you’re 4 hours into your road trip, and logan, well, being the man he is, hasn’t let you drive a single second.
he tells you that you can just sit there n’ look pretty and that’s good enough for him. but, he’s getting tired, and the nearest hotel isn’t for another 50 miles.
you notice his eyes getting heavier, his body slouching more, his grip on the steering wheel loosening. so, you do what you do best. why not have some harmless fun with your old boyfriend?
your hands subtly inch over to his thighs, fingers trailing the clothed skin just above his knee, and he flinches surprisingly, glancing at you for a moment with that tired face of his.
“what are y’doing? huh? he asks, with a quirk in his eyebrow and his voice rasping more than usual from his fatigue; it only makes it all the more arousing for you.
you grin, your head turned to look up at him with a sly expression. “just waking you up a bit. you’re practically falling asleep here.”
your fingers move upwards now, slowly but surely, and right before you can reach the spot just below his bulge, he sighs out, gripping your hand to lightly push it off of him.
“not here. got another hour left til’ we’re at the hotel. then, we can rest up, baby.”
you pout, looking at him eagerly. “are you even gonna make it there, lo?” you tease, “your eyes are getting heavier, you’re tired.. why don’t you just let me drive?” you attempt, but you’re knocked down the second you try.
he huffs, shaking his head. “don’t you try that shit. you know what m’gonna say to that.”
you groan at that, rolling your eyes fussily as your head turns to look up at the roof of the car. “you’re insufferable,” you sigh out, jokingly, of course. but, you were with logan long enough to know just how stubborn he could be. that he could almost always be.
which means, you knew exactly how to get what you wanted, in more ways than one.
let’s just say this way was more fun, anyway.
you let out an exasperated breath before turning back to face him, your eyes lighting up just slightly before you open up your mouth.
“guess i just gotta..” you trail off, hands now on your body with your fingertips grazing the skin on your chest; roaming around the loose shirt you had on. “..entertain myself for the next hour then..”
logan turns his head to you now, eyes fixing on your hand just long enough to catch you slip it underneath your bra, cupping one of your tits. you let out a low moan as you look into his eyes, fingers rolling the nipple there, and he scoffs.
it’s a sound that has your heart racing immediately.
“you’ve been a good girl so far, sweetheart. would hate for you to switch up when we’re almost fuckin’ there.” he warns you, turning his head back to the road, having seen enough. “don’t you start now. gonna make you regret it.”
a pang of arousal hits you just like that, pussy involuntarily clenching around nothing as he threatens you; a threat that you definitely need to see for yourself.
you merely pout at him again, but his words aren’t enough to stop you. not when you’re just getting started.
your hand leaves your breast, slowly inching down your stomach, then to the waistband of your shorts, all with your eyes still locked on him. you bite your lip as your hand breaches underneath the material, testing the waters before your fingers reach the hem of your panties.
fingertips aching to dip into the wet heat, you anticipate your own touch as your hands lower, but an immediate grasp at your wrist stops you completely, eliciting a gasp from your throat.
mouth falling open in shock, you turn to look at the man responsible with that gruff look on his face, and that snarl from him gives you more than enough of a warning.
you clear your throat, letting out a noise of frustration towards your boyfriend as he all but tosses your hand away carelessly.
“knock. it. off. don’t make me say it again.”
logan nearly growls at you, moving in closer to get right in your face; he isn’t playing around, and you know it.
but, god, does it only encourage you more.
it isn’t until logan’s focus is completely back on the road that you test the waters again; your fingers finally inserting themselves into your soft, warm folds, wet and waiting so impatiently.
it makes you moan, a hushed sound that you try your hardest to bite back from releasing, but you’re evidently unsuccessful.
so, before you know it, the truck is swerving, causing you to pull yourself back to hold onto the sides of the car, anywhere that you could grab onto. the wheels squeal loudly as the high pitch penetrates your ears, and logan makes a harsh u-turn without a second to waste.
“lo! what the fuck!” you exclaim loudly, wild eyes reaching for his own, but it’s no use. he’s dead set in front of him, shaking his head furiously as the white of his knuckles present itself from holding onto the wheel so tightly.
he’s had enough of your shit.
his eyes never leave the road in front of him once, never returning to you. no matter how much you talk or try to get him to respond, he doesn’t budge.
instead, for the next 5 minutes, silence fills the space between you as your eyes shut from your frustration. it’s all you really can do at this point.
but, it’s only when the high screech of the wheels halting and the gear being put into park has your eyes opening again, eyes latching onto the bright lights in front of you.
a gas station, and the convenience store’s white luminescent glass reflecting on logan’s face. he’s out the driver’s side as soon as you can look at him, and before you can process it, he’s dragging you out of the truck, slamming the door shut as he does so.
you scramble against him, fists almost pushing their hardest into his chest as you whine loudly, increasingly dazed and confused.
“logan, what the fuck are you doing?! let go of me!”
you fight against him harder, but there’s nothing stopping him. not now.
he lets out an exasperated breath, his heavy footsteps embedding themselves into the loud gravel beneath them as he drags you along.
“don’t play that shit with me. actin’ like you don’t know what the hell you’re doing,” he practically yells at you in a hushed voice, “you know what the fuck you’re doing.”
“walk.” he orders you instantly, and you don’t hesitate to obey. not when his voice gets like that.
most of all, because it makes your heart pound—pounding in your chest because he’s right. you know what you’re doing.. but, you can’t say you regret it. no, not one bit.
and if he’s gonna make you regret it, you might as well go all out. right?
his grip on your arm is tight as you walk side by side with him, leading you into the gas station with the door open for you. you can’t even acknowledge the cashier from how quick logan swifts the two of you past them; straight towards the bathroom, and it makes you gulp.
it’s too late for anyone to be around, too late for anyone to care, and you know that. but, the thought exhilarates you anyway.
he shoves the door open with a hushed whisper—one that’s almost incoherent as it escapes his lips. “you wanna act like a fucking brat?” he shuts the door hurriedly, shoving your body against the sink, “i’m gonna treat you like a fucking brat.”
you yelp at the sudden movement, his fingers digging themselves into your skin as you cry out at the feeling. it’s rough and brutal and it burns, but it’s so fucking good.
“lo.. lo, please,” you whine as your eyes shut tightly, the overwhelming sensation of his hands on you and his hot breath hitting your skin being too much to handle.
your body is flush against the sink as you attempt to squirm, to try to get him to do something, anything.
that cruel laugh of his fills your ears—quiet yet booming in your head as it sends chills throughout your entire body, eyes flashing open to look at him in the mirror in front of you. “please? please?” logan mocks you, “do y’even know what you’re asking for, baby? nah.. you don’t.”
“you just want..” logan trails off, his hands mindlessly reaching for your shorts, “to get fucked.. like the whore you are.”
without a single warning, he yanks them down along with your panties, and your whines are impossible to stop when the cool air hits your bare skin. when his filthy words are the only thing you can think about.
“can’t keep these pretty hands to yourself, you gotta rile me up to do it for you?” you hear the clank of his belt unbuckling, the zipper of his jeans sliding down, “gotta piss me off every goddamn time you get so fucking needy? i mean,” he laughs harder now, “not that i really blame you..”
logan pauses, and his eyes that were once staring directly at you now shift to look straight ahead, latching onto your mirrored reflection instead. as if he was looking right into you now. “pretty girl like you.. would be a shame to let this cunt go to waste. so, i’ll do you a favor..”
your jaw falls open in complete shock as your face contorts, as the tip of his cock breaches your tight hole, making your eyes roll back instantaneously with a sob from your lips.
“i’ll use her real good. for what she’s made for, yeah?”
your hands grip the sink in front of you as tightly as possible, body trembling as logan groans into your ear, his hands on your body never loosening.
instead, his grip only tightens as his hips become flush against your ass, his entire cock piercing you to the hilt with a satisfied moan.
“that was easier this time, wasn’t it? gettin’ used to me now. just needed to..” logan takes a moment to pull himself out of you, the tip resting against your entrance as he groans. he slams himself back inside of you so hard that your body fails you, your hands landing on the mirror to hold yourself up, bent over.
“break her in real fucking good.”
your body shakes against him as you cry out at his intrusion, stammering out a string of noises as your walls involuntarily clench around him over and over again. it’s almost as if you’re rapidly adapting to him; the way he stretches you out so much that it hurts in the best way possible. you’re pulsing around him, increasingly growing wetter by the second as your eyes water from the intense sensation.
your words slur with a few whines of what seem to be logan’s name as your hands move back to the sink, attempting to push yourself back up against him, but he stops you. grabbing one of your hands, he places it right against the mirror again, holding it still as he grinds himself into you. it makes you breathe out rapidly, body bent over the sink completely now.
“keep em’ right there. right fucking there. you don’t get to do that. y’don’t get to make any choices here.” he grunts in your ear, his thick beard grazing along your jaw as his eyes flicker from your face back to the mirror. he notices the way you’re trembling, eyes filled with those pretty tears of yours, and it makes him smile—a chuckle leaving him shamelessly.
he takes a moment to admire you, whispering out, “what i’m gonna do to you, baby..” and it makes your eyes flutter shut, warmth filling your core.
his other hand trails up the front of your body now, and it practically covers you completely because of how big it is—your stomach, your breasts, your chest, then finally, your neck. your gasp is loud; heavy, as his fingers wrap around your throat, holding you still for him.
all of you in the palm of his hand—all in his control.
you moan eagerly as he looks into your eyes through the mirror, grinning almost maliciously, “isn’t this what you wanted?” he laughs, his hips stirring a bit as he agonizingly pulls out of you, making you wince, “you wanted my attention so bad, wanted my cock so fucking bad..” he growls in your ear, his hand sliding from your throat to the back of your neck, pushing you down hard, and it makes you grip onto the side of the sink even more.
“well, now you fucking got it.”
the sound of his rasping grunt hits you first; before you’re sobbing out on his cock, pelvis hammering inside of you with a tight hold on your neck, keeping you there with no chance of stopping, no squirming, no escaping.. no running away from this.
all you can do is take it as he pounds into you, the agonizing ache of his cock sliding in and out of you rapidly increasing the coil in your core, your loud cries and moans enough to make him go harder.
“there you go, there she is..” logan grits out, hands now grasping at your hips, smacking your ass, eliciting a grunt from you, “better fuckin’ hope no one walks in here, or else all they’re gonna see is some whore gettin’ used.”
you cry out as you feel the tip of his cock reach the deepest parts inside of you, nudging your g-spot suddenly as a tear slides down your cheek, your knuckles white from how tight you were grasping at your surroundings. your cheeks grow hot from the idea of that happening, stomach tightening as heat pools your core.
“what’d they think, huh? you think they’d wanna join in on the fun? bet they’d wanna fuck you too after i’m done with you. tightest fuckin’ hole i’ve ever had.”
you whine out now, shaking your head desperately in retaliation as you deny it. you couldn’t ever have another man like this, not now, not ever—only him.
logan sighs out, “no, no, no, i’d never let em’ baby, don’t you worry,” he reassures you, pressing his lips against the top of your head, “this,” he murmurs, his hand reaching to cup the front of your cunt, the rough skin on his palm grazing your clit just enough to make you squeal, “s’all fuckin’ mine. you hear me? not a single soul gets to use her like i can.”
“not like she’d want it anyway. only wants my cock in her. s’the only way she can really be filled up.. fucked stupid and cryin’ for me. ain’t that right? never got fucked by a man like me before y’met me, and i’m sure as hell no one will ever get her trembling like i do.”
you shake your head again, tears continuously spilling out of your eyes as your stomach tightens repeatedly, “n-no, lo, only you—” you stammer out as logan buries himself inside of you to the hilt, plunging into the warm heat of your walls, and he slows, relying on pure power than pace now. the harsh drive of his hips has your head fogging up, so close to reaching your peak with your cunt shuddering.
“ohh, there we go, she’s doing it now. shaking all over this fucking cock, squeezin’ me so tight,” he hisses, “that all you up in this pretty little head, or can you even control it? can’t even control it, can you, baby?”
a string of noises leaves your lips, breathless and mixed with whines and a few tears in your eyes as your core spasms out, his cock hitting deep inside of you repeatedly.
“what was that? can’t really.. understand you, baby, y’gotta speak up..” he teases, a mean laugh escaping his throat, “c’monnn, use your words, really think em’ out, say em’ clearly.”
“c’mon, show me that you’re still my good girl. my good little girl. speak up for your old man, honey.”
you yelp out at his filthy words, “m’.. i c-can’t.. control it, ah!” your moans involuntarily stringing out, eyes fluttering shut and rolling to the back of your head, your pussy convulsing around him intensely. “g-gonna–c-cum, lo, oh—” you spit out, your chest grasping for as much air as possible.
he hums in your ear now, fingers reaching for your clit and fastening tight, harsh circles at it, making you shudder, your cunt throbbing around his cock—pulsating over and over again as you start to see white. “gonna fill you up, sweetheart, gonna make you take it, fuck.”
you can’t even register him anymore as he talks you through it, the “come for me, baby,” muffled in your ears as you listen to him, cunt constricting around him tightly as you soak him, and the sound is filthy as logan chases his release, squelching loudly from your climax.
you let out a muffled sob as logan finally reaches his peak, slamming himself deep inside of you as he holds you there, the spurts of white hot spilling & coating your walls. all you can hear is the ringing in your ears, along with the mixture of your heavy breaths and logan’s rasps surrounding you.
logan’s strong arms pull you up against him as you catch your breath, heart rate slowing as your back leans against his chest tiredly. he mutters sweet nothings to you, praising you with kisses along your neck, cheek, then to your lips.
“my good fucking girl, my sweet girl—oh, baby,” he hums in your ear, eyes shut as he takes you in. you sigh out, breathing him in as your hand reaches behind, landing on the back of his head to pull him in closer, “god, i love you.”
you laugh, pressing a mindless kiss on his skin, “i love you more, lo, i–i’m sorry for acting out, for being such a—” you begin to apologize, but he just shuts you up with another peck to your lips. “shh, you hush now. i appreciate it.. you riling me up all the damn time. s’ the only way i can still feel so young.”
you giggle, eyes opening up to turn your head to him, taking in his disheveled look—tired, old, grumpy. the man you loved, as handsome as ever.
“always young in my eyes, lo..” you smile, “besides.. it’s the only way i can get you to fuck me that good.” you tease.
he huffs, rolling his eyes. “i fuck you that good every goddamn time, n’ don’t you deny it.”
you laugh, nodding. you can’t deny that fact. but, your eyebrows furrow slightly, suddenly thinking back to the previous events.
“did you really fuck me in a gas station bathroom, babe? what if someone walked in?!” you groan, pushing your forehead into his chest, embarrassed.
he chuckles, “locked it the minute we got in here, baby. wouldn’t let anyone see you like that,” he reassures you, gently gripping the side of your head to make you look up at him, “you got that?”
his face is stern now as he looks into your eyes, and those butterflies in your stomach erupt as if it were the first time you ever got them from him. you nod though, gleaming up at him.
“got it.”
he grins, “good. now, let’s get you cleaned up n’ back on the road. back’s killing me even more now n’ that bed’s calling my name.”
you laugh at him, teasing him further. “old man.”
you wouldn’t want it any other way.

can i get nsfw headcanons about any naruto characters? your choice !!
Tumblr media
characters: gaara, kiba, kakashi, shikamaru
cw: cum, anal, vibrators, dick sizes, fem reader with fem parts
a/n: hope u enjoy! also i’m writing for them during the time naruto and hinata got married (?) i know they were like 19-23 or 24
Tumblr media
GAARA !
when you two are alone: he likes when you lay on him n he rubs your back inching his way down to you ass, rubbing it and kneading it in his hands.
twerk on this man, give him a lap dance i swear to god he won’t be disappointed by anything you shake. his eyes will be wide and he’ll have the biggest smile on his face, if y’all are drunk and doing this then you’ll definitely be fucking wherever you are at. Most likely will come in his pants..
his balls are tight and full, not big but average size for his age. Loves when you just lay next to him and invade his space then slipping a hand in his pants to massage his balls; especially when he’s cramping there to.
he’s not much of a sex guy but definitely prefers dry humping over the real dick in the ass thing, if yknow what i mean. you 2 just get the grind on..slow and sensual. & by dry humping— he’s not humping you like a wild animal, just dragging his boner across your leg/thigh. You do the same..just without ur panties (^_^)
Don’t get me wrong..he’ll have sex and release his load in you or on you a few times— he just has a..in between sex drive (?) basically: sex isn’t always on his mind unless you propose to it and if he’s having a rough day (which is almost everyday & barely resorts to sex to get relaxed) anywayss. With that being said i really feel like he likes to take sex slow so your foreplay will last about 15-20 mins and another 20 while he’s kissing every crack and creavice of your body.
⤴︎ i also feel like he’s big into role play. Like yes, i’ll be the princess and you’ll be the evil big bad wizard that needs my love and touch. Or yes you can be the UPS guy and i can be the mom of 2 college and highschool kids during the summer waiting for my dildo to arrive because me and my husband divorced a few months ago
he don’t lick pussy he SUCKS pussy. he don’t give you fast kitten licks he will head straight for the clit and suck on it like a pacifier and rub it when he’s done.
his cum has an easy flow and isn’t too thick but he spurts out a lot. Also average size with an average girth, 6.4 inches at best🙌🏾
KIBA !
biggg ash, GIRTH && LENGTH WISE. i’d say 6.6 at least. n he lovesss it when you whine and tell him it don’t or won’t fit & try to push him back a bit by his abdomen or run. just for him to grab you by the hips/waist and start pounding into you
unlike gaara he will dive in and lick your pussy clean. sorry not sorry, he has no pussy eating technique and does what he saw a man do on a porno he seen when he 12 years old. yeahhhp
why fuck one hole when you can fuck 3? we all say in usion. He’s an anal god & prefers the butthole than the vagina or mouth.
speaking of mouth..he likes a little teeth on his cock, not a lot tho😗 cause it “tickles” he says.
Guys..he does not have breeder balls..i’m sorry :(. They aren’t small they just aren’t as big but they don’t sag either..they’re TIGHT. tight like if he was to go soft rn his ball sacks would be a futon for his penis
also has bad ball cramps and whines so much when you can’t or won’t help him with it. But “its fine” he says, just don’t beg for any dick post- shark week 😒. && to top it all off he is a MASTER MASTURBATER. when he got with you he stopped watching porn and used his imagination with you being the the source of material.
sleeps bare butt ass naked with his balls all out jus free ballin like we’re in the paleoithic age💀
ass eater ass eaterr. he don’t care if you ain’t shower this morning he wants to go in and down. He’s a free and wild man when it comes to sex, LITERALLY.
whines the most and hates to admit it but he just can’t help how tight you are. Like you wrap around him just right and it makes him come on the spot sometimes
Tumblr media
they don’t mind a bush or fuzzy peach. But kiba is the one to cry when you shave or get a wax down there 😗 the others don’t mind if it’s hairy, a little hair never hurt them and plus “we grown” kakashi, kiba and SHIKAMARU say in harmony 😭
+ all of the character listed above
KAKASHI !
always and i mean alwaysss has to have a hand on your ass and tits. it’s not even in a horny or sexual way— he just wants to squeeze and feel the squish of your body. Unknowingly massages them to and you don’t even point it out, then he’s moving his hand looking down at your nipple like “why is it hard?” man you just gave top tier massage that could clear migraines and cramps.
his dick is big and he knows ittt. Sitting on his lap is enough for his dick to go in ‘up mode’ he will nottt back down or let YOU back down when you tease him and try to leave him by hiself with a hardon, no ma’am..you’re gonna finish what you started.
never fully gets naked when you two are having sex. his shirt is off, pants down and his dick coming out the deisgined hole of his boxers. Your bra over your tits and panties pulled to the side.
he lives in the country and rural era of konoha so yes you suck his dick and he eats you out on his back patio, what about it?
doesn’t want you having any dildos, he doesnt know why it makes him so upset you need a FAKE cock to make you cum when you have him. The only sex toys he’ll allow is a vibrator and butt plug. Speaking of vibrators, he so fascinated by the way your plump pussy lips move when you use it😫
preps you all the time, you two could’ve been fucking since the day you got together, he’s still gonna prep you either way cause mans is BIG. he’s more of a shower than grower tho 😗
6.7in when soft and 7inch hard. His girth isn’t wide..it’s more on the skinny side but he reaches places better with the size and length. Once you cried so hard and almost reached your breaking point when his thrust kept getting deeper and slower cause he was hitting the entrance to your cervix and lord was it painful yet pleasing at once.
his balls are average but they sag, not low but they got some weight to em on the inside 😭
SHIKAMARU !
wants to makes movies with you and has made movies with you. But it’s premium tho so only you and him only see it.
always and i mean alwayssss has a hand in your panties or on your thigh. You two would be chillin in the living room, the floor or in the bed (most of the times the bed) and he’ll just sneak his through and just rub your clit. he doesn’t finger you just rubs you slowly, occupied with his phone and your pussy while he’s just strolling through social media and getting you off all at once.
fav position is most likely doggystyle. Why? because if you both are getting your freak on and wanting to watch something..you can do both.
lazy sex..need i say more? he’s got you laying on top of him with his dick barely all the way inside you and giving half ass thrusts while you both are half away and naked at the crack of morning
hates pulling out, says it ruins the good feeling when you’re about to cum. Naw sweetie he just wants to be a dad of a cheerleading team. He might wanna be one and done or 2 kids but the way he cums inside of you..😗 it says otherwise. he doesn’t even pull out till you guys wake up, and if he did so you can go pee and get it out your system— he’s gonna ease way back in and go to bed like that 😭
another sagger and shower but not a grower. He’s average, length and girth. 6.6 hard and 6.6 soft. It’s just limpy yknow?.
also sleeps naked well semi-naked. but you? oh he makes you strip down to your socks and earrings. he wants you skinned down to the toess. He only sleeps in a bare of boxers and time out time he uses rhat as his advantage. won’t even take them off to pull his dick out. he either slips it through the hole of his pants or over the hem of the boxers. Somtimes doesn’t even take it out himself and gets you to do it by grinding it agaisnt you or pulling you closer to it.
cums a lot and cums whenever and wherever tbh. on your face in your mouth, wipes it off for you tho. One thing he lovessss to do is slap his tip on your lips or cheeks he just loves slapping his cock all over your face anyways

stoooooppppo bc a nanami fic where we call him ‘daddy’ and he just stops and climbs off of us would be soooooo funny 😭😭😭 #wouldread
Tumblr media
the only thing you got your older boyfriend, nanami, for your one-month anniversary was you.
you sitting on his big, white bed, legs crossed and bared to the bone. drunk off of expensive alcohol and facing mean nicotine cravings, you scratch at your knees in waiting.
your boyfriend is so clean — so thorough. you love it, but you hate the fact that he takes longer showers than you. that’s where he is now, stuck under with the promise of,
‘be out soon’
soon, to him, was half an hour.
still, you wait so patiently. biting your tongue to hold back your excitement.
then that door draws open and your tail is wagging. he speaks no words, just walks up to you naked, minus the towel slung around his waist. he's so freakishly handsome it's unfair. dark eyes and dark, water-drenched hair. that familiar, beautiful trail of hair across his chest that leads straight under that towel...the tinges of grey mixed in with the dark blonde. god, he's just so perfect.
“why do you insist on showering when we’re just gonna get dirty again?” you whisper, sitting up on your knees when he walks over to the side of the bed. no answer, you’re not surprised. instead, he closes a hand around your throat and pulls you up into a tender kiss.
then, his hands are trailing everywhere, locking in your hair and pulling, marking the flesh around your hips a rosier shade of you.
“in the end, we're all just creatures of habit, aren't we, my pretty thing?"
“yes.” you pout against his lips, closing your hands around his wide, muscular back. his stringy, dark hair drips water onto your face, forcing you to turn it up. “yes, sir.”
“that’s my girl.” his voice dips an octave, kissing over your forehead before pushing you back on the bed with a single hand. “open up for me, baby.”
nanami’s dirty talk is lethal. he’s so pronounced and perfectly punctual that it sounds like he’s giving you work assignments. you love it, though. you drink his words up like wine.
so, you open your legs, flushing hot when his eyes fall right down to your sweet, crying cunt. just seeing him emerge from the steamy expanse of the bathroom half naked could make you cum, but you do have some self-control.
scratch that — he leans down and places a kiss right into your spread pussy, giving your clit a tiny little lick. all that self control is fucking gone.
"god — you're a fucking," you shake your head, catching eye-contact as you sit up on your elbows. he's pushing his body between yours, knees slotting into each other as he climbs the bed. of course, his lips are all over yours, smearing your dark lipstick over his gentle face, across some of the stubble over his lip. he looks like a michelangelo statue, feels like one as you trail a hand down his chest, too.
"i'm a what?" he wants you to finish your sentence, just because he needs to get you used to how he wants you to be — polite and caring.
"u're a... mhh." you whisper as he cradles your knee, all pinch-faced when he presses into your folds with the thick head of his cock. "a... a — fuck! mmh,"
"suddenly you cannot speak?"
you shake your head, not trying to give the adjective any more of your attention when your perfect boyfriend is on top of you, squeezing the flesh on your thigh.
"sorry, didn't catch that." he's being funny— thinks you care about stupid manners when he's slowly easing inside of you. it's half of his impressive girth to start with, only enough to get you going, but not enough to make you obedient. he waits for you to nod, giving him those perfect puppy eyes.
"n-no! fuck, dad-daddy," you moan, eyes fluttering shut as he finally turns that uncomfortable stretch into a searing, beautiful one. you dig your claws further into him.
but... he stops. like, dead in his tracks.
you have to pull yourself together so you can open your eyes and see him staring down at you. you can't read it, but he's not mad, not surprised either.
just... indifferent.
then, the worst comes to be — he pulls out. half-soft and turned the fuck off, it's absurd. you're left gasping for answers, clawing for understanding as you scurry to catch your breath. "n-nanami?"
his back is turned to you, fist pressed to his forehead as he contemplates painfully. he lets out a rugged breath. "that was terrible, please never do it again."
"what?" you feel belittled and stupid, but you genuinely felt him soften on impact inside of you. combing back through your drunken words, you can't find a reason.
surely, it wasn't the husky daddy that left your stained lips.
"i'm not your father, and you are not a child."
so, you mumble out the name you know he prefers when he starts to walk away, leaving you half-fucked and extremely dissatisfied.
"sir..?"

cost of betrayal

word count: 1.7k.

a/n: i stand Sofia and Rafe, guys. need them together asap 🙏
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“I think I told you to get the fuck out of my house, Y/N?” It’s the first thing you hear when Rafe walks through the front door of his house, throwing his bag on the floor and walking right past you, not even looking in your direction. You get up from the couch, wiping your sweaty hands on your pants.
Your chest feels tight, and your eyes are still swollen and red from the amount of crying as you silently follow him to the kitchen. That one stupid decision can cost you everything, including the man you love, and for the past few days, all you have been able to do is cry and curse yourself for being so stupid.
You stop when Rafe leans forward with his hands on the counter, his back is unusually tense, you feel anger radiating from him even from a distance and it’s all your fault, you know that.
“We need to talk.” You whisper, coming closer and hugging yourself with your arms.
“I have nothing to talk to you about.”
“Rafe, please. I need to explain.” He turns around suddenly, blue eyes colder than you have ever seen. You almost step back from Rafe’s intense gaze, because never before were you at the receiving end of that look. He was nothing but sweet and kind to you during your entire relationship, so losing that privilege hurts you even more.
He tries to hold back, tries to calm himself down at the image of your looking at him so sadly, with regret written all over your face. Rafe breathes heavily, trying to hide the pain of feeling played by you—the only person he thought he could trust wholeheartedly. He hates that even now, even with the anger raging inside him, he still feels that instinct to protect you, to calm you.
Hurts at the realisation that he doesn't want to lose you, that a part of him feels like he cannot survive without you, that even after what you’ve done he can’t let you go. He doesn’t want you to actually leave him alone.
“The fuck you need to explain? The way you betrayed me, huh?” He takes slow steps towards you, intimidating, almost threatening, but his voice shakes with emotions. “The way you went behind my back with that bitch Hollis to screw me up and make me lose my money? I fucking trusted you, I gave you everything and you still did that to me.” Rafe’s face was just inches from yours and you were unable to take your eyes from his, unable to even deny it, because he was not wrong.
“I know, Rafe, I know!” You sob, unable to hold back your tears. “I never wanted to hurt you, I never meant to set you up like that. I was angry at you and she appeared at that exact moment, and...
“She was fucking angry!” He yells, throwing his hands up in the air. You flinch but still stay your ground.
“Because you hurt me, Rafe!”
“Bullshit. I did nothing but take care of you.”
“I heard what you told your friends.” You yell back, not caring about trying to communicate properly anymore. You were wrong for doing that, yes, but the way his words made you feel at that moment was probably the worst pain you’ve ever experienced, so it wasn’t like you were the only one to blame. “That you’re not living with a pogue, that you have standards, that we’re just hooking up... I heard it all, Rafe. How did you expect me to react to that, huh?”
You see a slight shift of recognition or even regret in his eyes, but he quickly goes back to his previous coldness.
“So you made me lose my money because of this shit?”
“I know that it was wrong, okay? But... but do you understand what I felt at that moment? Do you understand how much it hurt me to hear it?” You sob again, desperately trying to wise away all of the tears that were streaming down your face. You’re barely able to speak properly with the lump in your throat, but you push it away because you feel there’s only one chance for you to get things straight with Rafe.
He stays silent, his brows are knitted, whether in still-lingering anger or in a hint of regret and frustration because of the way you were feeling. Rafe always hated seeing you cry, seeing you hurt in any type of way, even if he hasn’t always been able to admit or express it, and now part of him is more angry at himself than at you. Your trembling frame, the way your shoulders shake with each sob, chips away at his anger, leaving only the fear of losing you.
“We’ve been together for more than a year, Rafe. I— I thought that it meant something to you. That I mean something to you. I was hoping that maybe all of your kook and pogue bullshit was long forgotten, but you didn’t even hesitate to say that to Topper.” Your voice is filled with sadness and despair, and you are aware that you are probably looking a mess right now. All  you can do is just wipe your face with the loose sleeves of your shirt, sniffing in between your words and trying to make your voice less shaky.
"How was I supposed to feel?" How would you feel if you were in my situation, Rafe? If I said you did not mean anything to me and I was just having a good time?" You ask, but don’t get an answer. Instead, he just looks at you silently, with a blank expression, because he knows that he would’ve gone absolutely crazy. “I love you. I did for a long time, but you made me feel as if I was nothing to you. Just another pogue that you despise, that you keep around for fun until you find someone better and just dump!” Placing a hand on your violently beating heart, you take a deep breath before continuing.
“It was stupid. I regretted it as soon as I did it and I wanted to tell you, but you had already signed the contract. I know I hurt you with what I did. But can you really say you didn’t hurt me first?”
“Maybe I shouldn’t have said it. I didn’t… I didn’t mean it like that. He finally mutters, his voice quieter now. “But you don’t get it, Y/N. All my life, everyone’s expected me to be a certain way, to follow the same fucking rules I don’t even believe in. I thought… I thought if I kept us under the radar, I’d protect you from that. And you know how hard it is for me to open up—that I don’t want to let people in because everyone ends up leaving me.”
“I never meant to betray you, I never wanted to be another person who hurts you, Rafe.” You feel like you are about to collapse, burying your face in your hands and crying.
It feels like a joke of your spiraling mind at first, but when your body suddenly gets embraced in a familiar warmth and scent, you break down completely. Rafe hugs you around your shoulders and you wrap your hands around his waist, gripping the back of his shirt and hiding your face in his chest. You’re sniffing and trembling, unable to breathe properly, until you feel his hand at the back of your head and his low voice shushing you.
“Breathe, baby. Just breathe. ‘S okay.” He rocks both of you from side to side until your breathing straightens. The steady beating of his heart soothes you quickly, until your tears get dry on your face. “I shouldn’t have said that. I’m sorry. I was an idiot for not protecting you the way I should’ve.” You feel him slightly leaning down. Slow, delicate kisses being left on your temple, on your cheek, and with a slight movement of your head, Rafe’s able to capture your lips.
Your face is still sticky with tears, and your lips are swollen, but neither of you care as you start to melt against him. It’s been way to long since he left for Morocco. The stress that you’ve experienced from your fight and from the fact that you were going crazy about his safety was overwhelming.
While he was kissing you slowly, you both realized how hard it was to stay apart for that long, not sure of what was happening between you two.
“I’m sorry that you lost so much money because of me.” You mumbled when he pulled away, resting his forehead on yours.
“You know it’s not the damn money I actually care about. I thought that I was wrong about you, that I lost you, Y/N.” You shake your head against his, caressing the sides of his face with your hands.
Rafe lifts his free hand that was not holding your waist, placing it on top of your hand and you see the way his tense shoulders immediately relax at the feeling of his mother’s ring still on your finger.
“We’re making it official. I don’t care about this pogue bullshit, don’t care about whatever Topper with his crazy bitch or other kooks think about it. I’m not wasting my time anymore.” You smile through happy tears now, looking Rafe in the eyes, seeing that familiar warmth that you were afraid to never experience again. He smirks back at you, holding you tighter against his chest. “No more hiding and lying, yeah, baby? I love you.”
“Y-yes. No more of that stuff. I love you too, Ray.” You giggle before he drags you even closer to kiss you again.

——— ౨ৎ ⊹ ࣪ ˖
“a rabbit.”
“gods no.”
you huff, breath fanning percy’s neck. “seahorse? turtle? oooo, a fawn!”
“are those legal as pets?”
you shrug. “I’m not sure. but they’re cute.”
two hours. for two hours you had attempted to name every pet-worthy animal under the sun. once you move out of camp, you’d no longer to see your beloved penny everyday per usual, so you had asked percy about getting a pet of your own.
so far, he had said yes to a dog, maybe to a cat, yes to fish, and no to everything else. though it’s most likely you’ll just end up deciding on a puppy after all.
percy’s fingers skim your spine in a soothing up and down motion while you press, what you hope are seducing enough to get him to agree, kisses to his neck.
“I think our best bet is a dog.”
you groan and melodramatically drape your arms around his neck. “I want something exotic!”
“I’m pretty sure you’re exotic enough for this entire planet, sweet girl.”
“okay— fuck you, perseus.”
he laughs and kisses the top of your head. “are you creating a to-do list?”
“yeah. and the first task is to beat the shit out of you.”
“and how do you know I won’t like that?”
you sigh and close your eyes, calming yourself with pecks to his jawline. “then I’ll do something you’ll hate.”
“which would be…?” his voice trails in question.
you have to think for a moment before your response. a lightbulb illuminates in your brain. “be right back!”
you quickly jump out of percy’s arms, tucking your hair behind your ears as you rush to your dresser. you open your designated drawer and take out one of his old shirts, slipping it on over your head before jumping back to bed.
“so, where were we?”
percy pouts like a child after being told he can’t have candy. “this is foul play, sweet girl.” he takes the edge of the shirt between his fingers, glaring at the fabric like it insulted him.
“if you want it off, you’ll have to earn it.”
his gaze returns to your eyes. “how? I’ll give you two-hundred dollars right now if you strip tease for me.”
you slap his head. “you’re not earning it that way!”
“okay…” he takes your wrist, kissing your palm and each fingertip. “then how do I earn it? you gotta give me something here, sweet girl.”
“not with money.” you shake your head and place your free hand over his heart. it beats calmly. “with this.”
“my… naked self?”
you take your hand back defensively. “no, dipshit! your feelings!”
“oh!” percy sits up as fast as possible. “I’ve waited my whole life for this moment—” he clears his throat. “‘it’s not gonna be easy. it’s going to be really hard; we’re gonna have to work at this every day, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, forever, every day’—”
“why the fuck are you quoting the notebook at me right now?”
“because it’s the most romantic movie ever,” percy says in a matter-of-fact voice.
“try that again.” you make a circle movement with your index.
he holds up his index before reciting with perfect rhythm, “‘I want to be the friend you fall hopelessly in love with. the one you take into your arms and into your bed and into the private world you keep trapped in your head. I want to be that kind of friend.’”
you sit, gaping. percy looks to proud of himself and it almost makes you want to keep teasing. “you have that memorized?”
he nods casually. “it took me three hours to actually read it… then rereading it took another hour, but yeah.”
you pout happily and tug him into a tight hug. “why?”
“because I can recite that way sexier than that blond dude. and I know you love him. and I love you, so full circle!”
you kiss the top of his head. you might regret saying this later however, “so, a strip tease you requested?”

“So, when does the new guy start?” Steve asks, spinning away on the chair behind the counter while Robin restocks the candy display.
“Friday,” she says, nearly dropping a Snickers bar.
Steve stops spinning abruptly, going a little dizzy. “We have the closing shift on Fridays,” he says and Robin makes a vague noise of assent. “Does that mean I’m stuck on closing duty with the new guy?”
“Yes.”
Slumping back on the chair, Steve groans. “Robin!”
“What? It’s not my fault my dad is dragging us out of town to visit his family, dingus!” She snaps, throwing her hands up in the air. The Snickers bar lands on the carpet. “You know I hate my dad’s side of the family, I will be miserable too.”
Steve sighs. He’s heard enough stories about Grandma Buckley to know that Robin is telling the truth. “It’s just that the thought of working an entire week without you is–”
Robin cuts him off with a strangled, “Uh.”
“What?”
“Did I say one week?” She asks sheepishly. Steve narrows his eyes at her. “More like, two.”
“Robin!”
**
Friday comes much too soon.
It’s not that Steve has ever been excited to go to work, but knowing that Robin won’t be there makes this shift seem ten times worse. Especially when he knows he has to show the ropes to some high school kid who wants to be there probably even less than Steve does.
As he drags himself through his morning routine, he weighs the pros and cons of quitting but ultimately decides against it– he enjoys free movies and working with his best friend far too much.
Eventually he makes it to Family Video, ten minutes before opening time and finds that Keith left behind a mess like he always does. There are empty Cheez Balls bags behind the counter and half finished soda cans, one of which got knocked over at some point, spilling soda on the carpet.
Grumbling, Steve crouches down to pick up the other ones before they end up spilled over too. While ducked down behind the counter, the door to Family Video opens and the bell chimes.
“Greetings!” A vaguely familiar voice says.
Steve checks his watch. Five minutes till ten. “Sorry, man, we’re not open yet.”
“Actually, I work here,” that same voice says. Right, Robin’s replacement. Steve totally forgot about him for a second. The voice sounds deeper than he expected, not that of a high school kid and it definitely sounds familiar.
Standing up, he realizes why when he sees–
“Eddie Munson, reporting for duty,” the guy says, offering Steve a dorky soldier salute.
Steve blinks. Eddie Munson isn’t who he expected at all. He doesn’t know him personally but he knows of him. Still in highschool, despite being older than Steve. A nerd. A metalhead. Can be found selling drugs in the woods behind the school. Likes to stand up on tables and complain loudly about The Man. Not necessarily the poster child for a stellar employee.
Steve’s nose scrunches up. “I thought you sold weed, not movies.”
Eddie snorts but Steve’s bitchy tone doesn’t seem to affect him. “I’m branching out,” he says with a shrug. Then he leans his elbows on the counter. “So what’s first, boss?”
“First,” he starts, grabbing a spare vest from behind the counter. “You put this on.”
Now it’s Eddie’s face that scrunches up. “Do I have to?” He asks, eyeing the green piece of clothing like it personally offended him.
Steve’s lips tug up at the corners. He shrugs. “Company policy, Munson.”
With a sigh, he reaches for the vest and shrugs it on. It definitely doesn’t go with the metalhead look he’s got going on but it doesn’t look bad either, in fact–
“Green looks good on you,” he blurts out before he can stop himself. Jesus Christ, why did he say that?
Luckily, Eddie takes it as a joke, glaring half-heartedly at Steve. “Fuck off, Harrington,” he says, shaking his curls out. “Okay, what now?”
Steve ignores the sudden urge to reach out and smooth down Eddie’s curls and gestures at him to follow him to the return bin. “Now we start by processing overnight returns.”
“Fun!” Eddie says with feigned cheerfulness, trailing behind Steve.
“You gotta make sure the right tape is in the case and separate those that are rewound from the ones that aren’t. Think you can do that?”
“Piece of cake, Your Majesty,” Eddie says, throwing a wink over his shoulder that makes Steve’s stomach flutter a little.
He brushes it off and leaves Eddie to it, focusing on cleaning Keith’s mess and doing his best to ignore his new coworker’s humming.
**
Steve walks Eddie through the rest of their morning routine– logging the returns into the system, restocking the candy display, facing tapes. He teaches him how to use the rewinding machine and the cash register. All of that before a single customer comes in.
“Is it always this dead?” Eddie asks, sticking another tape into the rewinding machine. He got the hang of it pretty quickly and Steve was happy to let him take over, even if he’s determined to be annoying about it and make weird noises with his mouth while the tape is being rewound.
“Mornings usually are,” Steve says, looking away from Eddie’s mouth and back to the computer where he’s supposed to be logging tapes in. “We’ll probably get a small rush around lunch.”
“How do you pass the time then?”
“Uh, by working?”
“Bo-ring!” Eddie loudly says, making Steve jump. “You work at a video rental, Harrington, don’t you guys watch movies?”
“Well, most of the time Robin and I can’t agree on one.”
Eddie leans back against the counter and looks Steve up and down. He tries not to squirm under his gaze. “Mm yeah, you look like you have bad taste.”
Steve scoffs. “How do you know it isn’t Robin’s movies that are bad?”
Shrugging, Eddie turns his attention back to the rewinding machine. “I just do, Stevie.”
Stevie.
The name has Steve blurting out some lie about being out of plastic bags and heading to the backroom, his cheeks pinking up.
He stays there for at least five minutes trying to make his blush go away.
**
Steve’s gotta hand it to Eddie– he handles the lunch rush pretty well.
It’s not the same as working with Robin but it definitely beats working with Keith, who disappears into his office for most of their shift, even during the busiest hours.
Despite doing his job well, Eddie still insists on being annoying about everything he does. He starts arguments with customers over which movie they pick, steals candy from the display when he thinks Steve isn’t looking–
“Steve! Help, the cash register is stuck!”
Excusing himself to the elderly couple he’d been helping, Steve steps behind the counter where he smacks his hand against the cash register, making it work again.
Eddie huffs out a snort. “Thanks, big boy,” he says, and a shudder travels down Steve’s spine.
That’s another annoying thing. The names.
Stevie. Big boy. They make his face flush, his stomach flip flop and his tongue trip over its words.
“Uh, sure, yeah. It’s– uh, no problem.”
Jesus Christ, he used to be smooth. Then again, he used to be the one doing the flirting.
Not that Eddie is flirting with him.
For some reason, that thought makes Steve’s stomach twist again, this time with disappointment.
**
“I saw that,” Steve says when Eddie grabs a Snickers bar from the candy display in what he thinks is a subtle way. It’s not.
“I’m not doing anything!”
“You keep stealing candy.”
Shrugging, Eddie pulls back the wrapping and takes a bite. “I’m just making use of my employee discount,” he says through a mouthful of chocolate.
Steve snorts, leaning on the broom he’s using to clean the mess a kid left behind when he opened a bag of chips and they exploded. “That’s not a thing.”
“Well,” Eddie says, waving his chocolate bar. “It should be.”
“I’ll be sure to tell Keith,” Steve says sarcastically before going back to sweeping.
Eddie goes back to cleaning the sticky counter where another kid spilled his soda. “What about movies?”
“Mm?”
“Do I get a discount for renting movies?” He asks, scrubbing away at a particular stubborn stain, his tongue peeking out in concentration. Steve’s eyes get stuck on it and he forgets he’s supposed to be sweeping and that Eddie just asked him a question.
“Oh, well, technically no, but no one will know if you take it with you and return it the next day,” Steve says with a shrug.
Eddie’s eyes sparkle. “Didn’t take you for a rule breaker, sweetheart.”
Steve’s fingers tighten around the broom handle so hard he worries it might snap, his stomach filling with what feels like a swarm of butterflies.
God damnit, he thinks. He can’t get a crush on a coworker again.
Especially when things wouldn’t go any differently with Eddie from how they did with Robin.
**
“So what’s the deal with you and Buckley?” Eddie asks when they’re alone again after the afternoon rush. He’s shamelessly munching on a string of licorice since Steve has long since given up on stopping him from stealing candy. He’ll just tweak the inventory later, it’s fine.
What’s not fine is that Eddie’s lips are tinted red from sucking on the candy, which makes them incredibly distracting for Steve.
“What?” He asks, having completely missed Eddie’s question.
“I said– what’s the deal with you and Buckley? Are you guys together or something? You talk about her a lot, dude.”
“Oh, no. No, man. No way.”
Eddie raises an eyebrow. “She’s not cool enough for you?”
“Actually she might be cooler than me,” Steve says with a fond smile. “Just don’t tell her I said that. She’s– she’s my best friend but she’ll still be insufferable about it.”
“So you don’t like her?” Eddie asks curiously. “Like like her?”
Steve can’t help but snort. “I know you’re still in high school, Munson, but really? Like like?”
Eddie simply rolls his eyes.
“I don’t, not like that,” Steve says, shrugging. “I kinda did when we worked together last summer, but she didn’t like me back.”
Eddie’s eyebrows shoot up in his face. “She wasn’t interested in you?” He asks and when Steve shakes his head, he adds, “Damn. Maybe Buckley’s the one with bad taste, after all.”
Steve cocks his head. “What?”
“Nothing,” Eddie quickly says, taking a bite from the candy before holding it out to Steve. “Want some?”
Steve’s eyes follow Eddie’s tongue as he licks over his red lips, leaving them wet and shiny.
Boy, does he ever, he thinks, the words dangerously balancing at the tip of his tongue.
Luckily, a customer comes in and Eddie’s attention drifts elsewhere but it takes a little longer for Steve to snap out of his thoughts of tasting the candy straight from Eddie’s lips.
**
A girl walks up to the counter but Steve doesn’t notice her until she waves her hand in front of his face and says, “Hi.”
He was too busy watching Eddie as he gestured wildly at a group of nerdy teens that asked for a movie recommendation.
“Hi, welcome to Family Video,” Steve says sheepishly, turning his attention to her. “What can I help you with?”
The girl asks for a recommendation too but it’s clear that she’s just using it as an excuse to talk to Steve, probably hoping that he’ll ask her out. She’s pretty and nice, and Steve would probably enjoy taking her out, but as of seven hours ago, he’s had his eyes set on someone else.
Someone who, once the girl and the teens leave the store, walks up to Steve, ruefully shaking his head.
“Damn, Harrington, no wonder you’re single,” Eddie says, leaning his elbows on the counter.
Steve’s eyebrows knit together. “What?”
“That chick was obviously interested in you!”
“Oh,” Steve says, looking over Eddie’s shoulder at the girl as she gets into her car. “I guess.”
“Why didn’t you ask her out?”
Steve simply shrugs. He can’t exactly admit that he doesn’t feel like asking anyone out unless it’s him.
Eddie rolls his eyes and huffs. “Unbelievable.”
“You can go and ask her out yourself if you’re so offended,” Steve says bitchily, though the words come out sounding a little more bitter than he’d like.
With a sarcastic laugh, Eddie says, “First of all, she wouldn’t want to go out with a guy like me. Second of all, I wouldn’t want her to.”
“Not nerdy enough for you?” Steve asks, resting his elbows on the counter too, their faces only a couple of inches apart.
It gives him a good view of Eddie nervously biting on his bottom lip before he says, “Not guy enough for me.”
Oh.
“Oh.”
“Yeah. Oh.”
He sees Eddie almost imperceptibly gear up for whatever Steve is going to do next. He remembers Robin doing the same thing once, and can’t help but think about what this means. That he might have a chance with Eddie after all.
“Well, I’m sure a– a hot guy will come around that you can ask out,” he stammers out, feeling his cheeks warming up– from the proximity, the anticipation, the way Eddie’s eyes dart down to his lips and back up again, his mouth ticking up at the corners–
“You might be right, pretty boy.”
**
Closing time comes faster than Steve expected.
Eddie actually proves very helpful, and in no time, the two of them are done and walking out of the store.
Eddie hovers as Steve locks the door. “I guess I’ll see you tomorrow,” he says, shoving his hands into his jacket.
“You better,” Steve says, bumping their shoulders together. “Don’t leave me hanging, Munson, weekends are busy.”
“Don’t worry, I’ll be here. I actually had fun working with you, Harrington.”
Steve’s stomach flutters. “You weren’t so bad yourself.”
Eddie laughs as they reach the parking lot. Steve can see Eddie’s van parked in the opposite direction of his Beemer, but instead of heading that way, Eddie scruffs his feet against the pavement. “You know maybe we, uh, we could take a movie home sometime and watch it together?”
Oh. Now Steve’s stomach fills with a million butterflies, at least. “Yeah, I’d like that.”
Eddie bites his lip around a smile. “Alright, pretty boy. Goodnight.”
“Goodnight, Eddie.”
With a two fingered salute, Eddie whirls around and starts walking towards his van. Steve walks over to his car with a smile.
He’s actually excited for the next two weeks. Who would’ve thought?

In Chicago, I Feel It
༼Part Five༽
Warnings: SMUT (only a bit/very mild), dirty talk (sorta), breeding kink(?), idk I just work here, NOLAN finally makes an appearance, spoiler: he doesn’t like you :(, ceremonial clothes (dress), awkward Viltrumite Mark is my favorite Mark
Tumblr media
“That’s it— fuck.”
A high pitched, needy whine leaves your throat, nails digging into his shoulders, “M-Mark.” He groans, pushing in deeper, “Feels so… good. Fuck.”
The muscles in your thighs are straining, throbbing in pain from being stretched for so long. “Can’t,” you cry, shoving at his chest, “It’s too much.” “You can,” he growls, an order, “You will. I’m going to fill you so much it’s leaking out. And then I’m putting more in.” Your walls clench around him. He chuckles, dark and low beside your ear, “You gave yourself over to me, you knew what was going to happen.”
A sob punches from your chest. You can’t even hate him because it’s true. You agreed you agreed to let him mate with you. But the moment you stripped before him, bare and vulnerable, he was on you. Eager and aggressive.
“You made me wait so long. I’m done being patient,” he mumbles, shifting his hips back before thrusting forward, filling you with one push of his hips.
Your thighs twitch and your back arches which only pushes him deeper. Mark groans, the grip on your hips tightening.
“Don’t. Move,” he commands.
I couldn’t even if I wanted to.
Slowly, your breathing evens out, back falling against the bed, muscles easing. “You’re going to look so sexy as a mom,” he mumbles, starting with slow thrusts, “Can’t wait to see your stomach get big and beautiful when you’re carrying our child.”
He’s never called your future baby ‘child’ , it's always ‘offspring’. You know something is wrong. But then the tip of his cock kisses your cervix and your brain whites out.
“I love you.”
〤〤〤
You startle awake, breathing slightly heavy.
“Are you alright?”
You startle, turning to look at him. Mark’s standing in the door, breakfast tray in hands, frowning. “I’m,” you swallow the lump in your throat, “Yeah. Yeah, I’m okay. Weird dream.” Mark looks unconvinced but nods anyway. He walks over to you, offering you the tray, “It’ll be a busy day today. Once you’ve eaten and showered, we have to leave.”
You sit up, taking the tray from him, your insides squirming as your fingers brush against his own.
“What time is the speech,” you ask. “Noon,” he replies, sitting on the edge of the bed, “You sure you don’t want to talk to the people?” You shake your head. Mark nods, “Very well.” He gently squeezes your leg and stands, “We have to be there by eleven but other than that, we’re not on a schedule. Take your time.”
You take advantage of it, eating and showering slower than usual. The dream lingered in your mind. You were disgusted with your mind for even thinking about having sex with him. Let alone— enjoying it.
“What is this?”
Mark looks up from the papers he’s reading on the desk, eyes drifting from you to the clothes laid out on the bed. “A ceremonial Viltrumite outfit,” he answers, slow. Like he knows you won’t like his response. “I’m not giving a speech,” you mumble, rubbing at the bruises along your throat, “Why do I have to wear one?”
Make stares at the dress. Like he’s trying to burn it. To rid it of its existence.
“My father will be there,” he says, hands balling into fists, “Annisa has probably already informed him of you. I know it’s not ideal— but I really need him to like you. Or tolerate you.”
“Tolerate?”
His eyes snap up to meet yours, “Wrong word— look, my father is a very … specific man. He doesn’t believe Viltrumites should breed with anyone who isn’t another Viltrumite. Just— don’t talk, okay? I’ll do all the talking.” You stare at him for a long time.
You look back down at the dress or whatever Mark called it earlier. You fidget with the bracelet before speaking, “Should I style my hair in a specific way or something?” Mark frowns, “Why?” You look up at him, “Some cultures have specific traditions for wearing ceremonial outfits. It makes the person look prettier.” Marks face softens slightly, “You look fine the way you are now.”
You look down at yourself, covered in a towel and making a puddle on the floor.
You look back up at him, “Really?” Mark rolls his eyes, “Just get dressed. We have to leave soon to make it on time.”
The dress is a tight fit but that’s probably just Viltrumite clothing. Mark’s clothes are two sizes too small.
“Okay we have to go—“
Mark stops in his tracks. The world stills.
“What,” you ask, rubbing at the bruises on your neck subconsciously, “What’s wrong?” He swallows and doesn’t answer for a long moment.
“Woah.”
A blush instantly spreads across your cheeks, “You…” Mark shakes his head and his expression hardens again, “Come on. We’re gonna be late.” He ushers you out of the door, hand a little lower than usual.
〤〤〤
“If you were going to fly, why did we have to leave so fast?”
Mark huffs, “Planes do nothing but pollute the air. Besides, I can only fly so fast with a human passenger— your lungs and body aren’t adapted to traveling faster than sound.” You blink, “You can fly that fast?” He nods. You swallow, straightening out your dress.
Mark grabs your shoulders, “Listen. Very carefully. If you thought Annisa had power, you haven’t even scratched the surface of Viltrumite power. My father will not hesitate to kill you—“
Cause that makes me feel better.
“— but I won’t let him, understand? Don’t talk, let me talk. And stay behind the curtain when I give the speech. That’s all you have to do,” he instructs. You blink, “If all I am is eye candy why did I have to come?” Mark pauses, “My mom wants to meet you. And I have a surprise.”
“A what—“
“Close your eyes,” Mark interrupts. You stare at him but eventually comply, eyes fluttering closed. You yelp when Mark picks you up. “Keep them closed, my flower. I was told it’s a tradition to do surprises like this.”
“Who told you that,” you ask. “Katie,” he replies, “She’s been very helpful in understanding human things.” Something swirls around your heart; a black vine with thorns, sinking deep into your chest.
Jealousy?
No. Not possible.
“Why are you asking Katie,” you mumble, “I can tell you about human things.” Mark gently squeezes your hip, “Would you?” “Well— I don’t know everything but I can tell you a lot,” you argue. Mark huff, “Okay, flower. I’ll come to you first from now on.”
A few moments of comfortable silence falls before Mark stops and slowly sets you back onto your feet. “You can open now.”
Your eyes open immediately, impatient to know what the surprise was.
The world has already crashed and burned. Can it happen twice in one lifetime?
Sam is in front of you, a small tired smile on her face. She looks beaten up but alive.
You feel sick again.
Mark's hands fall to your waist to keep you upright.
“Sam—“
She’s hugging you. Your whole body goes rigid, arms limp at your sides. “You’re okay,” she sighs, “He said you would be but—“ She leans back, eyes darting to your neck. Her face falls, “Did he—“
“No,” you say immediately, “No. He saved me.” She sighs, smiling, glancing back at Mark before settling back on you, “Promise?” You nod. She nods in turn then pulls you in for another hug. Mark gently squeezes your hips before letting go. With a shaky breath, you return the hug.
“I missed you,” she mumbles, “So much.”
You tighten your grip around her, burying your face in the crook of her neck, “You’re okay. I wasn’t sure if …”
“Mark!”
Mark grabs you suddenly, pulling you away from her. A soft choked sound punched from your throat. “Samantha, you need to leave,” he says, voice low, “Now.” She glances at you, mouthing a soft ‘stay safe’ before disappearing behind the curtain.
Mark turns back at you, “Keep your head down. And don’t say a word.”
“But—“
He holds your face in his hands, “Please.” You nod. He sighs, kissing your forehead before turning back, face stoic once again. You shift behind him and lower your gaze.
“Mark,” a deep voice calls out, “There you are! I’ve been looking for you.” “Father,” Mark responds, voice monotone. Your not looking at him but you can feel the hairs on the back of your neck stand when his gaze falls to you, “I see you brought your pet.” Mark’s hands ball into fists behind his back. Without thinking, you reach up, gently laying your hand over his own.
You tell yourself it’s so he doesn’t go berserk and kill everyone. But it brings you both a sense of comfort.
“Yes,” Mark replies after a moment. “And she’s in our ceremonial clothing,” his father adds, “Disgrace.” It takes everything in you not to flinch. “It’s protocol, father,” Mark defends. The man scoffs, “I heard what happened with Annisa. I’m glad she left her mark on such a weak picking.” Mark’s grip on your hand tightens. “Annisa attacked her without being provoked. She comes near my … pet again I will kill her. I’ve already made that very clear,” Mark explains.
Mark's father is silent for an unnerving amount of time, “Very well. We have a speech to give anyways. Let us go.” Mark gently squeezes your hand before he lets go, “Lead the way.” Mark and his father leave.
“You can look up now, dear.”
Your gaze snaps up to meet a soft voice. The woman smiles, “I’m Debbie. That was my husband, Nolan. And you know my son, Mark.”
“I’m—“
“I know, dear,” Debbie smiles, “You’re Mark’s favorite thing to talk about, ya know? Everytime we talk, he mentions you. I haven’t seen that boy smile since he was a toddler.” Something flutters in your stomach. Butterflies? No way. “I know it’s scary, but that boy does care about you,” Debbie continues, “I know that sounds weird, but it’s true.”
“Because he wants to reproduce with me?”
Debbie pauses, “You two haven’t … oh my. He should’ve done it the first night he had you.” She sighs and smiles, “If Nolan asks, you two have been trying, okay? For your own safety.” You blink, “I’m confused.” Debbie shakes her head, “Viltrumites don’t ask before they take. Whether it’s planets or people.”
“He didn’t really … ask. I just said I wasn’t ready,” you mumble. “Oh dear,” she whispers, “Maybe he cares for you more than I thought.” Before you could ask her to clarify, the lights dimmed and you could hear the faint sound of microphone feedback.
〤〤〤
“Mark … can I ask you something?”
He looks at you, brushing hair from your face, “Yes?” You swallow, “Why haven’t you … tried to reproduce with me?” Mark freezes, “Are you ready?” You look away, “I don’t know. It’s just … your mom said Viltrumites don’t usually wait this long. I was wondering if you had second thoughts.” Mark gently cups your face and turns your head back to look at him, “I am not my father. I am not Annisa. I will not force myself on someone. Especially you.”
“Why?”
“Humans are … not what I was expecting. Yes, they were killing their own planet and some of them are horrible but … you are one of the good ones. Not just because you were a hero. I watched you for those three weeks, watched you help people when you yourself were on the verge of collapsing. You are strong in ways Viltrumites do not grasp. And for that I wish to never break. So if I have to wait a hundred years for you to accept my offer then I will.”
You swallow the lump on your throat. You don’t have the heart to tell him your biological clock runs out in twenty-ish years.
Without thinking, you surge forward, wrapping your arms around him, burying your face in the crook of his neck. “And … if I never do,” you ask. Marks wraps his arms around you, “My bloodline has to continue one way or another. But you will not be thrown away if you do not want me.” You breathe a sigh of relief, “Do you have someone else in mind?”
“No,” he responds immediately, “Which means my father will be in charge of who it is. Which means—“
“Annisa,” you finish for him. Mark tightens his grip around you, “Yes.”
“Mark?”
“Yes, my flower?”
“I won’t let you wait that long.”

f Took you Like a Shot (fratboy gojo x sorority reader) Here's one final preview!
Its Here
MDNI- teasing, nipple sucking, Gojo being an ass but sweet aha
Tumblr media
He’s exhaling, breath hot against your lips, lips you’ve bitten to death in attempts to hold back, what’s glimmering to the surface.
“We hate each other, I don’t want that, not for this baby.”
You blink rapidly, your own hand slipping up his chest, feeling his heart race as it does. “I don’t want it either. I want them to have loving parents, even if we’re not together.”
Together.
Satoru’s never dated, he’s had women in and out of his bed since he turned eighteen, sometimes multiple girls in one night, chasing some feeling that he has never gotten, except with you. But even after that night, he never contemplated it, dating someone, being with them, was he worthy of that, especially with you? He couldn’t even give you his jacket.
Suddenly he takes it off, making you giggle when he wraps you with it. “It’s not cold inside the car, silly.”
“I suck, I’m an idiot and… I am not a gentleman, at all.”
“Satoru…” He shakes his head as you cut him off.
“No, it’s true. I was fucked up before an important day for us, and I couldn’t even give you my jacket tonight when I saw you freezing.” You pull it closer, when he’s brushing a hand under it, right on your waist, sending shivers down your spine.
“You’re doing fine all things considered, I wasn’t kidding. I am proud that you stepped up, it means a lot to me, okay?”
“Don’t be so nice.” You glare, making him moan softly at how sexy you always are when you do.
“You’re being nice, too.”
“I know. Everything I’m thinking, though baby?” He’s got his other hand entangled in your hair, and you can’t stop the soft cry from escaping your lips. “It's filthy.”
“Filthy, huh?” Your voice is just a breathy whisper, he can't stop thinking just how cute you are.
“You can’t begin to imagine what I’m thinking. Seeing these rock hard all fucking day, so full already.” He’s gripping your tits then, squishing one in his palm, and a thumb brushing over it, making your hips roll, pressing your eager cunt against the seat, dying for the friction, while he’s so close you can taste him. “They want to get sucked on, don’t they sweetheart?”
You nod wordlessly, earning Satoru’s moan as he presses you down on the seat then, his own jacket falling under you, hand pushing down your dress, revealing your pretty breasts to his view. You gasp when he brushes his thumb on them, bare, lowering his snowy head, and you’re frozen there, trying to remember all the years you hated him, he hated you.
Why can’t you think of anything but how bad you want him?
“Shouldn’t I take care of you, too? Don’t you ache baby?” He’s murmuring, mouth hovering, as he just barely brushes his lips on them.
“S-sensitive…” He presses another kiss, and your hands entangle in his silky locks, cunt so wet it’s making your panties sticky.
“Sensitive, then do you want me to make them feel good?”
“Should we… ah!” He’s lapping at your nipple with his talented tongue, swirling your nipple, and your moan fills the car, to the point you’re sure poor Kiyotaka could hear you, making you slam a hand on your mouth. Satoru chuckles, little shit that he is, lapping at the other one.
“You want it so bad, don’t you? Don’t worry, I’ve got you.”

Cw: brief mention of past childhood abuse/trauma, talk of not being good parents. This is representation for the girlies (gn) that are unsure about being parents/know they don’t want kids! You’re perfect and valid
Sirius Black x fem!reader (one use of girl at the end there)
“I don’t think I’d want to have kids.” You say to Sirius as you lay beside him, your head on his shoulder as he tickles your back.
It’s an abrupt confession seeing as neither of you had been talking about that, but Sirius just hums.
“Any reason why, poppet?” His voice is even. To be truthful, Sirius goes back and forth with the idea too.
You take a while to elaborate; “I think having to help raise my siblings, and then dealing with all of that stress and having to correct my brother’s actions and all of that,” you take a breath. “I think it took it out of me. I also really don’t want to screw up a kid.”
Sirius nods, a kiss to your cheek. He feels you inhale against his hand and waits for you to speak again, “Would that make our relationship harder? Would it be a deal breaker?”
He pulls back to get a good look at you. “Because you don’t want babies?” When you nod, Sirius shakes his head. “No, doll. I don’t think I want kids either, but especially so if you don’t want them.”
“Don’t say that just to agree with me, Siri.” You sigh and Sirius copies you.
“I’m not. I go back and forth with it just as you do. Most days I’m leaning towards it just being me and you.” His voice is too raw and earnest for you to doubt him.
You breathe out long, “I just,” you pause, picking your words. “We’ve both had shitty childhoods, I don’t know if we’d be good parents. No one can be perfect and I don’t want to fuck up a kid that didn’t have the choice of being here; I know that much for certain.”
“I think that’s a good thing to know, babe. We aren’t what happened to us and while we’re better now, we can’t predict how we’ll be despite our best efforts with our own kids, you’re right. I wouldn’t want to fuck them up either.”
They fall when you say, “Does that make me a bad person? That I wouldn’t risk it because raising my siblings was like me having kids already and really don’t want to fuck them up like we were?”
He doesn’t like that this has been troubling you. Sirius knows you better than anyone else on planet earth and he knows for you to cry like this means you’ve thought about this a lot.
He hates that you’ve been tormenting yourself over not wanting kids for so long.
Sirius pulls you closer when your tears turn to sobs, his arms firm weight around your back as he kisses your eyes. Salty tears pass through the seam of his lips.
“That doesn’t make you a bad person, poppet. That makes you a good person actually. We can keep our family just like this. Me, you, the birds you feed in the yard and maybe a dog later down the road.”
“And a cat,” you say all sniffly and Sirius wrinkles his nose.
“If you really want a cat, I’ll get you a cat. Just no more thinking it’s wrong to not want kids.” You nod, content to let Sirius pet you as your cries slow.
“You’ll still love me the most right?” He laughs, tilting your chin up and kissing your lips.
“I love you best, silly girl. Always will, even if we had kids.” You slap his chest and Sirius shrugs. “Maybe that’s how I know I’m not cut out, I don’t think I could put someone over you.” He laughs suddenly. “Fuck that’s sounds horrid.”
You wiggle onto his chest, kissing the constellation he got for you. “Doesn’t sound horrid. Dunno if I could handle not being top of your love list.” You say teasingly and Sirius smiles, all pleased that even with your red nose and slightly puffy eyes you’re okay.
Pride blooms in his chest as it does every time he assuages your worries. “Well, you never have to worry, poppet. Now gimme a kiss and let’s finish this episode of Bake Off.”

FILL ME UP
Written for @steddiebingo Get Lucky Prompt: Shots
Rating: T | WC: 1013
Thank you @oh-stars for betaing!!
Eddie stumbles into the room, barely holding onto the shot glasses he has crowded in his hands, liquid sloshing out and dripping all along the floor.
Steve groans and gestures to the mess. “Eddie! Come on man! Can we wait to destroy this place for like a single day?”
Eddie rolls his eyes and backtracks, swiping his socks over the spilled drinks. “There!”
Steve and Robin both look up at him from the couch in horror. Eddie ignores them and carefully sets the glasses on the coffee table, nudging a shot toward each of them.
Eddie picks his up and holds it out, waiting. “Come on! We’re celebrating!”
Steve looks over to Robin and shrugs, picking his shot up. Robin rolls her eyes and grabs her. They clink glasses and throw them back with a grimace, Eddie bursting out laughing and bouncing on his feet. “I can’t believe we actually did it. No more fucking Hawkins.”
Steve grins up at him fondly and puts his glass back on the table. “Alright, Munson. Fill me up.”
Eddie’s eyes go wide, his face turning bright pink as Robin chokes on a laugh.
Steve’s brows scrunch together and he looks between them, confused. “What?”
Eddie shakes his head and scurries back to the kitchen to grab the bottle of shitty vodka. He comes back and refills all their glasses. “Nothing. Here–”
He shoots Robin a glare when she snorts again. Steve eyes them both but Eddie just leans down and clinks their glasses again. They do this round and as soon as the glasses hit the table again, Eddie refills them. He takes his shot with him to the couch, squeezing in between them and nudging Robin’s knee when she chuckles again. “Do I have to cut you off already, Buckley?”
That just makes her laugh even harder and has Steve leaning forward to look at her with a confused grin on his face. “Okay, seriously. What did I miss?”
Eddie shakes head. “Nothing! Just–” He clinks Steve’s shot with his and gives him a big smile as they down them.
Robin scoffs. “You left me out. Great. It’s been one day and I’m already being demoted to third wheel.”
Eddie rolls his eyes, leaning forward to fill his glass again, holding it out so she can clink her glass with his. “Happy?” His face scrunches as he downs the shot.
Robin nods, downing her own.
Steve shakes his head. “Why would you think you’d be the third wheel, Robs?” His voice is laced with concern.
Robin’s face drops a little, her eyes flicking to Eddie. “Uh–”
Eddie glares at her with wide eyes. He can tell she doesn’t have much of a filter right now. Maybe shots weren’t such a good idea.
Robin shrugs. “You know. Just– living here with you guys…being guys. You know. I’m the only girl.”
Steve’s brow scrunches. “Yeah but–”
Eddie snags the bottle off the table again and pours Steve another shot, effectively distracting him from the conversation at hand.
“Eds– I don’t want to get fucking wasted–” He shakes his head. “Whatever, fine.” He downs the shot and goes right back to the conversation.
Eddie sighs, his heart hammering in his chest. Great. They just moved in together and Eddie is already about to blow things with his stupid crush. He does another shot.
“You guys are being weird. What’s going on?”
Eddie feels like his face is burning bright red. They haven’t even said anything that damning. But he can feel how tense Robin is next to him, desperately fighting not to blurt out Eddie’s secret. Because Steve is asking. And Robin can’t lie for shit. Especially when she’s drunk. And Steve is looking at her like his feelings are really hurt. And now he feels like he’s driving a wedge between them, and he hates that. And it’s not like Steve doesn’t already know he’s gay. He just doesn’t know–
“I have a crush on you.” Eddie stares at his feet, the shots really taking over as his mouth runs wild. “I have a stupid crush on you, and Robin knows so when you said–” Eddie sighs and trails off, wishing he could melt directly into the couch.
Steve shakes his head. “When I said wh– wait. You have a crush on me?”
Eddie takes a deep breath and lifts his eyes to Steve, and Robin’s shocked faces and gives a tiny nod. “Yeah. I mean. I know you aren’t–”
Steve’s mouth is on his mouth. Suddenly, and very fiercely. Eddie freezes and he swears he can feel his brain whirling around in his head as he tries to understand what the fuck just happened.
Robin is cackling and muttering about it being about time, and Steve is pulling back with a shy grin, doubt filling his eyes.
“Sorry. Uh– I–” Steve sighs, eyes flicking between Eddie’s mouth and his eyes. “You said– And I do too. So I just thought–”
Eddie is still frozen, staring at Steve with wide eyes. “What the fuck just happened?”
Robin smacks his arm. “He likes you too, idiot.”
That finally makes it click.
Steve kissed him.
Steve kissed him.
Steve kissed him.
And now he’s looking away from Eddie like he fucked up because he’s sitting here like a jackass and didn’t kiss him back. Fuck. He didn’t kiss him back.
Eddie lunges forward and pulls Steve back in, locking their lips together in a sloppy, alcohol fueled kiss, ignoring Robin’s protests and only stopping when Steve starts giggling against Eddie’s mouth.
Eddie pulls back with a confused look. “What’s so–”
“I asked you to fill me up.”
That starts Robin’s cackling again, which only ramps up Steve’s laughter, and gets Eddie rolling too. He shrugs, eyeing Steve up and down. “I mean. That can be arranged, big boy.”
Steve’s face drops in shock and Robin smacks his arm again.
“Ew! Don’t do that in front of me! Don’t do that when I’m home!”
Eddie chuckles and flips her off as he leans back in to give Steve another kiss.

JUST BE FRIENDS
Fratboy!chris x toxic!fwb!reader
They haven’t talked in a month.
Thirty silent days.
You left him on read more times than you could count—and every time you almost caved, almost typed something back, you’d remember how easy it was for him to leave. How he made you feel like you weren’t enough, even when you were giving everything.
But that didn’t stop him from texting.
chris:
you still mad at me?
i know i fucked up. just please don’t leave me like this.
chris:
i don’t even know how to do this shit
like… being a boyfriend
i never had to learn before you.
and now i’m scared i ruined the only good thing i ever had.
chris:
i’m scared you hate me
i’m scared you’re gonna move on and actually find someone who knows how to love you right
and i’ll have to watch that happen knowing it should’ve been me.
chris:
please just talk to me.
i’ll take whatever you give me. a call. a text. a slap in the face. i don’t care.
chris:
i don’t sleep. i don’t eat.
i keep thinking about the look on your face that morning.
i keep hearing your voice saying my name like it didn’t even sound like me to you anymore.
chris:
i’m scared you meant it when you said you were done
because i’m not. not even a little bit.
chris:
i don’t know how to be good at this.
but i swear to god i’d learn if it meant keeping you.
chris:
you make me want to be someone better
and i don’t even know where to start without you.
chris:
please. say something.
chris:
anything.
A FEW DAYS LATER
Your phone had been silent all day, just how you liked it lately. But something in you cracked tonight. Maybe it was the way his last message sat there, unread. Maybe it was the ache in your chest that hadn’t left for weeks. Maybe it was just weakness. Either way, your fingers moved before your brain could stop them.
you:
hi.
You didn’t expect a reply immediately, but it came within seconds.
chris:
oh my god
hi
hi hi hi
you texted me. holy shit
chris:
can i come over??
please. i swear i won’t fuck it up.
i just need to see you. i’ll sleep on the floor. we don’t even have to talk if you don’t want to
please baby i miss you so much
chris:
i haven’t even looked at another girl. i swear on everything.
i miss your voice. your face. the way you yell at me when i piss you off.
everything.
You sat there staring at the screen, heart tight in your chest.
you:
just to talk. nothing else.
chris:
yes. yes, okay. just to talk.
i’ll be there in 10.
And he was. Ten minutes later, there was a soft knock on your door. You hesitated, then opened it.
He looked exhausted. Hair messy, dark circles under his eyes, hoodie wrinkled like he hadn’t changed in days. But his eyes lit up the second he saw you.
“Hi,” he whispered, like he couldn’t believe you were real.
You didn’t say anything—just moved aside to let him in.
The tension was thick as he stepped inside, shoving his hands in his pockets, unsure, awkward for once. He was nervous. Like he didn’t know where to stand.
You crossed your arms. “So. Talk.”
He nodded quickly, stepping closer. “I meant everything I said. Every single text. I haven’t stopped thinking about you, not once. And I know I’m not good at this, and I know I’ve hurt you, but I just—”
He stepped forward again, closer, slowly… then leaned in, his face inches from yours, eyes soft.
But you pulled back immediately, shaking your head. “Chris…”
He froze, eyes searching yours.
“I told you. We’re just talking.”
He swallowed hard, backing up, shame painting his face. “Right. Sorry.”
You sat down on the couch, and he followed. Silence stretched for a beat before you finally spoke.
“I think we should just be friends.”
Chris’s whole body stiffened. “What?”
“I think… that’s all we can be,” you said, voice quieter now. “I’m not doing this anymore. Not the back and forth. Not the disappearing. Not the waking up alone like I meant nothing. I can’t.”
His jaw clenched, chest rising and falling harder now. “Don’t say that.”
“It’s the truth.”
Chris shook his head, eyes wide and shining now. “No, no you don’t mean that. We’re not just friends. We never were. I know you still feel it.”
“I do,” you admitted. “But feeling it doesn’t mean I should do it again.”
He suddenly dropped to his knees in front of you, hands grabbing your thighs gently, like you were going to disappear.
“Please. Don’t do this. I’ll change. I’ll do whatever it takes. Just tell me what to do. Please.”
But you just stared at him, heart breaking all over again. Because you wanted to say yes. You wanted to reach for him. But you couldn’t.
“Get up, Chris.”
He looked up at you, breath shaky. “Y/N…”
“I can’t keep hurting myself over you.”
You didn’t realize you were crying until you felt the tears hit your fingers.
He didn’t move.
Neither did you.
Everything was quiet—except your heart shattering again.
Chris was still on his knees, hands clutching at your thighs like if he let go, you’d disappear again. And maybe you would.
“Y/N,” he breathed, voice cracking.
You’d never seen him like this before. Not even close. Chris didn’t beg. He didn’t cry. He didn’t plead. But now? His eyes were glassy, lips trembling like he didn’t even know how to hold himself together anymore.
“I don’t know what the fuck I’m doing, okay?” he said, voice raw. “I don’t know how to be good at this. I don’t know how to be someone who’s good for you. But I’ve never wanted anything like I want you. Ever.”
You swallowed, hard, but didn’t say anything. You couldn’t. Your throat was tight.
His fingers curled slightly, gripping your thighs like he needed to ground himself.
“I wake up and I check my phone hoping you changed your mind. I go to sleep hoping maybe tomorrow you’ll remember that I’m still here. Still trying.”
“Chris—”
“I fucked up, I know I fucked up. But I didn’t mean to hurt you. I just…” he paused, exhaling sharp. “I get scared. I always have. But losing you is scarier than anything else.”
His voice was getting quieter. His eyes were red now, rimmed with tears he kept blinking back, and failing.
“I don’t want anyone else. I can’t even think about anyone else. No one makes me laugh like you do. No one talks to me the way you do. You were always the one, even when I was too fucking stupid to realize it.”
A tear finally slid down his cheek, and he looked away, embarrassed, like he couldn’t believe he was letting you see him like this.
But you didn’t move. You didn’t say anything.
So he kept going.
“I don’t care if it takes months. Years. I’ll earn you back. Just… don’t walk away from me right now. Don’t tell me I’ve already lost you. Please.”
You looked down at him—this boy who never begged, never got emotional, never let anyone see him like this—and now he was falling apart in front of you.
“I’m on my knees for you,” he whispered. “I don’t beg for anyone. But I’ll beg for you every damn day if I have to.”
He leaned his head forward, resting it lightly against your knees, voice barely audible now.
“Don’t go.”
And you just sat there, frozen, heart cracked in two.
Because you didn’t know what to say.
And he looked like the only thing he’d ever believed in was you.
You took a deep breath, eyes still on him—his head lowered against your knees, his chest rising and falling like he couldn’t catch a breath. You felt like you couldn’t either. But you had to say it.
“I’m sorry, Chris,” you whispered.
His head lifted slightly, eyes searching yours like he misheard you—like maybe there was hope tucked behind those words.
But then you said it.
“We need to just be friends.”
It hit him like a slap.
He blinked, slowly, lips parting like he wanted to say something, but nothing came out. Just the sound of your voice—soft and steady now, like you’d rehearsed it a thousand times in your head.
“And if we’re gonna be friends,” you continued, your voice trembling, “then there’s gonna have to be rules.”
Chris stayed quiet. You could see the pain in his eyes, how badly he wanted to protest—but he didn’t. Maybe he couldn’t.
You swallowed and began to list them.
“You can’t flirt with me anymore. No more calling me baby. Or pretty girl. Or anything like that.”
He clenched his jaw but nodded, barely.
“You can’t come over late at night. You can’t sleep in my bed.”
He looked down at the floor, his hands falling away from your thighs.
“You can’t kiss me when you’re drunk. You can’t get jealous when I talk to other people. You can’t text me in the middle of the night when you’re lonely.”
You didn’t even realize you were crying until your voice cracked.
“And you can’t look at me like you love me anymore.”
Chris shook his head slowly, like it was too much. Like every word was pulling something out of him.
“Y/N…” he breathed, voice shaking. “You’re asking me to kill every part of me that still wants you.”
Your lips pressed into a thin line, trying to hold back the sob in your throat.
“I’m asking you to respect me,” you whispered. “To respect the fact that I can’t keep hurting like this.”
He blinked quickly, his eyes glossy again. “But I do love you.”
You stood up slowly, backing away from him like you couldn’t bear to be near him while he said that. “Then you’ll let me go.”
Chris stayed on the floor, completely still, watching you like you’d just walked away with the last piece of him.
A/N- This is an emotional rollercoaster.

eyeless jack and or hoodie somno ? or what it’s like dating them with a nsfw part 🙏🙏 we’re thirsting rn
Oh my God. This took so long for me to do mainly because i procrastinated, but whatever. Anyways! I absolutely loved this idea and just had to do it! So i hope you like it.
!!Headcannons!!
!!TW!!: Somnophilia, mentions of other various kinks, mentions of Mean! Jack, cunnilingus. Let me know if i missed any!!)
Brian/Hoodie:
Now, to start, there is a big difference in Brian and Hoodie. Brian is well, Brian. I like to think of him as a big southern teddy bear. While it might be unpopular, I don’t really care. Hoodie, on the other hand, is ruthless, and mean. He doesn’t really seem to care all that much. So how would dating them be?
Brian, like I said, is a big ol’ teddy bear when it comes to you. He adores you and loves to spoil you with bear hugs and smothering you in kisses. Not to mention, he bulks, so not only does he have muscle, he has a big build making him huge compared to you. Perfect for being choked by his bicep- I mean, who said that?
Moving on, we have Hoodie. Now Hoodie is a killer, a cold killer who doesn’t seem to care. Thankfully the only times you really see Hoodie is when he gets home from a mission and Brian hasn’t regained control yet. During these times he usually tries to stay away from you. Maybe it’s because Brian doesn’t want Hoodie to hurt you so he might still be the tiniest bit in control.
However, sometimes you can’t help but need to be near your boyfriend, so even when Hoodie was Hoodie you’d still come up to him and hug him, but he would just stand there or put his hands on your hips.
Onto hornier details, kinks. Brian might seem like a vanilla guy at first glance, but he’s most definitely not. Does he like Somno? Yes. At first, he hated the thought of taking advantage of you while you were sleeping, but when you said you were into it? He tried it the following night and he fell in LOVE with it. The sight of you shaking and whimpering in your sleep only to wake up with Brian’s thick cock in your hole? Hooked.
Of course there’s other kinks, choking, degrading, dirty talking, pet names, etc. But there is just a special place in his heart for Somno and knife play. But that’s for a different time. ;p
Does Hoodie like Somno? Is that even a question? Of course he does! He loves to get home from long missions and walk in your room and to find you sleeping. Because that means he can use your body and not have to hear you complain about how tired you are as he fucks you.
He also has other kinks, choking, impact play, knife play, blood play, even some BDSM, but it's not often that you screw Hoodie anyway so you’ll be healed by next time. ;p
Eyeless Jack:
Oh Anon, don’t I have a treat for you. Jack was a big, intimidating guy, he’s a demon after all. But he’s sweet. Most of the time. Most of the time he’s a big affection, and loving boyfriend, but other times, he’s the opposite. He’s cruel and distant. He even sometimes insults you, but you know he doesn’t really mean it. Right?
But after these little spurts of hate, he apologizes, gives you cuddles, hugs and kisses but if you go to bed angry? He doesn’t like that because he knows he made you mad, so he likes to give you a nice surprise.
He had always thought about fucking you while you were sleeping, but now he had a reason. So there he was under the blanket in between your legs licking your aching and dripping hole. He was happening you would wake up in a panicked and blissful mess and that’s exactly what you were. You woke up and you felt hot and a wet sensation on your lower half. You looked down in a panic but that panic was soon taken over by relief and then ecstasy as your body trembled and convulsed as you came. Who knew three tongues could feel so good?

The Gambit (Hotch x Fem!Reader) -- part four
(Yes I'm posting another one don't look at me) Happy New Year's Eve everyone! Another treat for the holidays from me as I keep writing at the speed of light xxx
Warnings: angst angst angst!
Tumblr media
When you get downstairs to the hotel lobby in the morning, Hotch thinks it’s time to play twenty-fucking-questions.
“Did you sleep?”
You give him a weird look. This is question number seven. “I took a nap. I’m fine.” Never mind the fact that Hotch doesn’t look like he slept a wink. He probably stayed awake, mulling over files all night.
“How much did you smoke?” he asks. Number eight.
Behind you, Derek joins in as he walks up with coffee. “You bought cigarettes? We talked about this.”
“Can both of you get off my dick?” you laugh, trying to hide how annoyed and uncomfortable this is making you. “We have a missing girl. Shouldn’t we focus on that? Can we go?”
“Does everyone have what they need?” Hotch asks, though he’s already moving toward the door. His phone lights up in his hand and he takes it, muttering, “This is Agent Hotchner.”
You all wait anxiously for Hotch to finish the call, but continue walking toward the parking lot. It’s not until you’re nearly at the cars that the call ends, and Hotch begins speed walking.
“That was the sheriff,” he says, opening the driver’s side door. “Richard Monroe turned himself in five minutes ago.”
“What?” you blurt, hopping in the passenger seat of Hotch’s car without thinking. You see Derek get in the backseat and think thank god someone else got in. “Does he have Lila?” As much as you hate Hotch’s view of this case, you still feel the need to ask.
“No,” Hotch says, and you feel a spark of pride in yourself. “He claims to not know where she is.”
You groan, but it’s cut off by a surprised yelp as Hotch speeds onto the main road, putting the lights on, and squealing the tires. You reach up for the safety bar, holding on for dear life as Hotch races to the precinct.
+++
Richard Monroe looks like a ghost.
He spends the first few minutes of the interrogation asking Morgan where Lila is. And when Morgan finally says “we don’t know,” Richard starts to cry.
“Hotch…” you shake your head, looking away. “He’s telling the truth. He doesn’t have her.”
Hotch stays silent, arms crossed over his chest as he watches Richard and Morgan. “Or he’s playing a game.”
“Can you be serious for one second?”
Hotch doesn’t even turn his head to look at you. Instead, you get a glare from the corner of his eye. “I am being serious.”
“We need to ask him if he knows anyone that might pose as him,” you press.
Hotch ignores you.
Morgan stands and leaves the interrogation room, coming out to stand next to you and Hotch. “He’s distraught, man.”
“Because he doesn’t have her,” you insist. “Let me talk to him.”
“No,” Hotch says.
“You didn’t even think about it.”
“Because I don’t need to,” Hotch replies, still cold. “You don’t have clearance.”
“Clearance?”
“Hotch, what does that even mean?” Morgan butts in, surprising you. “It can’t hurt, man. I think he needs someone in there that’s not me or you. He’s just going to get angry if you walk in there.”
“Exactly,” you nod in agreement. “He needs to feel in control again. So let me.”
Hotch takes a moment to at least think about it, and then he says, “Go.”
“Is that a yes?”
“Go before I change my mind.”
You smile. “Is there a box of tissues around?”
+++
You set the box of tissues in front of Richard Monroe, also giving him a cup of water. He keeps his head down, his fingers clenched together.
“Here,” you barely whisper. “I’m really sorry about my colleague. He can get a little…aggressive.”
Richard says nothing, but he does nod.
“I’m Agent L/N,” you begin. “I’m new. I just felt so bad for you, I had to come say something.” You pause, taking the seat across from him. “I’m really sorry about your daughter. We’re doing everything we can to find her. I know you had nothing to do with this.”
“I really didn’t,” he says. The words are as quiet as they are pitiful. “I wouldn’t. Not her.”
“I know,” you nod. You need to ask your next question. You just hope it won’t set him off again. “Do you know anyone who would?”
He shakes his head, but doesn’t seem angry or upset. “No one knows about her. And if they do, they know not to fucking touch her.”
That sounds about right. “I understand,” you nod. “Is there anyone who would,” you pause and chuckle, playing up the dumb newbie act, “have ‘beef’ with you, so to speak? About anything?”
He looks up then, and grins. It makes your stomach turn. “They don’t live long enough.”
You lean into your startled reaction. You can see he’s opening up more and more with how vulnerable you let yourself seem.
He grabs the cup of water and downs it in one go. “How new are you?”
“It’s my first day,” you reply sheepishly, making yourself smaller and smaller. “I’m not supposed to be in here, but I just felt so bad.”
“You’re a sweet girl,” Richard says, still with the same smile that makes you uneasy. It takes too long for you to realize that it’s the same crazed look your dad used to have. “What’s a sweet girl like you doing working for the FBI?”
“What’s someone like you doing turning yourself in to the FBI?” you counter. “I’ve heard about you, y’know.”
Richard leans back in his seat. “Yeah? What have you heard?”
“That you’ve gotten away with it all thus far,” you shrug. “Been completely off the FBI’s radar. So why’d you jump back on it now?”
He narrows his eyes at you. “How new did you say you were?”
You ignore him. He’s halfway onto you now anyway. “Surely it’s not just because your daughter has gone missing. You couldn’t possibly love her that m—”
He slams his hands on the table hard, and you almost jump, but you don’t move an inch. He stares at you, that same wild look you’ve seen before.
“You don’t scare me,” you say. “What’s the real reason you’re here?”
His left eye twitches. “Why do you look familiar?”
Your blood runs cold but you don’t show it. “Why are you avoiding my question?” You cross your arms over your chest. “I know you don’t give a shit about your ex-wife either, Richard, so what is it?”
“You think we’re all the same, don’t you?” he taunts. “That just because we do what we do means we can’t feel love.”
I know you can’t, you think. “Do you love your daughter?”
“Yes,” he answers instantly. Zero doubt. “And despite what my ex-wife tells you, I love her too. I just want to keep them safe.”
“Safe from what?”
“People like me,” he replies. “Who do you think?”
You stay silent for a moment. He’s studying your face in a way you don’t like. That’s your cue to leave.
You nod like you’ve figured him out and stand up, pushing your chair in. “Do you want more water?”
“No.”
“Suit yourself,” you shrug, turning for the door.
“What’d you say your name was?”
You repeat it, knowing it will tell him nothing. There’s a reason you changed it. He seems dissatisfied as you expected because if your hunch is right about his, it wasn’t the surname he expected you to have.
He shouldn’t have expected you to keep the name. Lila probably won’t keep hers.
You return to the other room where Hotch is waiting and watching. His eyes follow you as you step inside, looking through the window at Richard.
“I’m not sure if any of that was remotely useful,” you admit. “But maybe he’ll be more amenable now. I seem to have caught him off guard.”
Hotch says nothing. And he won’t stop looking at you.
You sigh, turning to meet his eyes with a tired stare. You raise your eyebrows. “What? Do I have something on my face?”
“Why did he recognize you?”
You keep your expression neutral. “I don’t know, Hotch. Ask him. He’s the one in handcuffs.”
Hotch seems to accept your answer — or if he doesn’t, he doesn’t show it. You leave him to brood and head back into the conference room to help Reid. Rossi goes to join Hotch and you pointedly don’t think about how they’re probably talking about you.
+++
Richard must really love his daughter. He’s not happy to learn there’s someone posing as him on said chatting site, and that they convinced Lila to run away with them.
He swears up and down that he’ll do anything to help find her. It makes you angrier than it should.
You’re not angry at him, not really. You know it’s misguided anger. You know who you’re really angry at. But you refuse to admit that to yourself, so instead you’re picking fights with your boss.
Although, in your opinion, Hotch started it.
“You’re seriously going to keep me from speaking to him just because he thinks he recognizes me?” You nearly roll your eyes at Hotch, but you stop yourself. “You’re being ridiculous.”
“You’re being defensive,” Hotch points out, his arms crossed like he’s trying to prove a point. “What are you not telling me?”
“Why are you so interested?” you counter, crossing your arms too. You’re not trying to mock him, but if it comes across that way, then so be it. “Trying to get in my pants or something?”
Hotch’s gaze might as well be laced with fire. “Take a walk. Now.”
“Fuck off.”
“Agent—”
“Yeah, yeah, I’m going.” You glare at him over your shoulder as you head for the doors of the precinct.
You shove the doors open with a huff, turning and walking to the left of the parking lot. You’re really wishing you didn’t leave the pack of cigarettes in your hotel room right about now.
What the hell is Hotch’s problem— No, what the hell is Richard’s problem? Why does he think he knows you? How is that even possible?
You think back. Your dad would’ve been in his sixties now, pushing seventy. Richard is 54. The possibility that they knew each other is small, but still there, and not impossible like you’d prefer. The fact that the possibility is there at all is pissing you off.
You’re not stupid. You know this comes with the territory. You know this is what you get for testing fate like this. But there’s a reason you changed your name. There’s a reason your mom packed everything up and moved halfway across the country with you when you were a teenager. It was a new start, a new life. One where you had no ties to him. None.
So why does some random FBI’s Most Wanted act like he’s seen your face before? Has he? How?
“You’re gonna start a tornado if you keep turning in circles like that.”
“Not in the mood, Morgan,” you say calmly, despite the anger raging through you. “Sorry if he’s being a jackass.” You raise your hand and gesture to yourself, “My fault.”
Morgan scoffs. “Right.”
You shrug. As much as Hotch irritates the shit out of you, you’re well aware you bring it on yourself sometimes. It doesn’t help that he gets under your skin so easily and will have you firing off at any little thing. You bring it on yourself just as much as he starts it on his own.
You’re both at fault and neither of you will admit it. Ever. Over your dead body.
“Come back inside.”
“Can’t. I’ve been exiled.”
“Y/N,” Morgan tries again. “What’s going on?”
You stop pacing. “Nothing is going on.”
“Hotch told me the guy recognized you.”
You roll your eyes. “Hotch is paranoid.”
“Really? ‘Cause right now you’re looking just as paranoid.”
You shoot him a glare. “Don’t.”
“I’m just saying.”
“I know you are, but don’t, okay?” you all but plead. “Leave it alone. Please.”
Morgan tilts his head. He looks ready to do everything except leave it alone. “You’ll tell me if it’s a problem?”
“Yes,” you nod, meaning it. He’s dead, anyway, so it won’t be a problem. “But it’s really not. And I’m not paranoid, I’m just thinking. Well— Maybe I am paranoid. We need to find her.”
“We will,” Morgan says. “Now, come inside. We need everyone on deck.”
You can’t argue with that and you’re cooled down enough now, so you relent. “Alright.”
You follow Morgan back into the precinct and into the conference room with the rest of the team. You share a look and single nod with Hotch. A silent truce, for now.
+++
Turns out, a serial killer like Richard does have a lot of enemies, including some who would jump at the chance to torment his daughter. Go figure.
They’re easier to narrow down and pinpoint once Richard actually starts to work with the team. Hotch struck a deal, apparently, to make his sentence lighter if he helps. No death penalty, but still life in prison, after all he’s done.
To your surprise, Richard is relieved about no death penalty. Because, he said, if there’s any chance his daughter will see him one day, he wants to be alive.
It sends a spark of anger through you so hot that you have to walk away.
You spend the rest of the day with Reid, decoding messages, silently nodding back and forth, and chewing on as many pen caps as you can. It’s probably not good for your teeth, but neither of you care about that right now.
You’re both shocked out of your trances when Morgan comes flying into the room, Garcia on speakerphone, with Hotch and Prentiss right behind them.
“I found her phone, I found it,” Garcia’s voice comes through the speaker. “Sending coordinates to everyone now.”
“Rossi and JJ are on it,” Hotch answers. “They’re already out.”
“It’s not moving, so it might be nothing,” Garcia says.
You worry for a moment that her phone is thrown in a bush somewhere. And then you feel sick to your stomach when Rossi confirms as much.
“They’re bringing it back here,” Hotch says, his phone still pressed to his ear. “It’s broken, like someone threw it out. Garcia, can you get me any and all CCTV footage in the area?”
“Already ahead of you, sir,” she replies. “Give me five.” The call ends abruptly, no doubt so she can focus and type faster.
“Should we tell Richard?” you ask. “He’s been cooperating, but this could be an extra push.”
Hotch studies you for a moment. “Fine. But wait until they bring the phone. Show it to him.”
He gives you a look that just screams and if he recognizes you again, you’re out.

“we’re not playing led zeppelin at our wedding, percy.”
“if you hate fun just say that, sweet girl, I’ll still marry you.”
you inhale slowly, closing your eyes, exhaling before opening them again. you’re instantly pushed into the depths of the green sea, oxygen lacking the farther you fall.
but percy’s fingers snapping in front of your face brings you back to land. you shake your head and continue your conversation.
“moving on from music. wardrobe.”
“oh! I got this one. you’ll wear a white dress and I’ll wear a suit and tie.”
it takes everything in you not to sigh again. “specifics, I mean.”
“so tell me what the dress looks like.”
“no.”
percy had been asking that same question from the day you went out with silena to buy it. you’d refused every time because you believed in the bad luck theory. so you had silena’s boyfriend, charlie, keep the dress hidden away in his bunker so percy couldn’t sneak a peak.
“pleaseeee! I’ll never ask you for anything again!”
“it’s strapless.”
percy scowls. “that’s nothing, tell me more.”
you think, for a moment, of something else un-informative to tell him about the dress. “I’ll be wearing white lingerie beneath it. and a garter.”
“really?!” percy perks up quickly, green eyes twinkling with silver specks.
for a second you think about getting his hopes up and saying no to surprise him again on your wedding night. but that’s mean.
luckily for you, being mean to your fiancé was where you shined.
“no,” you deadpan.
“that’s not funny, sweet girl.” percy blows a slow raspberry. “less to take off, I guess, so still a win.”
you roll your eyes and check off wardrobe. “I’ll wear a white dress… guests are wearing strictly blue only… are you wearing that blue tie?”
“the one with the sharks? hell yeah.”
“okay then wardrobe arrangements are officially completed. next is the food and drinks.”
percy takes the one (gently) out of your hand and crosses it off without hesitation. “everything’s blue. completed.”
“percy,” you say in a scolding tone but your growing smile says otherwise.
his expression matches yours unsurprisingly. “my sweetest angel girl.”
“not everything can be blue. we could have your mother make the cake blue and some foods, but not all of it. and we could serve blue lemonade. that could be a thing, right?”
“it’s a thing if you say it is, sweet girl.”
“okay… then that’s settled. we can’t cross this off yet.” you re-write ‘foods & drinks’ next to percy’s scribble. “we still have to decide everything else we’re serving. your mom will help us with that so we’ll talk to her.”
“my mother seems to be a leading conversation for you.”
you click the pen back inside and let it fall to the notebook. “I happen to love your mother.”
percy nods in agreement. “I love my mom too, sweet girl. but you’re talking about her an awful lot on the bed where we’ve—”
“stop right there.” you place the index over his smirking lips to stop his sentence. “this conversation is over. let’s take a break.”
before your hand can drop to your lap, percy takes your wrist and kisses your palm and your fingertips. “is break a secret code name for sex? by any chance?”
“by dictionary definition, break means to momentarily stop something from progressing.”
“so…?”
you huff. “it’s not a code name but it could fall under the list of things you could do during a break.”
“so can we—”
“gods no. it’s already too hot in this cabin.”
your eyes trail to where the window is fully opened from about the headboard of the bed. it’s not doing much since it’s hot outside also. but percy had accidentally broke your only fan so your options for cooling off were currently on hiatus.
“what if— and hear me out on this— we go to the lake—”
“pause. I’m not letting you fuck me in your father’s domain, you hypocrite.”
percy sighs and falls onto his back against the sheets. you move your notebook to the side and fall back right beside him.
“I’ll make a proposition for you.”
“I’m listening.”
“we can take your break— but you’ll let me take a cold shower after. and you’ll get me cold lemonade. and ice cream. and a new fan.”
“done. to all three.”
he sounds joking but you knew he’d do anything you asked.
“then it appears we have a deal, perseus, get over here.”
less than a millisecond it takes for him to comply.

summary: Sibling fights, pool parties, and drunk college kids. What could go wrong?
word count: 11.4k
warnings: drinking, mentions of drug use, implications of sexual assault (does not happen)
a/n: My plans for this chapter changed a lot from any q&a’s I’ve answered….Thank you for being patient! Hope you enjoy😌 If anyone is in LA or has loved ones there I hope you’re all safe 💜
————
“So what’s his name?”
Hunter turns to you with a raised brow, “Are we really doing this?”
After Aliyah’s suggestion—that was more an order to go to UCLA, you found yourself driving to the acclaimed university. You check the rear view mirror and confirm that the two sisters are knocked out (as it’s now 9pm) before you answer Hunter.
“Well yeah? You know about my Viper situation brewing back there,” you roll your eyes with a laugh quoting his exact words from earlier. “Come onnn!” you whine.
“Oh so you do admit there’s a situation,” Hunter fires back, clearly trying to regain the upper hand. But you hold your ground, unfazed by his teasing—a skill you’ve definitely honed over the course of this road trip. He groans but you can see the blush creeping on his face at the mention of his forbidden lover. “Fine his name is Fielder.”
“Hmm weird name. So you guys dating or is it just sex?” you say getting straight to the point.
“Dude!”
“What! I saw the toothbrush in your bathroom,” you smile. “I’m happy for you man. If you want to be with him or whatever.”
“I-I don’t know," he hesitates. "I really like him, but he’s a Viper and you know what that means."
You glance at him, then take one hand off the wheel to give his shoulder a firm squeeze. “Time to take your own advice, buddy,” you say, your voice steady. “Remember what you told me back then?
‘That’s half the thrill.’
‘When have you ever avoided doing something just because it’s not allowed?’
Don’t tell me you’ve forgotten your own words of wisdom.”
Hunter exhales, a small smile tugging at the corner of his mouth. “Yeah, yeah, I remember,” he mumbles, but you can see the gears turning in his head.
"Dating is different when you get older," he shares after a moment of silence. "You don't really want to mess around with the forbidden just for the fuck of it. It's like the real deal now," he sighs. "Have your fun while you can, because it doesn't last forever."
You take a moment to really absorb Hunter's words. Was he implying that Jenna was just a phase in your life? Something forbidden you were testing out for the thrill of it? You’re almost certain he didn’t mean it that way, but you hate that he planted the thought in your head. Because you knew for a fact that you never saw Jenna as a fleeting moment. An act of rebellion or someone to mess around with.
The thought shakes you, and the weight of your emotions for the girl asleep in the backseat begins to sink in. It terrifies you—realizing just how much she truly means to you.
You weren’t in the mood for a deep, philosophical conversation right now, so you deflected with some light banter instead. “You’re not that much older than me, what—four, five years tops?”
“Eight,” Hunter deadpans, followed by a dry laugh. “And here I am, heading to a college town to party like I’m still eighteen,” he mutters, shaking his head in mock disbelief.
"Whoa party? Who said anything about partying?" you ask confused.
"Come on, you can't expect us to go to UCLA for the weekend—mind you exam season just finished. And you don't want us to party?"
"There is possibly a drug cartel hunting us down...and you want to party?"
"Yup," he answers, popping the P with an unbothered grin.
————
"Please tell me we're there," Aliyah yawns, stretching her arms out above her. "I can't stand another moment in this car."
"Technically it's an SUV," you mutter under your breath, earning a tired glare from the backseat. "But yeah, we’re almost there. Where am I headed?"
"Hold on let me text Markus real quick."
Again with that name. Before you could flip your mind over wondering who this guy was, you hear Jenna stir in the backseat, her voice groggy as she asked Aliyah, "how long was I out?"
Okay new obsession: Jenna's tired voice. It made your heart do a little flip.
Hunter looks over at you and he rolls his eyes. Why you still deny the fact that you have feelings for this girl is beyond him. He wanted to smack you across the face and ask you if you thought it was normal to get worked up over someone's sleepy voice. It was evident in the way your eyebrows jumped and the stupid smile on your lips. You obviously had feelings for the girl and everyone but you and Jenna could see it.
"Okay Y/n go to 350 De Neve drive," Aliyah shares upon getting the address.
You still had no idea where you were going, but you give a nod to Hunter to put in the address the girl gave.
Finally, not being able to stand it anymore, you ask the question that's been annoying you for the last two hours. "Who's Markus?"
“Our brother,” Jenna answers, glancing up at the rearview mirror where your eyes have been lingering throughout the whole drive.
Her sleepy voice almost distracted you from what she just said. Oh. That explains a lot. Silly old you getting jealous over nothing. Markus was their damn brother. You smile and nod. "Ahh okay, I see."
"What's with the smile Y/l/n?" Hunter teases you, knowing exactly why.
You don't respond and shoot him a side eye. "So is this a younger or older brother?"
"He's my twin," Aliyah mumbles, her attention stolen by something on her phone.
That didn't answer your question. But you still decide to engage in some small talk with Jenna just because you can, and totally not because you wanted to hear more of her tired voice.
"So are you the youngest Jenna?"
This time, Aliyah takes her eyes off her phone and bursts out laughing.
"Pffft—please! I’m dead!" she howls, clearly finding your question hilarious.
"Am I the youngest?" Jenna bites back, her tired voice now laced with a touch of sass. The combination is absolutely killer, and for a split second, you forget how to breathe. But your brain catches up quickly, and you realize you might have more pressing issues to worry about.
"Have you thought all this time that Aliyah is older than me?" she adds, her eyes narrowing playfully at the rearview mirror.
You blink, caught off guard by the sudden shift in tone. “Wait, what? I—uhh—well, yeah, kind of?” You try to backpedal, feeling your face flush slightly. "I mean, she seems older."
Aliyah bursts into laughter again, practically doubling over in the back seat. "Oh my god, I can't believe you thought that! You really think I'm the older one?"
Jenna shakes her head, a small smile tugging at her lips. "Nope. I’m their older sister."
Your eyes widen, and you glance over at Jenna, who looks far too small to be the older sibling. “But… you’re so tiny?” you blurt out before you can stop yourself.
Jenna raises an eyebrow, her tired eyes turning into what you think is an amused glare. "Excuse me? Tiny?"
You instantly regret your words, feeling heat rise to your cheeks. “I mean, you’re just… small compared to Aliyah! I thought she was the older one.”
It was now Hunter's turn to place a hand on your shoulder. "Please shut up before she starts ignoring you again."
————
“Marki-poo!” Aliyah coos running towards a guy that stood quite taller than her with dark hair.
It was around half past nine when you all finally arrived at what you now learned to be Markus’ dorm building.
While the sisters reunited with their brother, you and Hunter climbed out of the SUV that was parked on the road, both of you stretching to shake off the stiffness of hours on the freeway. The cool night air was refreshing, but your attention quickly drifted to Markus. As your eyes flicked toward him, you froze mid-stretch.
Holy shit. He was the spitting image of Jenna. Same piercing eyes, same sharp jawline, and even a similar smile. It was uncanny, and for a moment, you felt like the universe was playing some cosmic joke, doubling down on how much one family could mess with your head.
Before you could ruminate further, Markus noticed you and Hunter lingering by the SUV and waved. His grin widened as he called out, “Hey! You must be Y/n and Hunter. Aliyah and Jenna wouldn’t shut up about you guys over text.”
Aliyah rolled her eyes, while Jenna shot him a wide glare.
You blinked, caught off guard by his friendly tone. “Uh, yeah, that’s us,” you replied, trying to sound casual as you walked over.
“I bet you must love the freedom being away from home," Jenna asks out of the blue while she gazes around the campus mindlessly soaking everything in.
Her voice drew your gaze like a magnet, and for a split second, you forgot anyone else was there.
What was going on with you? Why was her voice making you feel all strange? It wasn't like this before, and even if it was you were at least able to hide it.
Hunter cleared his throat, clearly enjoying your inability to stay cool around Jenna.
“So, what’s the plan?” Hunter asked, breaking the tension.
Markus gestured toward the dorm building. “I’ve got room for all of you to crash if you’re staying the night. It’s a bit of a squeeze, but it beats sleeping in the car.”
Aliyah clapped her hands together, grinning. “Perfect! Let’s get inside. I need to pee, and I’m not doing it in some random gas station bathroom.”
As everyone started heading toward the entrance with their packed bags, Jenna fell into step beside you. Her shoulder brushed yours, and even though it was likely unintentional, it sent your heart racing.
“Thanks for bringing us here,” she said quietly, her voice soft but sincere. “I know this whole trip is a lot. But we haven’t seen Markus in forever.”
You glanced at her, momentarily caught off guard by the genuine gratitude in her tone. “It not that bad,” you replied, trying to sound nonchalant. “Besides, it’s not like I had much of a choice.”
Jenna smirked, the corners of her lips tugging upward in a way that made your chest tighten. “Fair enough.”
As the group disappeared through the dorm’s entrance, you couldn’t shake the feeling that this night was far from over—and that Markus wasn’t the only surprise waiting for you at UCLA.
————
"We need to set them up."
The group makes their trek to Markus' dorm, with the twins up at front, Hunter following in the middle, and Jenna and you walking side by side in the back.
Aliyah decides that she needs to take the reigns for this weekend and enlist her brother's help for something that needs to be done.
"Jenna and Y/n?" He asks, turning back to look at you both.
"—Don't look at them!" she snaps slapping her brother on the arm. "You can't make it obvious."
Markus just looks at her dumbfounded.
“Those two are so into each other, it’s painful to watch. They need to just make out already or something! I’m losing my mind over here.”
“Make out?” Markus repeats, his voice incredulous.
“Yes! Or, like, hold hands—anything! I’m sick of the constant eye-fucking!” she whisper-yells, gesturing dramatically.
“Eye-fucking?”
“Yes, Markus, eye-fucking!” Aliyah says, her tone exasperated as if explaining basic math to a toddler. “Now, what can we do to speed this along? How do college kids even date these days?”
"Uhm I don't know...they meet in class, ask for their snap, or they meet at parties—"
"That's it!" Aliyah shrieks in excitement before she quickly clasps her hand over her mouth, worried she was too loud. "Please tell me there's a party going on tonight?"
"Tonight?" Markus whispers back. "Come on sis, don't you think we should let them relax or something? We can figure this out tomorrow."
"Tonight Markus." She repeats sternly. Markus knew better than to defy his persistent sister. He sighs, "Yeah I know of one."
"Perfect!”
————
"Absolutely the fuck not Aliyah! Are you crazy?!"
The group finally made it to the dorm in one piece, and much to your relief, the tuition prices definitely matched the size of the dorms. It seemed like there was enough space for all five of you, and the best part? Markus had no roommate. Score.
After Aliyah rushes in to use the bathroom, you follow suit, eager to freshen up. You can hear a bit of commotion from the room—the sounds of people getting settled in, and some oddly loud talking—but you think nothing of it. That is, until you step out of the bathroom to the unmistakable sound of shouting.
You freeze.
Jenna and Aliyah are going at it, voices raised and words flying in a heated argument. Whatever was happening, it was definitely not a friendly sibling exchange.
"Oh my god," the younger sister drawls, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "It's just a party, why not?"
You remain at the door, not daring to take a step forward. Your eyes turn to Jenna, waiting for her response. Her eyebrow twitches and she suddenly smiles, but there's no humour behind it. "Why not?"
"Why not, Aliyah?" she responds, her voice dangerously calm. "Why not?"
She takes a step forward, her tone growing colder, sharper.
"Just because—"
Just because what?" Jenna interrupts. "Just because I’m the one who had to step up and pull you out of that mess?"
You notice Aliyah's deameanour slightly falter. Her lips slightly frowning.
"You think I like this shit? You wanna make the same mistakes again, just because you want to go to some stupid college party!" Jenna continues.
You, Markus, and Hunter exchange nervous glances, unsure of when to intervene without getting caught in the crossfire.
"I didn’t ask you to do that for me!" Aliyah finally gets out, her voice rising with defiance.
Jenna’s expression hardens, her words cutting through the air like a knife.
"Yeah, you’re right. You didn’t. But Dad did," Jenna spits the words out, her voice growing more heated with every syllable. "And I had no choice but to put my life on hold and pick up the pieces of your mess. So don’t act like it’s nothing. Don’t you dare act like I’m overreacting, Aliyah. You think I want to keep doing this? You think I want to keep cleaning up after you?"
Holy shit, how much did you miss while in the bathroom? Everything was fine just a few moments ago, how things escalated so fast baffled you.
"Fuck you," Aliyah spits out, her voice trembling as her glossy eyes reflect the anger and hurt beneath the surface. She storms past you, brushing your shoulder, and disappears out of the dorm room before anyone can stop her.
As you’re left standing awkwardly near the door, your eyes instinctively flick to Jenna, who’s still fuming, her chest rising and falling with each sharp breath. She looks like she’s barely holding it together.
But before you can even think about what to do, you notice Hunter and Markus already moving toward her. Hunter places a tentative hand on Jenna’s shoulder, his voice soft as he tries to calm her down. Markus, standing nearby, looks just as lost for words but ready to step in if needed.
Your gaze lingers on Jenna for a moment longer, watching the tension in her jaw and the way she refuses to let her emotions fully break through. Part of you wants to stay, to say something, to comfort her—but it’s clear she’s not alone. Hunter and Markus are already there for her.
The decision was obvious. With a deep breath, you step out into the hallway, following after Aliyah.
You can still hear the muffled voices of Hunter and Markus trying to talk Jenna down as you close the door behind you, leaving the tension of the dorm room behind. But even as you head down the hall, your mind keeps replaying Jenna’s words, the raw emotion in her voice, and the hurt etched into Aliyah’s face.
You sigh, shaking your head. This weekend’s already off to one hell of a start.
————
"Holy shit Aliyah! Slow down would you!" you shout after her as you see her enter the elevator.
You barely make it in time before the doors shut and you're panting while the girl remains silent, as you both wait for the elevator to reach the ground floor.
Neither of you say anything. She walks on the side walk away from the building and you follow a step behind her. There were other students out at this time, it wasn't too late—only around 10pm now. After some more aimless walking she finally plops down on a bench under a streetlight.
You linger for a moment before cautiously sitting down beside her, keeping a bit of space between you. She says nothing, and for a while, you both just sit there, the faint buzz of campus life in the background.
Finally, you break the silence. "Aliyah… you okay?"
She scoffs, wiping at her eyes quickly. "Do I look okay?" Her voice is sharp, but there’s no real venom behind it.
You don’t answer right away, watching her instead. "No," you admit softly. "You don’t. But… do you want to talk about it?"
You hear her sniffle and you turn to face her. She's wiping her eyes now with a sad smile on her face. "I don't even know why I'm crying, she's not wrong you know?"
"I doubt that's true," you offer gently. "She's just worried of losing you. Or seeing you make choices that could...you know, hurt you," you suggest, recalling the information you heard in the argument earlier.
"She didn’t say anything I didn’t already know. But hearing her say it—it hurts. She didn’t have to throw that in my face."
You nod slowly, understanding dawning. "You mean about the Vipers?"
Her head snaps toward you, eyes narrowing. "She told you?"
"No," you say quickly, raising your hands in defense. "She didn’t. That’s her story to tell, and I guess she’ll tell me when she’s ready. But… it’s not hard to figure out that there’s more to this than just a party."
The crying girl clears her throat before leaning back into the bench. “She could’ve told you. She probably didn’t tell you for my sake.”
You tilt your head confused, giving Aliyah your full attention.
“You’ll have to know this anyways if you’re going to date my sister and shut up I don’t wanna hear it. Let me explain.”
You laugh at her comment. How she knew you’d deny potentially dating her sister. But sensing the seriousness of the topic you zip your lips and listen, waiting for your long awaited questions to be answered.
“I’m sure you’ve gathered by now that Jenna is with the Vipers because of me.”
You softly nod.
“A few years ago,” she sighs recalling the night.
————
Aliyah was buzzing, the world around her a kaleidoscope of music, neon lights, and laughter. The bass thumped through her veins as she swayed to the beat, a red plastic cup in her hand. She wasn’t entirely sure what was in it—something strong, something that burned on the way down. Her "friends" had handed it to her earlier with a wink and a “just try it.”
It wasn’t her first party, but it was her first big one. College kids, flashy cars parked outside, and a house way too nice for a bunch of teenagers to be trashing. Percy had been the one to invite her, his charming smile making it seem like she’d be missing out on the event of the year if she didn’t show up.
“Aliyah!” Percy’s voice cut through the music. She turned, almost stumbling as the alcohol hit her harder than expected. He stood there, grinning, a bottle of something expensive-looking in one hand. “Having fun?”
“Yeah!” she replied, her words slightly slurred.
“Good, good,” he said, slinging an arm around her shoulder and steering her toward a quieter corner of the house. “Hey, you gotta try this.”
Aliyah blinked at the small pill he held out to her. “What is it?”
“Just something to help you relax,” he said, his voice smooth and reassuring. “Everyone’s doing it. No big deal.”
Normally, she would’ve said no. Normally, she wouldn’t have even been at a party like this. But the alcohol dulled her judgment, and Percy’s grin made it seem harmless. She hesitated for only a moment before taking the pill and swallowing it with a sip from her cup.
The next few hours were a blur. Colors seemed brighter, music louder, and her body lighter. She laughed at things that weren’t funny and danced until her legs felt like jelly. At some point, Percy led her upstairs, saying she needed to “rest.” She remembered collapsing onto a plush bed, her head spinning, and Percy’s shadow lingering in the doorway.
When she woke up the next morning, her phone was buzzing with texts from Jenna. But it was Percy’s smirk and the way he casually mentioned “having some footage” of her wild night that made her stomach drop.
“You wouldn’t want your dad seeing this, would you?” he’d said with a mockingly sweet tone.
That night changed everything.
————
"Hold on—did that asshole fucking—" you begin to demand, your voice low but trembling with barely contained fury. Your fists clench instinctively, already mapping out how you were gonna beat Percy's ass.
"No! No," she insists, her voice steadying as she places a hand on your arm, as if to keep you tethered. "Thank God, no. But..." Her gaze drops to the ground, shame flickering across her face. "Turns out it was a Viper party, he had footage of me taking whatever it was he gave me. And—" She swallows hard, her voice barely above a whisper, "he planted stuff on me too. Drugs. Enough to ruin everything if anyone found out."
The weight of her words sinks in, and your anger twists into something darker—colder. "That slimy, manipulative piece of shit," you mutter, pacing a few steps away before turning back to her. "He set you up."
Aliyah nods, hugging her arms to herself as if trying to shield herself from the memory.
"Sorry if this comes of rather insensitive but rich kid doing drugs doesn't really strike me as a headline. You see that shit everyday. Would it really have ruined everything?"
"My Dad's a dick. He didn't want it effecting his company. And unfortunately in his world it's a big deal." She pauses before continuing, "Percy just wanted leverage. Something to use against Dad." Her voice breaks, and she exhales shakily. "Dad handled it, but..."
"But that’s when Jenna got pulled into this mess," you finish for her, the realization hitting like a freight train.
Aliyah nods again, her eyes glassy. "Yeah. Dad made her join the Vipers to keep an eye on Percy and make sure he kept his word. But it wasn’t just that." She hesitates, biting her lip before continuing. "Jenna found out Percy made her joining the crew part of his deal. Like he wanted to make sure he had control over us both. And Dad said yes without hesitation."
The depth of Percy’s manipulation and the selfishness of the girls' father makes your stomach churn. You no longer felt any guilt for stealing that assholes car.
"And Jenna agreed?" you ask quietly, already knowing the answer.
"She didn’t have a choice," Aliyah whispers, her voice cracking. "Dad wouldn’t let me take the fall, and Jenna...she’s too loyal. She put herself in the line of fire for me."
You sink onto the bench beside her, running a hand through your hair as the weight of it all settles in. "Aliyah...this isn’t your fault," you say softly, though you’re not sure if you’re convincing her or yourself.
"It feels like it is," she murmurs, staring at her hands. "If I hadn’t been so stupid that night—"
"Stop." Your tone is firm but gentle. "Percy’s the one who’s to blame here. He’s the asshole who exploited you and dragged Jenna into this mess. Not you."
She doesn’t respond, but the way her shoulders shake tells you she’s trying to hold back tears. You reach out, hesitating for a moment before placing a comforting hand on her shoulder. "We’ll figure this out, Aliyah. We have the leverage we need. We’ll get Jenna out of this. I promise."
For the first time since the argument, she looks at you, her eyes glistening with vulnerability. "You mean that?"
"More than anything."
The two of you sit in silence after the night’s heavy revelations. It’s not awkward—if anything, it feels like the silence is exactly what you both need. As you sit on the bench, you watch students pass by in the soft glow of the campus lights. Some walk alone, weighed down by heavy backpacks and heavier thoughts. Others are carefree, laughing and chatting with friends, their steps light as air. A few move with quiet confidence, calm and steady.
You wonder, not for the first time, what your life might have been like if you hadn’t been born in Brimstone. Would you have been one of these students? What version of you would have existed here, unburdened by everything that came with your hometown?
“I guess…I can see why your sister was upset,” you say finally, breaking the silence.
Aliyah doesn’t respond right away, but she nods, the motion just visible from the corner of your eye.
“But,” you add with a small smile, “that was two years ago. You deserve another chance.” You turn to her, flashing a grin. “And besides, you’ve got me, Hunter, and Markus watching your back now.” You flex your arms dramatically. “No idea about those two, but nothing gets past me.”
She snorts, a laugh bubbling up despite herself. “Please, put those away. You’re going to embarrass us both.”
Her laughter softens, and when she turns to you, there’s a seriousness in her expression that catches you off guard. “I really hope it works out between you and my sister,” she says quietly.
The words hit you harder than you expect, leaving you momentarily speechless. It’s still complicated—still messy. But something about Aliyah’s vulnerability tonight makes it easier to let the thought cross your mind, even if you can’t voice it aloud.
For now, you settle for the truth that feels safest to admit, even if only to yourself.
I hope so too.
————
You’re greeted by the sight of the Ortega sisters wrapped in a tight embrace near the curb. Their voices are low, but the murmured apologies and soft laughter carry in the quiet night.
Jenna’s voice breaks through, her tone unusually tender. “No, I should’ve given you a chance. I didn’t have to be so mean, Aliyah. I’m sorry.”
Aliyah sniffles, her own voice equally apologetic. “I was wrong too. I should’ve listened to you. You’re just trying to look out for me.”
The rest of you—Hunter, Markus, and yourself—watch the heartwarming spectacle from the bench you were on moments ago with Aliyah. You exchange incredulous looks, eyebrows raised in unison.
“They’re hugging,” you point out, still processing.
“Like…full-on hugging,” Markus adds, as if needing confirmation.
Hunter leans back, crossing his arms. “I don’t know what’s more shocking—the fact that they stopped yelling or that they’re acting like this never happened.”
You snort, shaking your head. It’s kind of funny, really, how quickly they’ve gone from shouting to sobbing on each other’s shoulders. You glance at Hunter and Markus, a knowing thought crossing your mind. Just like your talk with Aliyah, it’s clear they must’ve said something to Jenna. Whatever it was, it worked, and you’re quietly grateful for it.
“They’re like a Netflix drama,” Markus muses. “Big fight in episode nine, full reconciliation by episode ten.”
Hunter chuckles. “They’re efficient, I’ll give them that.”
You smile to yourself, watching the sisters. It’s a relief to see them like this, to see the tension replaced with understanding. For all their differences, their bond is unshakable, and tonight, that’s clearer than ever.
“Efficient’s good,” you remark softly. “We could all use a little more of that.”
The three of you fall into a comfortable silence, still seated on the bench, content to let the moment play out. It’s been a long day, but for the first time in hours, it feels like everything might just turn out okay.
Your thoughts drift as the sisters continue to talk, the quiet laughter between them like the perfect breeze after a tense day. The closest you’ve ever had to something like that is Anton. It’s not quite the same—he isn’t your sibling, not by blood anyway, but he’s always been there, filling that role.
And yet, you and Anton aren’t like Jenna and Aliyah. When you two fight, it doesn’t end with quick apologies or mutual understanding. No, you’ve gone days without speaking. Weeks, even. Your disagreements have never been about anything as heavy as the sisters’ fight tonight, but they’ve been passionate all the same—mostly about the club.
You can still hear Anton’s voice in your head during your last big blow-up a few months ago—long before you met Jenna. “You think you’re above this? You think you’re better than the rest of us?” His words had stung, but so had your response. You’d called him reckless, accused him of not understanding your hesitations about racing, about the club, about everything it represented.
Looking back, you know you were both too stubborn to see the other’s perspective. And while things eventually smoothed over—like they always did—you can’t help but wonder if there’s still some lingering tension under the surface, something neither of you has addressed. And ever since that day he jokingly pulled that gun on you, ironically things have been calm. He probably thinks you're establishing yourself in the crew, and you don't know what to tell him.
Watching the sisters now, you feel a pang of envy. They’ve fought, sure, but they’ve also made their way back to each other in a way that feels effortless. You wonder if you and Anton could ever find that same ease, or if the unspoken disagreements between you will always weigh down your bond.
Hunter nudges you out of your thoughts. “You okay over there?”
You nod, shaking off the memory. “Yeah, just thinking.”
“About?”
You glance at the sisters, their shared laughter filling the night air. “How nice it must be to make up that fast,” you say simply.
Markus chimes in. “Don’t get too used to it. This is a rare sight.”
You laugh lightly, but the thought lingers. Maybe, just maybe, you and Anton could find that kind of understanding someday.
The sisters finally break their embrace and walk toward you, their expressions a mix of relief and mischief. Aliyah, ever the wildcard, claps her hands together and grins.
“Well, now that we’re done being dramatic, who’s ready to party?”
You glance at Jenna, who offers a small, almost shy smile, and then at Hunter and Markus. Surprisingly, no one objects. After the emotionally charged evening, maybe letting loose doesn’t sound so bad.
“Alright, let’s do it,” Hunter says, standing and stretching his arms.
As you all head back toward the dorm building, Markus throws a casual comment over his shoulder. “Hope you all packed swimsuits.”
The group collectively freezes, exchanging bewildered glances.
“Swimsuits?” Aliyah asks, narrowing her eyes.
Markus turns to smirk at her. “It’s a pool party. Did I not mention that?”
Your brain short-circuits. A pool party? Swimwear? Holy crap. Jenna in a bikini? You can feel the heat rising to your cheeks, your face turning an embarrassing shade of red.
Oh god, what if she looks over here? you panic internally. Play it cool. Act normal. Breathe.
But the thought of Jenna, all confident and effortlessly beautiful, lounging poolside or—nope, nope, abort mission. You’re pretty sure your gay panic is written all over your face, and you try to busy yourself with looking anywhere but at her.
“Y/n?” Jenna’s voice pulls you from your spiraling thoughts.
You snap your head toward her, your voice coming out a little too loud. “What? Yes! Pool party! Great idea. Love it.”
Jenna raises an eyebrow, clearly amused by your overenthusiasm. “Uh-huh,” she says, her lips quirking into a small smile.
Aliyah gives you a knowing smirk but thankfully doesn’t say anything, and the group continues walking. You tug your shirt over your face, hoping to disappear into it.
————
"Why did you pack so many bikinis?" Jenna asks looking into her sister's duffel bag.
"I had a feeling that something like this would happen," Aliyah mutters, her full attention on the swim suit she’s holding up in front of her.
The top is a classic triangle style with thin straps that tie around the neck and back, offering a simple yet sultry design. The cups are just enough to leave something to the imagination while perfectly accentuating curves. The bottoms—equally bold.
Jenna's eyes narrow at the sight. "You're wearing that?"
"Nope. You are."
The older Ortega looked at her sister like she just said the most insane words known to man. "What?"
"You heard me. You're wearing it."
Jenna snorts, crossing her arms. "Not in this lifetime."
"Oh, come on!" Aliyah groans, dangling the bikini in front of Jenna like a carrot on a stick. "It’s cute, it’ll look amazing on you, and it’s a pool party. You’ll blend right in."
Jenna glares at her sister, her tone dripping with sarcasm. "Yeah, because nothing says ‘blending in’ like wearing half an outfit."
Aliyah rolls her eyes, unbothered. "You’ll thank me when you’re the center of attention. Besides..." She leans in, lowering her voice just enough to add some drama. "I’m pretty sure a certain someone would love to see you in this."
Jenna’s face flushes instantly. She hated that she actually considered wearing it for a second.
She snatches the bikini from Aliyah’s hand and tosses it on the bed before her sister can say another word. "You’re impossible."
Aliyah beams triumphantly. "You'll be thanking me later."
————
Outside, you finish getting dressed, opting for a simple look. You stick with your black sports bra and borrow a pair of pink swim shorts from Hunter, not giving much thought to your outfit. With a casual shrug, you figure it’s good enough.
As you adjust the waistband of the shorts, Hunter glances down at your stomach, his eyes lingering a beat too long on your toned abs. He smirks and quips, "Someone’s definitely gonna appreciate those."
You roll your eyes, ignoring the comment as your face heats up slightly. Pulling on your zip-up hoodie, you tug it closed halfway, hoping to downplay any attention.
Hunter chuckles softly, clearly amused by your reaction.
Before you can retaliate, Markus strolls over, sighing dramatically as he collapses onto the edge of his bed. He looks at you with exaggerated seriousness, steepling his fingers like some kind of TV detective.
"I think, as a brother, I have to do this," Markus begins, his tone solemn but with a glint of amusement in his eyes. "I’ve always done this with the guys Aliyah’s been into, so it only feels right to extend the same courtesy for Jenna."
Your stomach drops. Oh no. Is this really happening?
Markus straightens, folding his arms like a dad interrogating his daughter’s date. "What are your intentions with my sister?"
You freeze, blinking at him in horror. "What?"
Hunter chuckles, clearly finding this entire situation hilarious as he leans casually against the wall to watch the show.
"You heard me," Markus presses, his expression still annoyingly serious. "Jenna’s my sister. I need to know you’re not playing games. So, what are your intentions?"
You gulp, the words catching in your throat. You glance at Hunter for backup, but he just shrugs with a grin, clearly enjoying your discomfort.
"I…" you start, feeling your face grow hotter by the second. You will yourself to stay calm, refusing to let the teasing get to you. "Jenna’s… she’s important to me. I’m not leading her on, if that’s what you’re worried about."
Markus raises an eyebrow, clearly not satisfied.
Do you have to admit in this very moment that you maybe kind of like his sister...?
You sigh, running a hand through your hair. "Look, I don’t really know where we stand right now, but I care about her—a lot. I wouldn’t do anything to hurt her."
Markus studies you for a moment longer before breaking into a grin. "Okay, that’s acceptable. For now."
"For now?" you echo, incredulous but Markus is already getting up, stretching like he just completed some monumental task.
"Yeah. Just remember, I’ll be watching." He winks at you before heading back to his side of the room.
"What are we watching?" Aliyah's voice suddenly booms, startling you.
You whip your head around at the speed of lightning, and of course your eyes lock onto Jenna's. Thank god she had the same idea as you and wore a jumper over whatever her swim outfit was so you couldn't tell what she was wearing.
Still, your stomach knots. Shit. Did Jenna hear you talking about her?
"Nothing," you mutter to Aliyah, trying to sound casual, though the heat creeping up your neck says otherwise. "Are we ready to go?"
As you glance back at Jenna, you realize she’s watching you intently. Her gaze lingers a little too long, her head tilted ever so slightly, as if she’s piecing something together. You feel your skin flush under her scrutiny, suddenly hyper-aware of her presence.
Then, just as you think you might combust from the tension, a slow, amused smile breaks across her face. Her eyes flick downward, and you follow her gaze to… oh god. The stupidly bright pink shorts Hunter lent you.
"Nice look," Jenna quips, her voice light and teasing.
Your hands instinctively tug at the hem of your hoodie, trying to shield as much of the shorts as possible. "Yeah, well… they’re functional."
"Functional," she echoes, her grin widening. "Sure."
Aliyah raises an eyebrow, looking between the two of you. "Alright, lovebirds," she says, rolling her eyes. "Let’s get going before the party’s over."
As the group starts heading out, you walk ahead, desperate to escape Jenna’s knowing smirk. But you can’t help glancing back just once, catching her still smiling at you, her eyes sparkling with a mix of amusement and something else you can’t quite name.
————
Courtesy of Markus' Uber app, the driver slows to a stop, and you all step out, craning your necks to take in the towering building before you. The sleek glass facade gleams under the city lights, exuding wealth and extravagance.
"Jesus," Hunter breathes, his jaw practically hitting the sidewalk. "Is this a college party or a Kardashian party?"
You find yourself mirroring his wide-eyed expression. "This is… a lot," you mutter.
Markus grins. "Nah, it’s just a kid in my class. He’s cool. His family’s super rich, though."
You nod absently, but the information doesn’t exactly calm your nerves. As you stare at the building, a sudden wave of discomfort washes over you. Will it be obvious that you don’t belong here? The thought crosses your mind and stubbornly lingers, gnawing at the edges of your confidence.
You glance at Hunter, half-expecting him to share your unease, but no—he’s practically bouncing on his toes, his excitement palpable. Of course, he’d thrive in an environment like this.
Before you know it, you’re all piling into the elevator, Aliyah confidently hitting the button for the penthouse. The mirrored walls reflect your group back at you, and you take a steadying breath, trying to shake off the impostor syndrome creeping in.
As the elevator ascends, you feel a gentle tug on your sleeve. You glance down to see Jenna looking up at you, concern etched in her features.
"You okay?" she whispers, her voice soft enough that only you can hear.
You blink, caught off guard. "Huh? Yeah, I’m fine," you reply quickly, though the words feel hollow.
"You’ve been quiet," she presses, her eyes scanning your face. "You were lively during the ride, but now… it’s like you flipped a switch."
Her observation catches you off guard, and for a moment, you’re unsure how to respond. It’s not often someone notices these shifts in you—let alone calls them out.
"I guess I’m just… a little overwhelmed," you admit finally, your voice barely above a whisper.
Jenna’s lips curve into a small, understanding smile. "Don’t worry," she says, her hand brushing against yours briefly in reassurance. "You’re with us. You belong here."
Her words hang in the air as the elevator dings, signaling your arrival at the penthouse. The doors slide open, revealing a lavish space filled with music, laughter, and an intoxicating air of luxury.
You step out, Jenna’s quiet reassurance still echoing in your mind, and try to believe it.
You barely have time to process the fleeting warmth of Jenna’s hand brushing against yours before a guy—presumably the host—beelines toward your group, a wide, sloppy grin plastered on his face.
“Markus! You made it, bro!” he slurs, his sunglasses tilted crookedly on his nose, a solo cup in each hand. One is filled with something neon green, the other an alarming shade of blue, and neither looks remotely safe to drink. You take him in quickly—barefoot, dripping wet, and leaving a sizable puddle in his wake. The guy clearly just climbed out of the massive pool that stretches across the center of the penthouse and doesn’t seem to care one bit about the water ruining the hardwood floors.
While Markus greets him with a laugh and a hearty handshake, you take the opportunity to glance around. The penthouse is sprawling—easily larger than half the homes on your street combined. The walls are painted a deep, moody purple, accented by dim, neon lighting that shifts colors in rhythm with the heavy bass of the music. The furniture screams luxury, from the sleek leather couches to the glass coffee tables littered with half-empty cups, discarded towels, and the occasional misplaced phone.
The centerpiece of the room, though, is undoubtedly the pool. It’s an indoor marvel, its edges lined with glowing tiles that cast an ethereal blue light across the entire space. The water ripples as people dive in or lounge at the edges, drinks in hand. Some are modestly dressed in one-pieces or board shorts, while others push the limits of decency, their swimwear leaving little to the imagination.
The energy in the room is wild, chaotic, and undeniably alluring. You can’t help but feel a little out of place amidst the atmosphere, but there’s also a strange pull to it—a curiosity about what the night might hold.
As Markus continues his lively conversation with the host, Aliyah nudges your arm, drawing your attention. “Anyone catch your attention?" she wiggles her eyebrows while looking around the penthouse.
Thankfully Jenna didn't hear the question and you don't answer. You glance over at Jenna, who’s taking in the chaos with a cool, unreadable expression. She seems completely at ease, as if she’s seen this kind of thing a hundred times before.
Finally, the host turns his attention to the rest of your group, his bleary eyes landing on Jenna. “And who are you?” he slurs, grinning like every rich boy stereotype rolled into one. He awkwardly stacks one solo cup into the other—both already full of whatever questionable concoctions he’s drinking. The liquid sloshes over the sides and onto the floor, and you can’t help but think, Damn, it’s gonna suck for whoever has to clean this up tomorrow.
He adjusts his crooked sunglasses onto his head with one hand and extends the other toward Jenna, clearly expecting her to shake it. Jenna hesitates, her eyes darting to Aliyah for guidance. Aliyah gives her an encouraging nod, but the simple act seems to weigh on her. Finally, after a moment of visible deliberation, Jenna gives the guy’s hand a quick, perfunctory shake, her expression polite but distant.
The host grins wider, clearly undeterred. “Hope you’ve got a swimsuit under that,” he says with a sloppy wink. “Maybe I’ll see you later.”
You stiffen, your jaw clenching as the scene plays out. What the fuck? The guy’s blatant drunkenness is gross enough, but his flirty comment? That’s a whole other level of irritating. You can’t say anything—you don’t have that right—but a twinge of jealousy twists in your chest nonetheless.
Of course something like this was going to happen. How could it not? Jenna was gorgeous, and anyone with eyes could see that. All these drunk college losers were going to shoot their shot, thinking they had a chance with her. The thought makes your blood simmer, but you force yourself to look away, jaw still tight.
Jenna, to her credit, doesn’t react much beyond a slight narrowing of her eyes. She turns back to your group, brushing off the host’s comment as if it were a stray piece of lint on her sleeve.
She turns to look at you and notices the way your jaw is clenched. And she can't help but notice the burning sensation in her chest at the sight. Is this the reaction she had wanted? She should've never let Aliyah get into her head.
"Make her jealous."
Her younger sister had whispered to her before they entered the party.
You breathe out a quiet sigh, your irritation still bubbling under the surface but tempered by the fact that she didn’t seem fazed.
Aliyah nudges you again, her voice low and teasing. “Careful, your face is gonna freeze like that.”
You roll your eyes, the tension easing just slightly. This is fine, you tell yourself. This is just a party.
————
This is not just a party.
The night had started with all five of you sticking together, like a tight-knit squad entering enemy territory. But, predictably, the chaos of the party soon swallowed you up, scattering everyone like confetti. Hunter had found his place in the pool, leading a cannonball competition that echoed with cheers and splashes loud enough to rival the music. Aliyah, ever the social butterfly, was mingling with Markus’ friends—some of whom she seemed to know already, laughing and chatting like this was her natural habitat.
Markus and Jenna claimed a spot poolside, lounging on sleek deck chairs while chatting with a group of partygoers. Probably Markus’ friends, you figured. He looked entirely in his element, gesturing animatedly while Jenna sat beside him, a quiet but magnetic presence.
As for you? Well, you were stationed at the edge of the action, nursing your second cup of the mystery blue fluid. It seemed like the safer option compared to the guy mixing vodka with… was that Mountain Dew? Your self-assigned mission was simple: keep an eye on Aliyah and shoot occasional glances at the girl by the pool.
Okay, maybe more than occasional.
Jenna was wearing a black bikini that was deceptively simple, all clean lines and understated elegance. It wasn’t flashy, but it didn’t need to be. It hugged her in all the right places, the kind of outfit that made her look like she’d walked straight out of a swimwear catalog. You could still feel the lingering heat in your cheeks from when she’d first taken off her jumper.
————
She had casually peeled it off as if it were no big deal—just another layer to shed in the heat of the party. But for you? It was a moment. One second, she was her usual, effortlessly cool self in the oversized jumper, and the next, she was standing there in that bikini, and your brain just… short-circuited.
Your first thought: Oh my god, she’s gorgeous. Your second thought: No, wait, she’s always been gorgeous. Your third thought: Holy crap, I’m staring.
Hunter, of course, had noticed your reaction because he never missed an opportunity to tease. He leaned over with a smirk and whispered, “Careful, you’re gonna burn a hole through her with that look.”
You’d snapped out of it with a flustered, “Shut up,” but it was too late. The damage was done. You were blushing so hard, you were sure your face could have powered the penthouse lights.
————
Now, as you stood there, gripping your cup like a lifeline, your eyes kept drifting back to Jenna. The soft glow from the pool lights made her skin look impossibly smooth, her hair falling over one shoulder in loose waves.
You told yourself to look away—to focus on something, anything else—but it was impossible. She was mesmerizing in a way that made the rest of the party blur into the background.
Your drink was halfway to your lips when you realized you hadn’t blinked in a while. Get it together, you scolded yourself, tearing your gaze away with a sharp breath.
But even as you tried to distract yourself, the truth was unavoidable: Jenna Ortega in a bikini—scratch that. Jenna Ortega was your kryptonite.
————
You can’t take your eyes off her.
You tell yourself it’s because you’re keeping an eye out, making sure no one bothers her, but the truth is, you’re mesmerized. She looks so comfortable, so effortlessly beautiful, and it’s infuriating how easy she makes it all seem.
“Enjoying the view?”
You nearly choke on air and whip your head to the side to see Aliyah standing there, a sly grin on her face.
“I—what?” you stammer, heat rushing to your face.
"I’ve seen you looking over there about fifty times in the last ten minutes."
You stiffened, immediately defensive. "I have not."
Aliyah raised an eyebrow, her smirk betraying just how much she was enjoying this. "Uh-huh. Sure. So, you’re not staring at my sister like she’s the eighth wonder of the world?"
She laughs. “Relax, I’m just messing with you.” She leans in closer, lowering her voice. “But seriously, you need to tell her. How long are you going to keep dancing around? And not like you’re not exactly subtle either.”
You glare at her, but the effect is ruined by the fact that your face is probably as red as the solo cup in your hand. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“Sure you don’t.” She straightens up, her grin widening.
”Are you drinking tonight?” You ask her, changing the topic but also wanting to know the state of her so you can protect her as needed.
“Nope. It’s a sober night. Don’t worry about me and go get your girl before someone else does,” she urges.
Aliyah added, her tone lighter now, "if you do decide to shoot your shot, maybe don’t wait too long. She’s got options, you know."
You groan, taking another swig from your drink. The thought of Jenna with someone else is burning you.
“Anyway, I’m heading to the pool. Try not to stare too hard.”
She saunters off, leaving you standing there, flustered and annoyed but mostly just embarrassed. You glance back at Jenna, who’s now leaning back on her arms, her head tilted toward the ceiling.
You sigh and take a sip of your drink, the bitterness doing little to distract you from the whirlwind in your chest.
This is not just a party, you think again. This is torture.
————
As you leaned against the railing, sipping on your third drink of the night and trying to push Aliyah's words to the back of your mind, the host stumbled up to you, a wide, sloppy grin plastered across his face. He was holding a vape pen, which he took a long drag from before exhaling a cloud of vapor that smelled faintly of mango.
"Hey, my friennnd!" he slurred, swaying slightly as he leaned in closer than necessary. "You not havin’ a good time or what? You’re just… standing here."
You sighed, already exasperated. "I’m fine, thanks."
He squinted at you like he didn’t believe a word of it, then followed your line of sight toward the pool. His eyes lit up in drunken revelation. "Ahhh! I see what this is!" He laughed loudly and gave you a hearty slap on the back that almost made you spill your drink. "You’ve got eyes for the girl, huh?"
You stiffened, your face heating up. "I don’t know what you’re talking about."
"Sure, sure," he said, waving you off with a laugh. "You’re just standing here, gripping the shit out of that drink, sneaking glances at her like a lovesick puppy because you hate her."
You rolled your eyes, trying to brush him off, but he wasn’t done. "You should go talk to her! Make your move, my dude. Life’s short, and she’s…" He gestured vaguely toward Jenna, nearly knocking himself off balance in the process. "She’s worth it, you know?"
The sincerity in his drunken tone threw you for a loop. You frowned, crossing your arms. "Weren’t you flirting with her earlier?"
He blinked at you, then laughed like you’d just told the funniest joke in the world. "Oh, that? Dude, I flirt with everyone here. It’s, like, my whole thing. Keeps the vibe alive, you know?"
You stared at him, unsure whether to be annoyed or amused. "So, what? None of it’s serious?"
He shrugged, leaning heavily against the railing beside you. "Sometimes it is. Sometimes it’s not. Most of the time, it’s just… me trying to connect. I mean, isn’t that what we’re all doing? Trying to feel something?"
His words hit harder than you expected, and you found yourself looking at him in a new light. Despite his slurred speech and drunken antics, there was something oddly profound about what he’d just said.
"So… what are you trying to feel?" you asked before you could stop yourself.
He let out a long sigh, his grin fading slightly. "Dunno, man. Something real, I guess. You ever feel like you’re just… floating? Like, you’re surrounded by people, but none of it feels solid? So you do stupid stuff—throw parties, flirt with strangers—just to remind yourself you’re alive?"
You stared at him, taken aback by the sudden vulnerability.
This was the last thing you were expecting tonight.
"Yeah," you admitted quietly. "I think I get that."
He looked at you, his expression surprisingly sober for a moment. "Then you get why you shouldn’t waste time. If you feel something—really feel something—you gotta go for it. Otherwise, what’s the point?"
You glanced back toward the pool, where Jenna was laughing at something Markus said, her eyes crinkling at the corners in that way that made your heart stutter.
“And if you don’t wanna take that chance. And want to take the easy way out. I’ll show you how to party,” he smirks gesturing to the end of the drinks table where three girls who you hadn’t noticed earlier were very obviously checking you out.
“I feel like kissing that guy over there,” he randomly announced. “Ciao!”
Maybe the drunk host had a point. And you made your choice.
————
The last month had been an avalanche of unsolicited advice.
Anton had urged you to chase what you want. Your mom stressed staying safe and doing what’s necessary. Hunter and Aliyah kept nudging you to address whatever was going on with Jenna.
And yet, you’d done nothing. Every word of wisdom rolled off you like water off a duck’s back. That’s what made it so damn funny that a drunk party host, of all people, was the one to finally light a fire under you.
Half the room was chasing something—a feeling. The same feeling that teens, young adults, and even grown adults spent their lives chasing. Butterflies, knots, secret glances, the kind of love that makes your heart race and your world slow down. Some people would do anything to find it. Others would do anything to forget it. But not everyone gets it.
What hit you was this: half the room was drowning their emptiness in alcohol, filling voids they didn’t know how to name. You, though? You didn’t have to fill that void. Because you already had what they were searching for.
And that was why, with a newfound determination, you started walking toward Markus, Aliyah, and Jenna by the pool.
You rehearsed what you might say in your head. You doubted you had the guts to blurt out a bold “I like you”—not even after three cups of that mystery blue drink. Sure, the booze helped take the edge off your nerves, but it wasn’t strong enough to make you reckless. Nothing at this party was as potent as Sinner’s jungle juice from back home.
Maybe you’d start small: “You look beautiful tonight.” Yeah, that could work. It was a start.
One way or another, Jenna was going to leave this party knowing how you felt about her.
The closer you got, the more you shook off your nerves. You watched Aliyah, now in the pool and leaning on the edge, whisper something in Jenna’s ear. You didn’t think much of it. The party was deafening, so whispering—or yelling—was the only way anyone could be heard.
But as you closed the gap, you saw Jenna turn her attention from Aliyah to the guy next to her. He was already looking at her, and whatever he’d said made her laugh—a real, full-bodied laugh. She even reached out and playfully slapped his arm.
What the hell?
You tried to brush it off. It was just a party. A nervous habit, maybe. It didn’t mean anything.
But then she did it again. The laugh was softer this time, more intimate. The playful arm slap turned into a lingering touch.
And this time, it wasn’t so easy to dismiss.
Jenna rises onto her tiptoes, leaning closer to the guy beside her. Whatever she whispers in his ear makes him nod, a smug grin stretching across his face. He hoists himself up onto the pool’s ledge with ease, droplets of water glistening on his skin in the dim party lights. Then, extending a hand, he helps Jenna out of the pool as well.
You stand frozen, watching as they make their way around the pool—not toward you, but on the opposite side. Hand in hand, they head for the dance floor.
Your stomach knots. Your feet feel glued to the ground, and you can only stand there, watching in disbelief as they disappear into the crowd.
You could see how the guy takes in the sights of her in that swim suit and it made you seethe with anger.
Aliyah scans the room, her gaze drifting over the pulsating crowd of partygoers. She spots you across the pool, standing stiffly, your eyes locked on Jenna like she’s the only person in the room. The intensity of your stare isn’t lost on her.
Her brow furrows, and she mouths a quiet, “Oh.”
“What’s up?” Markus asks, turning to her with a confused expression.
Aliyah hesitates before answering, her voice low, almost guilty. “I think I messed up.”
Aliyah’s stomach twists as she recalls her own words to Jenna earlier: “Go with the flow; it might cause someone to spring into action.”
Markus turns to her, confused. “What’re you talking about?”
Aliyah nods in your direction. “Look at her.”
Markus follows her gaze and immediately notices you, frozen and visibly fuming, your emotions written all over your face. He lets out a low whistle. “Oof. Yeah, that doesn’t look good.”
Aliyah shakes her head, already looking around. “We need to find Hunter. I don’t see this ending well if we don’t intervene.”
Markus groans, but he’s already following her lead. “Great. Another party, another disaster.”
————
Just minutes ago, you’d felt almost enlightened, convinced you were nothing like the crowd around you—certain you weren’t chasing the same empty void so many here seemed desperate to fill.
But now? Now you felt ridiculous. Pissed. And maybe that mystery blue drink had hit harder than you realized, because suddenly, you were stalking through the crowd, determined to find the host.
He wasn’t hard to spot. Sure enough, he’d achieved his goal, currently locked in a passionate kiss with the guy he’d been eyeing earlier.
Thankfully, he noticed you approaching just in time and broke away, grinning lazily.
You stopped in front of him, your frustration bubbling over. “Show me how to have a good time.”
The host’s grin faltered the moment he registered your expression. For someone as drunk as he was, it was almost impressive how quickly his disappointment flickered across his face. He sighed, his shoulders slumping slightly, as if he’d hoped you wouldn’t end up here, fuming and frustrated.
But he nodded, brushing off the moment with a shrug and an exaggerated stumble in your direction. “Alright, alright,” he slurred, gesturing for you to follow him, leaving the guy he was making out with stranded for your sake. “Come on, let’s fix that mood of yours.”
He weaved his way back toward the drinks table, unsteady on his feet but somehow managing to avoid a complete wipeout. You followed reluctantly, your anger simmering beneath the surface as he gestured toward the end of the drinks table. The trio of girls you hadn’t noticed earlier perked up immediately, their eyes lighting up when they spotted you.
"First, we need to get you absolutely zonked!” the host cheers, thrusting a cup of that ominous green liquid into your hand.
You hesitate, staring at the swirling contents as if they might hold all the answers—or at least some of the regrets you’d rather avoid. Still, you take a sip, and the potent concoction hits you almost immediately. It’s stronger than the blue drink, and you know one thing for sure, you don’t want to get so wasted that you do something irreparably stupid at a party full of strangers. One drink, you decide. That’s your limit.
The host, however, is in full swing. “Alright! Step one done. Now, we find you a girl. The goal’s to make your gal jealous, right?”
You don’t say anything, your silence speaking volumes. He glances back at the dance floor, where Jenna’s still twirling and laughing with the guy. “Yeah, I’ll take that as a yes. She’s dancing with him, so we’re gonna play the same game. Cool?”
Guilt creeps up your spine, making your stomach churn more than the drink. You overthink everything. What would Jenna think? Would this make things worse?
The host seems to sense your hesitation. He snaps his fingers in front of your face. “Hey, stop thinking. You wanted to party, right? This is partying. Just dance and vibe—no strings attached. And bonus, she’ll notice. Maybe even pull a move herself. Cool?”
You still don’t answer, but he barrels on regardless, scanning the room with surprising clarity for someone who’s barely standing upright. His gaze lands on a girl across the room, sipping a drink and watching you with an air of quiet confidence. “I say you go for her,” he says, nodding toward her. “She’s not as desperate as those three over there practically undressing you with their eyes.” He gestures to the trio at the end of the table, but your attention is already locked on the girl he pointed out.
She’s gorgeous. Her sleek black hair falls effortlessly over her shoulders, catching the dim lights in a way that feels almost cinematic. Her lips, painted a deep red, curve into a subtle smirk as her dark hazel, almond-shaped eyes fixate on you. Those eyes… they’re hypnotic, pulling you in like she already knows the effect she’s having on you.
And then she does it—the sticky eyes trick. She looks at you, holds your gaze for a heartbeat longer than necessary, then glances away like she’s already won. It’s deliberate, it’s calculated, and it’s working.
“She’s doing it on purpose,” the host mutters, nudging you forward. “That’s your cue, my friend.”
Your feet move before your brain catches up, guilt and hesitation drowned out by whatever magnetic pull this girl has on you. As you approach, she tilts her head slightly, a single brow arching in challenge. The smirk deepens, and she takes a slow sip of her drink, her eyes never leaving yours now. It’s like she’s daring you to come closer, daring you to make the first move.
And you do.
It all happened so fast. One moment, you were walking across the room, drawn in by her magnetic gaze, and the next, you were standing in front of her. Barely any words were exchanged—just a coy smile and a simple, “Hey, I’m Sofia. Wanna dance?” Before you could even think, you nodded, and now here you are—another pair of bodies swaying in the pulsating rhythm of the music, like the rest of the world had melted away.
Her arms rest comfortably around your shoulders, her touch warm and intimate as if you’ve done this a million times before. Your hands find their place naturally at her waist, and the two of you move in perfect sync, every beat of the music mirrored in your steps. It’s effortless—the way her body follows yours, the way your energy bounces off hers.
But every few seconds, your eyes betray you, glancing over your shoulder to see what Jenna’s up to. And there she is, still dancing with that guy, laughing at something he’s said, her head tilting back just enough to make your stomach twist.
Sofia’s voice pulls you back. “Hmm, are we making that girl jealous?” she teases, her tone light but sharp enough to cut through the haze of your thoughts.
“Maybe,” you admit cautiously, the word barely audible over the music. You brace yourself, worried she’ll be offended that you’re using her for this. But instead, she smirks, her dark eyes glinting with mischief.
“Well,” she murmurs, her lips curving into a playful grin, “we’ll have to do a better job than this.” Without hesitation, she steps closer, closing the already small distance between you. Her body presses softly against yours, her movements slower, more deliberate, the intimacy cranked up just enough to make your pulse quicken.
“She an ex?” Sofia whispers, her breath warm against your ear. The words come out smooth, sultry—designed to sound just loud enough for you to hear.
“No,” you reply, your voice catching slightly. “We’re just... friends?”
Sofia throws her head back, laughing dramatically, the sound exaggerated and almost theatrical. It’s over the top, no doubt meant to draw attention. Jenna’s attention. You’re sure she’s watching now, though you don’t dare look back. Instead, you commit fully to the bit, letting the drinks loosen your inhibitions. The music thrums in your chest, your body moving like the college kid you are—reckless, carefree, and untethered.
For the first time tonight, you let yourself stop thinking. You dance like no one’s watching—though deep down, you know someone is.
————
Hunter, Aliyah, and Markus watched the scene unfold like an audience to the world’s most chaotic soap opera. Their expressions ranged from shock to amusement, with Hunter’s jaw practically on the floor.
“What the fuck did I miss?” he asked, eyes darting between you and your dance partner and Jenna and hers.
“I told Jenna to make Y/n jealous,” Aliyah admitted, her voice tinged with guilt. “And now Y/n is retaliating.”
Hunter let out a low whistle, shaking his head. “This is so not like Y/n, but I kinda like it. That girl is cute.”
Aliyah shot him a sharp glare. “Excuse me? Aren’t we rooting for Jenna and Y/n?”
Hunter snickered. “We are, but relax. This is just the pre-show. They’ll have makeup sex and get over it.”
Aliyah groaned, rolling her eyes. “Seriously? Makeup sex? They—"
Hunter smirked. “Yeah, makeup sex. You know, when they—”
Markus laughs at Hunter’s response.
“I know what it is, weirdo,” Aliyah snapped. “But they’re not there yet. They haven’t even admitted they like each other yet! They need to stop being stubborn and actually talk!”
Hunter leaned back, crossing his arms confidently. “It’ll happen. Look at them—they’re both trying to make each other jealous. This is just foreplay. They’ll be fine as long as neither of them crosses the line. Dancing? Fine. Kissing? That could screw everything up.”
Their attention snapped back to the dance floor as Jenna, spotting you with Sofia, retaliated. She moved even closer to her partner, her hands trailing over his shoulders, their movements far more intimate now.
“Oh no,” Aliyah muttered.
“Oh yes,” Hunter said, grinning. “Now it’s getting good.”
The group leaned forward, watching as you noticed Jenna’s escalation. Without missing a beat, you responded. Sofia seemed to catch on quickly, her body now pressed firmly against yours as you matched Jenna’s energy. The two of you danced as if the rest of the world had disappeared, exchanging subtle glances that grew bolder with every passing moment.
It was a game of one-upmanship now. Jenna would sway closer to her partner, and you’d mirror her, pulling Sofia even closer. Jenna’s hands would glide down her partner’s arms, and Sofia would follow suit with you. Back and forth it went, escalating with each move, the tension between you and Jenna palpable even from across the room.
“Holy shit,” Hunter muttered, his grin widening. “They’re not even pretending anymore.”
“They’re literally staring each other down,” Markus added, incredulous.
It was true. Neither of you was hiding the fact that this was all about the other. Your eyes locked with Jenna’s, an unspoken challenge passing between you as your bodies moved in sync with your respective partners. The music thumped, the crowd blurred, but all that mattered was who would break first.
Sofia's hands slid up your arms and found their way to your shoulders as you danced, her movements effortlessly in sync with yours. Her body pressed closer, her breath warm against your neck, and her fingers trailed lightly down your chest to your exposed abs, pausing there just long enough to send a shiver through you.
You felt her touch, soft but deliberate, and couldn't help but glance over your shoulder.
Jenna was watching.
Her gaze wasn't subtle—it lingered, her lips tightening as her eyes followed Sofia's hands on you. The guy she was dancing with had his hands on her waist, pulling her closer, but Jenna's attention wasn't on him at all. It was on you, her expression a mix of irritation and something else you couldn't quite place.
Then, suddenly, you froze. Breaking away from Sofia.
“What’s happening?” Aliyah whispered, her voice tight with worry.
The trio followed your gaze back to Jenna. She was standing on her tiptoes, leaning in toward her partner, her face inches from his. Her lips parted slightly, as if she were about to—
“Oh no,” Aliyah breathed, clutching Markus’s arm.
The three of them stared, holding their breath, as the moment stretched into eternity.
