i know it's the devs' oversight but i think it's truly so funny how bad the emperor is at pretending to be a githyanki. what do you mean "vlaakith is lying to her people and they would rebell if they found out". my guy, you are a part of the they.

#though just going against vlaakith was the stupidest thing its done from a manipulation standpoint #like u keep having to fight orpheus's honour guard #maybe you didn't know your end goal was to kill him but you certainly never wanted him to be free #your interest align with the lich queen almost entirely - except she wants him dead right away and you wanna keep him imprisoned #or maybe even just keep him alive a little longer before killing him #so why not frame it as like 'yeah vlaakith is pissed because orpheus is a traitor and she is impatient to kill him'#'but we need him ok; he's the key to keeping this whole place together; thanks to him i can be safe here in the astral plane'#but because the emperor wanted to sit on two chairs at once - it ended up really fumbling everything #cause like wym 'vlaakith is horrible' but also 'oopsie no dont listen to voss when he tells you how vlaakith is horrible just like i said'#for all its self-congradulating the emperor isn't that smart lmao #archer speaks
