The whole pod meets world episode a few weeks back about the abuser i listened to and believed for the most part. I did feel uncomfortable tho knowing Kati Morton’s background and her association with Sh*ne but as a long term fan I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. As soon as I heard Rider speak, however, I lost respect for him yet I still wanted to continue listening even after that episode was over. But now that everything has fully come to light with the documentary, both Rider’s and Will’s letters, among Danielle’s husband’s own allegations and how she shut his victims down, it’s safe to say I’ll stop listening to the pod altogether. I do believe both Rider and Will were manipulated and groomed but the fact that they knew something about the young victim and how they literally never addressed it until now because of the release of the documentary shows all I needed to see. I don’t believe they’re bad people but then again, I’m just a fan. It makes me sad how much time and money i spent on these people, all based under false pretenses, but this is not about me it’s about bringing awareness to how people of power protect and defend abusers and how we as consumers should stop funding and supporting such people as well.
