1, 3 and 7 for both your skyrim OCs! :3
omg thank you so much for the ask!! 🥹🫶
wasseek and haj-thux are siblings and some parts of the answers are connected, so i'll just respond for both at the same time
1 - which areas of skyrim do they find most beautiful and most dangerous?
wasseek loves the swamps of hjaalmarch: they lived in cyrodiil since the age of four, so they remember very little of black marsh, but they have a very special place in their heart for anything that reminds them of it. haj-thux does genuinely really love the rift, mostly because the thieves guild is like her second family and they make it feel like home. as for most dangerous, eastmarch and windhelm in particular are indisputably the most dangerous place for them both to be in as saxhleels, even after ulfric gets kicked out.
3 - what are their religious affiliations, and how does their worship (or lack thereof) affect their day-to-day life?
two years after their parents' death, wasseek and haj-thux ended up living in a temple of stendarr.
wasseek grows up to be a deeply devout worshipper - they initially go to skyrim because they believe ulfric stormcloak to be a usurper and that it is their duty (as the worshipper of the god of, among other things, righteous rule) to kill him. wasseek also believes that stendarr willed them to be the dragonborn and spends a lot of time going against vigilants of stendarr, who - in wasseek's opinion - completely misunderstand and actively violate stendarr's teachings. all this to say, wasseek's devotion permeates every part of their life and every moment they breathe.
haj-thux, on the other hand, ends up being very cynical about stendarr and all aedra in general. after she joins the thieves guild and nocturnal is eventually revealed to be the group's benefactor, she does begin worshipping her, in a way, as - in haj-thux's opinion - most daedra actually help people, although they ask for something in return, and they are generally far more sensible and honest than aedra. i wouldn't say nocturnal is nearly as important in haj-thux's life as stendarr is in wasseek's - she doesn't even bother to evoke nocturnal's name while stealing or picking locks most of the time. but she does recognise her power and importance and does occasionally seek her out when she needs to.
7 - do they regret journeying to skyrim? or, if they were born in skyrim, do they wish they could leave?
wasseek absolutely does not - they feel like they are on a pretty clear path illuminated to them by stendarr, who does want them to stay in skyrim for a while. haj-thux initially did not want to go and only travelled with wasseek because they convinced her (and, as an older sister who has been taking care of her sibling since she was 13, she still feels a level of responsibility for them - especially because wasseek decides to journey to skyrim when they are just 18). but, since finding the thieves guild, she does not regret coming to skyrim, no!

thinking about meredith’s tranquil assistant again. i bet anders is so sick of explaining to people that for a mage being made tranquil is actually really really bad, i bet he’s sick of the dull look of non-comprehension in their eyes, i bet it’s like talking to a brick fucking wall, i bet he’s sick of the disconnect, i bet he feels like he’s running out of ways to explain why this is important, i bet he’s sick of explaining that it shouldn’t happen to anyone, i bet he’s sick of “but i mean they seem fine, just ask them,” i bet he’s sick of people looking at him like he’s crazy when he says he’d rather die, i bet he’s sick of seeing it more and more every single day for years and it just keeps getting worse, i bet he wonders how often “i don’t understand” is starting to mean “i don’t want to.” i bet he feels a bit paranoid sometimes. no shit. who wouldn’t. anyway
#now imagine you are a spirit of justice inhabiting the body of a man who is experiencing this#would you not also wish for vengeance and be righteous in it#anyway#dragon age#da2

SKYRIM OC ASKS
I wanted to make a more in-depth and lore-building set of questions for people's Skyrim-specific OCs! This can be used as an ask game, or if you just want to answer them all without waiting for people to ask, have at it!
(Thanks to my good fandom buddies for all the suggestions!)
Which areas of Skyrim do they find most beautiful and most dangerous?
Which cities do they prefer to stay in and why? Which cities to they avoid at all costs?
What are their religious affiliations, and how does their worship (or lack thereof) affect their day-to-day life?
Do they believe the College of Winterhold caused the Great Collapse? If no, what is their theory?
Would they be able to live off the land if they were lost in the wilds of Skyrim? How skilled are they at foraging and hunting?
What is their opinion on Skyrim's "bandit problem"?
Do they regret journeying to Skyrim? Or, if they were born in Skyrim, do they wish they could leave?
What is their favorite kind of food that can only be found in Skyrim?
Do they believe in snow/sky whales?
Are they a part of any factions, guilds, or organizations?
If they are a magic user, what is their favorite school of magic? Do they have a natural talent for magic, or does it require diligence and study?
What are their prejudices? What groups have they come to think of as 'other'? Mages? Nords? Elves? Lollygaggers?
Do they believe the old nordic tales about the Dragonborn? If they are Dragonborn how has their experience differed?
Who is their mentor? Who do they go to most for lessons?
How do they feel about consorting with daedra? Do they collect their artifacts? Are there some they would never interact with vs. some they would consider calling upon?
What are their opinions on the civil war? Do they support a side or leave them to their own devices?
Do they have family? Who doe they consider to be family?
What is their stance on taking a life? Do they kill without a second thought, in the name of a god or daedra, or do they adhere to pacifism?
How are they with money? Do they hoard, or do they spend until their pockets are empty and they have to find work again? Have they saved for any houses?
Can they read?
