i know we all talk about how badly riverdale butchered archie comics but i also think we need to mention the webtoon big ethel energy. :/
#the way it makes jughead out to be a total asshole when hes just. aroace?#like he was just uncomfortable from ethels advances??? he isnt some sharp asshole??????#and like yay for ethel getting her hashtag girlboss moment but it just feels. forced?#idk i dont like how its made to be that everyone bullied her#like that paints a lot of beloved and kind characters very poorly? its almost like theyre forcing plot#and also they made veronica suuuper vapid and shallow#like yeah shes a rich girl and yes she has her bitchy moments#but there are so many times in the original comics where she is just. human. soft. kind.#like the characterisations in this webcomic rub me the entire wrong way#i just. i really dont like it. i had to drop it bc it was too hashtag girlbossy iykwim#ocean.mp3#hi i grew up on archie comics so i have. opinions
