I drew a postcard for my show :) the concert was really amazing I had so much fun. Genuinely one of the best nights of my life.

Idk if people want to avoid spoilers so I’ll put my rants below.

It was so AWESMOEE I have so many thoughts on each and every songgg that was my first concert experience EVER and ohh man it was spectacular

Heathens was SO GOOD LIVE. Was genuinely my favorite part of the show and HEATHENS ISNT EVEN MY FAVORITE!!! like I don’t dislike any of their songs but I have a very long list of favorites and heathens is not in it. However that being said it was spectacular. I had the most fun during that song I think that song was actually made to be played live and not for suicide squad

The transition from heathens to next semester is so so good. I didn’t notice the similarities in those songs until they were back to back. I do really wish they had played all of next semester instead of like. Half the song but it’s okay the rest of the night made up for it

THEY PLAYED GUNS FOR HANDSSS THAT SKNG MEANS SO MUCH TO MEEEE AAAAAAA I almost started crying when I heard the tune it was so so good. That song genuinely like. Made me realize so many things about myself. I’m so glad I got to hear it live

The thing with the lights in mulberry street was so cool. Honestly the whole show was so interactive he kept calling to specific parts of the stadium and had certain people doing certain things I loved it. Tyler really made sure that even the people wayyyy in the back were having fun and that the people in the pit were getting their moneys worth

After the proctologist line Tyler yelled GROSS!!!! Really loudly and I thought that was funny. He then said “you guys are wayy cooler than me. The only difference is I’m on a stage and you’re not you guys are better than me. Anyway we’re taking a photo losers.” I love him

I think I’ve said it before but everyone screaming “our brains are sick but that’s okay” was so surreal. Like wow I’m sitting in a stadium FULL of people and every single one of them treasures this band just as much as I do. Idk man there’s something so amazing about that. It really felt so amazing. I’ve never before felt like I was the same as a whole crowd of people. We’re all going through our own things but we’re all still here. We’re still alive and we’re still fighting. HELLO. so yes i somehow managed to win the game. and honestly. the final boss was pretty fun and everyone was so cute at the end omg... but i still think that side order is a bit underdevloped.... i dont even know if ill try to %100 is cuz playing it makes me SO STRESSFUL im glad i get to finish a run BUT i will definetly not be touching side order atleast for a while.... but despite i had plenty of stuff i didnt like in side order the ending managed to make me forget all that haha

1. How many works do you have on AO3?

Right now, 51! I think i started using ao3 back in college with rvb fic lol. I've since orphaned 2 fics so I guess there wouldve been 53.

2. What's your total AO3 word count?

3. What fandoms do you write for?

Right now, mostly just Twisted Wonderland (and the occasional dndads, I still have a fic in my brain I kinda wanna write for that). Twst was kinda my comeback to wanting to write fics and has been my main inspiration for a lot of things and it's been the most fun i've had writing fics I think, and it's eventually what's gotten me to try to write my first multi chapter fic.

hmmm I do not write much angst, and even when I do it's more hurt/comfort, bc permasads make ME permasad. I think it was my rvb fic "forgotten" - which i always forget was my first fic uploaded to ao3 LOL, back in 2015. ironic that my first wasnt reflective of the tone i usually write for. i don't wanna reread it to check [even tho my fics from back then are WAY shorter] bc im scared to face how i wrote when i was fresh outta hs lol BUT if i remember correctly/based on the summary, it was a doc/donut fic and I think it was about how after doc had disappeared from the future cube or whatever in canon and no one knew he was gone, i wrote a scene of doc getting upset with donut bc Of All People Why Didnt You Notice I Thought I Meant Something To You 😔 kdlsjfkdlsj i think it ended with doc walking off and donut being SAD and idk maybe they broke up, idr if they were 'officially dating' in the context of that fic. but um hashtag docnut for life.

most all of my fics are happy endings with an exception of like one ^ or two lol. I don't know if i can quantify those!

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

oooh ok well there was a dndads oakworthy thing I started like last year but pretty soon after I started it, we started seeing more of hermies forbidden other 'true' personality traits and i was like ruh roh this guy keeps pulling a fast one on me, i dont think the direction i had with this fic is fitting anymore. i had barely gotten anywhere with it and it wouldve been short anyway, but i think about what couldve been.... lololol and then for TWST umm. Hehe. Teehee even. Back during nanowrimo I used that as time to start 2 fics: kalim and the great relationship rescue, which is my current multichap fic about kalisil and jamiazu, it’s got about 3 chapters, and I’m still writing it. AND IM STILL GOING TO FINISH THAT ONE!!! but the OTHER one I started during that time and have NOT posted any of it yet was the stuff with my first twst oc, Char, and his place in my big caterella multiverse ideas lol. I’ve posted a bit about that story idea and done a lot of doodles and brianstorming for it, but I fear it would be too intimidatingly ambitious to stick to and I’m not sure writing one concrete fic is the right medium for it 🤔 plus I just don’t think many people would like it much LOL it would be very self indulgent and tapping into my soap opera brain. I feel nervous when I talk about it HAHDBFNTG so I’m not sure I could commit. But I still have what I wrote, and maybe I’ll figure out another way to go with it or maybe I’ll just wake up one day and say WHATEVER and write it anyway lol. I’ve gotten shyer again so we’ll see 🧍

16. What are your writing strengths?

umm. i do not know if it is a strength but i feel more light comedy and dialogue come more 'naturally' to me, but i do not know how well i actually can pull it off LOL also shorter, contained stories. Everything I write is a one shot, and I’m struggling on my recent attempt at a multiple chapter fic BDBFFBFNGD

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

hrhrnrngm more descriptive writing, i find im in the pitfalls of writing TOO MUCH dialogue. and i also feel like when i try to do more serious tone things it comes off as cringe or trying too hard kFDKLSHFLDSJ. no one's said that to me but yknow. fear and whatnot. also ending the story is. Hard. I feel like that’s always a weak part of my fics bc I sit there like WELL I WROTE ALL MY IDEAS HOW DO I WRAP THIS UP…. I worry my endings come off kind of half assed but I do my best lol 😔✌️

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

like are you asking if i would do it? or how i feel when it's done in fics i read? i dunno lol. i could maybe do spanish bc ive studied it a lot but i'd get nervous i think.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

on ao3 it was rvb bu teeeechnically back in my neoseeker forums days i was in there writing like, animal crossing or harvest moon or pokemon stuff. it was very bad bc i was like 10 years old LOL

20. Favourite fic you’ve written?

ohoho ummmm. Well I always have fun writing jamiazu and I’ve written a LOT of those lol. I have a soft spot for The Comfort of Familiarity. That’s one of the ones hats taken me the longest to write because I was really trying hard to handle it with care, as it was a less light tone than I typically do and I was trying to explore the characters and their situation in a particular way that I really wanted to come across well with who reads it. It was hard, and I’m not sure I fully got there, but ultimately I did like it quite a a bit. on the flipside, one of my more recent fics and I think now my longest oneshot to date, Blue Raspberry Mango was VERY fun to write lol. That one’s a lot more like what I typically write, silly romcom style lmao. Cater and Idia goofing, characters bickering, friendship, me trying to sneak in as many side ships into the background for funsies, jamiazu is there, it was a good time. And that one started as a prompt suggestion which I feel like often times I end up struggling with and not delivering super well… but this one ran away from me and I had a blast lol. Idikei fixed me 😌✌️

what a chatty creature (T), 14.7k, kandreil || 5 times neil goes nonverbal and the one time he finds his voice. i wrote this for my friend gull and had them give me 6 of their favourite words and included those in each part. i liked exploring communication with kandreil when in a slightly different font

I'm not over the fishies... Falin and Laios being dogfish sharks is so fucking good, at first i didnt think it fit cause of f.ex how small dogfish are but then i remembered the spiny dogfish(she doesnt seem to have a spine n assigning them dif dogfish species is a very fun way to circumvent the sexual dimorphism while still feeling like theyre def related but) migration thing still fits well with how Falin wants to travel 🥺 Also it's fun cause they're still doggies even though limiting yourself to fish means the more obvious dog choice of seals or eared seals(sea lions n fur seals) isn't viable(did you know there used to be japanese sea lions that went extinct in the 1970s because of overhunting?) and. I really like sharks.

I think Marcille being human actually fits very well! Feel like it parallels her fear of her loved ones dying nicely since the average dogfish and seahorses live way shorter than a human can, and the ocean is very dangerous. Speaking of, seahorse chilchuck is a lot of fun. Did you have a specific species in mind? My first thought is lined seahorse since they're very bland compared to others(no crazy colouration or thorns, etc) and can be yellow, but i dont know much about seahorses. (Please look up Coleman's pygmy seahorse if you haven't seen them before they look like they're flat)

danny canonically (well, canon enough, it was a remark from the developers) has npd right. and I have hpd and bpd and they share a lot of symptoms, being cluster b personality disorders and all. so I can proudly say

that man has awful identity issues. he spent so long pretending to be other people for praise, attention and safety that he has no idea who "Danny Johnson" is at all. sometimes he isn't even sure he's actually human. he likely dissociates a lot. he only really thought about it a while after he got taken by the entity, seeing there isnt anything to do outside of trials hes likely been in his own mind most of the time.

he may act buddy-buddy with them as a sort of second nature but he's really insecure with himself and so manifests it as hatred for other killers. (it may also be the 'canon' reason ghostface players tend to be very chill with survivors, despite him being a misanthrope. he feels safer with them because he has the cloak of superiority and being a threat with them which he doesnt have with the killers ykyk) after all he's just an average guy with a knife and knowledge on stalking, hes not overly strong without the entity's help, or tall, or supernatural in any way. to him his "backstory" isnt even bad as any of the other killers, to him at least. (it definitely was, man was literally groomed to be a murderer by his dad. but your trauma never looks as bad as the other people's you know)

also hes FTM and was 3 years on T up until he got taken by the entity (his body time kinda paused after that so he didnt revert to being feminine dw). he still has a set of tits and a coochie because in his words "surgery recovery is a waste of time, it will get suspicious if ghostface goes silent for 6 whole months" :3 he's happy with his body though... mostly. anyway thats the reason he's always hunching during trials. cant wear a binder during a chase thatd be inconvenient (please imagine a ghostface coughing and wheezing and begging the survivors to wait for him now. thank you)

he's still silly, a little clumsy but its one of the things he's less insecure about tbh. an all serious ghostface is not fun and not what wes craven would want.

I def agree on the dissociation and fucked up sense of identity, mans is a messed up lil fuck and def needs to go see an entity ordered therapist. I personally def put Danny on the aro spectrum (i dont think ace personally, aroallo moment imo) though i think more on the demi or greyaro side, and if any of the survivors are ever like, flirty he just stares at them and slowly shakes his head because oh no babygirl one thats a bad idea to try and do and two you are not the person my brain has made an exception for thats for fucking sure

Alsoalsoalso very down for him not being friends with the other killers bc hatred and lowkey jealousy but I think he looks at the legion kids and is like "Cool, I'm your uncle now." because they're the only ones like him at all, just normal dudes even smaller than he is because theyre basically just fucked up teenagers so he feels a slight kinship and he definitely doesn't play favorites at all (this is a lie Suzy is his perfect little baby and he goes full cool uncle mode with her 100% all the time)

Also Also because self shipping noises when/if a survivor or killer (im using survivor mostly bc that's where I see myself self insert wise) does catch his interest in a romantic he genuinely just fucking panics and doesn't know what the fuck to do about it. He fumbles with them a lot and suddenly most of his smooth and cool dude exterior? Gone. Vanished. Fumbling even more than usual and it makes him SO MAD so he just.......threatens them a lot and hooks them a lot because fuck you stop making me feel things i hate you but also please just like hold my hand or something what the fuck

anyways when that shits sorted I imagine it being a mutual (healthy) obsession thing where Danny treats his partner like they're the entity incarnate and partner does similar for him and everyone is disgusted by it but at least everytime partner is around in trials he's nice to them so like they can't complain.

ive watched mostly stuff from the 2000s and early 2010s, so ill be happy to point out the pros and cons of all the guys that i can remember. which is not all of them but alas, im working on it

hurricanger: really insanely weak on overarching plot but the main cast is very silly and the extra rangers have a really good arc about saying fuck you to ur shitty dad

abaranger: absolutely deranged. however, i was pretty fond of the main characters! the red is dad of all time i loooove him hes so sweet. abarekiller is here.

dekaranger: this one won an award i think? but also, its the show with cops. there are some pretty good episodes with the girlies but like. if cops executing criminals is a dealbreaker this one might not be for you

.magiranger: i dont think i finished this one but its really solid, a lot of good team interactions considering theyre like all siblings. if youve every seen “whos that idiot? oh no, thats our idiot” thats from magi. i think theres some het tax in the back half?

boukenger: ok im biased bc im fond of bouken. theres a lot of really fun characters in bouken! i like the entire cast and theres always a lot of stuff going on episode to episode! that being said. overall plot is not the strongest. ive heard that this one is the most similar to 80s-90s sentai writingwise.

gekiranger: if you love campy martial arts movies you will like geki. the red was raised by pandas in the woods and everyone is a catboy. delightful show, but i will say that the extra rangers are kinda weak. villains are FANTASTIC tho everyone loves the geki villains.

goonger: fond smile. this ones kinda deranged. however, i love it. its mostly a comedy season and never takes itself too seriously, the villain trio can more or less be described as “what if team rocket had a minibar and were robots” and the sixths are GREAT. ones a girl too! i love her

shinkenger: its a kobayashi sentai season which means it comes with an automatic rec i think. really strong visuals, and if you like an aloof red that slowly gets folded into a family this ones for you!

goseiger: nobody talks about gosei and i think thats a crime. its a solid season! the main cast is all really sweet and there are some interesting things going on with the villains. its main crime was existing in between shinken and gokai tbh.

gobusters: another kobayashi joint but this ones my favorite. a family can be an asshole red, a 20 year old dad with his teen daughter, and several robots with opinions. theyre all child soldiers and orphans. if you like gundam youd probably like this i think, its still silly but def... grounded in some ways that other sentai isnt?

kyoryuger: sorry i didnt like this one lol.

ninninger: puts one hand on ur shoulder. look. i. ok look. i cannot in good conscience rec this to you as ur second sentai. it has a REALLY rough start a lot of the actors were not doing well with filming in the beginning and it shows. however. i fucking love ninnin. if youve noticed that modern sentai does a lot of nonstandard non-stock pose rollcalls. ninnin invented that and they were right to do that.

I'm actually not as versed in sentai, which I am gradually changing but 50 ep series are very long. my absolutely top pick much watch shows are:

Ressha Sentai ToQger: REALLY LOVE THIS SERIES!!! SUPER FUN DYNAMIC OF CHILDHOOD FRIENDS!!!! THE 6TH RANGER IS MY FAVE OF ALL TIME!!!!!! GENUINELY COMPELLING OVERARCHING PLOT WITH VERY WELL-PACED DEVELOPMENTS!!!!! THE VILLAIN POLITICS ARE REALLY INTERESTING AND THERE ARE A LOT OF VIBES!!!!!!! THE AESTHETIC IS REALLY GOOD!!!!!!!! MADAME NOIR IS THERE!!!!!!!!! MISS KOBAYASHI WROTE IT!!!!!!!!!! genuinely while watching the show there's a lot of moments where I go. wow. I'm glad kids watched this, there's a very positive message that's delivered in a gentle, kind, and entertaining way.

Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger: super fun. SUPER fun. all of the characters are lovable dumbasses in varying and overlapping flavors. everyone has super strong Just Some Guy energy and it's really interesting to have the majority of the sentai team be suit actors. I think one of the staff said something to the effect of the zenkaiger team being basically a team of losers and they are and it's very endearing. I also really like the writing here, not only is it REALLY funny, there's a lot of good drama with family stuff and one of the antagonists accidentally adopting himself to the main character's grandma, and the space pirates are also there being a nuisance. in general there's a really good variety of dynamics. Miss Komura is the lead writer if I remember right.

I'm in the middle of watching kaizoku sentai gokaiger right now, which is really entertaining. miss komura described the pirates in zenkai as 'pirates playing at being heroes' and the gokais as 'heroes playing at being pirates' and she's so right. the gokais are all like heh!!! we're pirates!!! we don't care about anyone but ourselves!!! and then they go and do stuff like pawn their jewelry so they can pay for meals at a restaurant
