of her mother’s coat. Brooke’s eyes immediately met with his, and he felt like he was about to have a heart attack.
“What?” Brooke said
“Dada wuvs mama” Betsy repeated, and Kelso licked his extremely dry lips, trying to think of something to say.
“Michael, what is she talking about?” Brooke asked, and Kelso sighed. This is not how he was planning on telling her.
“Uhh... Nothing?”
“Michael...”
“Fine! She may have overheard my conversation with the guys, where I told them... I told them I loved you and I that was sad because you’re dating that doctor”
Brooke’s mouth hang open in shock “What?!”
“I’m sorry, okay?” Kelso said “No, actually, I’m not sorry, Brooke. It’s how I feel and you should know”
Brooke took a deep breath “What makes you think I’m dating Christopher, Michael?”
“I saw you two talking, and hanging out, and...”
“He’s my friend, and he’s gay, you moron!” Brooke said “In fact, he has a crush on Fez since he came to visit the last time”
“He has a crush on Fez?” Kelso laughed “Oh, burn!”
“Michael!”
“Okay, okay, sorry!” Kelso said “I really thought you two were going out, I mean, you went out for lunch, and...”
“Two friends can have lunch together” Brooke argued, sending a pointed look at Kelso, and dammit, she looks pissed. Kelso just hoped she was pissed about him making assumptions, not about him loving her.
"So, since you’re not actually seeing anyone... Can I buy you a coffee?" Kelso asked, smiling softly at her. She kept glaring at him for a few seconds, before smiling back.
“Well...” Brooke said, bouncing the toddler in her arms “I just had brunch with the girls, so... Maybe some ice cream?”
Kelso’s smile widened.
“Awesome!” He yelled enthusiascally, and some people shushed him in response.
Brooke laughed and took his hand “Let’s go”
