Yours and his mouth were gaping at the sounds you both were listening to. At one point, he even pushed you further into the couch so that he could get closer to you and hear better, sharing a singular earphone with him. You increased the volume when you realized you were about to hear him talk.

Cause then he would find out that you used to read smut about other members: Seonghwa, Yunho, Jongho... even Wooyoung.

With the door to his room shut, you gently sat him down on his bed and got to your knees. You quickly worked on his sweatpants.

Fanfiction Writer Apperation Post!

Ayo all Merp here! I hope everyone is having a great time whatever time zone you got. I'm a simply derpy ass artist that likes to draw stuff that the Internet has shown me! That includes lovely fanfiction stories I tend to read a lot about. Which is why this post is here to bring a HUGE appreciation for someone in the SMG4 community more from the SMG34 squad! My great friend and a badass from many projects featuring their own series such as "Next Step With You!", @shygirl4991 !

We all have known them from many spots that they are part of like the one they are doing with @lizaluvsthis in "Brewing Romance", "The Chains of a Fragile Soul" with @b-r-i-n-g-x , and "Spilt Into Three's/Six Splits For Four" with the artwork done by @alianarepasa !

They have also done some cool group collab with lots of people, bringing out the artworks each group puts out such as "Coffee Prince and The Frog" (collab with Liz and Aly), and "Shadow Vision" (Bringx, Liz and Aly)!

They never fail to be inspired by many other people that sometimes have ideas for our favorite gays but either don't have the time to do them or they want to do it but don't know how to put into words! Some of these beautiful ideas that came to life thanks to Shay's amazing writing skills are "Just A Dream", "Trade For You" ideas inspired by @therabbitdemon , and "Death Of SMG3" requested by @anartisticalniche !

I had the honor of making the cover art for their cute fluffy "Doll Confessions" fic they made a while back collabing with Bringx's adorable GMod photos she did! Even though what got me into their stories was through "Brewing Romance", there's another story that got me into them and had me always checking fanfiction sites to see if they made anything new and that's one of their many solo projects "Azure Potion!"

It's always fun making art covers for them or draw out characters they've created over time with the plethora of stories done by our lovely writer! I highly recommend checking out their other solo stories such as "Forklift Date", "Mistletoe Wars", "True Colors", "Trapped In a Bleakly Winter", and "A Shot of SMG34"!

There's definitely more stories they've written for these lovey gays but it's gonna take me a while to put them on here lol. Nonetheless while we artist have a blast in creating art for all your favorite fanfictions, please don't forget to show some love to the brains behind the whole thing! Without them, we wouldn't be able to enjoy making all the amazing art to show our love and appreciation for ALL of their hard work! Good news for everyone interested in the story, devastating news for me, who thought she was gonna write a short oneshot:

The Clever One (link to the excerpts I already posted on tumblr) decided to turn into a multi-chapter fic, as I was possessed to write like 2.1k on the season 2 finale alone today. Which is not what's gonna happen next, the story starts with the season 1 finale. Which means that all of season 2 has to happen in between.

I have however also decided to not delay it so the first chapter will be posted on AO3 and FFNet tomorrow. So, look out for some Pack Mom and Alpha Mate Stiles coming to a fanfiction site near you tomorrow! ;)

And to sweeten this announcement, have a tiny bit from what I wrote today at work, because I like being a tease.

Stiles' voice was a growl, his eyes hard. Even as he held his aching ribs and hunched over to avoid more pain, he somehow managed to be a threatening presence. Chris looked at him startled, his eyes wandering to Boyd and Erica, still strung up.

“Your pups.”

Rolling his eyes, Stiles got to work. “You're clever, Chris. Figure it out. Your father did too, after all. That's why he took me.”

A pause, and a sharp intake of breath. “You're the Alpha Mate.”

“Ding, ding, ding,” Stiles' voice was dripping with fake cheer and sarcasm. “Now, help me get my pups down, or get the fuck out, I don't care.”

He was mildly pleased when Chris actually came to help him. With some difficulty, Boyd and Erica were freed, both wrapping themselves around Stiles near immediately, nuzzling his neck from either side to scent their Alpha. Stiles returned the gesture, as well as he could at the moment. Everything ached and the two werewolves attached to him were solid walls that limited his movement.

“Get out,” Chris ordered, voice low.

As Erica and Boyd flanked him from either side to help him, Stiles threw one last look at Chris. “Thank you. I'll not forget this.”

There was a tension in the air, both Chris and Stiles knowing how much these words meant. He was the Alpha Mate and he admitted a debt to the hunter. Stiles knew that was a big deal, but he also knew Chris deserved it. Knowing his mate's tendency for burning everything to the ground on his path for revenge – a bit ironic, all things considered – Peter may very well try to kill all remaining Argents. And Stiles had just handed Chris a get out of being murdered free card.

Stiles returned his attention to his betas. “C'mon, kids, time to get home.”

A sarcastic eyeroll from Erica that lost a lot of its effect due to her tear-smeared make-up and slowly healing bruises. “Sure thing, mom. I'm sure dad will be delighted.”

That actually made Stiles wince a little. Yeah, Peter was not going to be happy about this. Gerard had taken him to punish Peter, to send a warning to Peter. Ideally, Stiles would go home, nurse his wounds on his own and never tell anyone about this. Alas, there were two very worried and protective betas with him right now and there was just no way they weren't gonna go tattle to their Alpha. Might as well get it over with then.

I am genuinely disappointed and extremely sad about a phenomenon I as writer experienced - and I am seeing other writers experiencing it, I bet other creators are experiencing this also.

I'm inside fanfiction communities since my teen years, I've always been mindful about what I commented, as many people had been to me and my work. I don't remember when I last saw hate comments, the rule of "don't like don't read" had always been very clear, as what classifies as criticism and whatnot, until now.

I have answered hate underlined comments, I moved on, though I hadn't posted anything new due to personal issues, but I, as an author, as an adult, as someone who wants to see boundaries and respect within the community, I need to address this wave of shady hate.

I wouldn't dream of going to anyone posts, fanart, fic or work to fight or to call them names, block and tags exists to make us and our dash safe. Where is this audacity coming from? You can have your opinions, you can disagree with what I do as I can disagree to what you do, but what happened to minding our own business? Where is it????

Should I say it's tiktok's fault? Or social media in general? Maybe...

So, for the sake of our sanities, our hobbies, and works, let's call this behavior out. Tumblr, AO3, any other alternative social media site/app isn't TikTok, isn't Twitter, and it's not your mother's house for you to throw shit on the wall.

RESPECT OTHERS, TREAT THEM AS YOU WANT TO BE TREATED, and the most important thing: DON'T LIKE, DON'T INTERACT.

You can rage all you like inside your social circle, in your social media, without @ no one else, but have some sense!

Should I have done it? Yo! What up, I'm DZtheNerd, just a dumbass who has no voice but 1,000 ideas at any given time. I like to reblog lots of stuff but also work on my own stuff as well. My favorite and most successful project is the SCP: Horror Movie Files but I'm working on other stuff hopefully less fanfiction based in the future.

I occasionally dwell on politics as I think it's not something you should avoid regardless of how depressing it can be. But I also like to have hope that things can get better if we're all willing to raise awareness and put some effort into improving things.

But anyways my main deal is that I'm just a nerd who never shuts up about what their thinking about. If you want to be more personal currently go by They/Them and my sexuality... Don't know! I mean Girls are Hot and so are Men but can't always decide which is better. Though honestly most of the time I lean towards liking girls but whatever, I guess.

I have to say this on anon, because as I'm sure you know, there is no statute of limitations on murder. I didn't pull the trigger personally, but I was involved enough that they could still force me to take a plea deal to testify against the others.

Now you probably know a few years back on this website, there was some drama with a user who kept spamming everyone about "christian terrorism" something something. His name was Carlos Albuquerque and he was a bit unhinged to be fair. And some people accused him of being a pedophile because he wrote awful sexual fanfiction of children's cartoon characters.

Another user on this site was using the name "klubbhehead" at that time, but later changed it to r4cs0. This guy had a reputation as an "anti-SJW" blogger and was minimally popular with a certain circle of people, but his blog is honestly unfunny shitposts and minor drama, so he was never really going to amount to anything. But he is obsessed with being "Tumblr famous" as he calls it. He was desperate to be famous, and then he heard about a prison inmate called James Fairbanks, who became famous for hunting and murdering pedophiles. Soooo… r4cs0 put 2 and 2 together. Tumblr had a problem with an annoying pedophile and he wanted to be famous… Two birds with one stone, right?

It's been years now and I know the authorities will never find the body. r4cs0 never really did become famous in reality, even though he brags about being "Tumblr famous" on his blog. But the whole thing hasn't set right with me and still bothers my conscience. Did we really just murder an internet troll because r4cs0 wanted to indulge his eCeleb fantasy? Are we all pretending his posts are funny and that he's a cool guy, just because we secretly know there is a very different reason why we can't forget about him? Does that basically make him the OJ Simpson of Tumblr?

Anyway, you can do whatever you want with this knowledge but just keep in mind that shit like this does happen on this site and sometimes people literally die for things they post on the internet. Stay safe!

The Road To Nowhere / Yes, Coach / Stay / The Bones of You / You go your way, I'll go your way too -- all AFTG fics. it's funny, i feel like i'm more 'known' (for want of a better word) for trc/pynch fics and i've certainly written more of them, but almost all of my aftg fics are considerably more popular if we're going by kudos.

Do you respond to comments? i used to reply to every single one without fail but it started to make me really really anxious at a time when i was writing a multi-chapter fic, because some comments really don't warrant a reply, but i got into a mindset of 'well if i reply to one comment i have to reply to all of them' and then i realised that i don't, actually! also i'm allergic to notifications so as soon as i read them i mark them as read, which makes my brain happier but also means i'm more likely to forget to reply. i always reply if someone asks a question, and i do try to at least reply to the first chunk of comments i get on a new fic though!

What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? probably burning bright right 'til the end

What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? head over heels immediately comes to mind. also kick start my rock and rollin' heart. but tbh almost all my fics have happy endings, that's just how i roll. (also a lot of them are short oneshots that are less about narrative and more about vibes, so they don't all necessarily feel like they have endings as such!)

Do you get hate on fics? nope, i've been pretty lucky so far!

Do you write smut? i very occasionally write smut-adjacent lmao, but not really

Do you write crossovers? no, they don't really interest me

Have you ever had a fic stolen? i hope not!

Have you ever had a fic translated? yes, one. i've been asked quite a lot as well and my answer is that i'm fine with my fics being translated (with credit obviously) but only if they're being posted on ao3, i don't want them on any other site.

Have you ever co written a fic? nope 

What’s your all time favourite ship? i mean i've definitely written more pynch than anything else, but i ship a lot of things!

What’s a wip you want to finish but doubt you ever will? i don't wanna say that i'll never finish any of the fics i've started in earnest -- if i liked an idea enough that any of it all made it out of my head and onto a page then there's hope for it in the future. i'll get to them when i get to them!

What are your writing strengths? dialogue. it always comes the easiest to me. a lot of my fics start from conversations that popped into my head, then i get to write the situation to get that conversation to happen which is the tricky part!

What are your writing weaknesses? everything else! idk, world-building i guess? i don't think i'm that great at descriptions. i can do all the internal character feelings and emotions and stuff, it's just the external that i stuggle with.

Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic? i haven't done it but i'm not like, against it?

First fandom you wrote for? technically lotr before i knew what fanfiction was, and i printed it out lmaoooo. i have no idea what happened to it i think i probably threw it away.

Author Ask Tag

Once more I get to talk about my work due to fellow Scribe @covenscribe (Scribe unity). Read their post here. I'll be answering these questions focusing on my WIP Fleshtown.

what is the main Lesson of your story? And why did you choose it?

Fleshtown has several: cities can turn into abusive hellscape where an individual human doesn't matter, just their flesh and the work one can squeeze out of it. Those that sit at the top of societies like this are parasites (very literally in this story). Kindness is a powerful thing against those affected by it, but eventually violence becomes the only song society can hear.

What did you use as inspiration for your worldbuilding?

General lexical inspirations that affect nearly everything I write in it are: KSBD, SCP, Worm/Otherverse, and inescapably Homestuck.

Though for Fleshtown itself I think I was exposed to a game called Fear and Hunger (very heavy content warning) and the aesthetic of it stuck with me for a while. Then eventually a thought spawned in my head “I haven't written a romance story yet. I should try that in the flesh walls of this awful city I've imagined”.

What is your MC trying to achieve, and what are you, the writer, trying to achieve with them? Do you want to inspire others, teach forgiveness, help readers grow as a person?

Poet arrived at The City on accident and is really just trying to get out. Virus/Prince is trying to get back to the Court of Parasites so to behead the stagnant king. I, meanwhile, am trying to get them to realize that they don't have a home to go to if they did escape; and the eternal torment of this city can only be stopped by those living in it.

As for a lesson taught: violence is the only tool we have to fight tyranny, but by that very same tool we forge the shackles of the next generation uhhh? Healing a community is a worthy and fulfilling thing? idk Fleshtown has a lot of scattered ideas right now.

How many chapters is your story going to have?

Don't know, hopefully more than 1 and less then 100 but we'll see. It's planned to be a Novella right now, but its rough draft isn't done.

Is it fanfiction or original content? Where do you plan to post it?

Original content, and not sure. I imagine I'll post a non-insignificant amount of it on Tumblr/send it to whatever mutual wants to read it. Maybe classicaly publish it, maybe do web serial stuff with it. Really I haven't had any major thoughts/decisions about that nor intend to till it's more finished.

When and why did you start writing?

Way back in intermediate/middle school me and my friends were nerds playing games like runescape. One of my friend made the mistake of showing me the RS roleplaying forum. From there I went on to roleplay from site to site for a while. I only started “writing” in a conventional sense recently. As for why? Because it's fun and I find fullfillment in it.

Do you have any words of engagement for fellow writers of writeblr? What other writers of tumblr do you follow?

Hey! You, yes you. Write whatever you want. Forget that things like rules exist, forget that stories need a flow or need to follow some set chart. Make something without the limits of what is conventionally “good”.

Have to shout out the first Writeblrs that I really interacted with on here @sunset-a-story and @vicstmichael, who's attention and encouragement kept me working on this platform. Also to @squarebracket-trick @iced-ginger-tea for sending me so many asks over the last while. Y'alls small acts really do mean something to me, and always make my days better.
