as far as one piece antagonists go Crocodile truly gets absolutely scooby-doo’d at unmatched levels
He immediately falls for a phone scam and from basically little garden to rainbase he doesn’t even know the strawhats are alive (and clowning towards him at incredible speed). As soon as he does, they’re in his house tearing at his walls and bringing marines into his villain lair.
He uses a literal floor trap door over a gator pit to catch them, gets phone scammed again, full scooby-doo chase scenes after Chopper through the streets while still missing him, and suddenly his prisoners have escaped his impossible cage, and his giant bananagators are dead. and Nico Robin saw it all happen.
He then spends rest of the arc complaining about those meddling kids and their dog “strawhat pirates and their weird pet” and at no point does he even know how many strawhats there are.
Like yeah he keeps having plans on top of plans to stop everything Vivi can do but also she keeps coming up with a new thing to do (Tom and Jerry ass dynamic).
Part of it is that he’s underestimating them and keeps grandstanding villain monologuing but also teens keep killing hundreds of his grand line bounty hunters and he straight up does not know what is happening.
Cause he IS trying to kill them he’s sending top assassins after them and ripping out luffy’s organs, the whole time he’s yelling HOW ARE YOU ALIVE?? DIE. as whack-a-mole Luffy keeps inventing new ways to hit him.
#who would win: an untouchable warlord w 1000 plans and a million agents or 1 bouncy boy and his 4-10 (croco has NO idea how many) companion#he literally says like go kill all 4 strawhats and their pet thing verbatim#p sure he thinks there’s like at least a dozen strawhats by the end and more then one mr prince#sanji and chopper are basically shaggy and scooby throughout rainbase like if they had stopped for snacks instead then came & freed evryone#honestly the plans on plans is the only reason he made it as far as he did cause they were knocking through them mach 10#he was in mob boss spy thiller mode and the strawhats are NOT matching his energy#he’s getting conned he’s getting clowned on his mouth is punched off mid line and now someone has called the cops (marines)#sir crocodile#monkey d luffy#nefertari vivi#tony tony chopper#black leg sanji#roronoa zoro#nami#usopp#straw hat pirates#one piece#alabasta arc

I feel like people misunderstand Sage’s character because they misunderstand debate
Ergo, Twitter is to blame for Sage of Truth mischaracterization
#and ‘mischaracterization’ isn’t exactly the right term— we really only have scraps of character to work with so that word isn’t exactly it#obviously everyone is entitled to their own opinions + I only know English version Sage#maybe it’s because I’m really into debate but.#I see people taking his lines challenging people to debate as him feeling superior and needing to win#and that’s! not why people like debate!#there are some people I’m sure who like debate because they like showing how smart they are and beating other people and stuff#but 1) that’s not the vast majority of people and 2) that’s not what’s happening with sage#sage likes debate because he likes having his ideals challenged and he likes seeing how other people think—he likes understanding himself#better by having to prove his own beliefs and he likes understanding other people better by having to analyze their arguments and understand#their reasoning. like when recluse originally tells him to stop teaching about the truth he’s very welcoming and more importantly:#he ends the interaction by telling recluse that his truth is helping/protecting others#Sage is saying ‘I’ve heard your argument and I disagree but now I better understand you as a person’ when he’s telling recluse his ‘truth’#this is also shown in the voice lines when Sage asserts that everyone has their own truth—the Sage of Truth likes using debate to figure out#people and their ‘truths’#hes not trying to prove he’s better he’s moreso just excited to explore why he thinks what he does and why others think what they do#don’t get me wrong: he definitely is aware of his own intelligence and debating the literal Sage of truth is an unfair fight by design#but debate isnt a tool of his ego#his main concerns in life are understanding his own truth + understanding the truths of others + encouraging others to discover their truths#not furthering his public image or garnering slack-jawed awe#it’s neither inferiority nor superiority that drives him but rather curiosity#which lends itself to making him weird as hell in a neutral direction#sage of truth#crk#shadow milk cookie

i just found out that there is a way you can keep wyll & karlach and still raid the grove and it's if you kill them first and then resurrect them after its over which is kind of hilarious... like... imagine...

#i'm still not 100% sure what my bhaal-betraying banite durge will do with the grove#her only real goal is to do whatever gets her power and either gets rid of the tadpole or lets her continue to use it without risk#and i'm not sure there's much benefit to helping the tieflings other than i guess they pay you for it if you ask#or maybe if she believes halsin can actually help (but she doesn't really)#on the other hand there's actually not really that much benefit to helping the cult because other than minthara they are all clearly grunts#although i suppose she may be thinking that it would be easier to infiltrate moonrise towers if they vouch for her#so ultimately i think she's more likely to help the cult#honestly the main out-of-character reason i was thinking to help the tieflings is to not lose wyll & karlach so i get new content with them#since i didn't have either of them last time#so if i can keep them anyway i may still raid it but on the other hand i think i lose halsin no matter what if i do that#and i didn't have him last time either#plus i believe i wouldn't be able to finish karlach's questline#tbh i wonder what happens if you just ignore the grove#like i know the goblins/minthara win that way but i wonder if wyll/karlach/halsin still get mad at you#but objectively i would think ignoring it is not a logical option either because picking a side gets you more of a benefit#unless you're just thinking neither benefit is worth it and you'd rather just get on with shit#banite durge is trying not be a total murderhobo & only kill with a purpose#like ruthlessly still sure but purposefully#honestly embrace durge left both act 1 and act 2 with nearly no one left alive on the map#so it will not be hard to kill less often than embrace durge did

#natsume yuujinchou#anyways my objective with this was 1. to have a little fun#and 2. to see if a silly little joke i cooked up in my brain had any basis#hehe anyways#even tho baby matoba can be tanuma's spitting image sometimes#i only compared tiny tanumas and matobas so idk if this actually has any meaning lol#tho from comparing them i noticed that teen matoba has a smaller face and longer lashes in comparison to tanuma#tho it's hard to see that when they're tiny like this (tho you can kinda see the long lashes on the left one)#also i did compare current timeline matoba and tanuma#but besides the longer black hair (that is already so distinct in this sea of light haired ppl lol) they dont look that much alike#but i did notice that midorikawa has been drawing matoba with longer lashes in recent chapters#and even tho they're not as long as natsume's they're just as long as shinobu's#so (excluding the color) they have like the same eyes especially the narrowed snake-like format#no wonder matoba and shinobu can look so alike in some panels#tho shinobu is that much more expressive so we see her eyes being more than just narrowed lol#also also another thing i noticed#is that present matoba has a smaller face in comparison to natori and other adult male characters most of the time#tho it's not frequent enough for me to be sure that it's an actual character design trait (scratches head)#anyways#i managed to actually fool majority of you!!!#an actual win in my book#also ignore my vote i just wanted to see results bf the poll was over at some point lol

Honestly Ben 10 is probably one of the most based science fiction series out there by sheer virtue of it having the balls to showcase any alien concept it wanted to no matter how ridiculous, and whenever someone is like “there’s no way in Hell that could ever be scientifically feasible”, it dared to look them in the eyes and go “Yeah, well, this is a world where magic and superpowered mutants also exist. What are you gonna do? Cry about it? You grown ass adult who’s expecting scientific feasibility out of a cartoon meant to sell toys to preteen boys that has lore so inconsistent it’s almost impossible to tell what’s canon and what’s non-canon? LMAO loser.”
I mean OS had it all- obviously aliens but not only that, at minimum 10 of them; mutants in daily life across at least America, no doubt in other places too; magic, albeit one without a system beyond ‘there’s a spellbook and some charms’. The shift to purely alien in AF makes the wonderful nonsense sci-fi stuff into frustrating logic trees of ‘how does xenobiology get this powerful’ which I had definitely fallen into. Ben 10 is unabashedly science fantasy, so why not go the full fantasy and bring back mutants and magic, haha!
Admittedly a good implementation of magic in a series tends to follow a magic system, which I’m not especially great at coming up with, especially in comparison to speculative biology which come with pre-established rules. But hey, I don’t exactly expect it to be fleshed out, at least not as well as the alien aspect of Ben 10; even then, there’s only so much fleshed out, it’s to tease us into making lore for it lmao-
To be fair though, Ben 10 itself had to whack itself on the cheek in order to be reminded of its magic and especially mutant parts, which unfortunately in the latter case was central to major retcons so…

Anyways, my headcanon is that Kristoph has a very particular "type" and most of the people he's romantically/sexually attracted to meet at least two (2) of the following criteria:
Dark-haired
Sarcastic and/or mean but with a strong protective streak
Fiercely independent
Extreme, perhaps irrational sense of loyalty to their cause and/or loved ones
Buff/Muscular/Strong/Athletic (or at least buffer/in better shape than Kristoph which isn't particularly hard to achieve)
Older than him (even if only by a year or so)
Therefore, I feel fairly confident in concluding that Kristoph might hypothetically be attracted to all of the following people.
Phoenix Wright (the prototype, the whole package)
Godot|Diego Armando (no longer dark-haired, but he was pre-coma ).
Simon Blackquill (not an "older" man but honestly his height/build would probably more than make up for it)
Shi Long Lang (hair isn't particularly dark but the rest fits)
Raymond Shields ( fits apart from not being particularly buff but might still be buffer than Kristoph )
Dick Gumshoe (not particularly mean and a bit less independent than the others but the rest fits)
Dhurke Sahdmadhi (not particularly mean/sarcastic but definitely gives off 'intense, don't f*ck with me' vibes at first)

I um. I may have accidentally sped ran creating a crack AU, and then a crackship to match. and now I actually really like the idea of said crackship
(it's Pure Vanilla and Pitaya Dragon, with a side of polyancients so it's not like. super far fetched but what the hell they were supposed to be the driving conflict in this AU why are they now flirting????)
#... the AU was a timeloop based among us AU by the way. specifcially based off alpharad's videos with the modded stuff#some specific AU ideas that inspired this:#1) PV getting imposter and Pitaya getting sheriff. Pitaya holding him at gunpoint; taunting about how he would've ended up here regardless#only for PV to bash their skull in with his staff. Pitaya now both wants to kill him and has a newfound admiration#(this is a couple weeks into the timeloop and they're both pissed about being separating from their friends and have been fighting for days#2)a silly lovers game where PV is altruist and Pitaya is jester; and PV resurrects an imposter willingly to get himself out of this shithol#right when Pitaya was at the perfect point to get voted out#3) talking about the other ancients between games and how much they miss them; only for Pitaya to accidentally compare PV to Hollyberry#which is basically a huge honor because Hollyberry is one of their closed relationships#4) a different lovers game; this time when they're both imposters. it's scary how well they worked together to get the win#5) PV getting sheriff; and for once. for *once*. trusts that Pitaya isn't the imposter this time. despite everything; he can't fully pull#the trigger. so he doesn't and crew wins because of it. because Pitaya was a guardian angel to the imposter#and they tell PV the other after their charge is voted out#crk au#crack au#crackship#crk crackship#cookie run kingdom#crk#pure vanilla crk#pitaya dragon crk#(and on top of that; why can I see them working weirdly well in just a general polyancients situation?#like. Surely Pitaya would find it interesting that the perfect student; the healer with no flaws; dabbled#in such dangers?#and PV looking at Pitaya; and seeing the kindness that seems inherent in their actions. they're big and they'll fight anything that moves#but they care about their home. about the cookies they choose to associate with. about snapdragon and hollyberry and maybe. *maybe*.#deep down in the farthest depths of their heart; the other dragons)
