rlly mad we cant still mask at work bc we overheat so badly
#we have to wear a beanie at work bc in our state its illegal to work foodservice without a hat of some kind and thats the only kind that -#- doesnt give us Severee dysphoria#i cannot wait to move so wqe can mask again and also have less dysphoria at work#any hat is dysphoria inducing tbh. fuck the law.#ok this is unrelated but we are thinking abt it irt masking#[tangent incoming]#kinda fucked up that epeople were like 'oh masks cause no breathing issues' as if they werent clearly speaking from a place of no lung issue#like we mask anyway even though our lung problems are exacerbated by it (ex. a 4hr shift with no mask gives us no problems -#- whereas the same shift with a mask will give us slight problems by the last hour)#like we masked anyways. we desperately want to mask anyways. but it WILL cause certain people breathing problems esp after extended periods#and the ways people discuss masking is kind of like. if i work for 6+ hours with a mask i literally can barely breathe#THIS IS NOT US ADVOCATING NOT MASKING#but like. have a little compassion ig
