#like someone said the cgi in cbs was really bad ???
Text
Ok so I'm a very new fan of CBS Ghosts and I am absolutely obsessed! I became very quickly emotionally attached to all the characters and the show is just so funny and charming in every way.
I was excited when first getting into the show to watch the original version when I finished BC yay! More of this concept on a different historical context! But then in my search to find fandom spaces for CBS Ghosts I was discouraged to find so much unnecessary hate towards the show I'd really come to love from the BBC fandom. I honestly will never understand what the BBC shooters who feel like they have to insert their hating voices to spaces meant for people who like and actually watch the show get from doing so. I get wanting to promote your fav show but how does shitting CBS and telling fans to watch BBC instead help sell your show? Both shows could peacefully coexist but some BBC fans really out there acting like the CBS version they didn't even watch just existing is the worst sin that could ever be committed.
But anyways that's not the point of this post. I actually wanted to talk about my journey currently watching the BBC version after completely falling in love with CBS.
I will admit that I have biases watching that I wish I didn't. It's almost subconsciously out of spite for all the times I've seen BBC fans INSIST it's a masterpiece and better written than CBS. It's also probably my emotional attachments to the CBS characters that make it a little tougher to feel close to the BBC characters. I've taken into account the things that make me a little more critical in my watching experience and try to push them aside so I can enjoy the show as it is.
It's what fans of both show need to do (and lots already have) BC despite the shows having the same concept and having similar character tropes and some of the same jokes/punchlines, they are vastly different shows. A lot of the critiques I have towards BBC comes down to me being used to the tone and characters in CBS so adjusting to the different takes on the concept that BBC had is a bit of a tonal shock. In this sense I completely understand avid BBC enjoyers being put off by CBS at first. But it's not a matter of bad writing like some fans insist, it's just DIFFERENT.
Honestly I find them to be about the same in terms of quality and writing. I bust a gut laughing watching both and thoroughly enjoy the different ghost antics that both versions get up to. Each show explores the concept in different and fun ways which really makes them both worth the watch. I just think it's unfair to say one is bad just BC it's different.
CBS isn't trying to be exactly like BBC. Where BBC functions closer to a comedy drama, CBS functions more like a slice of life (slice of death if you will) sitcom. Where BBC builds the relationship between the ghosts and Allison slowly overtime, CBS jumps right into it to establish a feel good nature to the show focused on the bonds they have with each other. CBS is also very camp in a way that I love. It's very important to understand that the tones of these shows are fundamentally different and I think both work really well for what they're trying to be.
This is entirely too long but I just wanted to get my thoughts out. I'm enjoying the BBC version so far but I wanted to discuss how my biases were playing into my viewing experience. I also feel like I needed to rant since so much of the criticism I've seen towards CBS feel very silly and like people are just trying to find an arbitrary thing to complain about and call it bad writing without taking into account it's like that BC the show functions differently in tone. And that this goes both ways! Acknowledge your biases folks and don't spread unnecessary hate in spaces where people just wanna spread their love for a show they genuinely enjoy! Don't yuck my yum and I won't yuck yours!

BUCKLE UP KIDS BC THIS SHIT IS WAY TOO LONG BC I HAVE 0 SELF-CONTROL: A LILY EDITION
Lily is trapped AF. She is an important figure of the Muggleborn Resistance/one of the branches of the Muggleborn Resistance… She’s quite a powerful player because she managed to secure allies… pretty much everywhere (hello Wynona, hello les deatheaters). BUT her branch is very cult-like (yes, this is canon, I thought this through and through promis). It started most likely when she helped a bunch of them to escape from a Mudblood Camp (which was mostly accomplished thanks to/with Sacha but I guess he would try to avoid the spotlight??) Then she was captured a bunch of other times, always escaped, was almost killed a bunch of times, always survived (just Lily stuff). (Also the fact that she disappeared on a crusade for months after the virus to find the muggle survivors and buried/burnt so many bodies… Imaginaries, you know). And that kept on going. At first she thought this was bullshit, she’d make fun of Fury and the bunch of other people treating her like a Wanheda. But then Aron died, and THAT changed everything. Because the building of the Muggleborn Resistance, like you said, it was all for people like him. And every fucking thing Lily did, it was all about him first and foremost. Before her people. Before anyone else. And failing at it, losing the purpose she had for years?? She almost gave up. But then they were these people telling her she survived for a reason, she was meant to do something, she was the queen of the dead of whatever bullshit… Well if she ever met an oracle confirming that, she’d accept it. There HAS to be a reason why SHE survived when everyone else around her is… dead, brainwashed, gone. So she played into that. And Lily, while being an atheist, has always strongly believed in fate and destiny. So in the long run, she’d buy it… Would come to believe she is the only one capable of saving her people from going extinct, and would take drastic measures to prevent it from happening. She has to have a reason to keep going, and so do the people around her because they fucking suffered so much. So that’s what she does – sort of brainwash herself. That’s how she survives, but that’s not how she may live.
Random bullet points and further ranting:
 ·         CLARIFICATION 1: I’ve seen you were confused by some stuff I mentioned like the “Fenugreek drama” which makes sense because I’ve never explicitly spoken about it mdr. But basically, the idea is that Fenugreek got injured during a battle, pretty badly. Healers managed to “bring him back” but he was just done. He did not want to keep on fighting. So he begged everyone in the room to end his suffering and no one was willing to do it because he was a kid. And finally Lily stood up and she did it. (Sung The Parting Glass while doing it because hey, remember Fenugreek was Irish too). That’s the moment when things started to go ugly with Aron.
·         CLARIFICATION 2: Lily thought Aron was dead right after she was saved by the Rebellion so I need to check but… mid-1998? Sullivan had caught her and tricked her/her memory into thinking they had killed her brother (he officially did it because they needed to “stop” Lily (mdr the deatheaters thought Lily was a hell of a threat at that time remember) (and the Rebellion was just like “humpf nice kid, how did she survive tho”) ANYWAY it was his way of “stopping” her without killing her) (what a bitch, is he dead btw) (I think so). So after that she had a few weeks/months of being batshit crazy, always running away, having edgy/suicidal behavior, and ultimately savagely killing a deatheater. That’s when she decided it was too much, and since she felt something was wrong with her memory she went to NZ and found her family safe and sound :’) and brought back to the UK :’)
·         NOT RELATED BUT CANON: Lily’s ancestors were Vikings. Warriors, explorers. And overall nice people. Btw can we have talk about this? http://www.irishsurnames.com/cgi-bin/gallery.pl?name=evans&capname=Evans&letter=e PEACE. SINCERITY. WOLVES. So anyway long shot I’m sorry but………….. What if Lily’s and Nathan’s ancestors already crossed paths on the sea????
·         NEEDS MORE THOUGHT: Lily is a FREAKING GOOD Occlumens. And she uses it way too much. And it’s messing with her mind, her health, and pretty much everything around. Definitely weakens her a lot but she can’t stop. (Also because of what happened when she let down her guard and thought Aron was dead). But the whole Josephine plot….. Makes me wonder if she could not have one such moment again, because she’s frankly exhausted. What if someone takes advantage of it? What if someone attacks her in what is supposed to be her greatest strengths?? HOW BAD WOULD THIS BE???
 ·         NEEDS MORE THOUGHT: SACHA. I always thought of him as a sort of mini-Aron… (and so did Lily, for a while). But you know what Sacha really is? A mini-Lily, struggling not to become everything Lily is at the moment. And Lily, as blinded as she is atm, she can see that. She can feel that. And she’ll be willing to fucking protect that. She won’t be a perfect friend because she’s… she’s fucked up, tbh. Damaged to a point that may not ever be fixed. But she’ll try. She’ll be that one person to tell him to never, ever give up on his brother (even though she may fail at providing him with the support needed to do so). She’ll make sure he does not have to do the fucked-up shit/get his hands dirty. But even more so…. She could use him as her moral compass? Like she has her personal “circle” of counselors if you will (most of them being fanatics :’)) but gradually, she’ll end up turning to Sacha. Because she can see herself in him – everything she used to be, everything she wishes she still was. And speaking to him is like speaking to an older version of herself, a better version of herself. I really want Nathan to be the one helping her out of this mess but… This could certainly help. If Sacha tells her something’s wrong, she’ll listen. She may not seem like she is, but she will.
Finally, I don’t know if you can tell but I’ve been getting A LOT of Nathalily vibes lately. They’re like BROTP ENDGAME YO. There’s definitely angst in there. Lily’s almost exclusively with the Muggleborn Resistance now (she stuck with the rebellion for a while because Aron literally refused to follow with the Muggleborn Resistance and stayed with the Rebels mdr). As you said, the Rebellion and the Muggleborn Resistance have different endgoals and they must sometimes clash, which means that LILY AND NATHAN CLASH. Also the Aron drama must have damaged their relationship somehow (I’m sorry bitch but because of Bellarke I can just SEE Lily slapping Nathan in the face, and the only way she would resort to this would probably be Aron-related). (Also remember that in the Excidium verse Lily had literally LEFT Nathan’s movement because she disagreed so much with it and what he was becoming) (and remember on the CB of les Ames Mortes when Nathan literally ATTACKED Lily to show her how unprepared she was to face the war) (THERE’S ALWAYS BEEN ANGST GNNNN)
But, my point is, even though their relationship might be complicated, even though they’re in conflict sometimes (what if they literally find themselves on opposite sides mdr) (I mean with what you said I could see some Resistants being AGAINST the Rebellion), they’re just ALWAYS THERE for each other. Like there’s a super sensitive thing to do and Lily just goes like “yeah, ask Nathan” without even thinking because!! she trusts him so much!! no matter what!! And everyone’s like “really????” and she’s looking at them like “wtf idiots”. Idk, like the unconditional trust and the unconditional love and the unbreakable bond is still here no matter what? She would come under a minute if she heard he was in trouble, and she would put her life into his hands without even having to think about it. Am I making sense??? And they need to have an emotional retrouvailles sequence with a running!hug and shit. Nathan also needs to help Lily out of this mess hihi. OR Lily could give up all this bullshit when Nathan goes “””dark”””?? Because it was not just Aron her priority – it was her brother, and Nathan’s just that to her.
(Also I’m a sucker for Lily/Nathan saying they’re each other’s brothers and sisters and everyone being like YOU DON’T HAVE THE SAME BLOOD. YOU DON’T EVEN HAVE THE SAME SKIN COLOR. AND SO WHAT BITCH)
Anyway so I’m emotional, I don’t know if you could tell
(Regarding the last gifset: I mean, Lily’s a badass survivor, she’s incredibly luckily and shit. But Nathan plays a big part in her survival over the last few years, both physically and mentally, that we need to acknowledge :’))

Here's what you need to know about those CGI influencers invading your feed
Tumblr media
Human influencers like Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner might want to secure their positions in the influencer realm before they get ousted by glorified Sims.
That's right: There are now computer generated images that do exactly what human influencers do. There's a human behind each one — coming up with captions and manually generating the content — though it can be unclear who exactly that person is. The financial threads are equally hazy, but you can be sure that someone is making money off of these "people."
According to CBS, the digital influencer market is set to reach $2 billion in the next two years. The scariest thing is just how convincing these artificial influencers really are: 42 percent of people who were following a digital Instagrammer didn't realize it wasn't a real person, according to a recent study by the media company Fullscreen.
SEE ALSO: 'Alita: Battle Angel' is relevant for cyborgs and humans alike
I set out to understand who exactly these new influencers are, and why they exist. That involved interacting with them — or at least trying to. The feeling of being left on read by people who don't exist is a unique one. It also made me feel like they're hiding something. But here's what we know ... so far.
Rest assured, they'll either save us from the digital malaise we’ve all scrolled ourselves into, or destroy us further.
Lil Miquela, 1.5 million followers
Lil Miquela, or Miquela Sousa, is a perpetually 19-year-old girl from Downey, California. She has all the necessary ingredients for Insta-success: good looks, flashy clothing, a nonexistent yet bottomless bank account, and a passion for activism. It's easy to forget you're looking at a bot when reading her captions, which are sprinkled with witty remarks and relatable musings. "No lie, I wish I’d been assembled in the ’90s ..." she quips, echoing the very human desire to be from another time. It's part of what makes her so popular — and so uncanny.

So am I just going to have crushes on everyone this year? That’s how it’s gonna be, huh? Cool, cool.
A post shared by *~ MIQUELA ~* (@lilmiquela) on Jan 4, 2019 at 5:08pm PST
The algorithmic babe was named one of the 25 most influential people on the internet by Time last year, alongside Busy Philips and Logan Paul. (She was the only non-human to make the cut.) It's safe to say the integration of bot personalities into the mainstream has begun.
In addition to being an influencer, she’s also a singer and merch seller. Miquela has around 52,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. Not bad for someone who doesn’t exist in the physical realm.
And the merch? Socks from Club 404, Lil Miquela's overpriced swag brand, will run you $30 for two pairs.
But wait a second, why CGI influencers?
Before we introduce more of these new age avatars, it's important to understand how they came to be. Cue Brud. And Cain Intelligence.
Brud is the LA-based tech startup credited with Miquela's existence. It's described as a  "transmedia studio that creates digital character driven story worlds," whatever that means. Other than that, it's pretty much a mystery. We do know that it was founded by two people: Sara DeCou and Trevor McFedries, neither of whom could be reached for comment.
Cain Intelligence is even more of a mystery. Founded by Daniel Cain, who may or may not be real, the company is another startup. It describes itself as "the industry leader in Conscious Language Intelligence (CLI), a type of Artificial Intelligence that allows for humans to engage with our specialized robots in free-format, natural language." The website feels bleak and dark, something a villain in a spy movie would create. (It's also pro-Trump.)
If you're reading this and you're confused, that's sort of the point. Lil Miquela and Blawko, another CGI influencer, are characters created by Brud. Bermuda, also a CGI influencer, was made by Cain Intelligence. Allegedly. But wait: Bermuda now has Brud's Instagram page tagged in her own bio, followed by the message "Look closer"; likewise, Brud's bio identifies Bermuda as a client. Seems like Cain was a marketing hoax to launch Bermuda and her right-wing agenda? As a scheme to get attention for the entire CGI universe Brud has created, it seems to have worked.
The only person I was able to get in contact with about these three CGI influencers was Jemma Litchfield from Huxley, the creative agency that represents Miquela, Bermuda, and Blawko. In an email, she said she "looked after Miquela." She said they weren't doing interviews, but she'd fact check for me, if I'd like. She didn't offer any clarification about Brud or Cain Intelligence, but instead shifted some sentences around and corrected my first-draft grammar.
Perhaps the enigmatic nature of Brud and Cain is the reason their influential prototypes have become so successful and so followed. Curiosity today usually leads to a Google search. But when there's no information available beyond what you already know, it can prompt a fascination. Or frustration.
Anyway, meet Miquela's digital squad: Bermuda and Blawko.
Bermuda, 133k followers
Bermuda is a controversial blonde known for stirring the digital pot. She's pro-Trump and describes herself as a "robot supremacist." She also once hacked Miquela's page, which gained followers for both of them, pushing Miquela past the 1 million mark, a milestone that opens up a lot of doors in influencer world, including lucrative brand deals with prominent designers.
Now Bermuda and Miquela are friends who hang out, go to lunch, and put makeup on each other— digitally.

Blawko, 135k followers
Miquela and Bermuda are joined by another Brud-born character, Blawko, whom they both seem smitten with. Just like Miquela and Bermuda, he offers an eerily authentic personality. He plays video games, goes on dates, and doesn't clean his room. As for the bizarre love triangle between him, Miquela, and Bermuda ... Are we supposed to imagine them in compromising positions? Is this a clear representation of CGI flirtation by default? We're not really sure!

Aside from the Brud crowd, there are other CGI influencers out there in the digital space.
Lil Wavi, 12.1k followers
If you squint, Instagram user @lil_wavi might seem like just another Soundcloud rapper-looking hypebeast, dressed in the latest streetwear and spattered with tattoos. Upon further inspection, you'll see he's a digitally-rendered avatar in human clothing. His graphics give off an edgy early-2000s Sims vibe. Since he "lives in a computer," he can get his hands on expensive pieces of designer clothing that he describes as "the drip" and cites as his main draw. "I’m all about innovation, encouraging creativity, pushing minds to think out of the shitty boundaries," he — or, rather, the unidentified human speaking for him — told Mashable over email. "I want my fans to be influenced in that way. It’s important to me that I am sending positive vibes out to them all."

Noonoouri, 279k followers
Brand deals and fashion show appearances abound for this influencer. It's unclear how a digital avatar can attend IRL events, but a quick scroll of her page will show her doing just that. Noonoouri takes her role as influencer very seriously. When Vogue Australia asked about her favorite beauty products, she answered, "I love KKW Beauty contour and highlight — they truly work!" Since she's done ads — on YouTube and on Instagram — for KKW Beauty before, it's no surprise that she would plug the products. What's surprising is that a digital persona who looks straight out of a Pixar short is using makeup and getting paid for it.
Joerg Zuber, Noonoouri's creator, spent several years making her before debuting the influencer on Instagram. A visit to her page suggests she was recently in Africa for a number of fashion-related appearances. And she's from Paris, France, according to her Instagram bio. "I am who I am. If I can help or support others I am very happy. I believe in swarm intelligence. In times like these we need to share and not to hold back," she told Mashable via email.

"I have a real soul," says Noonoouri.

Shudu, 172k followers
Self-identified as "The World's First Digital Supermodel," Shudu was created by beauty photographer Cameron James Wilson as an art project. She blew up when her image was featured on Rihanna's Fenty Beauty Instagram page. In the photo, she's modeling one of the buzzy beauty line's lip products and smizing for the ... computer? Though she's more model than influencer, her likeness is used to sell, too. Shudu doesn't have a personality, per se, but it's because Wilson hasn't come across a human that could do her justice — yet: "Only someone similar to Shudu would be appropriate to tell her story, and really shape who she is as ‘person,’" he mused to Mashable via email. He supports the movement to create more digital supermodels like Shudu: "It doesn’t matter who you are, if you study art and learn how to use 3D programs, you too can be a 6ft tall virtual runway model!"

Barbie, 6.2 million subscribers
Here's a familiar face. The uber-popular icon that is Barbie has a digital counterpart, and she's a vlogger. Her first video, in which she introduces herself, went up in 2015. In it, she talks about being from Wisconsin (who knew?) and having a sister. "I've always just been curious about things," she shares earnestly, her huge animated eyes blinking like those of a human YouTuber. Since then, she's uploaded over 75 vlogs, most of which include her sister Skipper and boyfriend Ken, to the YouTube channel owned and operated by Mattel. Barbie is the OG influencer — she's known for doing a million different jobs and having fun while doing them. Why reinvent the wheel?

Balenciaga's digi-models
While you can't follow these influencers, they're worth mentioning. To show off their Spring 2019 collection on Instagram, Spanish fashion house Balenciaga utilized shape-shifting digital models made by artist Yilmaz Sen. In a series of short video clips on Instagram, the digital models sparked questions about the future of technology in fashion.  With cool haircuts and names like Elsa and Ruben, everything about them screams high fashion. However, unlike human models that walk down runways, these models stand in place and distort themselves like they're made of rubber. Because all haute couture should be shown on computer-generated contortionist models!

What's next, then?
Tapping around on these digi-fluencer's pages provides an exciting, if not unsettling, look at the future of technology and the part it may play in pop culture. Some question the validity, appeal, and purpose of these bots. Perhaps it's performance art. Or maybe it's all just an elaborate stunt to leverage consumer action? YouTuber Shane Dawson has a popular video dedicated to uncovering the identity of Lil Miquela. He even calls her on the phone — only to be met with a clearly auto-tuned voice who's careful not to give anything away, or falter at all.
Liz Bacelar, a tech expert, mused to Forbes that we could potentially find ourselves living in a world in which we all have a digital avatar. And with facial recognition being insidiously installed in mundane places (like gas stations) in order to advertise, secure, and identify us, this may be sooner than we think. Just imagine, we'll be in self-driving cars, scrolling by digitized avatars trying to make us use their discount codes. Or perhaps we'll allow our digitized selves to live for us, like we've seen in futuristic movies like Ready Player One and Wall-E.
Think of your new CGI friends as the pixelated pioneers of a new, formulated frontier. Who knows? Maybe our human selves could be rendered virtually useless. For now, though, we can just keep an eye on Instagram.

Some of my new/old favorite things that I think you should take a look at
New favorite movies:
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (1982, with George Heard and Angela Lansbury) - It’s one of the most entertaining performances I’ve seen in a while, and despite what people say about Johnny Depp’s take on the character, I think I love George Heard’s portrayal a lot more. He just seems more sympathetic and has a certain aura of that of a mad genius- his dynamic with Angela Lansbury’s Mrs. Lovett is also pretty fun as well, as she seems to have a really quick and diabolical sense of humor, which is quite enjoyable. The music is also really catchy and well crafted around the dark subject matter of the play, and is lyrically masterful in some fun wordplay. This is quite a tragic comedy, helmed by quite a tragic comedian, Mr. Sweeney Todd.
Sabrina (1995, with Julia Ormond and Harrison Ford) - At first I didn’t like this movie- mainly because I didn’t pay too much attention to it, which made its flaws stand out a lot more. However the second time around I was able to appreciate the simple beauty the film was trying to portray; I really did believe Ormond’s Sabrina had transformed into a sophisticated young woman and that Ford’s Linus was genuinely a tired businessman falling in love with her. Yes there are some things I wish had panned out a lot differently (David’s excuse for hitting on Sabrina being basically, “Well she’s hot now, let’s get man-whoring!”), the film isn’t perfect, but with a delicately beautiful score crafted by none other than the man himself John Williams, and a postcard perfect setting with some award-winning actors and actresses, you just might fall in love with Sabrina as many others had before.
Phantom of the Opera (1925) - Boy do I love some aesthetic and some cheesy 1920′s melodrama! As you would expect from any film in the 1920′s, many loved to deal with the subject of romanticism, albeit heavily Victorian overtones, but married with it is the want of complexity and depth- such want or presentation being rampant throughout that type of literature and film- but being unable to present such depth. Basically,
“I’m ugly but I hope that you can love me despite all that! I’ll treat you like a queen!” Said Erik.
“Gah! You’re ugly so that makes you evil! Byeeeeeeee!” Cried Christine.
And that’s about as deep as the waters of love and insanity got, but then again the imagery and ideas this film provokes is very satisfying- though I can’t say anything about the music since this is a silent film.
Alice Adams (1935) - It’s a little old favorite of mine; I saw it last year and it made me think of my own situation. It just proves that middle-class girls today had it rough even back then, and that’s practically one of the only reasons I like it- that and I think Katherine Hepburn gives a good performance. I’d say though that this film isn’t for everyone, as it was made in the 1930′s (you can draw your own conclusions there), but overall it’s a simple little film about trying to overcome financial adversity.
Guardians of the Galaxy 2 (2017): OKAY DON’T KILL ME. I did not like this movie that much the first time I saw it. I thought there were no stakes and everything seemed too nostalgic, bright and cheery, and not very deep in writing the plot and characters- the CGI backgrounds got on my nerves as well. HOWEVER, after watching Linday Ellis’s review of the film, presenting some things I hadn’t noticed before, I had second thoughts and evaluated what the movie actually was. Family is integral to the theme of the Guardians, and with family it can make a franchise last a lot more. I also found after my reconsideration, Guardians of the Galaxy 2 presents a lot more darker aspects of family and how to deal with them. With this in mind, I think I might give this film another watch to try and understand what I missed.

New Favorite Songs:
Tatsuro Yamashita, “Love Talkin’ (Honey it’s You): Okay Tatsuro Yamashita YOU ARE A GENIUS. Oh my god I wish American radio let us hear more foreign music, this is so lovely to listen to! It makes me think of summertime, coffeecake, and lemonade- it’s just so sweet! :D
Saint Pepsi, “Skylar Spence” (Love talkin’s vaporwave counterpart): Saint Pepsi turned Yamashita’s summery feel-good song into a fun, catchy, dance-club/future disco/funk anthem, and I never grow tired of it. I always want to dance!
Tatsuro Yamashita, “Magic Ways”: It’s bouncy and lovely as usual, but also very romantic and sweet- it never gets old.
Fleetwood Mac, “Rhiannon”: Another good song to listen to when it’s raining outside (turn off the lights and let the natural light come in)
Electric Light Orchestra, “Don’t bring me down”: I think this should be the anthem of teachers everywhere- it really captures the rhythm of starting the day and makes me think of the little struggles we try to move past, everyday drudging on trying to not let life get you down. It’s catchy and bad-ass.
La la land, “Someone in the crowd”: This makes you want to find a stage and dance all over it.
Coldplay, “Green Eyes”: Imaging sitting in a little restaurant and bar with your bf/gf- warm, casual, and chill.
The Struts, “Ballroom Blitz”: This is a perfect cover and it will spur to to dance and jump up and down your living room, playing air guitar.
New/Old Favorite Shows (on cable, I don’t have netflix):
Svengoolie: Saturdays at 8/7c on MeTV (1250), the Macabre and cheesy Svengoolie will introduce a classic horror movie and interject with some bad puns, a really nice way to spend your Saturday nights.
The Carol Burnett Show: Reruns air on MeTV (1250), her comedy is treasured and golden, there are several great old skits that are legend in the comedic world that really shine even to this day.
The Bold and the Beautiful: Airs on CBS (3), This soap opera has no other value other than to laugh at its absurdity and dream-like logic. It is the most vapid and shallow shit you’ve ever seen, but that just makes it even more enjoyable! It’s Greek mythology in LA, where everyone is stupid, lies their asses off to get what they want, has the most black-and-white and empty morals, and basically everyone including their grandfather can’t keep it in their pants.
Friends: Who doesn’t like Friends?
The Big Bang Theory: Debatable, but I like it anyways, it’s funny at times.
