i was thinking that maybe one day it would be cool to actually put some effort into doing ALL of the arena challenges in normal mode (i only did the last level in intermediate, and i don't hate myself that much to attempt them in ultra hard) but like...the last level in legendary is VS an apex thunderjaw and an apex scorcher....and the second level of the champion one is 4 apex clamberjaws with TWO APEX bileguts?! WITH the last level being a slaughterspine and an apex frostclaw??? bitch....i already have enough trouble with ONE apex thunderjaw. now to do it under a time limit and being charged 100+ shards for every try i want to do? yeah i guess these arena challenges are not for me lol :'v

#hfw #horizon #horizon forbidden west #and i only did the last level in intermediate with like 500 ms to spare or some dumb crap like that #also i can't be bothered to level up the legendary weapons #i'm still using the purple-leveled weapons except for the spike thrower #the one they give you in the dlc is pretty good and i had already most of the necessary items to upgrade it to the max #also i am too lazy to learn how to properly use the other weapons #the only non-bow weapon i use is the spike thrower. that thing makes stormbirds a piece of cake.#like the shredder gauntlet seems cool and could be super useful #but like...i can never catch it three times in a row!#so i guess it's my own fault lol maybe one day i will learn how each of the million weapon types they have in hfw are useful #against what type of enemy. cus i can get the hang of slaughterspines and thunderjaws.#but shellsnappers??? fuck. them.#junk
