Beth: *Walks up to Livias room, staring at her* Your Uhm...friend, Daze, is worried about you but he's in high spirits and staying hopeful...
Livia: *Stared at the TV playing cartoons, staying silent*
Deuce: Hey!! *Bangs on the glass* Hey, don't talk to her after what you've done!!!
Beth: We're trying to keep you kids SAFE!
Deuce: YOU KIDNAPPED US!!
Epel: *Comes up to his glass window, banging on it* YEAH, WHAT THE HECK!!
Floyd: This ain't how you keep kids safe, Lady.
Neige: A-Agreed! This is so wrong in so many ways!
Najma: YEAH!! Let us go home!
Beth: Kids, please, if you cooperate with us-
Beth: *Freezes as the lights in Livia's room started flickering*
Deuce: LIV, SHE'S LEAVING!! It's okay!
Epel: *Scowls, things around his room starting to float*
Beth: Alright! Alright....I'm gonna leave, I'll have food and electronics sent to you kids, okay...
Najma: .....Can I have a novel?
Beth: Of course, sweetheart, is there anything else anyone knees
Epel: .....A knife and some apples..
Beth: *Looks at Epel*
Epel: *Glares at her* I like to carve apples into things, can I have it or not.
Deuce: ....I want some gizmos to tinker with
Neige: I'd...like some stuff to see with!
Floyd: .......well..something to distract me would be nice..
Beth: *Smiles* Alright, I will get everything for you all okay
Beth: Livia, would you like anything?
Livia: .........can I have a picture of my family..
Beth: *Nods, sighing in relief* I'll see what I can do
Beth: And...you kids are not prisoners, I'll get you some proper clothes and see what I can do about getting you out of these...cages..
Floyd: *Watches Beth walk away then walks back to his bed, sitting down* What now?
Epel: HAH, No idea but even she saw these rooms as cages..
Neige: *Stares at the others then turns away and sits in a chair*
Livia: Guys, I wanna go home..
Deuce: We know Liv and we're gonna find a way to get that bracelet off you..
Livia: *Stands up and comes to the glass* This room is tight...
Deuce: *Chuckles* Very tight
Livia: *Grabs a book, sitting in a chair*
Deuce: *Walks away from the glass* We gotta get out of here
Najma: Agreed, before we loose our minds..
Epel: Yeah...
~~~~~
Beth: Alright kids, go ahead!
Deuce: WOAH!! *Runs over to a court, finding gym supplies there*
Najma: *Looks through the moves surprised* Wow...
Neige and Epel: *Heads over to the kitchen area, finding snacks there*
Floyd: *Grins dribbling a basketball, playing a round with Deuce*
Beth: Livia, do you not wanna play?
Livia: *Narrows her eyes* ....I wanna go home..
Beth: I know, sweetheart, and I promise you, you'll go home soon...we are just doing some final tests on your spells to figure out which one is what
Beth: Once they're identified, you all can go home and tutors who'll teach you how to cast those spells will visit twice a week
Livia: *Looks at her* Promise...
Beth: I swear on my life, I know I'd be worried sick if someone took my daughter from me, so I will make sure you all go home, safe and sound
Beth: Later we're gonna do some final scans and you go free
Livia: *Nods and hurries away, joining Najma in watching movies*
Beth: *Walks over to a chair and sits down, smiling as she watched the kids*
Floyd: Too slow! *Dodges Deuce and slams the ball into the hoop*
Deuce: Ah, no fair man!!
Neige: *Laughs, eating snacks with Epel, smiling*
Epel: Nice try Deuce!
Najma: *Sits on the ground beside Livia, watching a scary movie and sharing a bowl of popcorn*
Livia: Woah..
Livia and Najma: *Screams when the monster popped out then laughs, smiles on their faces*
Random She-Ra Season 5 Thoughts: THE FINAL RAMBLING
Yep. I finally got all my crazy absurd thoughts about this gay adventure-romance-drama cartoon summarized into one incoherent yet fun to read computer document/article! ...four months after the show itself ended. Oh well, no one’s perfect. Anyways, there are a whole lot more insane observations than ever before, so I had to put it below a link so this thing didn’t back up my blog or any of yours. Hope you enjoy reading through these as much I enjoyed spouting them for no discernible reason other than I felt like it!
-I feel that since is the last season, I ought to talk about an important part of the show that I’ve been putting off: the animation. It’s… okay. It’s definitely smoother than what the original 80’s show and it’s brother series (heheh) looked like, but at the same time it still seems to suffer from similar limitations which causes some distracting moments of stiffness. But other than that, it’s pretty good. It’s no Titmouse or Studio Mir but it looks good and it gets the job done.
         -After all, let’s not forget: “Imperfection is beautiful!”
-Even when things are at their lowest, Adora is a jock with a heart of gold.
-Horde Prime and the Galactic Horde’s aesthetic feels like a mixture of Catholicism, Scientology, Heaven’s Gate, and modern Microsoft, and honestly, that just makes him creepier.
-Speaking of Horde Prime, he didn’t waste any time with destroying Bright Moon. …apparently.
-Furthermore, on the topic of his giant holographic messages, WAS THAT A FREAKING MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE MOVIE REFERENCE?!
-Boy, Glimmer and Catra sure got along quickly! It’s almost like they magically understand each other because they both assumed leadership roles and screwed up big time! …I guess.
         -Either that or this season is going to be a speedrun.
-Wow, the Rebellion sure got used to having a once-thought-dead king as well as a known enemy general/abuser running around their camp awful fast, didn’t they?
-Mara’s got a spaceship, a cyber girlfriend, a magic grandma, a dragon, a tragic backstory, AND a force ghost?! Dang, even in death, the girl’s got it all. No wonder everyone likes her!
-(*me looking at the TV rating at the start of episode*) “Why is language in there? Is there surprise cuss words or something in this season?” (*sees Horde Prime seize control of a clone for the first time*) “HOLY FREAKING SH—oh that’s why.”
-Applause to the crew for making the “dinner with Prime” scene for making a meal between a sparkly princess, a catgirl, and alien cult leader feel even more uncomfortable than it had a right to.
-(*me throughout the season whenever a clone was onscreen*) Is that Hordak? Is that him? Is that him? Is that him right there? Oh it is—oh no wait. … Is that h—
-Extra applause for having Glimmer learn from her grey-area wetwipe phase and refusing to sell out her friends again whilst telling the imperialist cult leader where to stick it.
-I would pay a sizeable portion of my life savings to hear what a Scorpia and Swift Wind duet would sound like.
         -In fact, I’d double it if it was just Scorpia singing.
         -Ah what the heck. I would triple it for an entire She-Ra musical!
-As happy as I am to see to see Entrapta interacting with the other princesses again, I have to say that their big reunion left me with some mixed feelings. Here’s a quick rundown:
         -Entrapta, a grown autistic woman, being led around on a leash by non-neurodivergent teenagers—again: that’s bad.
         -The Princesses confronting Entrapta about joining the Horde: that’s good!
         -The Princesses blaming all their problems with the Horde bots on Entrapta’s actions and her hyper fixations alone: that’s bad.
         -Entrapta explaining herself, admitting that she regrets her mistakes, and getting the Princesses to understand that she thinks and communicates differently, but in spite of that, she really does want help find Glimmer: that’s good!
         -Entrapta never gets to call out the Princesses for how poorly they treated her: that’s bad.
         -Entrapta saves the day and goes to space: that’s good!
         -Scorpia and Entrapta still haven’t interacted even though the former is with the Rebellion in the first place because she went to look for her because she is her best friend: …can I go home now?
-How nice! Michah finally got to shapeshift!
         -And he’s rocking that She-Ra outfit to boot!
-So is Darla a back up of Light Hope or do they just run on the same operating system and have the same voice?
-I could watch an entire season of Adora, Bow, and Entrapta going on space adventure in a rundown ship with their custom-made spacesuits, tbh.
-Is anyone else weirded out that Catra’s younger self looked at her in her flashback(?).
         -Actually what WAS happening there, anyhow?
-(*watching Bow’s spacewalk to save Glimmer*) “Is that a Gravity reference?” asked the man who never saw Gravity.
-Speaking of spacewalks, how did Glimmer survive those precious few seconds in space? Does the teleporter teleport a breathable atmosphere too?
         -Also, Catra, WHY did you think it would be a good idea to teleport Glimmer into space? I know you had a plan and the ship was right there but… Ah, never mind.
-Not that I’m complaining but Glimmer’s apology to the rest of the friend squad for her HORRIBLE plan last season went… surprisingly quickly.
-You know as cool as The Star Siblings are, being a quirky band of space-travelling siblings with cool powers and some trans rep to boot, I only have one small problem with them: weren’t there already Star Sisters on Etheria back in season 1?
         -That doesn’t sound right, but I don’t know enough about Masters of the Universe characters to dispute it.
-Entrapta confirmed pan, objectum, AND horny on main. Dang girl, you’re gonna have fun whether you got Hordak back or not…
-“The Velvet Glove” is both a menacing and stupid name for a decadent overlord’s mothership.
         -Wait, it’s from the 80’s canon? Oh. That kind of explains it, actually.
-Goshdangit, I wanted Catra to face punishment for her crimes, but I didn’t think that would involve going to evil alien conversion therapy!
         -Nor did I want her to die! For a second. Actually, since it obviously wasn’t going to last I was… weirdly okay with that part???
-Horde Prime seems awfully okay with Catradora. I mean he’s still super creepy and manipulative about it, but also oddly progressive for an evil brainwashing cult leader.
-(*Adora transforms into a She-Ra through seer will*) First of all, called it. Second of all, WOAH MAMA now that’s a glow up!
-Wrong Hordak did not have to be a thing, and yet, I’m glad that he is.
-Hordak remembers the LUVD crystal and Entrapta… Hordak remembers Entrap—! It’s happening! Oh my gosh, it’s happening! Everybody stay calm!
-Wow, Entrapta didn’t have to be so forgiving of Catra for everything she’s done to her but she did. Only I’m not sure if that was Entrapta taking the high road or the low road.
         -Or which road the crew took for that matter.
-I remember when I thought those “Chipped AUs” floating around here on tumblr were just something the fans came up with and that chipping people was not an actual despicable thing Prime does in canon. I miss those days.
-I know it’s not the same as before or the original design, but True She-Ra’s designs and powers? I think they slappin’.
-Hooray, Adora and Catra are finally making up! And it only took four and half seasons worth of communication failures, toxic villainous behaviour, and physical violence for Catra to snap out of it!
         -…We can go back to Entrapdak now, right?
-Poor Elberon. First they unknowingly adopt a double agent then get invaded by the Horde and now they’re getting brainwashed and chipped by the Galactic Horde. They might be a cute village, but they got some pretty lousy security.
-You know it’s cute that Micah is doing his best to be friends with Frosta and get back in touch with his dad-side, but look I can’t be the only one worried about how the local King is a less proactive leader than the princesses or the known war criminal/abuser, right?
-“The Perils of Peekablue” or as I like to call it, “You Thought ‘Boys Night Out’ Caught You Emotionally Off-guard? Hah! Watch This.”
-You know I didn’t think Scorpfuma would be a thing aside that one moment of flirting near the end of season 4, but they really pushed for it to be a thing! This is… actually pretty great! Perfuma’s not perfect, and I would have appreciated giving them a little more time to bond and form some real chemistry, but at least she reciprocates Scorpia’s sweetness instead of rebuffing it in increasingly aggressive fashion.
-I’m not sure what’s more concerning: that Mermista set a boat on fire, that it’s worded like she had a fling as part of some experimental phase, or that Sea Hawk is turned on by this.
-Peekablue might not be real, (I think?) but he is one dapper dude! Female-to-male redesigns could learn a thing or two from him.
-It involved them getting stung and seizuring, but that was a heck of a way to reintroduce Double Trouble! I swear I got watching them cycle through their transformations in some sort of physical reaction.
         -Or maybe that was just me worrying about their wellbeing…
-Okay, I get the Chips are huge, and actually rather clever threat, but how do these characters get chipped in the first place? I get there are chipped people who spread the chips throught the population but where do they get those from???
         -Do one of those Horde Prime drones just sneak behind someone, slap a chip on their nape then hand them a whole bagfull and say, “Beep boop beep, Horde Prime’s Light, blah blah blah. Alright have fun, kiddo”?
         -Or is it some sort of Alien: Covenant deal where they’re just floating around and Lord help you if one sticks to you?
-HOLY CRAP THEY ACTUALLY GOT SCORPIA TO SING! AND SHE WAS GREAT!
         -Oh shoot. Guess I owe the crew twice my life savings now…
-Entrapdak might be what got me into this show, but it’s Double Trouble that kept me around, so you can imagine how happy I was to see them make their grand reappearance!
-Conversly, you can imagine my disappointment when they just disappeared until the finale.
         -And on that note: HOW DID YOU GUYS LOSE DOUBLE TROUBLE?!
                  -You forgot to cherish them, didn’t you?
-So, Scorpia sacrifices herself just after finding a new girlfriend and gaining some newfound confidence, Mermista and Sea Hawk are split up,and Double Trouble didn’t join the main cast. Why can’t you just have fun like a normal cartoon, show?
-Gosh, I love me some shifting title cards!
-Is it just me or did they sneak in some more Annihilation references on Krytis?
         (-Said the guy who was too chicken to watch the movie and just read about it and watched a few clips online.)
-(*audibly sighs*) FINE. I guess I like Catradora now. Are you happy now, SPOP Crew? ARE YOU?!
-Hooray, Catra’s got a emotional support animal! And they’re a shapeshifting magic alien cat. Those are the best kind!
-Is it weird that I knew that weird glowing stuff on Krytis was just magic all along, or was it just not hidden very well. Anyways, I like Krytis. I like that we got to see a truly alien world with its own form of magic.
-Plus, we got a logical advancement of the magic versus science subtheme with magic being Horde Prime’s weakness! Neato!
-Getting back on the “which is worse?” wagon for a second, I don’t know what feels less right: that Wrong Hordak’s big revelation and his resolution to free himself and his brothers and friends from Horde Prime’s control is played humorously, or that Real Hordak should be the one having this moment.
-That bit with Castaspella and Shadow Weaver where she tells Casta about Etheria being a living thing with inherent magical property, or whatever, while we got a peaceful shot of some boar creatures sleeping was actually kind of nice. It would have been nicer though if it wasn’t part of a power hungry abuser’s obvious scheme. If only there was a kindly old witch lady character who was in touch with nature and knew just what to say when someone was feeling downOH WAIT.
-Furthermore… Why did Shadow Weaver and Castaspella need to have romantic tension?
-Seriously though, where’s our Madame Razz quota this season? Where’s my supportive magic grandma timelord at, yo?
-Yup, they speedran this season.
-I’m actually really disappointed we didn’t see more of an intergalactic new rebellion rising up to fight Horde Prime’s forces across the universe. Especially if it meant we got to see more Star Sibling action!
-Again, I adore Wrong Hordak but I keep wondering what was keeping the crew from just bringing in Original Flavour Hordak. (You know, aside from teasing us Entrapdak fans and trying to distract us with a loveable new character in the meantime.) I mean he could have done the whole infiltrating the clone squads and tricking them bit, too.
         -Heck, he could have done the wink, too!
-I’d gleefully point out Loo-Kee’s cameo this season but apparently, they already made some several seasons ago. That’s what I get for not rewatching the 80’s show and training my eyes first.
-(*sees Erelandians*) Are those freaking Toads and Toadettes?
-So, what’s keeping them from just hitting Spinerella’s chip again? Besides emotional baggage and gale force winds, I mean.
-Perfuma coming out of a cave scared out of her wits, demanding to know who’s there, clinging to her friends as soon as they come back, and balling her eyes out is a big, BIG mood.
-Frosta absolutely decking Catra in the face was nestled somewhere between cathartic and excessive.
         -Netossa spraying her with a bottle of water on the other hand…
-Oh, so Greyskull was the name of a Rebel Squad! I think. Meh, the important thing is we got an explanation and it still sounds cool.
-Leave it to a couple of dads to make a secret message out of a dad joke.
-You know I made fun of Light Hope for being creepy, but I swear that avatar from the Spire is even creepier. I don’t know if it’s her face—those dang blank eyes, man—or just that it she’s less animated than the real thing, but it just felt… off.
-Aww, Noelle made Netossa’s princess weakness illustrations! So cute!
-Forget episodes that deserves Emmys, Keston John deserves one for voicing Hordak, Horde Prime, all the clones, and several minor villains and giving each and every single one a distinct voice! Where my king’s respect, eh?
-Yes, Catra you had a small disagreement with Hordak. …Over sending his girlfriend and your “friend” to DIE IN A LITERAL LIVING HELL.
         -Sorry, I just had to get that out of my system.
-Why does Perfuma get pressured to get angry and go wild when Entrapta’s the one who’s had it the worst out of all them? Why can’t my gamer girl go berserk, dammit!?
-Okay, but really, how do these fricking chips work??? Are they parasite devices who store Horde Prime’s Baptizing Dew then slowly pump it into their host’s bodies? Do they have their own nervous systems? Are they technorganic? Also, how and why do we need to make these chips are bigger threat then they need to be?
-Horde Prime showing up on Hordak’s throne in grand Killing Joke style and casually throwing shades at his brother’s overblown attempts to impress him is pretty awesome, but it feels strangely underdeveloped. Hordak’s not there to have his hard work insulted and we never got to see Adora have any similar encounter with Hordak here before, so unless you look at it from the perspective of someone who has been here before in the Horde story like Catra it lacks the dramatic weight it should have had.
-Scorpia resisting the chip to save her new friends was pretty great, though.
-I swear, when they got to the scene where Adora and the others figured out that Shadow Weaver was grooming her so she could use her to get to the Heart of Etheria, I was mouthing “You B***H” through the whole thing.
-They really brought back Etherian deep magic just so they had something to make Micah threatening. …okay.
-Okay, the rest of “Failsafe” messed me up, so here’s a rundown on all the other messy thoughts I had while the show ripped my heart and ground it to dog food:
         -Entrapta and Hordak reuniting: Yay!
         -Swift Wind yanking her away before she can get through to him: Boo.
         -Catra encouraging Adora to try and take care of herself for a change: Yay!
         -Adora hurts Catra and she runs away: Boo.
         -Adora finally calling out Shadow Weaver on what an utterly horrible person she is: Yay!
         -Adora resolves to risk sacrificing herself to save the world: Bo—okay, seriously, was all this suffering really necessary, show?
-I know I mentioned in my previous She-Ra random thoughts that I supported Glimmadora, but I am okay with Catradora and Glimbow ending up canon. The only problem I have is how rushed they feel—moreso with Glimbow. With Catradora, the crew had an entire season to make it work again and they took it. Glimbow it feels like they were down to the last few episodes and went, “Oh right, we were gonna do something with these two!” then did their darndest to fit in some chemistry in between all the other stuff going down.
-As ominous as it was, the music where Horde Prime starts hacking Etheria honestly SLAPS.
-Okay, I know everyone is magic or something, but I am legit surprised getting electrocuted in water didn’t kill the heroes right then and there.
-Sea Hawk tries to flirt with his girl even as she’s trying to kill him. Truly, he is a man of taste.
-What do you know, Shadow Weaver can only do good when she’s (canonically!) punch drunk.
-You know a whole lot of this could have been avoided if Holo-Mara was Adora’s mentor instead of Light Hope.
-When I think about it, it was actually really clever to make Horde Prime the final villain for Adora to face: a domineering decadent man who’s been in power forever against a humble emotionally vulnerable compassionate young woman.
         -Not to mention the divide between cult-like oppression and progressive freedom. Or something.
-Holy crap, did the First Ones get a great freaking a Great Old One for a guard dog?!
-So, you guys seriously didn’t bring Angella back to reunite with her family OR mention her all season after the impact her death had on everyone all last season until Glimmer needs a power-up at the last possible minute and then you never bring her up again. That is absolutely a dick move in bird culture.
-Entrapta’s hacker sticker gives me life. Gamer girl gremlin princess forever!
-On the one hand, I’m disappointed that Adora and Catra don’t get to have an awesome couple battle against the security monster and win. On the other hand, Shadow Weaver is finally dead. YAY!
         -With apologies to the writers and especially Lorraine Toussaint. She did splendidly bringing this character to life and even if I hated Shadow Weaver, I adored the effort she put into making her one of the most emotionally complex villains I’ve ever seen.
-Words cannot, will not, and will never describe the pure joy that I experienced when I first saw Hordak’s big scene: standing up to and disowning his tyrant brother, saving Entrapta, declaring his love to her (albeit in a nicely lowkey fashion), and then throwing Horde Prime to his apparent doom Disney style with Entrapta cheering him with sheer glee. GOSH, it was everything I could have hoped for from this season!
         -Now if only they kept the deleted scene where they got a moment to themselves before Prime body-jacked him again like the creepy sonuvabich he is.
-Horde Prime just wouldn’t be a religious villain if he didn’t tell everyone to burn.
         -Bonus points for actually trying to burn the frigging planet.
-Aside from the idea of Adora switching to wearing a She-Ra themed dress everywhere in the future, the future vision was really quite sweet, and seeing Prime step in to ruin it made it all the more impactful.
-Can I just say that it’s absolutely wonderful that the show, for all it’s flaws, said  “**** senseless heroic sacrifices”?
-BREAKING: Lesbian cat finally makes up with her jock ex, has a canon kiss so pure it saves the world!
         -In other news, Catradora fans are still spoiled rotten.
-Wow, look at all those character comebacks they skipped through! Look, there’s the chefs from Dryl, Double Trouble, Huntara, the Horde Trio, Imp, Madame Razz—are you kidding me?!
-Grumbling aside, I actually find the idea of the Horde Trio and Imp getting involved in a G-rated science-fantasy version of the first Hangover movie quite amusing.
-Oh dang, they pulled a Castle in the Sky with the Velvet Glove!
-As nice as it was to see Aodra save Hordak from Horde Prime and destroy the latter through exorcism via sheer compassion, I’m rather disappointed we never got to see She-Ra go full Metal Gear Solid Rising: Revengence on any creepy old cult leaders.
         -Yeah, it would have gone against the “love conquers all” set up, but love takes on many forms, does it not? So, why can it not manifest as cleaving your mortal enemies with extreme prejudice to save your loved ones?
-Furthermore, in addition to Holo-Mara being a better mentor, Hordak raising Adora instead Shadow Weaver could have prevented a lot of similar problems. Maybe. Possibly.
         -Eh whatever, he has a lifetime’s worth of fanfiction to make up for it.
-ENTRAPDAK IS CANON, ALL IS RIGHT WITH THE WORLD.
-And so is Catradora and Glimbow! That’s nice, too.
-Aww, how sweet of them to skip through Catra and Scorpia, and Glimmer and Micah’s big reunions! It’s not like we’ve been waiting forever for this stuff or anything. HahahahAHAHAHDHAHAHFHAFHKSADJHFKAJHDfine.
-And so it all ends with everyone either friends, in love, or both, as heroes decide to make up for it all with a grandiose sequel promising more exciting space adventures we probably won’t see! HOORAY!
-All snarky ranting aside, I actually really enjoyed the finale. It was exciting, heartwarming, and above all it ended on happy, hopeful note without leaving too many frustrating questions unanswered. (*glares with utmost contempt at Voltron and Star vs. The Forces of Evil*)
-You know, this wasn’t bad for a final season, but I think this might have worked better as two seasons. Not in Netflix’s cheap “split a regular 13-episode season in two 6-7 episode long seasons” strategy, but I mean two full seasons with their own storylines leading up to the grand finale:
         -First, one that starts out with Horde Prime’s arrival the downfall of Etheria, focuses on the space adventures, ends with their return to Etheria and gives the characters time to recuperate from season 4.
         -Then, we have one final season that focuses on the Best Friend Squad’s Return to Etheria, Horde Prime’s plan, gives everyone more time to properly reconcile before ¾ of the entire cast gets chipped, sets up a new Rebellion made up of Princess Alliance and former Etherian Horde members, maybe even set up a proper Hordak redemption arc or something, and then our big happy ending.
-On a mostly unrelated note, I also feel that the whole show could have turned out even better if it had been either a dedicated science-fantasy war drama with some levity (like the good Star Wars shows or Avatar: The Last Airbender) or a lighthearted yet empowering slice-of-life action-adventure romcom (i.e. basically a well-made remake of the original show in the style of Adventure Time and Parks and Rec or something).
-My final random thought for this whole thing: we really could have used a triumphant end credits song or something. Aside from obviously recommending Fabulous Secret Powers, I would have also recommended the original 4 Non Blondes “What’s Going On,” a reprise of “Warriors,” Gorillaz’s “We Got the Power,” or (my favourite) Talking Head’s “(Nothing But) Flowers” since the ending scenes remind me of it.
Thanks again to the crew for giving me something to live for and/or complain about!
Now, let’s hope the He-Man reboots do as well...
My favorite series from Mark is probably between Five Nights at Candy's and Spooky's House of Jumpscares. I enjoyed Until Dawn as well. Really, any horror game from Mark is an enjoyable experience. And, of course, who could forget Prop Hunt? A real classic. What is your favorite series from Mark? I'm glad that it is going better for you. Here's another question: what is your favorite cartoon? I loved Gravity Falls and Over the Garden Wall, and the Danny Phantom fandom is always a joy. ~S
Trying a new thing with a ‘read more’ so my rambling doesn’t fill up people’s dashes too much!
Okay woah… Either you did send this just now or Tumblr has been messing with me. It kept telling me I had messages but nothing was showing up when I clicked my inbox, so I assumed it was a glitch. Unless it was just hiding your ask?? If that’s the case then WOW am I sorry.
Also yes Prop Hunt!! An absolute favorite of mine. I of course also loved the van/markiplier makes series cause I could always count on those for a good laugh if I needed it. The original FNAF series also gives me good memories, just because I remember it all coming out and seeing how many people loved it. This also makes me realize how long I’ve been subscribed to Mark…
AND HECK YEAH DANNY PHANTOM IS THE BEST. I still rewatch that often, and I’m actually rewatching Gravity Falls with a friend right now! Should I start Over the Garden Wall? I’ve heard it’s good. My other favorite cartoons include Avatar the Last Airbender and the reboot of Duck Tales!
I also have a question for you now. Do you like watching Mark’s sketch/written videos like Heist? (my brain is going blank while trying to write this lol) If so do you have a favorite ego??
hi! can i request an extra fluffy scenario of dk taking care of his s/o when they're sick?? thanks!
Word Count: 1744
Genre: Fluff
Member Ft. Mingyu and Chan
You rolled to the other side of your bed, feeling an incredible and uncomfortable warmth wash over you. Groaning, you realized you were sick. Laying a hand on your forehead, you felt the warmth transfer over. With another groan, you grabbed your phone from on your bedside dresser and dialed your work cell, calling to tell them that you wouldn’t be able to go in.
Once it was established that you weren’t going into work, you threw your covers off and practically crawled your way to the bathroom. Upon reaching the bathroom, you sat on the tiled floor, leaning against the countertop as you looked for medicine, or a thermometer. Finding both, you checked your temperature first and found it was at 105 F (40.5 C) groaning once more, you took some medicine and ran the bath.
You lay in the cold bath, trying to level your body temperature half asleep and half awake. Your phone began to ring obnoxiously, feeling around with your eyes closed, you found your phone and picked up. “Hello?” You croaked, your throat dry because you didn’t drink water.
“Woah, babe you sound horrible. Are you okay?” Seokmin asked, sounding overly worried. “Are you sick? Are you home? Have you taken medicine yet?” He bombarded you with questions so quickly you didn’t have time to answer them.
“Seokmin, calm down. It’s just a cold, I’m fine. Don’t worry so much,” clearing your throat, you sighed. “I took the day off work and I’m in the bath right now trying to level my temperature.”
“Oh, that’s good. Okay, um…” he paused as if trying to confess a secret to you. “I uh… I took the day off of work, so I’ll be right over after I buy some ingredients and get a soup recipe from Mingyu, or just bring Mingyu to cook for me.” He spoke humorously, making you laugh a little. You coughed afterwards, worrying Seokmin even more, “(Y/n)? Are you okay? Drink some water, don’t soak in the bath for too long you’ll get cold and even more sick. And remember to dry your hair afterwards. I’ll be over in a bit, don’t die in the meantime” he joked, trying to stay upbeat so you’d have the energy to get better.
In less than an hour, Seokmin arrived with ingredients, Mingyu, and hugs like he had promised with the plus of Chan. “(Y/n)!” Seokmin shouted, running to where you laid on the couch, “are you okay? How are you feeling?” He felt your forehead, joking around he ripped it off in a second complaining that it felt like he was touching hot rocks. You laughed lovingly, causing Chan and Mingyu to groan at the affection you two gave each other even when you were sick.
Mingyu cleared his throat, reminding you two that they were there and Chan laughed awkwardly. “Hey (Y/n), how are you feeling?” Chan greeted brightly. You waved ‘hi’ to him weakly and he walked across the living room, sitting on the couch adjacent to the one you were laying on. In a second he was on his phone, probably texting a friend from school or scrolling through Instagram.
Turning your attention back to Seokmin, he gave you a smile and stood up. “I’m gonna go try to cook with Mingyu, watch Chan please,” you laughed as Chan grew defensive, claiming that he didn’t need to be watched like a child.
Seokmin came and checked on you once in a while, humoring you with his jokes and cooking fails. “Mingyu kicked me out of the kitchen because I was only getting in the way,” he laughed as he sat down in front of the couch, looking over his shoulder to see your tired and beautiful face. “I love you,” he claimed, his eyes pouring with affection. “How are you feeling? I’m sorry we’ve been taking forever cooking.” Reaching his arm over, he removed the damp towel and felt your forehead. With a smile, he had announced happily that your forehead wasn’t as hot as before.
“Thank you for coming,” you said with a light laugh as you played with his hair, watching the cartoon that Chan had turned on. “I started feeling better the moment you walked in the door,” you smiled at him, feeling as if you made the moment too cheesy. However, having the same sense of humor, Seokmin smiled in reply and grabbed your hand from atop his head, bringing it down to his eye level.
“No problem babe, I’m here to take care of you.” He reassured, raising your hand to his lips. He placed a gentle kiss upon it, eliciting a groan from Chan who had turned just in time to see the pda. “I’m gonna go check on Mingyu with the soup, okay?” He said as he got up with a laugh, shaking his head at Chan’s childish behavior.
You heard as Seokmin and Mingyu prepared the table for a late breakfast, the glass plates clanking against your glass table, the chairs dragging along the floor as one of them prepared. “Alrighty (Y/n), the soup is ready.” Mingyu announced, “it’s my mom’s recipe, so I hope you like it.”
You could hear as the two walked over to you, Seokmin hurrying to help you sit up a little and Mingyu with a spoon full of soup in his hand. “Here, try it,” he suggested, shoving the spoon in your mouth, not even bothering to check if it was too hot. You nodded your head in admiration, the soup that he and Seokmin had spent all morning cooking had turned out to be a success. “You like it?” He asked joyfully, “that’s great!”
After a couple of minutes, Seokmin had lost the argument in transferring you from the couch to the dining table, he had given in early and let you have your way. “(Y/n), it was nice seeing you today, but Chan and I needa go.” Mingyu explained, giving a sorrow expression as they wore their hats, preparing to leave your house.
“What? Already?” You practically croaked, whining for them to stay and keep you company longer. “What am I supposed to do?” You yawned, tired from doing nothing all morning. “Seokmin you’re staying right?” You asked, reaching your hand out for him.
“Yes, (Y/n), just let me walk them out. I’ll be right back okay, try to eat some food.” He suggested as he placed the bowl in front of you. You watched as he walked away with Chan and Mingyu, silently waving them off as you stared at the bowl of soup in front of you.
You laid back down on the couch, disregarding the soup in front of you. The medicine you had taken earlier in the morning had been wearing off and your headache had been coming back. With a groan, you turned on your side and waited for Seokmin to return.
Minutes later, you heard your door click open and shut closed, turning your head you saw Seokmin approaching you, an upset look on his face. “You haven’t eaten yet?” He asked, “come on (Y/n), you gotta eat or else you won’t get better.” Sitting down between the couch and the coffee table, he got comfortable and turned to you, “are you really not going to eat?” He questioned.
“I can’t sit up, I tried eating.” You explained, turning over to face him. “My head hurts, and I can’t take medicine yet.” Seokmin hummed in response, bringing up the spoon and bowl to your mouth.
“If you can’t eat on your own then I’ll just feed you,” he smiled. He treated you like a baby, telling you to open your mouth when he came back with a spoon full of soup, making plane or train sounds with his mouth, and even making sure you chewed the vegetables thoroughly before he gave you another spoonful.
After you finished two bowls, you were full and Seokmin was tired of feeding you. “Are you feeling better?” He asked, raising his hand to your forehead to check your temperature. “Why does it feel even hotter?” He whined, “are you cold?” Standing up quickly, he rushed to grab you another blanket and a pillow.
“Seokmin, I’m fine,” you spout with a cough. “It’s just a little chilly in here,” you replied as you heard him grab the spare blankets from the closet in the guest bedroom. “I don’t need another blanket, this one is enough,” you reassured.
“No, you must be cold as heck. Your body is trying to fight off all of those sick cells and it’s making you cold. And I can’t hug you because I’m not getting sick, so the next best thing is a blanket.” He exclaimed, coming back with a mountain of blankets and two pillows. “These,” he said as he sat them down “will make you warm.”
He grabbed the first one atop the pile and wrapped it around you, tucking you in as if you were a human burrito. “Seokmin, now it’s too hot,” you whined, causing him to take off all of the blankets. And of course once you had taken off the blankets you were cold once more. “Now it’s too cold,” grabbing a single blanket from the pile, you wrapped it around yourself and laid down on the couch. “One blanket is enough,” you spoke with a faint laugh.
“So you’re okay now?” He asked, putting a hand to your forehead as he stood up straight. You nodded your head in response, smiling to him as he seemed worried. “That’s good,” he said as he began folding the blankets he brought out.
Once finished he placed them on top of each other and turned to you. Upon seeing your resting figure he smiled, he had loved the peaceful vibe you gave when you were sleeping or even just relaxing. Picking up the blankets, he went to put them back into the cabinet and returned to you.
Picking you up and carrying you bridal style, he brought you back to your room and laid you down. You stirred, twisting and turning a few times before you finally found the right position to lay in. Tucking you into bed, he sat at the edge and watched you sleep for a few seconds before leaning in to kiss your cheek.
“I hope you feel better soon (Y/n), I love you.”
For this week’s post, I’ve decided to take a break from my usual football & cartoon posts. This is a Birthday Special !! When I first started this blog three years back, I wasn’t too sure how things would pan out. I remember that somewhere around the time of the FIFA World Cup in Brazil, I had just contributed a series of articles to my brother’s blog about all things Japanese. These series of articles were about the history and rise of Japanese football. You can check them out in the link below.
https://armchairjapanophile.wordpress.com/category/sports/
It was quite a fun experience and I was feeling very inspired. It wasn’t until a few months later though, that I decided to start my own blog.
Oh wow !! I just realized that my first blog post was right after my birthday too !! Fascinating Co-incidence…. which brings me to an interesting point.
As you have observed, my posts tend to be about football & cartoons. This was exactly what I wanted my blog to be about. Strangely back then, I had a brain flash and decided to write about how I had spent my birthday in NYC.
Tumblr media
  New York Festival of Lights (NYFOL)
Of course, I had to add an additional category to my blog called ‘Random Musings’ or else none of this would make any sense. I remember writing that post with quite a bit of feeling and I had been scarcely associated with NYC at that point. Interestingly enough, the next my next one and a half years of my life would become intertwined with the city.
Now, NYC was not the reason I decided to start this blog. Yet the special place the city holds in my heart and the timing of certain events (more on this later) … I can’t escape the feeling that this post carries more significance than I may realize at this moment. It’s almost as if I was meant to write this post.
So here’s to Nueva York…
My Tryst with Destiny
Tumblr media
Destiny Huh ?
Four years ago during my masters’ program in Pennsylvania, a friend of mine who was holidaying in New York invited me to the city. He had been persuading me for a few weeks until I finally gave in and I’m glad I did. That weekend was something else !! I remember the first time the bus came out of the Lincoln Tunnel and into the city. It was night time and seeing all these huge buildings with bright lights staring at me… Woah ! I was in some other world.
  Finding my friend that night in a new country, new city… in Port Authority was truly a miracle. We spent the whole of the next day taking in the sights and sounds of mostly Manhattan. From the Empire State Building to Staten Island to Central Park to Times Square (Heck, there’s just way too many to name); it was a roller coaster ride. When I finally returned to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania I felt like I had come crashing down to earth. I made it a point to return and live in this city. There was just so much to experience and I had barely scratched the surface !!
Return I would…
Later Trips
Tumblr media
  Midtown Comic Madness !!
A year later after the completion of my masters’ program, I started making trips to the city for job interviews. These trips were almost always for job interviews and usually happened roughly once every 2 months. Though I rarely had a chance to do much other than meet a friend, that feeling whenever I entered the city was so fresh.
Empire State Building From Somewhere in Chelsea
Empire State Building on August 15th
Oh ! I almost forgot to mention the fact that right after I had finished my studies, I once again stayed with another friend in the city; not once but twice. My friend was working in Chelsea at the time and staying in his studio apartment was an absolute blast. During the day I would visit lots of different places in the city (Anything that was free or cheap !!) and at night, my friend and I would usually watch some TV show (Friends and Suits come to mind. Both NYC Themed !). We did quite a bit of sight-seeing together as well.
Street Graffiti viewed from the High Line
More Street Graffiti
In any case, it would take nearly a year until I really had something to do with the city. My job search hadn’t proved particularly fruitful in any part of the country. So, a friend of mine told me about this training centre in Harlem in my chosen field (Energy Efficiency). I was initially reluctant to leave Pennsylvania but then took a chance anyway.
The City at Last
As things transpired, it turned out to be the right move. I moved to New Jersey and commuted to the city whenever I had to. Not long after finishing my training course, I finally did get an internship and then finally a full-time job.
Tumblr media
A Fabulous View of the Empire State Building From My Then-Office
The good times had arrived and I could finally live the life of a New Yorker. It must be said here that my job situation at the time eventually never worked out in the way I had hoped. However, that said, I had a chance to explore a lot more of the city.
The Best of NYC
Tumblr media
No, no… I didn’t see David Letterman !!
To be honest, I don’t even know where to begin when it comes to describing my favourite places, activities or memories of the city. The real truth is that despite exploring a lot more of the city, I still feel as though I’ve barely scratched the surface.
      Bryant Park in Autumn.. I think
Nothing like summer in Bryant Park
A beautiful night view of the Bank of America Tower
When I used to commute to Harlem for my training course, I often visited Bryant Park. Hands down one of my favourite spots in the city, especially when I didn’t have too much cash to spend. I also spent a lot of time in the NYPL (New York Public Library). Later on when I did have a job, I remember spending a quite a lot on food. I’m a huge fan of the city’s ‘world culture’ and enjoyed trying so many different kinds of cuisines. A personal favourite of mine is Meson Sevilla on 46th street. I particularly loved the place because of its warm atmosphere and shared love for football. I spent many an evening there talking to the general manager about football, Real Madrid and pop-culture.
  When Pena Madridista NYC was at Quinn’s !!
Pena Madridista NYC !!
Tumblr media
Watching Raul & Marcos Senna’s last game with the Cosmos at Coney Island
Another of my favourite memories was watching Real Madrid games with the Pena Madridista NYC club. Making a noise with fellow Madridistas while drinking beer can be a blast but I also really loved meeting people from new cultures at these events. Football and Real Madrid apart, there was also the fair share of partying. Roof-top parties in Brooklyn, spending time at bars such as the Playwright’s Irish Pub, McGettigans etc. was also great.
What have I missed out ? Hmm.. Probably a lot.
Tumblr media
Attending a Sustainability Conference at the UN General Assembly Hall was a surreal experience
Tumblr media
Grand Central in all its glory !!
Of course !! How can I forget watching a game with my tennis-buff friend in Flushing Meadows at the U.S. Open ?
Tumblr media
Martina Hingis & Sania Mirza at the U.S. Open !!
There were the plays and concerts too.
    The Legendary Minskoff Theatre !!
Nederlander Theatre
The Timeless Radio City Music Hall
Carnegie Hall (Thank you Club Free-Time !!), Radio City Music Hall (What a beautiful place !!), BAM Howard Gilman Opera House, Dumbo, Williamsburg etc.
The Future
Although I never did get a chance to live in the city, I still feel lucky and grateful to have experienced as much as I did. There is a lot that I have not touched upon in this post because there is just too much to talk about. Often times, I still do think of my good experiences with this place and I always get this feeling that I will return sometime.
Coming back to the timing of certain events that I had mentioned at the beginning of this post; it is very interesting indeed. I had already mentioned that my first post 3 years ago was around my birthday and it is interesting that I suddenly feel like writing a tribute to NYC at the same time. Three years ago, my brother was also heavily into his Japan blog at around this time of the year. So, the fact that he is visiting Japan right now and just earlier in the day went and got me Japanese football memorabilia (Think the blog article series connect) makes this even more curious. Also, I had mentioned something about Cardcaptor Sakura in my very first blog post. It’s been 2 decades since anything Cardcaptor came out and a series revival is just 2 months away. It is just a series of synchronicities.
It would be fantastic to return to NYC. I still haven’t seen a Broadway play (Especially in the Minskoff Theatre) and haven’t experienced the charm of the Lincoln Centre for Performing Arts. Just before I left the city, I remarked to a friend (Yep, the same guy who was holidaying there 4 years ago) that someday I would own a property in the Upper East Side overlooking Central Park. We were walking along that exact same stretch on our way to Grand Central (God, that night was gorgeous).
It’s a dream of mine to return to the city for a few years and share that experience with my family and close friends. No one knows what the future holds but I’ve always been a dreamer and believe in them.
To the Future and to New York !!
Shamchat couldnt save this...
This is a conversation between Fairy!Arthur Kirkland //Yes for starter// and yourself, Alfred F. Jones.
Alfred F. Jones: +yes
Fairy!Arthur Kirkland //Yes for starter//: Arthur flew around a human’s kitchen, using his magic to make the human a cake. He felt it was the least he could do after routinely stealing the human’s food and the one time he swapped the sugar with the salt. Arthur wasn’t all too fond of humans in the first place, but he had taken a liking to this one in particular. Arthur originally liked to mess around with the human, moving things around and turning lights on and off just for laughs, but over time he started to be a bit nicer, cleaning the human’s desk and making sure that everything was in it’s place. After months of being around this human, they still hadn’t noticed him. Arthur remembered a time when humans feared fairies, but nowadays, Arthur found that most humans didn’t even think fairies existed. He didn’t mind. Honestly, he liked it this way, it was much more fun watching them mumble about ghosts instead of the obvious conclusion. Arthur continued working on the cake, trying his hardest to make sure it didn’t burn like his first attempt had. As gifted as he was with magic, baking was never Arthur’s strong suit. Still, Arthur wasn’t worried, he had time before the human got home. Arthur had figured out what times the human had work and built his usual schedule around that. He had an hour at least. And everything was going fine, until Arthur heard the door open. Quickly, Arthur dropped what he was doing, literally, and flew behind a glass vase. Arthur heard the door close and footsteps. Usually Arthur would just fly straight to the window the human always left open, but if he did that, he would have to pass the human and run the risk of being seen. It was too risky. Arthur stayed where he was, watching the human enter the kitchen with wide eyes.
Alfred F. Jones: Alfred had gotten back from work earlier then usual. He was very glad his boss allowed him to leave an hour early. Upon getting home, he entered the kitchen ready to find something to eat, as he usually did when returning home. Although, when he entered one of his favorite places in his home, he stopped in his tracks near the doorway. "...Okay! That's it! I'm done! Ghost, show yourself! You're really freaking me out! What are you even doing to my kitchen? Like seriously man, what the heck?" Alfred yelled, walking into the kitchen more to inspect the "Ghost's" mess. "Is... is this cake batter? Why? Were ya gonna through a ghost party and not tell me?" He glanced around the room, silent as he waited for a response from his ghost housemate. Strange occurrences had been happening in his home for a while now and he's honestly fed up with it at this point. First, the ghost was mean and played tricks on him and now it rearranges his stuff to where he can't find it and apparently bakes cake. "Were ya even gonna share the cake..?" He muttered to himself as he looked around the kitchen for any signs of supernatural activity.
Fairy!Arthur Kirkland //Yes for starter//: Arthur stayed hidden, but couldn't help but giggle a bit. A ghost party? Really? Yes, he did find it funny to screw with Alfred, and seeing him like this made Arthur less worried that he'd be seen. What Arthur found even funnier was that even after all of this Alfred insistently believed in ghosts, but not fairies. He kept a close eye on Alfred as he used his magic to clean up a bit of batter that had spilled on the counter. He didn't mean to make so much of a mess, it just sorta happened. He peeked his little head out from behind the glass vase and stared up at Alfred. For the record, he was making the cake for Alfred anyway, so of course he was going to share it. And once Alfred left, Arthur would finish making the cake.
Alfred F. Jones: Alfred's attention instantly went to the movement he saw out of the corner of his eye. "Ah-ha!" He exclaimed as he turned toward where he thought the ghost was, due to the batter on the counter being cleaned. "So you're still in here! Sweet! Bro, its fine that ya made a mess. I honestly don't care. Plus ya usually clean up my messes so its cool. I just wanna, I dunno, talk. I guess. Wait.. are you able to talk? Oh geez, I'm gonna look like an asshole if ya can't. I'm sorry man. I just.. I'm kinda upset that ya like move my stuff around, I've lost a lot of things because if it... And I'm like super grateful though! Is there anyway I can see ya? Maybe I can like throw flour on ya and see ya that way? Ya know, like in the cartoons. Oh, sorry I'm rambling. Is there anything ya wanna say, if you can I mean." He ranted casually. He used to be so scared of ghosts, but after living with one and trying everything he could find to get rid of his unexpected housemate, he eventually just gave up and lived with it. He had to admit it was pretty rad to live with a ghost. "It's just I wanna work this whole living, not living? together thing out? Like, is there anything ya need?" He asked, looking off to the side, where he assumed the ghost wasn't was. "Huh?" he uttered as he noticed something odd and tiny next to a vase. "What the.." he trailed off, blinking, thinking his eyes may be playing tricks on him.
Fairy!Arthur Kirkland //Yes for starter//: Arthur burst into a fit of laughter as he watched Alfred talk to thin air. It was just too much honestly. "Bloody idiot," he managed to say while he shook with laughter, his wings fluttering a bit as well. But his laughter stopped the minute he noticed Alfred looking his way. Arthur hid behind the glass vase, holding his breath and closing his eyes, not daring to move for fear of being seen. Perhaps he shouldn't have gotten so comfortable around Alfred, even if the human was rather dull. Arthur waited for a while before looking around the vase again, quickly, before hiding again. Alfred was still there and clearly was watching him. Arthur felt butterflies in his stomach and feared for the worst.
Alfred F. Jones: Alfred crouched down so that his face is level with the counter. "Is that you? Are...Are you a small ghost?" He asked curiously, since he definitely saw something, but wasn't sure what exactly he saw. "I'm not gonna hurt ya. Like I said I wanna talk, see ya, figure out how this living or nonliving together thing out." He added softly, hoping to coax the small ghost out of hiding. "..hmm... will it help if I told ya about me? My name's Alfred Jones. I'm single. I like to have fun and I work at a arcade place. I also like to volunteer at a pet shelter. So, what about you?" he asked, waiting patiently for a response.
Fairy!Arthur Kirkland //Yes for starter//: Arthur listened carefully but still didn't trust Alfred. Even if he was an idiot, Alfred was a human, and Arthur didn't trust humans. Sure, he liked to mess around, but he hadn't actually spoken to a human in hundreds of years. Arthur swallowed and took a deep breath before speaking, still hiding behind the vase. "I'm not a ghost, Alfred," was all he said. He remained there for a moment more before coming out from behind the vase and looking Alfred in the eye. Something about this made Arthur uneasy. Arthur didn't like the feeling at all. He shook it off and spoke again. "I'm Arthur. I'm a fairy."
Alfred F. Jones: Alfred's eyes widened as Arthur revealed himself to him. "Woah.. you're not a ghost!" Alfred exclaimed quietly, staring at Arthur. "Your're so tiny!" Honestly, Alfred was flabbergasted at this new concept. He was shocked to see that a small little fairy had been doing everything he thought the ghost was doing, but at the same time he is relieved that it wasn't a ghost at all. "It's nice ta meet cha, Arthur! How long have ya been here in my home?" he asked, grinning happily.
Alfred F. Jones: ((sorry about the wait I had a sudden phone call))Fairy!Arthur Kirkland //Yes for starter//: ((It's fine!))Fairy!Arthur Kirkland //Yes for starter//: Arthur gave a small smile as Alfred spoke. This wasn't at all what he was expecting, but he went with it. "About a month, I think," he answered. He nervously scratched his neck and shifted his weight. "I really am sorry for all the trouble I caused you, Alfred. I hope you'll accept my apology," he said after a long pause. Now that he was talking to Alfred, he felt he should be a bit more polite, seeing as Alfred was being nothing if not polite to him.Alfred F. Jones: Alfred is excited to meet the new creature and hopefully become his friend. "That's cool and it's all cool, man! Is it just you here or are there others? Do fairies live in, like, packs or something or do they live on their own? Oh! Or do they choose a human to live with and ya chose me?" He asked, extremely curious as he continued to ask questions. "Where have ya been sleeping? Do fairies sleep? What about food? Do you eat anything? Ah! Were you the one making this cake? How did you do all this by yourself? Everything is so big compared to you. You must be very strong to be able to pick everything up!" He finally stopped talking for a moment, waiting for Arthur to speak. It's as if Alfred had reverted back to childhood as he spoke with the fairy.
Fairy!Arthur Kirkland //Yes for starter//: ((brb))
Alfred F. Jones: ((mkay))
Fairy!Arthur Kirkland //Yes for starter// has left the conversation.
